I couldn't recommend Sky Events enough. Very polite, professional and fast in responding to any of our questions. We felt very confident partnering with Skylar after our first conversation and he exceeded all of our expectations. He created an energetic atmosphere that kept our guests dancing, even our shy friends were grooving! Our wedding wouldn't have been as fun as it was if he wasn't for Skylar. We highly recommend using him for any kind of event, especially for a wedding! Thank you again Skylar!

Skylar was wonderful with follow up and getting back with any and all questions! He was easy to work with :) He can make a playlist for you or you can give him your own ... and make sure you tell him what songs are necessary for you and your guests :)

Everyone who attended my wedding had 1 thing to say: It was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding and the major reason was the DJ. From the moment we walked out onto the floor as husband and wife, the music was perfectly curated to get people dancing and enjoying their time. There were no awkward pauses or confusing moments because the musical queues helped dictate to guests when it was time to eat, slow down and listen, and of course: DANCE. I am so lucky to have had the best DJ ever for my wedding. Six months later, everyone's still talking about the fun they had on the dance floor. Thank you Mithcell and Skylar!

We loved working with Skylar for our wedding! He was very prompt with emails and even did multiple phone calls with us to make sure we were all on the same page. On the day of the event he was very professional and made the night super enjoyable with all the music he played. He made sure to play any song someone requested. I would recommend Skylar to anyone looking for a DJ.

I want to give an honest review. I gave three stars because up until the wedding, Skyler was very prompt in responding to my emails and I did like the music he chose for dancing. The issue I had I didn’t realize until watching the raw video footage from the videographer. The wrong music was played for people in my wedding party. The music stopped abruptly While my bridal party was mid aisle and change to a different song. That happened with the groomsmen and the officiant as well. Watching the video, it felt so awkward in the room. The other issue was that when we were being introduced as Mr. and Mrs. for our very first dance, he called my husband by the wrong name. It was a name similar but it was still not my husbands name. When I confronted Skylar, His only response was thank you I’ll take this into consideration. I thought at the very least he would apologize but he didn’t until I had to point out that was all I was looking for

I am so grateful to have found Sky Events for our wedding. Skylar was so more than a DJ. From the very beginning, working with him took so much stress off the day - he is organized, professional, and supportive - offering advice and taking every last minute request we threw at him - he was so attentive I was able to communicate with him at a glance and he would make adjustments on the spot (like seamlessly ending the Hora when our Hora-ers were about to throw my 100 year old grandfather in a Chair). He played music for our ceremony and reception, and also provided uplighting and a photobooth, and I know he was a huge support working with the venue and our day-of coordinator. Everyone had an incredible time, and the pictures from the dance floor are some of my favorites from the whole day.

We appreciated Skylar's professionalism throughout our 62-person wedding planning. He was detail-oriented and made efforts to stay close to our intentions for the day. He managed song support without incident across our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, including introductions of multiple individual events (e.g., wedding party introductions, mother-son dances, cake cutting, various speeches). He also listed our prior song recommendations (and blacklisted ones) while adapting to needs throughout the dance party. We believe he could bring his showmanship skills to events of any type or size.

From the beginning, Skylar and Mitchell were super welcoming and happy to listen to our needs and concerns for our wedding ceremony and reception. Despite multiple postponements due to covid, they remained flexible and professional. They were very helpful with finding out the types of music we wanted and knowing the songs we wanted to be played. In addition, Skylar was super helpful with helping us understand how we could design the wedding reception. He gave advice on timing and lent his expertise to hosting a fantastic event. Finally, the team was phenomenal on the day. Great on the microphone, awesome on the DJ Table and beautiful on the violin during the ceremony. We couldn’t have been happier with how they contributed to making our dream wedding come true!

I highly recommend Sky Events! We worked closely with Skylar who was a great DJ, super talented! Skylar made the day run smoothly and was great to work with leading up to the day! Everyone had a lot of fun and spent lots of time on the dance floor! We also had a second DJ that ran the photo booth which was really fun for our guests! It was really clear that both DJs had a lot of experience and were very professional!

