I first heard about Sky Cinema from a wedding I was in. I recall everything being so flawless that day, and Ruth and her team made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (I can be very camera shy), so they had a lasting impression on me. About a year and a half later, I got engaged and my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process right away. We met with a few other vendors but Sky Cinema had always stuck out, and again, I had previous experience with them and we loved all their work, so it was an easy choice to make! We were in contact with owner Ruth Samson from the beginning. Ruth is responsive, meticulous and funny! We really felt we meshed with Ruth and her partner and husband, Garry. She took all of our ideas and made them come to life. Ruth and Garry know how to genuinely bring out a smile, laughter, and happy tears on your wedding day. Their team really made us feel so comfortable. You've got to have the right personality and passion for this type of work and it really shows with Sky Cinema! We decided to book SkyCinema because they've shot a bunch of our friends' weddings, and we are so glad we did because Ruth and Garry are amazing! Up until our wedding day, Ruth was always really responsive, which was one less stress in the myriad of stressful things that can come with planning a wedding. And on the day, they worked seamlessly with our photographer and DJ to get certain shots and to capture special moments. Our teaser video was delivered to us just a few days after our wedding and our wedding highlight video was delivered about a month after. We were so impressed with the quality and content of both videos- they made me, my husband, as well as some of our family and friends cry. We are so happy we get to relive our wedding day through these beautiful videos. We loved having Ruth and Garry at our wedding and would recommend them to anyone!!

We got married in April 2021 and hired Sky Cinema as our videographer. Hiring Ruth was one of the best decisions I ever made! In looking for a videographer, we were prepared invest in the best, and upon interviewing a few, we chose Sky Cinema not because of their competitive rates, but because Ruth knew how to listen to her client's wishes. We did feel like weren't boxed in to what was "usual". We did not want a first look, and she respected that and made it work. We wanted to do a documentary-style interview, and she delivered. After that first day of meeting with Ruth, I knew she was the one. That's why I built our vendor team around her- I literally hired almost all her recommendations. Most impressively, Ruth was able to deliver a most unusual and complicated request. See, not only did we have to postpone our wedding, we also had our to decrease our guest count. This meant that not everyone could attend in person. I reached out to Ruth to avail of their livestream option so that friends and family can watch the ceremony live. It was so high-quality and the execution was perfect. I also pitched to her the idea of running a Zoom video call during the reception, showing a live feed and pre-recorded videos from friends and family. She figured out the logistics and boy did she deliver!!! Our wedding day was perfect because of Sky Cinema Films, and we have it all on beautiful video to prove it.

I got married yesterday 9/5. We had one guest because the pandemic didn’t allow us to celebrate as we wanted. I am from overseas and so is my husband. So we thought about LIVE STREAMING the ceremony so my mother/brother/family and so my husband family could see it. The church offers live streaming from. A phone but we though a profesional camera to make sure nothing goes wrong. This couple were amazing. We negotiated an hour and change since is what usually ceremonies last, and the highlight video edited after. They streamed from the time my husband got of the car until we both left, they followed us to the first pictures spot to make sure they had extra shots to prepare a nice highlights vídeo. Any other company would have left after ceremony ended and would work with what they had, but this couple no, they took extra pictures shots didn’t care about the extra time it took, they stick around and took all their needed shots working together with our photographer. I even hace them a dance that we recorded the day before to show after the ceremony in the same live streaming and they had no problem adding it. All our friends and family were able to see the live stream if in their tv and the image was impecable so the sound and 3 cameras. I didn’t get my highlight video yet I am sure will be perfect. Do yourself a favor and hire this vendor, you won’t regret it, we’d give them 10 starts If We could.

