My husband and I had our wedding at The Lodge in September and it was absolutely amazing! When we visited for a tour we knew right away this was the venue for us. Joelle was so helpful and easy to work with. Throughout the entire wedding planning process she answered all our questions and she was so flexible with our meetings since we live out of town. The building itself is s beautiful, we didn't really even feel the need to bring in too many of our own decorations. It was so great to have the venue for the whole day leading up to our ceremony, and the bridal suite was so spacious for myself and my party to get ready in. The food was AMAZING, our guests all still talk about how good their meals were. Everything ran so smoothly the day before and the day of, and we could not have asked for a better venue!

We absolutely LOVED the Lodge. The Venue is beautiful and unique and the staff is professional and experienced. Joelle (coordinator) and her team were amazing, they were on top of every single detail and helped make the day perfect. So many of our guests commented on the venue, how good the food was, etc., and that is not all that common in the wedding business. Would 100% recommend to any and everyone

We had our wedding that we had been planning for 2 years at the Lodge (rescheduled three times to COVID), and it was worth the wait!! The venue was beautiful and Joelle was beyond helpful. We had our dream wedding thanks to her and her team. The food was delicious and the venue packaging allowed our wedding dream to become a reality. We couldnt be happier with our wedding venue and it will forever be special to us. It is a beautiful scenery and people are still talking about it!

Joelle, Meg, and the rest of the team at the Lodge made our November wedding an amazing, beautiful experience that we will be able to reflect upon for the rest of our lives. The planning experience went without a hitch, both Joelle and Meg were very responsive and helpful any time myself, my fiancé, or either of our moms had any questions. The venue itself is gorgeous even without any decorations, and the lighting and sound system they have installed really elevates everything. The food and drinks were also amazing, and helped all our guests have a great time. Thank you, Lodge staff!

Having our wedding at the Lodge was the one of the greatest decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. My now-husband and I met working at Welch Allyn, and I grew up with a camp in Skaneateles that we moved out to every summer - so I knew I really wanted to get married in Skaneateles. After looking at a few venues there, the Lodge immediately stood out to us as the best place to do it. The ceremony was at St. Mary's church in town and the reception was at the Lodge. We met with Joelle our first time there, and from the very beginning she was incredibly down to earth, honest, knowledgable and flexible. I can't say it enough -- Joelle made our entire wedding planning process and day seamless. We had several meetings with her in the months leading up to the wedding, and I looked forward to going each time just to see and chat with Joelle. Whatever unease I was feeling in the planning process, Joelle talked it through with us and made us feel confident. She let me discuss my ideas with her, and either made them happen or made suggestions on how to do things better -- which I took because she is truly an expert. On our wedding day, my husband and I couldn't wait to get to the Lodge after our ceremony. We got off our limo excitedly saying "where's Joelle!!" because we were really looking forward to seeing her after all of our planning and conversations. I had a specific vision for how the Lodge would look on our wedding day, and Joelle had arranged everything even better than I had imagined. It was absolutely beautiful. Because our wedding was in December but it was a rainy day instead of snow, my dress got dirty on the bottom. It was a very plain dress so it was easy to see. Joelle pulled me into the side room and scrubbed my dress until it was absolutely clean -- something I'm sure isn't in her job description. It was just another way Joelle went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our guests couldn't comment enough on the signature cocktails, the hors d'oeuvres and the dinner. Everything was outstanding. The staff was so accommodating, and I don't think myself, my husband or any of our parents ever went looking for anything we needed -- they always brought us drinks and food, making sure we could focus on each other and our guests. I've never felt so special. We both brought our parents to the "tasting" the Lodge does - where they throw a "mock" wedding so you can see how everything works and taste the food. They had fireworks at the end, which was an option, and my Dad worked with Joelle to have that as a surprise at our wedding. Joelle kept the secret - and we were so surprised when they started. It was all so special. When I had to say goodbye to Joelle later in the night, I was sad -- which may sound dramatic, but it's true. Planning our wedding with Joelle's help and expertise was an absolute joy. I would recommend her and the entire staff at the Lodge if you'd like to have the most amazing and seamless planning experience and wedding. Thank you Joelle and the Lodge staff for everything! PS: I did see one negative review (out of hundreds) that caught me by surprise. I'm shocked to see it, and nothing I read there sounded anything like my experience with Joelle Eddy. I can only conclude that was more of a bride problem and less of a Joelle/The Lodge problem. Thank you again!

