SkinnyBoy Media

rt playing. He was so quick to answer any question I had and he really made the night so special. He included all of our requests and catered to the crowd to make sure everyone was having a great time. Planning a wedding is a lot of work and he really took over the music aspect of it, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. If I ever need a DJ again I am 100% choosing SkinnyBoy Media. Truly amazing.

commend enough!

h. He got everyone on the dance floor and it was just so much fun. Can’t recommend him enough! Thank you Tyson for all you did for us!

o with him for our next big party!

my husband and me haha) beyond excited! That dance floor was packed and rowdy!! I wholeheartedly recommend him - amazing job Tyson!!!

that I was impressed beyond belief. It was exactly them. When I got engaged last year, I was hoping against hope that Skinnyboy would be available for my wedding. And he was! Tyson took the time to get to know me and my husband and asked us what time of music we wanted at our ceremony and reception. He was willing to find the exact songs I wanted play for certain elements of my wedding day and even took the time to find out what I DIDN’T want played. Skinnyboy Media made an event filled with 80+ people feel unique and personalized to my husband and me, but also had all of our guests engaged in what became just a really fun party atmosphere.

and kept our wedding on track the whole day with little to no input from me or my fiancé. We gave him inspiration playlists for our ceremony, cocktail, reception, and dancing and he did a great job sticking to it and adding in other songs that were great. Our dance floor was packed from the beginning of dancing till the very end of the night (3 hours total). We also did the digital photo booth which was so fun for us and the guests and we got to have all the pictures afterwards. We are in our mid 20’s so we wanted to make sure some more current/popular songs were played during dancing and Tyson was right on top of it and knew exactly the vibe we were going for. Many of our guests said he was one of the best wedding DJ’s they’ve ever seen. I couldn’t recommend him enough! Thank you Tyson!

cate with (which is super important when planning a wedding). On the day of our wedding, he was professional, kind, personable, and did an absolutely AMAZING job with our music!! We had the best time dancing the night away and he kept the dance floor packed. Our guests were giving us compliments on the music for weeks after! I can't recommend DJ Tyson enough!

nal and our dances perfectly, and he went out of his way to make a specific mix for my husband and his mom's first dance. He also managed the acoustics of The Arcade beautifully. Our dance floor was packed all night, and guests complimented us the next morning on how great Tyson's transitions were. Since the first day we booked with Tyson, all the way up to our last song, we had zero doubts in choosing him. :)

email I sent to inquire about booking, he was extremely professional and responsive. I am very patient with matters like this but I don’t even think we waited longer than a day to hear back from Tyson. I was unsure of timeline with not much clue on how to put everything and he worked with me in minutes and helped put it all together! Everything was so simple to book, I gave him what I wanted and he made our dream a vision like a piece of cake. If his company comes across in your searches, look no further. The music was great, whether everyone knew the songs or not it got them on the dance floor. We love that they even handle the Photo Booth with a custom made neon sign and we didn’t have to book these things separately! Huge help! His fiancé does the Photo Booth and she is the sweetest thing on earth, our guests were even pulling her on the dance floor. Tyson and his fiancé were a huge part of our night and we cannot thank them enough!!

m was helpful, and he took the time to go over it with us clearly and thoroughly before our big day. He gave advice but gently, without pressuring us away from our instincts about what our people would respond to. Day of, he came technologically prepared. Setup was great. His work on the mic was sparse—but perfect. And his song selections were just spot-frigging-on. A dozen people at our wedding have asked us about him. We love Tyson. Thank you forever!!!

ing. He was able to take notes and changes and execute them with ease on our wedding day. He brought such a positive, yet fun energy to our ceremony. The same goes for our reception as our guests stayed on the dance floor all night. We loved working with him from the very beginning, and could not recommend his DJ and officiating services more!

ce floor from start to finish. Can't recommend enough.

