We couldn’t have asked for a better band for our wedding! We originally had a different band booked for our wedding, but a few months before we were told they double booked and could no longer perform at our wedding. We were scrambling and a friend recommended Slippery Band. Somehow they were available for our date and came in and saved the day. It turned out to be a blessing disguise because Slippery Band was more than I could have imagined. From the very beginning, Chris was incredibly friendly, responsive, and organized, relieving all of my stress. Their communication was flawless, ensuring every detail was just right and answering every email right away. On the day of the wedding, they truly brought the energy! Not only did they sound amazing, but they knew how to work a crowd. They got everyone up and dancing, and the atmosphere they created was electric. Many of our guests raved about their performance, and it’s safe to say they made the night unforgettable. My husband and I are so happy that we decided to hire The Slippery Band for our wedding! We saw them play Live for the first time at a wedding showcase, and knew they'd be awesome. From our ceremony through to the reception, the band covered it all - music, intros, and quite literally rocking the house. The Slippery Band has a great set list and they were able to accommodate all song requests that we had. Chris is super easy to work with, and you can tell that the band has been together for years by the way that they perform and jive on the stage together. We had such a great experience that my sister and her fiancé decided to hire The Slippery Band for their wedding this upcoming fall! 5 STARS ALL AROUND :)

Slippery Band played at several of our family and friends weddings previously, and after experiencing their talent and FUN it was a no brainer to book them first as soon as we got engaged. First off, Chris is an absolute pleasure to work with - extremely organized, timely in his communication and thorough. We requested they learn three different songs not on their initial song list for our first dance and parent dances, and they were incredible! Learning Celine Dion and Maggie Rogers is one thing, but sounding arguably better than the original artists in another! After those dances they had EVERY wedding guest up an dancing and having the best time. They played everything from current pop to oldies and rock and had something in their repertoire to please everyone. This band deserves 10/10 stars. All members were fantastic from start to finish!! The emcee made our bridal entrance vision come alive, the band absolutely delivered with our special dances, and they ROCKED. THE. HOUSE. They even invited my husband and I up on stage to sing and entertain our guests too. We probably overextended our welcome but we were encouraged by the band and guests to keep on rocking out. From start to finish, our experience with Slippery Band was unmatched and more than we could ever ask for. Firstly, by far the best wedding band I have ever seen. I mean I knew they would be good from all their reviews but I did not know they would be THAT good. They had everyone dancing, their vocals/music were impeccable, and song choices on point. Their range includes Bruce, Zac Brown Band, to Lizzo…and they did it effortlessly - what more can you ask for! They made the night so 👏🏻 dang 👏🏻 fun. Slippery Band made our wedding reception a dream! Excellent communication leading up to the wedding, they asked all the right questions to make sure our reception was perfect. Amazing performance by the entire band the night of. They have an MC along with the band who work so well together and made the night run so smoothly. My dad surprised us with a performance with the band too, and they were incredibly accommodating and made the entire night very special. They really know how to put on a show too, and all the musicians are extremely talented. We’re hoping to see them again at another wedding!

Our friends and family are still raving about Slippery Band! They were amazing and learned some new songs for us, which was particularly meaningful given my husband is Australian. Chris was a pleasure to work with ahead of time. He helped us plan our reception order, and was always very responsive. The day of the wedding, they were very flexible in rearranging the order of the reception last minute given my need to change out of my dress sooner than expected. Throughout the night, I sometimes did a double take because the songs were so well played it sounded like the recordings. They kept the dance floor hopping all night long. We booked Slippery Band for our wedding without even seeing them at a showcase (due to COVID) because we saw so much of them on social media in people's stories/posts we could just tell how great they were and how much fun they had! When we say the dance floor was FILLED, we mean we don't even remember a single chair being occupied because that is how easily they make even the most introverted people want to dance. We saw people dance who you would never think would even place a foot on the dance floor. They made our reception a PARTY and one that our guests are still talking about. The Slippery Band are the absolute best. Very organized and accommodating of our wide array of music interests. They also helped with music needs for our actual wedding ceremony as well. Chris the band leader is so nice and very quick to respond to any questions or ideas. He took care of everything and we had nothing to worry or think about on our special day. Wow - they were ELECTRIC (in the words of a lot of my guests!) The band killed it - perfect flow, kept us having fun but played a slow song when needed, brought us on stage for the most epic performance we will ever have!! We love you guys!

WOW! We hired this band during the pandemic and were taking a risk as we never had a chance to see them live. The reasons we chose this band initially include their awesome ratings and extremely prompt communication. From the first email, more than 6 hours NEVER passed without a response. They made me feel comfortable every step of the way, sharing suggestions, guidelines and accommodating my every request. Come the big day, they were ON POINT with every detail discussed. We did some song remixes which were fairly complicated, that they completely hit the mark!! One moment late into the evening, my husband and I took a step back to look at the venue, our guests, etc and there were maybe 5 seats filled, EVERYONE was on the dance floor. The music was a perfect mix and we couldn't have received more compliments on how much fun everyone had. Thank you thank you thank you Slippery Band.

