We wanted a live band to make our wedding fun, exciting and to get everyone on the dance floor, making it a wonderful experience for everyone, and Skyline Drive Orchestra did not disappoint. They sounded fantastic, were very professional, played multiple genres of music and there were many compliments on how great the band was. Thanks you Mitch and Skyline Drive Orchestra, you certainly made our wedding memorable.

Mitch and his band were top notch, speedy with all sorts of communication and pulled off an amazing sounding wedding for Elizabeth and my wedding in NJ. Highly recommended and worth every penny!

We booked Skyline Drive Orchestra because of being friends with one of the bands singers, who is incredibly talented. Unfortunately he got COVID the week of our wedding, but assured me that we would still have the best band in town. He was not wrong. Skyline Drive Orchestra completely blew us away, and had literally 9 out of 10 of our guests asking us who they were and how they could book them for their next event. They were out in the crowd singing with us, sharing the mic, dancing; and it really was something special. The few requests I had (because they were spot on with what they were playing from start to end) were met immediately and were SO good. I really can't say enough good things about them and would highly recommend for any couples, you will not regret it.

THE BEST! This band was absolutely perfect for our wedding and would HIGHLY recommend. We got married on sept 4th and I had contacted them about nine months ahead of time. Their main POC, Mitch, answered every question I had sent them over the time leading up to our wedding almost immediately and had great communication. About a week before the wedding he called me to verify all details and even at the venue worked seamlessly with the staff to make sure everyone was on the same page. We received so many compliments of how great a party the band kept going. We had about 150 people and had a 7 piece band that was reasonably priced and a keyboardist for background music at our cocktail hour. Even during dinner there wasn't a moment without background music. Could not have been more pleased. My dad who also was a musician agreed they sounded tremendous. I don't think you will find much better in New Jersey for their variety of music, customer service, and pricing.

We just got married this weekend and I think out of 125 guests at least 100 came over to tell me how incredible the band was. Everyone was dancing the entire time. And they even learned a few special songs for me that made the night that much more special. Thank you Skyline Drive so much for giving me the wedding of my dreams!

As two musicians who were getting married, we had really high standards for our wedding band. I can’t begin to describe how over the moon we were with Skyline Drive Orchestra. The dance floor was full the ENTIRE night and every single guest was gushing over the band. We had so many other couples ask us to forward their information so they could book them for their own weddings. I seriously can’t recommend them highly enough.

I have not stopped hearing from everyone about all the music- THANK YOU SDO! We had so many people excited for all the music choices in the ceremony, the cocktail hour, our surprise choices to walk down the aisle, and the way the party was HOPPING in the reception. SDO was incredible and I cannot thank you all enough for the awesome tunes, professionalism, and expertise, and peace of mind knowing my guests were well entertained Truly appreciate it!!!

Book this band! My fiancé and I booked Skyline Drive Orchestra for our July 3 wedding and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. Leading up to the wedding, we worked with Mitch to book the band and finalize the details. Mitch is a 'salt of the earth' type of person. He is kind, approachable and honest. His transparency immediately put me and my fiancé at ease, and his enthusiasm got us excited about the band and our big day! When the day finally came, Skyline Drive Orchestra DELIVERED. Oh man did they deliver! To start, every person in that band is clearly an expert at their craft. The horns brought the energy and played off of one another - which was so much fun to see! The vocalists interacted with the audience and hit notes that literally caused a few dancers to stop and stare in awe. Everyone in the band brought an energy that kept guests out of their seats and on the dancefloor! It's already been a week since the wedding and I'm still getting texts from friends and family about how great the band was! Skyline Drive Orchestra also expertly managed the flow of the evening. The band transitioned between energetic songs that got everyone on their feet and more relaxed, romantic tunes. They also filled the time between takes (e.g., dinner, dessert) with lovely background music for guests to enjoy. I truly can't thank them enough for such a wonderful evening! Seriously people, book this band.

There is nothing like a live band! We hired Mitch and Skyline Drive Orchestra as an 11 piece band complete with a horn section. They played throughout our reception and kept people on the dance floor for literally the entire night (seriously- the floor was never empty). Their lead singers are outstanding and their horn section is something special! They have a great assortment of music that satisfies all ages of people. I am so glad to have had them at our wedding and I would book them again in a heartbeat!