, creativity and fun spirit. We have not stopped receiving messages asking who our DJ was and for his contact information because he was just THAT GOOD!!! The dance floor was so crowded and not a single guest left early because Tyson curated the most perfect party through music. He kindly listened to all of our silly requests for song choices and also was able to gauge the crowd for what music they enjoyed. There was not a single song played that the whole room wasn’t dancing to and I was afraid to leave the dance floor to get dessert or a drink for fear of missing out on whatever the next song was about to be. If you are even thinking about using Tyson to DJ your event, do not hesitate. It was the best decision we made!!

heart and curated the party vibe accordingly. Genuinely everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. He took a strange request from me for the father daughter dance and executed it exceptionally, he learned the song I wanted to walk the aisle to on guitar beautifully, and the photobooth was a HUGE hit. I had multiple people ask me if Tyson knew us personally because the music was perfectly synced to who we are. We spoke on the phone for over an our telling him what we like and don’t like and he really worked with it. We booked pretty much every service he offers and he knocked it all out of the park seamlessly. We feel so lucky to have found him and can promise you that you will not regret booking him for your event !!!!!!

one for our wedding. During the reception he kept the dance floor packed, and many of our wedding guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing the night away! He also did a fantastic job of keeping the evening flowing so that key events could happen when planned in the overall timeline of events. He was friendly and professional and was a major contributor to making our wedding day an unforgettable day. Highly recommend Tyson to anyone looking for DJ services for their special event.

DJ's that play the same old songs that are awful. Or they don't announce things at the right time or just don't communicate. This was my fear. I was recommended Skinny Boy Media from my photographer in Cincy. Then I noticed he was in Cleveland and I am located in South Central Ohio (where there are no good DJ's). I was so nervous that I was going to have a massive upcharge due to travelling 4.5 hours. I reached out and got a quote from him and discussed the type of wedding I wanted with the music and flow of things. He communicated amazing right from the start and was transparent in pricing and had no problem whatsoever travelling to Southern Ohio/Northern KY. Whew! Then I dragged my feet because this is a large decision. The website of DJ's are hard to tell what they are like. It's not like you can go to a wedding they are at and see if you like it, haha! But then as I looked on a Facebook group of Ohio Bride's to Be I noticed his name kept getting referenced. Which was a good hint. Then I talked to him further about uplighting and Photobooth services for the night. I kept delaying again... Then he reached out to me again telling me someone else wanted my date (July 8) if I didn't want it. That sealed the deal and I paid the deposit online. My husband and I completed a detailed form he provided on Google Docs to say what songs we wanted during what time. And what songs we did not want! We had a video chat with him describing ourselves, the vibe we wanted for our wedding, etc. We are 28yrs and wanted a middle school dance party vibe. I also didn't want songs switched every other minute, but transitioned nicely with reading the crowd. I also asked for some Disney songs during dinner. Man did he deliver!!! It was a party!! And he politely communicated with me during the night, asking if I was ready to begin the dances, the speeches, let dinner tables go to the buffet, etc. We also added a game from 4H camp called Bring-Me and he had it organized on his iPad, let my sister run the game on the mic, etc. The photo booth also sent photos to each person and I got a google drive link to all of them. I chose the Ivy wall with props. I did not choose to have a glow light in the photo background, but that is an option. The 30 uplights literally pulled everything together in the long room! (70ft x 30ft). He was on time, stayed till the end as expected. He also helped create a super special memory for my husband and I that I didn't even plan for! At the end (11:30pm) he had everyone go outside or towards the end of the building and he played "At Last" with just my husband and I. It was so perfect to end the night. If you made it this far...I hope I've convinced you to HIRE SKINNY BOY MEDIA!!! He will communicate like you want, provide a clear contract, provide uplights & a photo booth, travel to your venue without complications, keep things running smooth and do a damn good job!!

