About this vendor
Hii! I'm Skylar and I'm known for my laid-back personality and always having a smile on my face! My ultimate goal on your wedding day is to make the photography side of things a calm, relaxed experience while getting the best photos possible on your wedding day. I take a documentary approach to your wedding day, meaning I photograph every moment, happening, and detail that I can, but I will pose moments that need to be posed (like wedding party, bride & groom photos, family photos). My editing style is on the vibrant and colorful side with golden tones shining through! I shoot weddings all across Colorado and in New Mexico, and would love to photograph yours!

ice and instructions on where the best place to propose was! She was a delight to work with and was so sweet throughout the whole process. The pictures turned out amazing and I feel like my money was very well spent!
We loved everything about Skylar and her work with our wedding day! She came from Colorado all the way to Vermont and was still totally organized and calm. I am obsessed with our p...

Skylar is the most thoughtful and warm photographer I've ever met. She effortlessly provides laughter and care throughout the wedding day, making it painless to take 700 million ph...
otographs. She knew when I needed a break because it was too much smiling and was open to more than just the generic photos. I so appreciated every thoughtful, caring and charismatic detail she brought to our special day. I could not speak more highly of her and cannot recommend her enough for all of your photography needs.
Choosing a photographer from out of state was challenging but as soon as we found Skylar everything shifted - in a good way. Skylar offers affordable services, is laid back yet con...
fident, and knows what to do and when to execute the plan. She is adventurous and up for a challenge (She hiked 10 miles total, up to 10,000 feet with us before the ceremony- WHEW! This is only for the fearless LOL), calm (every bride needs this), and pays attention to the details. I really have no critiques for her - she captured everything we wanted in our day. Also, nowadays, SO many photogs have this "moody" photo editing style, which I personally am not super fond of, so when I found Skylar I really loved how bright and happy all of her IG photos were. That was a HUGE selling point for me! I want to actually see what I'm looking at! She captured the adventure in our day, the heartfelt moments, and the laughter and silliness. But all with a super professional touch. We really lucked out with her. And like I said before, she was a BREEZE to work with even out of state - we only met her in person on the day of! Before that, we emailed a lot and did a phone call with her to walk through our plans, so great communication skills. She was so helpful in every way, she even went to scope out a few spots for us and sent all kinds of videos and pictures so we could see it in real time.
HIRE HER!! This is a no-brainer, guys!

tart to finish- super communicative, flexible, and encouraging. She did a fantastic job capturing us both individually and together as a unit, creating an easy and comfortable environment for the entire session. We are so in love with all the photos, and would absolutely recommend Skylar if you are looking for a photographer in the Colorado area!

Skylar is one of the biggest reasons I will look back on my COVID-era wedding with no regrets. After cancelling our large wedding in the Midwest, we chose to elope on Pikes Peak Hi...
ghway in Colorado in October 2020. I chose Skylar to capture it all because her portfolio of outdoor wedding photography was top-notch and I loved the warmth she brought to all her work. I so appreciated her advice prior to the wedding and gentle expertise throughout my entire elopement ceremony. She even drove the frightening road up to the 14,000 foot peak to get shots of us at the summit! I was absolutely thrilled with her work and speed in getting my entire gallery back to me. I will definitely be recommending Skylar to everyone I know and using her for any future sessions!

Planning a wedding in 2020 was no easy task, but Skylar helped to make the process so easy. Skylar is kind, understanding, and most of all talented. Her photos are STUNNING. I was ...
so excited to receive incredible previews the day after my wedding. I wish I could post one picture every single day because all of them are Instagram worthy. If you are getting married in Colorado, please hire Skylar. She is amazing and everything you could ask for in a wedding photographer.
I can’t stop staring at our wedding photos! Skylar has been truly the greatest person through all of the Covid-19 virus. She has been so flexible and helpful through many changes. ...
We were able to have her at our March ceremony and are looking forward to having photos with the rest of our family for our 2021 reception. The quality of her photography is amazing and it was such a blessing to have her kindness and support through everything.

s her willingness to travel to a place that was meaningful to us as a couple. She turned around teaser photos within a day, and sent me a huge album of photos so quickly! My fiancé and I love our photos, and our only issue is narrowing down our favorites!
Skylar is a dream to work with! From the moment we found her beautiful images during our search for our wedding photographer we just knew that she would make our dreams a reality. ...
What really set the tone for our experience was how professional she was in her communication. Her photography skills simply speak for themselves: the lighting, the poses (or lack there of where appropriate) and the editing ....all are so impressive. We enjoyed a fun engagement session which helped break the ice. By the time the big day came around we felt confident that Skylar would capture all the big and small moments of our wedding with beauty and a timeless feel while moving seamlessly throughout the day. While she brings youthful energy to a shoot, Skylar also brings professionalism that most develop after decades of experience. I can’t imagine having gotten married without Skylar and her work as part of the equation.
We just got our engagement photos back and I am so happy with the way they turned out! I seriously couldn’t be more pleased.

nice Skylar was and how at ease she made us both feel. She was great at directing us with what to do but made it fun at the same time.
I’m so happy I found her, as she exceeded all my expectations and made me really happy that we ended up getting engagement photos in the end, as I was on the fence about it.
I can't even express how AMAZING it was to have Skylar as our photographer. Before I get to her stunning work, I would just like to say Skylar was the most warm, welcoming, funny, ...
and sweet person to have in my corner on the big day. She made everything feel easy and natural. She is so easy to connect with, which really shows in her photos! She was wonderful to communicate with, always prompt and helpful. She got our pictures back to us in RECORD time! And her photos are absolutely beautiful. She has such a great way of capturing the best moments, but keeps them raw by not over-filtering/touching up the photos. She was everywhere capturing these moments but she was so at ease with her role that you never would have known she was there snapping away! She was very attentive to my now husband and I's insecurities and made sure to catch us in our best, most comfortable light. All of our guests, friends, and family have had nothing but positive praise for her work and presence at the wedding. She was extremely detail oriented and made sure to log all moments we were going to absolutely want captured before the day arrived. I will absolutely be staying in touch with her and using her unbelievably beautiful services for future photoshoots. Any bride (or party looking for a great photographer) would be extremely lucky to have her!