We first connected with Mitch Herzog and the Skyline Drive Orchestra at a Bridal Show at the Madison Hotel. After hearing a sample of their repertoire, my husband and I knew we had to have them at our wedding! Mitch and his team were so professional and added so much to the wedding of our dreams! Mitch is extremely responsive to all questions and really gave us the royal treatment as far as music. The band was very engaging and kept everyone on their feet the whole night! They played a whole array of genres that had all of our guests moving and grooving. If you're between a band and DJ, look no further than the gang at S.D.O.! They will not disappoint. Guests have told us this was the best band they had ever heard; truly remarkable!

We first met Skyline Drive Orchestra at my husband’s cousin’s wedding two years ago. That was my first time seeing a live band at a wedding, and what a different feel that was! After seeing them perform at that wedding, my now mother-in-law hired them for our wedding and of course we were thrilled!! On the day of our wedding, they were more amazing than I remembered. Our guests loved the diverse mix of music: current, oldies, everything in between. Even my grandmom (who says she hates weddings and all the fuss) loved the music and was on the dance floor! Honestly, the music was SO good, it was so hard to leave the dance floor! We wanted to go around to each table to greet our guests but they were all on the dance floor! Everyone was up and dancing (and especially loved the sax). My now brother-in-law was Mr. Twinkle Toes, which is sooo uncharacteristic of him! It was great to see everyone have a great time, and all thanks to an amazing wedding soundtrack and fabulous singers! The members of the band were great to work with all throughout the entire process. Mitchell was always quick to reply to my emails and answer my questions, and Doug was very attentive to us during the wedding, including asking us if the music was too loud during dinner (so thoughtful!) Hands down would recommend Sky Line Drive Orchestra for anyone’s wedding. Great energy, great musicians, great singers, great time!!

Hiring Skyline Drive Orchestra to play at our wedding on November 3rd, 2018 was probably the greatest decision that my wife and I have ever made together! Words cannot describe the energy that a live band will bring to your celebration, and this group is absolutely unmatched in their class. The breadth of their talent—the diverse range of vocals, exemplary instrumental capability, and sincere passion—allowed them to keep the party going all night long! Whether young or old, classic or contemporary in taste—every guest was enthralled and left with a lasting impression that this was some of the greatest musical entertainment they had ever experienced (and they continued to say so for weeks). Those who like to dance had to be herded away; those who don’t typically dance, got out there and did so anyway! In short—if you have a pulse, you will love this performance. Planning a wedding can get stressful—after meeting Mitch and seeing the group’s sample, we knew that we would never have to worry about the music, and that was a great comfort. From the moment we walked into the cocktail hour to hear the piano serenade, through the final number and a full dance floor hours later, we were continually impressed by how much Skyline Drive Orchestra had exceeded our already high expectations. My only hope is that we will see them again at a wedding in the future—hire them for yours, it will be the most important vendor decision you make!

This band ROCKS. Many people told me that our wedding in early July was the best one they'd ever been to. I am absolutely certain that this was thanks to the band. We literally couldn't get people off the dance floor. At one point, I just looked over at my new husband and we both mouthed in utter amazement "JAZZ FLUTE?!?!" because the saxophonist also kills it on the flute. It was such an unforgettable party. I also loved working with Mitch, he was just so nice and accommodating. We were out-of-state, so his willingness to meet with us at our venue helped a lot. If you are on the edge about booking, get off!! Don't deprive yourself and your guests of The Skyline Drive Orchestra ;)

There aren't words to express how incredible Skyline Drive Orchestra was at our wedding reception. They kept the party going the entire evening and had everyone on the dance floor until the very end. My husband and I work in the music industry and had musicians and promoters in attendance who all agreed that this was the best wedding band they had ever heard. I would recommend them to everyone and hire them again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our reception so memorable!

Skyline Drive was absolutely incredible at our wedding. Mitch answers emails very quickly, and worked with us to get the cost in line with our budget. They played amazing music all night and really got the party going on the dance floor. The band also learned a song at our request for our first dance, which meant a lot to me. All of our guests keep telling us how much they loved Skyline Drive at our wedding. If you want your wedding to be a really fun dance party, look no further than these guys.

This band is great!! Our dance floor was packed from start to finish and guests are still telling us how great the band was! We wanted a lot of Motown and the band definitely delivered! Mitch was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. We always felt like we were in good hands. Would definitely recommend this band to everyone!!