ur incredible experience with Tyson from SkinnyBoyMedia and why he's the perfect choice for your wedding. Before discovering Tyson, we had encountered a few DJs who left us feeling somewhat uneasy or were overly confident in their ability to predict our musical preferences. But then, like a musical virtuoso, Tyson came into our lives, catching our attention through his Instagram that showcased his exceptional talent for setting the perfect ambiance for any occasion. From our very first conversation with Tyson, it was abundantly clear that he wasn't your run-of-the-mill DJ. He was a true maestro with deep roots in the music scene. We had concerns about the acoustics at our venue, with its soaring ceilings potentially impacting the music quality. However, Tyson swiftly put our minds at ease, outlining his plan to ensure that the sound would be as clear as a perfectly struck chord during our reception. And, spoiler alert, his strategy was a resounding success, leaving our guests absolutely thrilled with the music. Now, let's talk about the cherry on top – Tyson's photobooth capability. This isn't your standard photobooth from your high school prom; this is a custom neon sign that transforms every moment into an Instagram-worthy memory. And here's the best part: Tyson had a dedicated attendant on hand to assist with printing and sending your photos. No need to fret about spilling your drink on your precious prints – Tyson's got it all covered! Back to the music, I'm a massive fan of Warped Tour, and my song requests and "do-not-plays" list certainly reflected that passion. Tyson not only welcomed our musical suggestions with boundless enthusiasm but also shared his brilliant ideas for seamless transitions between tracks. Believe me when I say that the dance floor was electric, filled with energy and sing-alongs, all thanks to Tyson's well-timed decisions. But Tyson is more than just a DJ; he's a master of ceremonies extraordinaire. He effortlessly wove together every element of our celebration, turning it into a mesmerizing spectacle. We were particularly appreciative that Tyson traveled all the way from Cleveland to Columbus for our special day. Our preparations were conducted via video conferencing, which was convenient but left us longing for an in-person meeting before the grand entrance. Yet, Tyson had a delightful surprise in store for us. As we were getting ready in the bridal suite, a knock on the door revealed Tyson, eager to run through the plan one more time, assure us that everything was under control, and get us pumped for an unforgettable evening. And boy, did he deliver! To all you soon-to-be-weds out there, here's the bottom line: If you're in search of the perfect DJ to create the ultimate musical backdrop for your wedding, look no further. Reach out to Tyson right away! We had an array of fantastic vendors, but Tyson undoubtedly stole the show as our top favorite, and he's the one we'll be recommending to all our friends and family. Seriously, you're already on Tyson's page; take the next step, send an inquiry, or shoot him a text, and get ready to dance the night away! Your wedding day will be a masterpiece in the making! 🎶🕺💃

hly recommend!! This would not have been my dream wedding without him!

was organized with quick response times. The party was phenomenal because of Tyson- we will be recommending him to absolutely everyone we know!!!!

with. He kept sane while i was constantly texting & calling him with questions & he never hesitated once to help me with anything. He made our day so special & unique by basically being down to do whatever crazy idea I had in mind like wearing a pink jacket to my wedding (it was a hit). His photo booth that we booked was also just as amazing, great quality photos with unlimited prints & a digital copy of them sent straight to me to keep & look at whenever I want to reminisce on my special night! We also got his upstage lighting for the reception area & it all came together so well & he definitely knows what he is doing in this industry! I would recommend Skinny boy media again & again to anyone that will listen. 10/10 definitely recommend him.

azing and he kept everyone dancing all night - highly recommend him!

e our day a blast!!! 🤍🤍

playlist to the timeline. He played all of the songs we asked for and then some! He played the perfect mix of upbeat and slow songs. His way of reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor was more than impressive! He made sure to come and find me or my husband before making any major transitions (cake cutting, first dances, etc.) which we really appreciated. It has been a month since the wedding and our families are still talking about how great the DJ was! We highly recommend Tyson for your big day, and we’ll be sure to use him again in the future!

ng the photo booth package was also the best choice. Everyone had so much fun with it!!!