Do not recommend. We spent about $30,000 and it wasn't worth it at all. Pros: The venue is gorgeous and the food is amazing Cons: Everything else. The price is insane for what you get and they nickle and dime you for everything. They wanted $100 for the use of an old beaten up door for a seating chart (really? no thanks). They tell you you are paying for one thing and that's not what you get then they blame you for "misunderstanding". $3,000 for exclusive use of the facility for your ceremony should be exclusive use all day since its 3k! Nope. Only from when your guest start arriving. That means while you're getting ready there will be meetings, tours, etc. going on while you're trying to do your thing. When you set up to have a cash bar during dinner (as in no free alcohol over dinner) that should mean that people have to pay for their alcohol. BE WARNED to them a cash bar is everything! They wanted guest to pay for soda, coffee, tea, etc! After the kind of money you spend here that should be included and made very clear because everyone I ask agrees that cash bar=pay for alcohol that's it. Children set up and decorated my dinner tables? I wasn't aware I was paying for child labor. Joelle Eddy ended up being a nightmare to work with. Not sure how she has so many good reviews. Megan and Bristol were amazing and I wish I could have worked with just them for the whole time. Joelle was rude and always acted like I was an inconvenience over everything. She literally fought with me during my reception at my head table over the cash bar incident. My mother informed me the bar was making people pay for the soda, coffee, tea, during dinner and I requested to speak with Joelle who immediately got angry and started being very rude to me, the bride, at my reception, telling me I misunderstood what a cash bar was and a bunch of other issues. Eventually the problem was resolved but not before a scene was made in front of all of my guests. Even if she disagreed with me she should have just taken care of it and we could have dealt with it later instead of arguing with the bride in front of all her guest. She also interrupted our pictures rudely and angrily because we ran over cocktail hour a bit. Again, not your wedding. Go with the flow and make it work do not be rude to the bride on her wedding day. It literally made me cry because I was overwhelmed and upset by her actions. When bringing my decor over she kept commenting on how much stuff we had and that is was ridiculous, which was ridiculously rude and it wasn't a lot at all. After the fact when picking my stuff up they had just thrown it all together without a care, and my parents had to actually do a lot of it. Joelle was rude to them and then disappeared. The venue and grounds are pretty the food was amazing but do not waste your money and risk ruining your special day too. There are other gorgeous places with better and nicer people that will actual care about making your day perfect! If you already booked it or are insistent on it DO NOT WORK WITH JOELLE she should not be allowed to work weddings. Request Meghan or Bristol.

I cannot say enough about amazing things about the Lodge and their staff. Our day was absolute perfection. Joelle and her team made everything seamless and we never had to worry about a thing. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering the venue.

Everything about the Lodge was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The place is beautiful and the staff was so professional. Joelle and Megan were both so kind and so helpful and made the whole planning process so easy and effortless! All the guests loved the food and drinks and only had such wonderful things to say about everything!

As I have heard weddings at the lodge are memorable and you're guests will be talking about your wedding for time to come! Everyone told us this was one of the best weddings they've been too! They got every detail right and made sure i had food and got to try everything even though myself and my husband were going around to all the tables and greeting guests. They made it carefree because I KNEW everyone had a great time and LOVED the food! Absolute hands down best choice of venue for a memorable night!

Everyone at the lodge works very hard to ensure a flawless day. Joelle handles any mishaps gracefully and strives to keep the bride and groom happy. The wait staff were very gracious and attended to our every need. The food is exceptional and served hot.

I can't say enough about how amazing our wedding turned out. We highly recommend the Lodge at Welch Allyn! Meg was so easy to work with. She made everything go so smoothly. She was professional, funny, and kept everything flowing throughout the night. We can't say enough good things about her and the WAL. We were even able to have our dog be a part of our ceremony! From the food to the decor everything was perfect. So many of our guests complimented on the food. We highly recommend the Lodge to any couple looking for an amazing venue!

had an amazing experience working with the Lodge both during the planning process and the wedding day itself. Joelle, the coordinator for the Lodge, was in constant communication throughout planning, quickly responding to any inquiries. The food was absolutely delicious and we still have guests raving about it. The service staff was also top of the line. We had zero worries the day of the wedding because they ran it all so smoothly.