My now-husband and I booked Ruth and Gary from Sky Cinema Films for our destination wedding in Maui, Hawai'i. Funny part, we booked them last minute prior to our wedding, about 2 months or 3, and it was one of the BEST decisions we did. The moment we met them, it instantly felt like family. The process was well organized, they paid attention to detail, they were professional and open to our ideas. During the wedding, they collaborated with our photographer and other vendors keeping my husband and me relaxed and comfortable. Post wedding, they kept us informed and up to date about the process of our wedding videos and what they were doing now. I, personally, was in happy tears with our highlight video and full edited video. Their work will forever have us in awe and keep us speechless. Ruth and her husband Gary are amazing to work with! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Hubby and I got married a year ago and I can’t believe I’m just writing a review now! After our same day edit viewing later on in the reception, many of our guests said they had no idea that we had videographers that day — Ruth and her team are ninjas! Here’s where your search for a videographer ends! Copy down their contact info and set up an appointment to see them. You will not be disappointed. From the moment we met Ruth, we knew she was going to be our videographer! She drove up a long distance just to meet us at our local mall so we can talk about possibly hiring her. We even offered to meet closer to her to make it more convenient but she was adamant on meeting us closer to where we were. We really appreciated that and it showed how professional she is. She greeted us with a big smile and really just eased us into the process and what kind of packages she offers for her videography. We were thoroughly impressed with her but you don’t have to take our word for it…. You can find all her work on facebook/Instagram/vimeo and you can tell that her teams work only gets better and better with each one. But other than me being super bias because my wife and I hired her and her team, lemme tell you what you really want to hear. 1. SUPER AFFORDABLE (keep that budget in check!) 2. We couldn’t have been happier with our SDE (same day edit) and are so excited to see our full edit soon! I have worked in post-production for years (yes, over 2 decades) and Jorge really gave time to look for the best wedding videographers that he thinks would fit my standards 🤨😆 . Then, he showed me Sky Cinema’s reel and asked me to sit down and give time to check on them. When I saw just the first video he played, I knew they know what they're doing and told Jorge ”this is our videographer”. My eyes were trained for years to see which is beautiful and fits for airing that’s why it's easy for me to know what I like. Jorge then presented another videographer, after a few seconds of watching, I told him ”I like the sky cinema, please let’s get them. I don't care if I don't have a photographer, MUA, or even eat at a cheap restaurant ... I can sacrifice all of the other vendors but not the videographer” so we hired them. My first conversation over the phone with Ruth made me feel that we knew each other for long and made me feel even better. Every time I texted Ruth of my queries, she explains them very well and at times that I felt bad on another issue, she recommends something better so I need not worry. I know we have found the right team and we're so blessed that sky Cinema was available on our wedding day. Our first meeting, she helped us with random suggestions for us to consider. It was basically getting to know your type of meeting. Then I always text her and she always gets back with a suggestion and even recommends other vendors. They always make us feel better in everything, where to meet, which shot is better, etc. They’re very professional and at the same time you could feel how they are passionate about their work. I just so love them! They made us feel comfortable during the shoot. Worth every penny! Also, one thing that sets them apart from other vendors ... They are also couple who knows the feeling of getting married that’s why it's easy for them to make couples happy. It’s over a week now and that’s how fast time flies, watching the Same Day Edit really brings me to the day of the wedding. I kept on telling Jorge that I want to get married again after watching haha! He said yes! So, Ruth... be ready. To Gary and Ruth... Sky Cinemas was extremely responsive, patient in answering all my questions, detailed in their planning process and helped to make my day a breeze. I wish I could get married over and over again only to have them record. My SDE for Instagram was AMAZING and everyone said it looked like a movie. My jaw dropped to the floor as I was watching the same-day-edit (SDE) video with my wife and our family and friends right next to us on the stage of the venue. Everyone's eyes were glued to the screens. I couldn't believe how they did it, especially with all the outrageous requests from my wife. But they did it amazingly and on a very restrained schedule. Did I mention these guys just came overnight from another wedding in another state and they barely had any sleep? Ruth was hesitant to take the