I’ve been a bridesmaid 8 times so my vision for my wedding morning was to have a very relaxed, VIP, in-salon experience. Skyline Salon delivered.
I was over-the-moon when I found...
out they were in my budget - as I decided to cover both the moms and bridesmaids hair and makeup for the wedding day. All of whom turned out stunning by the way.
Customer service was top notch from booking to trial to the wedding-day itself.
Artist and stylist, Mikiayla brought my bridal vision to life, enhancing my natural beauty more than ever before. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night, without being crunchy or cakey.
Book Skyline Salon for your wedding day, or any day. Looking forward to my next visit.
Made an appointment online for an ombre style with a cut. Monica was my hair stylist and said that we couldn't go as light as i wanted but reassured me that it wouldn't be yellowy....
. every other customer was given champagne but me. While getting my hair washed i saw that they actually were playing the movie "The Holy Grail" .. it was on mute.. so i got to hear monica and the other stylist taylor talk badly about other stylists.. 😒 When taylors client left she started talking about how her client left with yellowish hair in the back but "oh well. the client liked it." .. My "layered" cut left a lot to be desired. The blonde in my hair was yellow.. like i was assured it wouldn't be. Then the brown hair dye from her doing my roots was all over my face.😟 When i brought it up Monica said that it was due to my hair being in my face... all over the hairline and skin of my face. I then went to the front desk and paid the $340.. no problem. and requested for her to cancel my future hair appointment i had scheduled for the morning of my wedding in 12 days.. that i thought it wasn't professional to have a client walk out of your salon with that much dye on their skin/face. The front desk lady got rude and said thats just what happens when you get your hair dyed.. I said for $340 I don't believe that to be correct. She said for me to have a "nice" day.. Go ANY WHERE but here. unless you want to walk out like a mess...
They are great, and do an amazing job.
Dalton did an awesome job on my makeup and hair. I was so thrilled with how everything turned out. The bridal packages are a great option for brides needing highlights/cut, etc.
I've used Skyline Salon for personal haircuts and style before I decided to use the salon for my wedding day. It was always very great and my hair looked beautiful. But, Skyline ...
Salon had serious trouble with communication. I think the bridal coordinator quit, and the salon didn't find a full-time position for whoever it took over. In any case, the communication just wasn't there. I'd e-mail and wouldn't get responses back within a week - so I'd e-mail again or try to call. It seems when I would call though, it was hard to get a hold of anyone who I needed to talk to. I tried to pay multiple times, but getting the invoice letting me know how much I was going to owe was like pulling teeth and didn't get it until 3 days before the actual wedding. It just would've been nice to know how much I really was going to pay so I could properly budget for it. Also, when I went in to get my rehearsal dinner heat style (as it came with the package), they lost my appointment. I'd had it at that point, and the staff could tell, so they fit me in just fine. I was compensated for the lost appointment with a gift card to the salon - which I will happily use!
With all this being said, Lindsay did my hair and makeup and did a BEAUTIFUL job. We had a practice session, and even though the hair looked slightly different on the wedding day, it was still really beautiful. She knew what she was doing! I still love this salon and would recommend it to anyone, but it does need to work on communication.
I go to this salon to see Jackie for my hairstyling, so it was an easy choice to come here for hair and makeup for my wedding! I had my hair and makeup done along with my mother, m...
y (now) mother in law, and my two bridesmaids. The services aren't cheap here, but the people are amazing and our hair and makeup looked wonderful. I will continue to be a loyal, enthusiastic customer here.
This salon is such a great place to get ready. It provides a great atmosphere for getting ready and pictures. The staff is friendly and greets everyone. You are able to bring in...
your own food and drink. The sytlists have been published in mutiple magazines.
The only down part is they are a little unorganized when you are first booking. But once that is taken care of it is great.
Jamie did a wonderful job for my hair. Skyline did my hair for the wedding as well as a blowout for the rehearsal dinner. The Staff is great to work with and the ambiance is great....
They really will go the extra mile to make sure you like your hair and are having a pleasant experience