BOOK THIS BAND!! They were AMAZING! Our guests raved about how great the band was, playing hits from every decade to accommodate every guest's taste ! The dance floor was full the entire evening as we grooved to hit after hit. We had a 9-piece band and it looked and sounded amazing (though not completely deafening that you couldn't hold a conversation. The band followed the songs we requested and made sure that our first dance, mother/son dance, and father/daughter dance, were arranged perfectly. Once again, there is nothing like having a live band at the wedding and the Skyline Drive Orchestra is the way to go!

Mitch and the band were truly amazing! They played for my daughter’s wedding at the Metropolitan Room at the Newark Club. Mitch was extremely confident when he made his promises and assured us that the band would be fantastic. Not only did he deliver on every promise he made but he exceeded all expectations! The band was professional, loaded with talent and kept the dance floor full the entire night. Mitch was easy to work with and really removed any stress we could possibly have when it came to music for the celebration. If you are thinking of hiring a DJ stop and get the Sky Line Orchestra. Let me put it this way. if you don't hire Skyline Drive Orchestra to play at your wedding, you're making a huge mistake. This band is amazing! My wife put me in charge of the music and since I come from a pretty musical family I was very particular about what I wanted. Whenever I spoke with Mitch he assured me his group could play what I was asking for. I probably was a pain, but I knew what I wanted and this band delivered. From jazz to Jay-Z they nailed every single song. My best man speech was a song and they played backup on the fly which was so cool. The singers were outstanding and smooth and funny when they saw something happening on the dance floor. The horn section was loud and really gave the band that extra *pop*. Mitch made sure there was always some music being played and they did the right stuff at the right time to keep everyone dancing. They knew my favorite song, Rapper's Delight, and gave me the mic to rap and afterwards my brother a bass for a solo. I've never seen a band go out of their way like that. This band knows how to party. They know how to get people involved. They've forgotten more music than I'll ever know. And from start to finish, working with Mitch was a breeze and made sure everything we wanted and needed happened. Skyline Drive Orchesta is the reason everyone said my wedding was the best they've ever been to! BOOK THEM!!

What can I say, the Skyline drive orchestra is amazing, they far surpassed any expectation my husband and I had of a wedding band! From our entrance they knew exactly how to read the crowd and kept the energy going all night long. They learned our first song Rob Thomas Little Wonders, and played so beautifully, I started crying and told my husband right there while dancing "the band was so worth it". Mitch was so easy to work with from start to finish. We gave the band a few songs we wanted to hear but for the most part left it up to them for song selection, which I would recommend, much less stressful on your end. I especially liked how they organized the dances and time of speeches, they were able to break everything up in a way that guests never felt like they were sitting for too long. We had the Skyline Drive Orchestra play for our wedding and they were fantastic! Everyone was up on their feet dancing the entire time! The bandleader, Mitch, is one of the nicest and most humble guys you could work with and he goes out of his way to make sure your party is a success. Not only are they one of the best bands around, they are also the most affordable. Every member of the band is more talented than the next and you won't miss hearing the "original" songs one bit. Skyline Drive Orchestra dazzled our wedding on May 31, 2014 in NYC. The band was high energy, professional, and so talented -- we've only received rave reviews, and all guests spoke about how Skyline Drive Orchestra made the party! My parents met Mitch, the band leader, at a bridal event and gave me the DVD to review. The sound was incredible. Throughout the planning process, Mitch was so helpful, made recommendations, and was very responsive. We used Skyline Drive for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music (pianist), and then 9-piece band for the reception. The musicians learned at least 3 new/special songs for our wedding -- and played continuous music throughout the reception. And the volume of the music was perfect (so often I've heard that wedding reception music can be too loud). The band played appropriate music during meal times (soothing/jazz-type music) and knew when to get the crowd dancing! In fact, all guests were on the dance floor a few minutes into the reception. Mitch and the band kept the party going all evening and showed an impressive and eclectic mix of music, which catered to guests of all ages and music preferences (I never gave any "set list" or genre, since I trusted Mitch, and it was perfect). Wow! We had such a great night thanks to the band. They got everyone up dancing, and we got so many compliments on the music! Mitch was great to deal with- friendly, professional, and laid back. He was always quick to respond to emails and played exactly the type of music we requested. The band even learned new songs for our special dances, and they performed them beautifully. This band was more reasonably priced than others we looked at because they are not run by a big company. I highly, highly recommend them to anyone!