Can't say enough good things. I wanted a very different layout/order of events than the wedding norm and when other venues told me "No, not possible" the Welch Allyn was like "Let's do it" and not only that they were excited about doing something different and helped me make my dreams a reality. When your 90 year old grandfather (who has 6 kids and 15 grandkids) says it's the best wedding he has ever been to and your friends ask you to get married again you know something went right and the Welch Allyn staff were the behind the scenes miracle workers. Work with Joelle and Megan if you can, both amazing. And the food...the food was never ending and all so good! So many compliments from my guests.

The staff at The Lodge was amazing, we could not have asked for anything more. They were understanding and worked hard every minute to make sure everything was perfect. The staff made sure myself and my husband had everything we needed and checked in on us throughout the night. All of our guests could not say anything but wonderful things about the venue. They even let us have a room on the side for children and we provided our own babysitter.

We could not be happier that we chose The Lodge for our ceremony and reception! Meghan was amazing to work with from day one. If there was something we didn't think of, she thought of it. Nothing was overlooked. The venue was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch! We even had our own server (Emily, who was amazing!) assigned to my husband and me to make sure we never went without food or drink while we were busy running around with photos and the other things that keep pulling a bride and groom away. We can't say enough good things about The Lodge. It was obvious that making our special day perfect was as important to them as it was to us.

The Lodge at Welch Allyn was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding venue. The coordinator, Joelle, was truly fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about her. She responded promptly and thoughtfully to all of my emails and calls, and we also had three face to face meetings leading up to the big day. She took care of everything from making a timeline, to suggesting vendors, to ordering linens, to coordinating with my vendors, to setting up and taking down all of my decor. She was kind and organized and a true professional. She responded to and took care of every little special request I had without batting an eyelash. The Lodge had so many different options for food, lighting, additional decor, and even kids rooms and bridal party packages, that it made everything super easy. They even provided a personal concierge for the bride on the wedding day, who attended personally to my every need and want, from getting my food and drinks, to loading gifts and cake into my car at the end of the night. The many different options offered by the venue also made it more customizable to fit my specific budget. They offer discounts on food packages and even venue costs depending on the season and day of the week. It also helps immensely that I was able to drop of my decor at any time leading up to the wedding, and am able to pick it up weeks after. HIGHLY recommended.

The Lodge and Meghan in particular was amazing to deal with for our event. We had a rather large wedding with lots of custom never done before design and food requests. The Lodge was flexible with all of them and met with us and our vendors several times to figure out all of our logistics. The property is truly beautiful and our guests were blown away. We would highly recommend considering the Lodge for any wedding or event.

We held wedding reception at The Lodge at Welch Allyn and were thrilled with the entire experience. Everything went better than we could have imagined! The venue itself is beautiful, the food is outstanding and the drinks were amazing and the staff is extremely professional! The Lodge has a great menu and will bend over backwards to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. Our wedding coordinator, Meghan Coe was wonderful to work with! She was very organized, quick to respond, and extremely helpful during the wedding planning process. The Lodge books up very quickly, so if you are considering this venue book it as soon as you can!

The Welch Allyn Lodge is a stunning space that accommodated everything for our special day. Due to extenuating circumstances we had a lot of last minute changes and they handled every request with kindness and professionalism. The food was wonderful and did not taste like standard high-volume catered meals. They also offered a great bar at a great price. If you are considering a winter wedding I'd highly recommend this space as it fits perfectly with a Christmas or winter theme.

The Lodge at Welch Allyn is THE place to have your wedding. The beautiful, rustic Lodge cannot be beat when it comes to set up, design and ambience. When you have your wedding there, it is the ONLY event going on. Their staff is incredible and the food was beyond my expectations. The floor manager, Ben, could not have been more professional and helpful! He could put any Bride's nerves at ease.
