About this vendor
Skip has been playing solo piano for over 25 years in Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. Among his longer jobs are a seven year, five night per week stint at the Norfolk Airport Hilton and a six year job at the Pavilion Towers Hotel in Virginia Beach. He has played at The Homestead, The Greenbrier, the Canadian Embassy and Nordstroms, just to name a few.
In 2001, he was selected to perform at the Presidential Inaugural Ball with the Charles Darden Group as musical director.
While Lawrence Welk star Tom Netherton was at the Williamsburg Music Theater (2002-2004), Skip was his music director, leading an eight piece group. He still occasionally will fly out to do concerts with Tom.
These days he stays busy with steady work at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club in Va. Beach and with his band, Skylark. For more info, visit my GigMasters press kit.