job when we spoke to her. We kind of had to beg her to take the job and I'm so glad and grateful that she did. The SDE video was spectacular and it was one of the highlights during the evening. We and our family and friends were very impressed. We told her what we wanted in the video. We put our trust in her ability and artistic vision. Ruth and a team of Garry, Mickey, and John helped us to capture every moment on our special day. The team was very friendly, detailed-oriented, and efficient. I wish I could give Sky’s Cinema Films more than 5 stars! Ruth and Garry made our wedding day so easy for us. They were there every step of the day, even through the freezing cold and snow. They captured our wedding day beautifully! The videos were put together so well, and we have them to watch for the rest of our lives. SCF came as a recommendation to us from a friend and soon after meeting with Ruth we had to book them. My husband and I were blown away by their 2018 highlights film (we watched it like 10 times and showed everyone) as well as their actual wedding videos. There simply is no one like them. In having a few phone calls/Facetime calls with Ruth, my husband Brian and I felt so comfortable in having Ruth and Garry be our videographers for our wedding. Ruth and Garry truly listened to our vision and captured every single moment from our wedding and turned it into truly cinematic video content that we will have forever! All couples want a specific video and Ruth and Garry were able to create such a classic and elegant video that embodied our personalities perfectly! On the day of, Ruth, Garry and their third shooter John, came prepared, on time, and ready to create! Ruth and John were with me while I was getting ready and Garry was with my husband while he was getting ready. Ruth and John knew exactly how to work around the many people that were at my home getting ready and they were able to get right to work asking for our rings, invitation, jewelry, etc. Ruth even rode to the church with my dad and I and she was able to capture amazing footage! While at the church, Ruth, Garry, and John worked seamlessly with our photographer and knew exactly what to do and where to go! Having the drone footage was unbelievable and we are so glad that we chose to have that as a part of our package! While at the reception, we knew that Ruth, Garry, and John would capture amazing content, and they sure did! The Sky Cinema team created a BEAUTIFUL and fun-loving 30-second teaser as well as a STUNNING 6-minute video that blew us away!!!! Overall, Ruth, Garry, and John were so personable and wonderful to work with. We were so comfortable with them and knew that we made the absolute best choice possible and if we could do it all over again, we would not change a thing!

If you don't choose Sky Cinema Films as your videographer on your special day than you are making a COLOSSAL mistake. The videographer and photographer were the two things I cared most about because I wanted to ensure we captured the memories of the day. I compared tons of companies and Sky Cinema came out on top in all categories (quality, cost, customer service, etc)...they exceeded all my expectations. Ruth was the easiest person to work with answering all my questions (and there were many) in a timely manner. On the day of the wedding they were so easy going and made all of us feel so comfortable. WOW! Where do I even begin?! My wife and I knew we wanted videography for our big day, especially with a SDE (Same day edit). I will admit... I am a groomzilla. I scoured the internet and went through 70+ videographers. I had email exchanges with them all and must have watched hundreds of wedding videos. Sky Cinema Films exceeded all our expectations for a wedding videographer. Ruth was actually the editor for our Maid of Honor's wedding video so when we heard Ruth and Garry (her husband) were breaking off and doing their own thing, we scheduled a meeting right away. The meeting was very casual yet still professional and Ruth easily made us feel at ease about her abilities to capture our wedding day. We opted for the package with the Same Day Edit and Ruth did an amazing job capturing our day and tailoring it to our personality. As soon as I got engaged, and even before that, the videographer of my wedding was something I thought about. My cousin had a same day edit at her wedding in 2012 and it blew my mind, and ever since then, video and same day edits were something I loved and thought about. I actually always thought I would go with a specific company that my cousins had used, but plans changed and I was recommended to Sky Cinema. I began to watch their same day edits and knew this was the right fit. And now I sit here on my honeymoon, taking time off from my amazing new marriage to take time to express just how grateful I am for Sky Cinema-because they were that amazing and I just want to give them their praise- and convince anyone who was unsure why they are they best. From the moment we met, Ruth was attentive, responsive, and kind. She genuinely invested in us as a couple from the get go and answered any and all questions we had (and considering how neurotic I am, I had a lot). She took the time to get to know us. Couples all want