Bandleader
Elliot Garland, the founder and music director of SkylineLights, has been playing weddings in the Philadelphia area for over 10 years. In addition, he is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles Pep Band and has worked with a variety of artists including Saleka, Lauryn Hill, John Medeski, Bakhiti Kumalo (Paul Simon), and Jef Lee Johnson. He brings his experience and love of performing to SkylineLights and has formed a band that encompasses his passion for people and live music.

If we could give 10000 stars we would! My family loves live music and I have a dance background, so having a great band was a must for me to fully party at our wedding. Skyline Lines hit it out of the park! From the very start, I felt connected to the band. We decided on their 8 piece band option to include horns, which I highly recommend.They did the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception for an amazing price! Eliot was absolutely incredible in working with us to make sure everything was just how we hoped. He collaborated with one of my friends who I wanted to have sing as I walked down the aisle, met with us multiple times to discuss flow and our play/don’t play list. He even went to the venue prior to the event to get the lay of the land and organized with our coordinator. SL learned a few songs not on their playlist at our request. Even more amazing, the week of our wedding my husband decided he wanted to do a 2 song mashup for his dance with his mom. The band put it together just a few days before and it was awesome! Truly above and beyond! My family has been to a lot of weddings and multiple people said this was the best band they ever experienced! The dance floor stayed full, the energy was amazing, I could not have asked for anything more! Thank you SL for making our day amazing!

SkylineLights absolutely amazed us and all of our wedding guests with their magical performances! They played beautifully during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. While we were planning our wedding, a great live band was one of our top priorities. And after meeting musician and band director, Elliott, we knew that we were in good hands. Elliot was extremely kind, organized, and professional throughout the planning process and worked with all of our ideas in order to make our wedding unique to us and extra special. They brought the energy and the dance floor was packed all night long. It was truly everything we could have ever dreamed of! Additionally, the band incorporated special requests from family members and threw in a few fun surprises. Our guests told us throughout the night and in the following days how incredible the band was and we couldn't agree more. We feel so lucky to have found SkylineLights and are grateful for all the attention, effort, and love that they poured into our big day. Thank you again to Elliot, the band, and crew for giving us wonderful memories that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives!

From the moment we first spoke with Elliot and the SkylineLights team, we knew we were in good hands. Their communication style was clear, kind, and open - they took the time to understand our vision and preferences for the music and entertainment at our wedding. The quality of their work was truly exceptional - they were thorough, prepared, organized, energetic, and most importantly, incredibly fun! When our photographer unexpectedly had to leave early, the band was quick to pivot and announce the cake cutting so she could capture that special moment for us. Elliot also checked in on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we stayed on schedule with the speeches. Countless guests came up to us to rave about how this was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding, and we felt so special to have SkylineLights perform on our big day. Elliot's kind and personable nature made us feel like close friends throughout the entire process. We cannot recommend SkylineLights highly enough - they truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable!

Skyline Lights rocked the house at our wedding in Brooklyn and got more compliments than the bride and groom. They have an extensive song list and they brought great energy throughout. Band leader Elliot was extremely organized and responsive and we cannot recommend him highly enough!

We had the BEST experience with Skyline Lights. From our first communication they were super helpful, professional, and easy to work with. Leading up to the wedding they made it so easy for us to be totally ready and on the same page. They played for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. During our reception my husband and I were just so totally blown away at how amazing they were. My friends and family that don’t usually dance were all dancing, we had so much fun. Our wedding would absolutely not have been the same without them. You can tell that they have been playing together for awhile and have really good chemistry. Several of our family and friends wouldn’t stop talking about how amazing they were and kept asking where we found them! I would 100% recommend they play at your wedding, they really made our reception special, memorable, and fun in a way that wouldn’t be possible without them! We couldn’t have made a better decision.

This band is the ultimate party band, playing a range of popular music from different genres. They were so incredible, and they had the dance floor packed with people by the second song! I absolutely plan to use them again in the near future.

Hands down the BEST! Due to the timing of our wedding and the fact that we threw our wedding together in a few short months, we had a small & intimate wedding. We were so lucky to have Elliot from Skyline Lights perform at our ceremony! He was incredibly easy to work with, offered a wide range of music selections and truly understood our vision! Not only did we feel he captured the soundtrack of our ceremony but our guests raved about his talent! We highly recommend this amazing band for your wedding day!!
