We hired Ngoc to assist with planning our wedding 5 years ago and have no regrets! She was attentive at every meeting with us. She listened to our vision for our wedding and executed it well as we wanted simple elegance. Ngoc also has great wedding industry contacts and we felt we got the best deals and hired genuine people who love what they do. On the day of the wedding, we were so impressed with her staff and how put-together everyone looked as well as their communication. One of my bridesmaid's dresses had a zipper malfunction and Ngoc was there to sew the dress and take care of the situation which could have been a disaster! In our culture, the bride has several dress changes and I felt that each transition was smooth and effortless. We got so many compliments from family and friends on how organized our wedding was. People felt our wedding had the right momentum and flow. Several years later, I was able to experience Ngoc's team again at one of my best friend's wedding and I was again impressed with her staff. Her lead was attentive and always checking in with the bridal party. Her assistant, had a kit in case of any mishaps which of course some bra tape was needed! I also had to give a MOH speech and her team e-mailed me a layout of the reception prior to the wedding so I could visualize what it would look like and where I could stand which helps immensely with one's nerves! It was a gorgeous wedding. Thank you Skybox, Ngoc and team!

Ngoc from Skybox is amazing! Our wedding day was beautiful thanks to Skybox. There are so many details to a wedding and it was a tremendous help to have her expertise, enthusiasm and creativity throughout the planning process. Our meetings with Ngoc always helped to alleviate our stress and on the day of the wedding, we were able to fully enjoy the day because we knew that Skybox would make sure things ran smoothly. When I first got engaged, I wasn't considering hiring a planner. A friend encouraged me to meet with Skybox and the rest is history! They are extremely organized and every one on their staff is amazing. We hired Skybox to assist with contract negotiations with vendors along with their mid-range package. But they threw in so much more value added service. I loved their attention to detail, and no matter whether you have an exact idea of what you want or you are completely clueless, Skybox will assist in developing your ideas and turning them into reality. The HUGEST value to hiring Skybox is PEACE OF MIND on the wedding day. I was completely relaxed and didn't have to consider any of the details myself. On the Big Day, you will have in attendance your main Skybox coordinator and two additional assistants. This is CRITICAL because one person always stays with the Bride, your main coordinator handles logistics, and the third as a backup to assist with anything else. If you are super busy like my fiance and I were and do not have time to research tons of vendors, Skybox will assist with recommending amazing vendors and providing several options until you find something that meets your needs and suits your taste. I Loved working with Skybox and encourage anyone who is considering working with a coordinator to at least meet for a free consultation (They also plan other events!)

We had hired a wedding consultant who helped us map our wedding details from start-to-finish, she was unable to join us for the actual wedding day/month to help us execute it. Due to a price war between my husband and myself, we ended up going with Skybox Productions ($2,500 less than the first choice). The majority of the details were already fine tuned, we purchased the items we needed, secured the vendors we needed and created our own invitations, guest cards, etc. The initial meetings were good and promising. As the weeks and days got closer to the event, there was definitely a shift in service. The information that the initial coordinator was regurgitated and given to us in Ngoc's format. There was no added value to us. Everything was handed over to them and was sent back to us with the same content in a slightly different format. Not only was there tension with working with Ngoc, she did not show up on the day of our event. She left before we even got there. Her staff was extremely rude to us on our wedding day. Glares from the hired staff on your wedding day. Two cases of alcohol completely disappeared, she was not there and her assistants did not help us trouble shoot the missing cases. Ngoc has never apologized to me for her not being present at our event, which she promised in our initial meetings. What an experience. What's even more bizarre is that I'm a designer and and now she's following me, ailenemichel, on Pinterest, reposting my links on her page. Ladies, fight for what you believe in and there is something to be said about gut-instinct. Saving a few dollars is not worth it if the chemistry and mutual respect with any of your hired contractors aren't there.