different things - some want elaborate, over the top cinematography, others want simple and intimate. We had a very specific vision of how we wanted things to look, and Ruth took the time to speak to us in depth so she knew exactly what we wanted. On the day of, her, Garry, and their third shooter Mike were so great. They paid close attention to detail and did their best to stay out of anyone’s way. The photographers we work with aren’t the usual photographers that Sky cinema works with, but they worked hand in hand with them just the same to get the job done. Sure, my wife and I felt silly in some shots, but they knew exactly what they were doing. They also did a great job of making sure their work wasn’t getting in the way of us keeping to our schedule or enjoying our party. Ruth is a savant with her editing. I will never understand how she edits so beautifully and so quickly, but she does. When we sat down to watch that Same Day Edit at the party, after a night that we enjoyed so much and thought couldn’t get better, the video escalated our wedding to another level. Many of my wife’s side had never seen an SDE and were blown away, while even though my side has seen many, ours immediately jumped to the top of the list. And we can’t wait for the final cut!!!! I could go on and on for hours about Ruth, Garry, and their entire team. But I’ll end with this: when your wedding is over, if you’re like my wife and I, you’re going to want to relive it and bask in it. And if you choose Sky Cinema, you will be so grateful that you did. Where do I begin? First of all clearly Gary and Ruth do amazing work by looking at their videos, but they are also the NICEST people you will ever meet. My wedding was 5/5/18 in Mendon, MA and they traveled all the way from NJ to film for us. Ruth was so easy to communicate with and we were able to figure out all the details and timeline for the day of to make the day stress-free. The wedding day was amazing. You didn't even know they were there. They really know their stuff!! I still look at my video and can't believe how many angles and shots they got - you would honestly think there were 10 videographers filming. After the wedding, Ruth and Gary were very quick at getting our video back to us and it was BEYOND our expectations. I can't tell you how many family members and friends reached out to us and said how it was the best wedding video they have ever seen. It really is like a movie and every aspect of the day is captured perfectly. I can say I was hesitant about having a videographer when I was wedding planning and I am SO grateful that I did. Your wedding goes by in a blink of an eye and is so overwhelming that you feel like you don't remember half of it! Ruth and Gary beautifully presented all of the most important parts of our wedding day on our Same Day Edit. They have a great eye for picking out the strongest moments and touching little details. First of all finding a videographer for me was tough, being the photographer that I am I wanted all details captured, we wanted to relive every single moment. We requested some shots that Ruth and her husband captured just how we asked, we wanted so much for this day and got so much more back!!! Sky Cinema Films are very passionate about their work and they treated us as if we are part of their team-we didn’t have to worry about anything! And if you are second guessing if you need a videographer team—DON’T! You need it, you will want to see and hear every single thing that will happen during the most important day of your life!!! We had the pleasure of booking Ruth as we heard she had started her own company as she was once a part of MPW. We had seen her work before, as she has done many of our family and friend's weddings year before ours. It was imperative that we booked her right away, just because we knew of the quality of the work she does and how amazing her same day edits are. Working with Ruth was so easy especially since we ended up booking her within 4 months prior to our wedding. She made the entire process stress free, given the short amount of time, and we were lucky she was still available for our wedding date. The day of the wedding Ruth, Gary (her husband), and Mickey did an amazing job. They made shooting with them very easy, fun, and nothing was forced in order to 'get the right picture/shot', which you can tell in our same day edit. Their drone footage was also amazing people could not believe the shots that were taken with it. Everything came out great, and when it came to the same day edit that they premiered to our wedding guests, I am pretty sure everyone's jaw dropped. They were able to capture the every moment, and honestly capture the raw emotion behind it. We cannot thank Ruth, Gary, and Mickey enough as they captured "our wedding", and it's something we'll always have to remember. You will not regret having Sky Cinema Films as your videographer!

Ugh.. I can’t thank Sky Cinema enough for the AMAZING job they did on my winter wonderland wedding!! They took a huge risk flying their drone mid snow fall and it was so worth it! Amazing shots getting ready, ceremony, & party!!!! They captured every moment and gave us a gorgeous surprise “teaser” to be played at our reception.