Ever since the first time I heard Slippery Band play at my cousin's wedding I knew I had to have them at mine! They were incredible and had everyone on their feet the entire night. Slippery Band sounds so good my guests thought they were listening to the original artists of the songs. They ran out of business cards with how many people were asking for them! Slippery Band was amazing at our wedding! Despite multiple COVID-related reschedules, they made the pre-wedding process very straight forward and easy and were not pushy or overbearing. They were professional and accommodating and the keyboardist even took the initiative to rehearse with a family member who was singing a song at the ceremony. And of course - they were a hit at the reception! The band was fantastic and energetic. They had everyone up and dancing. Afterwards we had multiple people approach our family members to get the band's information for later engagements. We really enjoyed dealing with Slippery Band at every stage of the wedding process and highly recommend them!

Chris and the Slippery Band were by far my most favorite wedding vendor! Chris was so helpful and such a delight to work with, he even found us a ceremony pianist two weeks before our wedding when the one we had booked cancelled on us. The Slippery Band crushed it. We have attended 3 weddings with them performing that it was a no brainer to get them to do our wedding. They work with you leading up to the day to make sure the experience is special. The highlight of using the Slippery Band is when they invite the couple up to be apart of the band for a song. That moment is one still talked about from our wedding. We had an unusual situation with COVID-19 impacting our wedding and we had to move the wedding to my parents backyard. They worked with us to make sure the sound and performance did not change from being indoors to outdoors. They constantly kept in touch with us as things were touch and go for our wedding. I can't wait to see them again at a future wedding this summer!

Slippery played at our New Years Eve wedding. From our initial conversation with Chris, we knew we were in good hands. Unfortunately, due to covid we weren’t able to see or hear them play prior to our wedding, but let me tell you, I am glad we weren’t able to, because it made our wedding that much more special. They were PHENOMENAL! Not only did they play every song we requested, but they learned a song that night that I last minute (that night lol) asked them to play. If you are thinking of a band for your wedding, I without a doubt, highly recommend slippery! Our friends & family still keep talking about how great they were! The dance floor was packed all night!

Slippery Band played our event at Penn’s Peak in early November and our guests - grandparents to young cousins - still have not stopped talking about them! They were accommodating to our timeline; open to being lit up on stage but outside lighting partners; and did everything possible to make our celebration perfect - including inviting us up to perform (a dream I’ve always had!!). Their set list was not the kitschy songs you hear at every wedding - exactly what we were looking for and something for everyone to enjoy. No one left the dance floor all night (including myself, who nearly skipped cutting the cake to keep dancing). I can’t recommend Slippery Band enough.

If you want a band that gets everyone on the dance floor EARLY and keeps everyone there ALL NIGHT, this is your band. They’re the BEST band with the BEST musicians, and so easy to work with. We postponed our wedding by 13 months, and Slippery Band held several dates for us until we were able to settle on the new date, which was a huge help and relief. They played every song wr requested, including lots of Disney at cocktail hour on the keyboard (my personal favorite). Every guest at our wedding loved this band and had the best night dancing away. My husband and I even got on the stage with them and had a blast!! They play a great mix of music and are willing to learn new songs just for the first dances and party music. I can’t explain enough how much this band contributed to making my wedding day absolutely perfect. We were all on the dance floor for the WHOLE NIGHT and had the time of our lives!!! Guests of all ages were up dancing all night too. There is no other band that can live up to Slippery Band. 12/10 RECOMMEND!!!!!