e music and made the energy of the night awesome. I would highly recommend Tyson 10000%. Don't go anywhere else but to SkinnyBoy Media!

had a blast on our wedding day, the ceremony was wonderful, and the music was perfect. I highly recommend Tyson!!

sic! His lighting setup was also beyond anything I was expecting and it truly transformed my wedding venue! Tyson is also so kind and funny! I am so glad that we ended up choosing him and he made my wedding such a blast!

hours away, I had a million question and he took the time to answer them all. He was even the person who helped me create my wedding timeline. The music was absolutely perfect for both my ceremony and reception, and he managed to incorporate my Harry Potter requests for when I walked down the aisle. Choosing SkinnyBoy Media you cannot go wrong.

special say. We highly recommend!

ally flexible and made sure everything with the tech/AV was exactly as we wanted, despite the change of plans. The ceremony was very involved and so important to us, and Tyson totally ran with all our plans and made sure everything went smoothly. From our very first communication with him, I got such great vibes from Tyson — not only was he incredibly kind and enthusiastic about working with a queer couple, but also had experience DJing dry weddings (as ours was) and helping alleviate our worries about whether people would dance without any liquid courage. And can I just tell you — the dance floor was packed and ecstatic the whole night. Tyson did a great job curating a set based on our "must plays" and our hopes for the night. We wished the night could've lasted forever!!! Thank you Tyson for helping make our wedding the most joyous day of our lives.

me to focus on what was important, my daughter.

work with-- we had a few calls leading up to our wedding and he made sure that we had absolutely nothing to worry about throughout the entire process. We actually had a surprise visit from the Cleveland Hot Dogs (Cleveland Guardians), and Tyson took it in stride with only a moments notice. He was able to keep everyone entertained on the dance floor all night long, and we received many compliments from our guests. We had many even state that the vibes in the room were the best they have ever experienced at a wedding, and that was largely due to Tyson :) We cannot recommend him enough!

es about how he can support you with great audio, lighting and creating a fun and interactive environment that pulled our guests out to the dance floor. His knowledge of technical needs was amazing and truly made it easy for us to not have to worry about a thing. His communication style was clear and truly attentive to what we wanted and needed to support both the ceremony and reception. I couldn’t recommend his services enough. The entire night ran smooth and everyone had a blast. Vince

es and he carried out both flawlessly. He understood what we were looking for after just one conversation and put together a beautiful ceremony. He kept the party going and even took Bollywood music requests from guests. He guided through the night and it was one less thing we had to worry about. We definitely recommend his services!!

sional, recessional, dinner music, etc. I'm not picky, so it was hard for me to narrow down the thousands of songs out there. Tyson not only chose these songs for me but chose them well. The music throughout the night was wonderful and our small crowd danced the whole time! Highly recommend Tyson for your wedding.

w great their service and personalities were throughout the night. Tyson worked very well with our officiant and made the timing flow very well. He even found my groom without me asking to make sure our first dance was on time haha! They were awesome!

nding our ring bears and flower girls down the isle, got a super special picture of our ceremony that I wouldn’t have had otherwise, got our food at the reception for us, and dismissed our tables for dinner. My husband has brought up multiple times since our wedding about how great of a job he did! You will not regret booking with SkinnyBoy Media!

officiant services. And I am SO glad we booked him for both! From our first meeting to our wedding day, Tyson has brought nothing but joy, professionalism, kindness, wit, and humor. He made us feel like family at every step of the way and our ceremony and reception were HUGE successes because of him. He was able to write a beautiful ceremony script that fit our needs, and our party was absolutely LITTY because of his DJing prowess. But that's not all! He also offers photobooth options, one of which was an ivy wall with a custom neon sign, and our guests LOVED IT (and so did we!). He had an attendant at the booth all night who helped us with prints, and sent it to phones, emails, etc accordingly. In short, Tyson is an absolute gem and you would be missing out on a wonderful journey if you didn't hire him!

more highly recommend him!
