Skyline at Waterplace is a waterfront wedding venue in Providence, RI. The setting offers both indoor and outdoor event spaces with a breathtaking view of the Renaissance City. As an all-inclusive venue, the onsite team will work closely with you during your planning process, to ensure all your details are accounted for.
Nestled on the Gateway, with a breathtaking vision of Providence River, Skyline at Waterplace boasts an elegant, sophisticated atmosphere throughout their event spaces. During cocktail hours, you and your guests can enjoy cocktails on one of the three terraces, while viewing the cityscape. The natural stone architecture, bridge entrance add to this natural backdrop, and makes an ideal location for visually rich photo sessions. Flame heaters are available outside, for you to enjoy the view well into the night. Their main indoor area features two separate reception areas that can host up to 200 people during romantic events. Custom lighting, crystal chandeliers, and glass doors surround the area, to create an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. Dressing suites are also available on site, for you and your wedding party to prepare for the altar in a luxurious environment.
The onsite team offers soon-to-be-weds an all-inclusive experience, and offer caterers, coordinators, and other services to turn your vision into a reality. Team member, Sean Connery, can work with you from start to finish during your planning process. With his extensive experience in the wedding industry, he can assist in budget analysis, design layout, and other elements needed to achieve a couple’s vision. Their in-house culinary team, bartenders, and servers will be present during your reception, to ensure everything goes smoothly for you and your guests. Fireworks, water-fire displays, and private gondola entrances are some of the options available to make your big day unforgettable.

ighway ramps. It also has its own ride road for guests to pull up to the venue, so no one is rushing to get out of the traffics way.
Another plus is we had a lot of elderly and handicapped guests, who had full access to the elevator that goes to all floors. These guests were so relieved when they heard there was an elevator.
There are multiple options on site if it rains. We unexpectedly had a lot of rain, and were able to switch from outside to under the tent. When it ended up pouring rain, we were able to switch to plan C and have it indoors. With the multiple floors inside, we were able to have the ceremony on one floor and reception on another. It was such a relief that last minute, the venue can accommodate ANYTHING unexpected.
My favorite part is that you have the option of choosing the colors of the lights on the floor! It really helps set the mood and you can match the colors to your decorations (not many decorations is needed with this venue by the way!)
The staff were amazing and when they were serving us, showered us with compliments and love. Also, with the venue you get a FABULOUS wedding planner Scott Connery. Our wedding honestly wouldn’t have been the same without him. He puts his heart and soul into your wedding as if it is his own, and his work shows. You WILL be missing out if you don’t choose skyline for your wedding.

We decided to have a very small intimate almost like a big dinner vibe for our reception due to medical reasons and let me tell you Skyline accommodated everything and then some for us. The food was amazing (we did a bunch of different stations) everyone there was raving about the food that it was the best they ever had at a wedding. The staff that night were incredible; the manager was there the entire night watching over us and anything we needed he never hesitated even if my wedding party needed something. They also stayed and helped me collect everything later in the night. My point is is that if you are looking for a wedding venue book Skyline, there is no need to look anywhere else trust me! The venue is stunning, the location is breathtaking as for a backdrop for your photos, the whole Skyline staff & crew are wonderful to work with, and I mean the food makes the wedding let's all be honest here! Would recommend Skyline to everyone and anyone looking for any type of function especially a wedding; if I could do it all over again Skyline would also be my only option.

ur wedding. Skyline was great for so many reasons. Scott is the absolute best, he was so helpful throughout the planning process and even helped us coordinate our ceremony which was not at skyline. We had our dinner on one floor and dancing on another floor which I was initially nervous about but it actually turned out to be so great. They had plenty of seating for people that didn’t want to dance and their outdoor balcony was a huge hit. We were lucky enough to have waterfire which made the night even more magical. The venue was so elegant and fun. The other great thing is they did not make us feel like we were just another wedding to get through. Scott really got to know us and was helpful with every little detail. I cannot say enough good things about skyline, it is absolutely worth checking out for your wedding! Not to mention it was one of the most affordable venues we looked at!

Scott went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we dreamed of and more. As if the beautiful view of the Providence skyline wasn't good enough, the inside of this place is absolutely gorgeous.