I would highly recommend Skyline Drive Orchestra for any wedding! Mitch and the rest of the band were extremely professional, respectful, and, most importantly, fantastic musicians! They never stopped playing and did a tremendous job in changing pace throughout the night (i.e. dance songs/dinner songs). Being a musician myself, it was extremely important to me and my wife to hire a band that understood the importance of dynamics/volume control. Not once did we hear from anyone that the band was too loud, which tends to be a common complaint from guests at weddings with live music. Mitch and the band kept the party going and displayed an impressive and eclectic mix of music, which catered to guests of all ages and music preferences. The band was also very open to learning songs that were not apart of their usual repertoire. Mitch was easy and fun to work with and made sure that our special day had a wonderful soundtrack. I was just about to put a deposit down and asked Mitch if there were any showcases coming up. His response was, "Showcases are pathetic". Also, he told me that my hour and a half cocktail hour "didn't make sense" and that he never heard of a ceremony being 2 hours before the reception. In addition, he made a few other comments that really turned me off so I decided to pull out. He should learn to treat his potential clients with a little more respect.

I was married June 2, 2012 at The Madison Hotel in Morrisotwn, NJ and we had Skyline Drive play at our wedding and I can not have been more pleased!! We met with Mitch a few times and he made the entire process so smooth we really felt like we were in good hands. We had music played during our ceremony and it was AMAZING, at cocktail hour we had a baby grand piano play again it was beautiful and helped create such a romantic mood. During our reception the music was constant, there was always somebody playing. Some bands wanted to play an Ipod or a cd during 'down time' but I thought after spending all of that money, it was a crazy thought! The dance floor was always packed and people have not stopped raving about the band! This is a must for you wedding, take my word!!

We did not end up booking them because we found another band who gave us a better deal so I cannot comment on them as a band. However Mitch was very pushy throughout the entire negotiating process, and kept threatening that he had another person hoping to book them, insinuating that I better hurry up and make a decision. When I wrote him a polite email explaining that we went with another band, he wrote back the most nasty, rude email that I have received. I was actually shocked that someone who ran a business would talk to a customer this way. He acted like a spoiled kid who did not get his way. Also he does not punctuate correctly in his emails. The whole process seemed very unprofessional to me.

Words cannot describe how amazing Mitch at the Skyline Drive Orchestra were. That’s why we are anxiously awaiting all of the pictures from the dance floor! They played at our wedding at the Madison Hotel on June 9,2012. The band was a professional, extremely talented and fun-loving group that I’d recommend to anyone and everyone. They were so outstanding that the ENTIRE group (probably 160 people) were on the dance floor BEFORE THE SALAD WAS SERVED! Not too many bands can say that. Four thumbs way up from the newlyweds!! We had the pleasure of having Mitch and the rest of Skyline Drive play at our wedding on Saturday, November 5th, 2011 at The Madison Hotel. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. At one point the groom and I stepped out of the room to gaze in and NO ONE was in their seat! We highly recommend this band. They played oldies like twist & shout and contempory music too like Lady Gaga. Amazing bad which made an amazing night. We have been to many, many weddings and this band was by far the best. All of our guests said that was the best party they have been to and we have Skyline Drive to thank.

The Skyline Drive Orchestra played at our wedding at the Grain House at the Old Mill Inn. The band was incredible, not only did they sound amazing, but Mitch was nice enough to play a song for my five year old niece at her request. All our guests agreed the band was amazing. They kept the songs rolling one after another and had everyone on the dance floor. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band.

The Skyline Drive Orchestra played at our wedding reception, and I could not have been more pleased with their service and performance. The Band was flexible in terms of number of pieces (we had eight) and price (which was very competitive). They were also willing to learn the songs that we wanted to use for our introductions, first dance, and parent dance if they were not already in the Band's repertoire. Mitch was very responsive and easy to work with. Most importantly, the Band was energetic, sounded great, and had our guests dancing throughout the evening. We received many compliments from our guests about both the musical selection (we largely left it up to the Band to decide what to play) and the quality of the music. I highly recommend the Skyline Drive Orchestra.
