Absolutely ruined the best day of my life. He didn’t work with us till the week of the wedding even though we reached out multiple times in the year since booking. He was absolutel...
y disrespectful to my photographer, he trash talked one of our bridal party members, and he ruined the surprise of my dress to my partner. Ruined our ceremony exit, ruined our reception entrance, made us take awkward pauses, didn’t play a large portion of the songs we requested. Didn’t listen to anything we tried to say. I as the bride had to go around all night apologizing for him to my guest who absolutely hated him.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Mike, who truly exceeded all expectations. Not only did he provide incredible music and entertainment throughout the night, but he also ...
took on the role of wedding coordinator, supplied a fantastic Photo Booth, and provided stunning lighting for the venue. Mike's dedication and commitment to making our special day unforgettable were truly remarkable.
From the moment we started planning, Mike went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of. He was always available to answer our questions, offer guidance, and provide valuable suggestions. His expertise and knowledge in wedding planning made the entire process less stressful and more enjoyable.
On the day of the wedding, Mike truly shined. He seamlessly transitioned from coordinating the ceremony to keeping the dance floor alive all night long. The music selection was phenomenal, catering to the diverse tastes of our guests and ensuring that everyone had a great time. His energy and enthusiasm were infectious, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere.
The Photo Booth that Mike provided was a hit with our guests. It added an element of fun and excitement, allowing everyone to capture special moments and create lasting memories. The lighting setup that Mike created transformed the venue into a magical space, creating the perfect ambiance for our celebration.
What sets Mike apart is his genuine passion for his work and his commitment to making your wedding day truly special. He truly went above and beyond the call of duty, ensuring that every detail was taken care of and that our wedding was a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
If you're looking for a wedding DJ like Mike who will not only provide exceptional music but also act as a wedding coordinator, supply a Photo Booth, and create a stunning lighting setup, then I highly recommend him. Mike's professionalism, expertise, and dedication will make wedding planning less stressful and more fun. He is truly a gem in the wedding industry.
I would give this man 100 stars if I could! He was phenomenal! My wedding was so beautiful and perfect bc of him and his assistant Christina who I must say is as sweet as a button!...
They both work so hard and so great together. When he said he would make my wedding Rock! He meant every word. He played the most perfect songs at the most perfect times. With the exception of choosing just 2 certain songs I allowed him to be in full control and it was just crowd pleaser after crowd pleaser. I’m very sad it’s all over I’m actually gonna miss them. 🥹 Hire SkyMike and I know you will agree!
Skymike did exactly what I had hoped for at our wedding — kept the party moving and dancing all night long! He was easy to work with prior to the wedding & he knocked it out of the...

missed que, from beginning to end. He is professional and very easy to work with. Give him authority to "work your crowd" and your guests will have lots of fun. A DJ is not something to "skimp" on!
Sky Mike is not only an amazing DJ, but he is also a wonderful human and planner! He worked with me through the pandemic and planned/coordinated many aspects of my wedding. He is ...
very knowledgeable about everything wedding, providing many referrals to amazing vendors. As a DJ, he is a great hype man! He followed the crowd's mood, ensuring everyone was on the dance floor and having a good time! During the ceremony, he managed my ceremony music with ease and perfection. Everything went according to plan! He is very relaxed helping you stay that way, too, throughout the planning process and wedding. He takes the time to know you as a couple, so he knows what you truly want. I highly recommend him!

If you're anxious or unsure about hiring a DJ, or who to hire, put your fears to rest and hire Skymike now. Mike did a fantastic job at our wedding, and I recommend him to anyone w...
ho is considering hiring a DJ. Perhaps the most important thing about Mike is he recognizes that every wedding is different, and he will do everything in his power to deliver what YOU want, not what some other DJ thinks you should have. We didn't want a big "production" wedding, and we were nervous about hiring a DJ at all, after seeing so many bad wedding DJs. We also have eclectic music tastes, and our request list ran the gamut: Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Vampire Weekend, LMFAO, Bruno Mars, Gotye, Electric Guest, and George Taylor, to name a few. Mike not only worked them all in, but did so in a way that WORKED. The whole night was just one good song after another, and everyone had a great time.
Mike loves doing this job, and it shows. He can read a crowd and adjust his playlist on the fly, sticking to the style and personalities of the bride and groom, but also keeping touch with the pulse of the room. He kept the energy flowing from rocking out on the dance floor to low-key quieter parts of the reception and back all night. Mike is also a character, charmingly quirky with many stories to tell about the many weddings he's put on (all anonymous, he doesn't tell tales out of school). He was a pleasure to work with, particularly because he was inquisitive about and receptive to what we wanted, and did a lot of work above and beyond just to give us a better experience. Planning can be stressful, but after each phone call with Mike, we felt more relaxed.
The bottom line is Mike cares about putting on a good party for you and your guests, and he does so without calling attention to himself. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ, and we're so thankful that we found him and hired him. I promise if you hire him you'll be in good hands!
Skymike was absolutely amazing to work with! He is SO energetic and fun. He made sure our wedding was timed out and kept everything moving the entire night. I really can't say than...
k you enough! Our wedding was one big party and he accommodated all of our special requests/surprises. It was a dream come true thanks to Skymike!