Chris worked closely with my daughter with music choices and their DJ filled in the gap when the band was on a break. The dance floor was the place to be when the band was playing. The Slippery Band is incredible! My wife and I heard them perform at another event several years ago and we said, "If we ever get married, we NEED to have them play at our wedding!" If I could give Chris and the Slippery Band infinity stars I would!! Slippery Band is NOT just a wedding band, but literally the glue that held our wedding day together! I spoke with Chris Noon in the summer of 2019 when we first got engaged and Slippery Band was the first vendor we booked. Both of our families are very passionate about music, and LOVE TO DANCE, so obviously a live band was a must. Hearing the recordings on the website had me hooked, but it was really the responsiveness and likeminded passion that I heard in Chris' voice that closed the deal! It was clear from the beginning that the entire ensemble was committed to giving us the best experience, and he made us feel like his only wedding with each email and phone call. So over two years and a pandemic, we stayed in touch, and even with the difficulties associated with it, Slippery Band learned our unique first dance and father-daughter dance songs, even practicing a custom mash-up of two songs for our first dance. Not only was did they keep everyone dancing ALL NIGHT, they even worked with me and my photographer to craft the perfect schedule for that day, and kept everything running like clockwork. I truly owe the seamlessness of the entire evening in part to this band! Having an M/C was also very helpful, as that was one more support to us on that day. We decided to pay to have their keyboardist play for our ceremony and cocktail hour as well, and our guests were very impressed. A few really unique things about this band that I need to highlight: 1) they only play together. It was so clear that they were comfortable with each other, and that they were also like family, having fun right along with us! It was nice to know that we were not getting a random group of hired musicians but instead a tight-knit band that had played together for years 2) They are all (I believe) classically trained musicians - AND IT SHOWED. Having singers, and brass and woodwind players in our family, the sheer talent and musicianship across the board was EVIDENT. 3) They check their ego at the door. It was so amazing to hear MY PLAYLISTS during the live music breaks and to love and dance to every. single. song. Plus, they read the crowd and specifically choose their set list to be flexible so that they can adjust with the mood of the guests. Slippery Band is definitely one of the most frequent "best of's" from the wedding when talking to friend and family, with people still raving about them months later! Thank you so much Chris and the Slippery Band!! I hope this is not the last time we get to work with you!!

Truly amazing!! We could not have asked for a better band for our wedding. From the changes with covid, communication about everything leading up to that day, I was really thankful and impressed at how smooth it all was. The dance floor was crowded all night which is all we asked for! The Slippery Band definitely knows how to do a wedding right. We are still getting compliments on how awesome they were. You will not go wrong with them for your special day!

Amazing! Chris and Slippery Band were incredibly flexible and easy to work with during COVID, not something I can say of our our vendors. They definitely put on a show at our wedding catering to all guests and had everyone dancing the whole night. Highly recommend!!

Slippery Band goes out of their way to make your wedding day a dream come true. People always think the bar is the place to be at a wedding, well the dance floor was the place to be as this band rocked the house all night long. I cannot speak more highly of this band and the truly fantastic job they did at our wedding!

My husband & I got married on 11/15/2019. We could not speak more highly of the Slippery Band! Chris (Band Leader/Manager) was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. He doesn’t miss a beat-literally! They are true to their word - they will have your guests dancing all night long and it will be the best night of your life. Slippery Band absolutely made the night! The music was top notch! The dance floor was never empty! We received so many comments from guests about how great they were. No song was too much for them and the variety of genres was immense. I always knew I want Slippery to be the band for my daughter’s wedding, and I will forever be grateful that they were!

Everyone loved Slippery and we were very glad we went with them. They nailed some hard song requests from us (Seasons of Love, the Hora), and read the crowd like a book. Several people afterwards said that we had the highest energy dance floor from a wedding that they can remember. Ahead of the wedding, they were highly responsive and professional. Slippery Band was great! They kept the party going all night and our guests did not leave the dance floor. They were also very accommodating of our special requests and were willing to learn any song that they didn't know prior to our wedding. Highly recommend!

We used Slippery Band for our wedding in September and they were absolutely fantastic! They provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. First, Chris was great to work with leading up to the wedding . He made everything so easy and you could tell that he really knows his stuff. Then on our wedding day the band was amazing! Our reception would not have been complete if it wasn't for Slippery Band! Chris was extremely helpful in planning and prepping before the Big Day and made sure every detail was covered. He was more than happy to provide suggestions for the Mother/Son Dance, etc. Slippery Band sets the expectation right from the start. They are there to party and they will make sure your guests dance the night away! Guests are still asking us for their information because they would like to have them at their upcoming events! Highlights from the night are that my husband and I were able to perform with the band and Chris took photos from the band's point of view. The Slippery Band went above and beyond for our "big day!" We worked with Chris prior to our wedding to review our favorites from their playlist. They even went above and beyond, learning/rehearsing additional favorites of ours to play that evening. We were so reassured knowing that they were responsible for keeping our program moving and energies up. The dance floor was packed the entire night! When they invited my husband and I up to perform the traditional "Anthem Song," it was a really powerful moment for us. We looked out to see all of our guests assembled on the dance floor, cheering us on and singing with us. It was a magical "this is a once-in-a-lifetime" experience. We cannot say enough just how lucky we were to have Slippery Band at our wedding. They came as a suggestion from a friend, and due to distance and schedule, we actually never heard them play until our wedding. But, in talking with Chris and his team, we were immediately put at ease. Having The Slippery Band play at our wedding was one of the highlights of the night. They are an incredible group of people who are extremely passionate and professional about their work. Chris and Slippery Band were super helpful leading up to the event and had everything run flawlessly come show time. They put on on an amazing show and kept our 250 guests dancing all night long - the dance floor was full the whole time! 10/10 would recommend.