Skylar DJed our wedding and did a fantastic job! He was very responsive via email, set up many Zoom meetings with us, and gave us a timeline to help us better picture the flow of our reception. We had a small mix-up with the father daughter dance, which Skylar immediately corrected before others noticed. He was full of energy the whole night, reading the crowd and playing songs to keep us dancing as well as honoring requests from guests. I would absolutely recommend him as a DJ!

DJ Skylar was a great choice for our wedding. He took the time to video chat with us several times during the planning process and got to know what we were looking for and the kind of music we liked. He even put together a super helpful timeline for the entire day and made sure everything went smoothly for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. My goal for our reception was to have everyone dancing all night and he did a great job reading the room and playing songs to get people moving. It was a little slow going at first (more so because of our guests, not Skylar), but by the end of the night, the dance floor was full of dancing and singing. Everyone had an awesome time!

The absolute best part of our wedding! We hired Skylar as the DJ for both our wedding ceremony and reception. He nailed every request from pre-ceremony, ceremony, introductions, announcements, etc. He was also very flexible when we had to change a few things up during the wedding. He kept all of our guests happy and dancing all night long! Very easy to work with and SO MUCH FUN!!!

Skylar was great! Good music, a couple of songs had people group dancing. The only down side was, he wasn't taking peoples song requests. I had to go up a few times to request songs for that person. Other than that, I recommend his DJ skills

DJ Sky helped make our wedding day SO special! Even though we had to cut our guest list from 190 to 21 because of COVID, he made it feel like the big party we originally planned. Before the wedding, he sent us Google Forms to get a sense of the music we like and he took all of our requests. One of the most important parts of the night was the dance with my Dad and DJ Sky announced that the song was from our favorite movie just as I asked. He made sure to play our favorite bands during dinner and even had uplighting that perfectly set the tone for the room. I can't recommend him enough for your upcoming wedding!

Skylar was our DJ for our wedding and he was beyond awesome!! He was professional and detail oriented to make sure the wedding was perfect! He listened to every request and came through on everything! He had such amazing energy and got everyone up on the dance floor! I couldn’t have imagined having a better experience!

Sky Events made our wedding! I am an Event Planner by trade and love to dance! When it came to planning my own wedding I wanted to make sure everyone was up and dancing ALL NIGHT. Sky Events did just that! They were phenomenal to work with from the planning phase to the night of when I made one last minute request. Skylar really knows how to read the room and get everyone up and dancing for all generations. All night, our dance floor was packed. During our entrances, we asked to have more of a sporting event announcement to really pump up the crowd, without skipping a beat, he gave us a sample of what he would say over the mic and it was EXACTLY what I had pictured. Skylar and Sky Events, aren't just DJ's. They are there to make the the whole mood, feel, and night everything you dreamed of. I can't thank them enough! The best part is that they are affordable! People are still stopping to tell me how much fun they had at our wedding because of the music!

Skylar and Mitchell recently DJ'd our wedding in September. They were professional, friendly, and AMAZING DJ's. We had a large wedding of over 250 people at an outdoor venue. They came on time, had everything they needed, set up exactly how we planned, even had uplighting and other props we didn't even know about, and played absolute JAMS all night! Mitchell even played the violin for our ceremony, bringing me to tears. The guys kept the dancefloor rockin' the whole time, played all our favorites, and best of all - we got SO MANY compliments on our wedding due to how much fun all our guests had on the dancefloor! Also - extremely reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and BOOK THEM ASAP. Thank you guys - you both were incredible! A night we'll always remember for sure!

I am eternally grateful for Mitch. Naz & I got married this past Saturday & had a party which hosted many people from our home country, in Argentina. Coming up with a music list was not easy, as it meant having cultural music from our country. Mitch held our hand throughout the process of creating a timeline that would work accordingly for the wedding, which in turn helped organize the rest of the events that would happen throughout the night. This was key for me as the bride, considering that a month before the wedding my life felt like a roller coaster, having a guide through this process was unequivocal, and Mitch was just that for us. His energy was uplifting, not only is he a great spokesman, but as well he can read a room perfectly- setting the moods high & low in just the right times. He was extremely professional, brought his own sound system, microphone, and lights. As well, we hired the photobooth he offered which was a huge hit. When the printouts run out there was an amazing option to email yourself the pictures taken. Naz & I will soon get a copy over email of every picture that guests took! I felt personally taken care of throughout the whole party, by the mere fact that I had to do nothing!! I only assisted and had the time of my life. Thank you Mitch, for making this night the most memorable time of our lives.