l night. Mike went above and beyond to make sure we had a great wedding despite the issues. He is also your coodinator ladies and he is seriously available with any concerns, questions, or "fires" you may have and has solutions to EVERYTHING. I promise you will absolutely love him. He knows this industry and absolutely loves what he does. I seriously love him to pieces. Book him, you won't regret it, I promise!!

even created custom cuts for two of my songs! He provided the photo booth and uplighting for our reception as well. I highly recommend his services!
I chose Mike as my parents knew him personally and highly recommended him as a DJ for our wedding.
Little did I know that choosing Mike as our DJ ensured our wedding was a BLAST! ...
Everything went incredibly smoothly, and as I was walking through the reception hall I overheard someone say it was the best wedding they had ever been to - I highly credit the atmosphere and smooth transitions to wonderful Mike!
Mike was AMAZING! I can’t recommned him enough. Not only was he so attentive throughout the night, we kept in contact throughout the few months leading up to the event. The first t...
ime we spoke, we talked for an hour so he could get an idea about my vision for the wedding and my expectations. He delivered! And he was an excellent day-of coordinator. I literally had to do nothing the whole day and his day-of plan was on point and so much appreciated. I can’t recommend him enough. Know that he will take great care of you on your special day. He’s done so many weddings before and I’m glad we found him. Thanks so much, Mike!
My husband and I cannot say enough about how wonderful SkyMike was! He is fun, kind, prepared, and everything went off without a hitch! We were about to meet a few times before the...
wedding so that he could figure out the perfect music for our day! No set playlists-- no "typical" wedding music-- it was all PERFECT for our style and personality. He knew our venue and was prepared to help with timing and worked with our planner seamlessly. We HIGHLY recommend Mike, and will use him for any parties or events in the future!! THE BESTTTTTT!
Skymike literally made our wedding the BEST night of our lives! If I were to ever do it over again (HOPEFULLY NOT) I would choose him hands down.
SkyMike is the best EVER! From day one of hiring him, he stayed in touch every step of the way. He learned everything about me from my family to my music likes. The day of he went ...
way about and beyond. He put together parts of a special song for me to walk down the aisle. He basically coordinated the entire day for us from start to finish which was a huge help because we didn’t have a coordinator. We had a terrible disaster which held up the wedding but he rocked it while the guests where waiting and even kept us on our timeline that he took the time to make for us. He even brought us waters and made sure we were taken care of the entire night. Ladies and gents, you aren’t getting just a DJ with SkyMike....you’re getting the ultimate wedding experience
I wanted so badly to write a positive review, as I absolutely LOVED my other vendors. After careful consideration, I decided to share my review amongst the great ones, as I wanted...
others to be aware of our experience. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with SkyMike. To begin, he was very disrespectful to our day of coordinator. Furthermore, SkyMike interrupted my dad's speech TWICE. I very clearly stated that I did not want inappropriate music, as my three year old daughter and grandparents would be present, yet some of the music towards the end were far from appropriate. As many of my family members joke about now, the only thing missing was SkyMike's autograph at the SkyMike show.
Hello! Last year my daughter and future son-in-law decided to get married in August 2017. Their jobs kept them traveling, so I was the one doing most of the organizing. On my list ...
was choosing the DJ. Skymike was recommended to us. I chose him and it was a great decision! He and I met several times in person and talked on the phone a number of times. When my daughter and her fiancée finally landed in Houston a month before the wedding, Skymike was very flexible in scheduling time to meet with them and finalize the details. His enthusiasm and knowledge of “all things wedding” is awesome. The wedding went off without a hitch! From the ceremony at 6pm, to the “first” dances, the toasts, the speeches, the packed dance floor the whole evening, to the departure of the newlyweds at midnight to the song “Great Day for a White Wedding” by Billy Idol. (That was my only song request.) AHHHHH, what a perfect day! Thanks Mike.
Everyone at our wedding had shoes off and sore feet from dancing so much. Everyone told me Best. DJ. EVER. We loved him and he really kept the party going. He made sure he read how...
the crowd reacted and made adjustments accordingly. LOVED HIM!!!
SkyMike is so awesome! He knows how to throw the best wedding reception ever and he is super sweet! He was everything I ever wanted in a DJ!
Skymike Events in Houston rocked our wedding! He got family members up and having fun who never dance. Definitely worth the money!
From the second I emailed him, I knew he was the dj for us. He was AWESOME! He was readily available whenever I had questions, he was very prompt in his responses and knows his stu...
ff! What you get for his price.....you can't beat! I got so many compliments on how great he was at our wedding. People still talk about how fun he was and how they loved the fact that he was involved in the wedding rather than just there playing music. He took the time to get tot know our wedding party before the wedding through email and phone and he was in touch with all of my other vendors. He even played a very important role in my coordination, which was great because my coordinator ended up bailing on us the morning of my wedding. He went above and beyond what he was paid to do and I will never forget his kindness. He is much more than a wedding dj...he's a friend. I guarantee that this guy is what you are looking for if you're looking for a good price and a great dj. I would give him more stars but 5 is all they allow!