We couldn't have been happier that we picked Skylar to DJ our wedding. He made the entire process seamless for us. He was proactive in letting us know what we needed to decide on and when, letting us know some of the things that were typical of couples, but was also extremely flexible and made the event match exactly what we had in mind. Skylar's charismatic and outgoing personality make him perfect for this type of work. Every person we've seen since the wedding has commented on the fact that they've never seen a more crowded dance floor from start to finish! Book him early before someone else does!

I couldn’t be happier with Sky Events hosting and DJing our wedding day this past summer. Mitchell and Sklyer were professional and enthusiastic from the beginning. A week before our wedding, I had a lot of questions and made quite a few changes to our song selection as well as our timeline. Mitchel was super understanding, accommodating of my requests, and even provided me with some good ideas about song choices. He was always available and quick to reply to my emails and calls. Their energy and choice of music more than exceeded our expectations. Their ability to incorporate both old school jams and current hits kept our guests on the dance floor ALL night!!. They were such a big hit that at the end of the night my guests were chanting “ONE MORE SONG! ONE MORE SONG!” I have to say it was an epic ending to our amazing wedding day. I highly recommend their services!

This talented duo - Mitchell and Skylar - put on an absolute show stopper for my wedding! They are true professionals in the business. My wedding was a bit different in that I wanted to incorporate some Albanian music and traditions - Sky Events did not disappoint. They went above and beyond in meeting my personal requests and kept the crowd (even those not familiar with certain traditions) on their feet and dancing the entire night. The skill it takes to be able to mix two traditions, American and Albanian, was not an easy task, and one that I can confidently say sets them apart from their competitors. We (as well as our guests) couldn't have been happier with our decision to hire Sky Events. I would highly recommend their service!

My wife and I hired Sky Events a few years back for our wedding, and we were truly impressed with their company. Sky Events team was THE BEST! My husband Josh and I are so happy we picked this crew to DJ at our wedding on 6/2/18. We hired a band as well so the combo was just perfect. People were up and dancing the entire night. We ended up staying at the venue for 3 EXTRA HOURS. DJ Mitchell really knew how to amp up our crowd. 100% will recommend Sky Events again and again. Our guests still can’t stop raving about the music and how much fun they had :) Thank you!

Sky Events made our wedding all we could want and more . They were accommodating and were great with on the fly changes. Skylar met with us personally and made sure we had everything we needed. Wedding planning can be stressful, but this was not the case with finding a great DJ!

I can't speak highly enough about Mitchell and Skylar who are both incredibly professional and fun! Sky Events did an amazing job as the entertainment at our wedding! They were a pleasure to work with and easy to talk to in the preparation process. We had a request to include both Russian and American music (young and old), and they were able to accommodate- selecting the perfect playlists. Our guests were dancing the whole night, and it was definitely the highlight of our wedding. Recommend this dynamic duo for sure!

Sky Events is who you want to DJ your wedding! When we were planning our wedding we reflected on past weddings we had attended and we just wanted to get right to the dancing and thats what we got! We had Skylar as our DJ and everything from start to finish was professional and exceptional. My husband and I met up with Skylar to talk logistics and about what we really envisioned for our day a little before the wedding. We were sent forms to fill out via email and it was all super user friendly. We were able to specify all of the lists (definitely play, do not play, cocktail hour, everything!) Skylar arrived right on time the day of the wedding and had a smooth set up. We even had a last minute song change. We were lining up to get introduced after cocktail hour and changed the intro song maybe a minute before he got on the mic. Seriously, Sky Events is who you want for your big day. Skylar was flexible, listened well to us, understood what we wanted for our wedding night.
