Sloane Dakota Photo

so I wanted someone who I could trust to capture all of those special moments and also to get us in our best light and I knew I could trust Sloane with that. We are NOT models and don't have a lot of experience taking professional photos. I was worried that if our photographer didn't lead the way, we wouldn't end up with great photos. It was really important to me that we had direction and someone who brought ideas that could capitalize on the moment and Sloane absolutely nailed it. Sloane was immediately encouraging and her work spoke for herself. She led the way while also letting us be ourselves and was incredibly considerate of our ideas and vision. She was a trooper from the beginning during our engagement photos and I knew she was going to work hard and execute well during our wedding as well. I LOVED working with Sloane. She made it easy on us, she was patient with us but she also didn't hesitate to ask for more from us when she needed it (which I appreciate). My biggest fear was rushing through photos and regretting it later but I have more than enough memories because of her patience.

f (like magazine worthy shots) and could be reason enough to hire her, but for me the photographer’s vibe is also super important since so much of the wedding day is spent together. I think it might be impossible to not get along with Sloane - she’s cool but quirky and takes her job seriously while still being a bit silly (which I definitely needed at times). My husband and I couldn’t be more grateful for the moments she captured so beautifully <3. It's clear that this woman is bound for big things and we feel lucky to have original Sloane Dakota shots before she gets too famous!

HING compares to our wedding. It is Monday, our wedding was Saturday (as in two days ago) and we already have preview shots that are incredible. Our loved ones are freaking out (along with us) about how amazing these photos are. She made us feel so at ease on our wedding day, gave us exactly the right amount of direction, and made us look and feel amazing in photos. Her second shooter Jose was the cherry on top, he was amazingly talented and the perfect compliment to Sloane's style. I have told every one of my unmarried friends that they have to use Sloane when it's their turn!

a photographer can shoot without giving much direction and without becoming the center of attention. Especially when you're getting ready in the morning, you'll want someone who isn't in your face with a camera all the time. One thing I will also mention about Slodak is that she works very quickly. She edits in rapid speed and has your much anticipated photos ready for you in no time.

from family portraits to last minute panic about the weather--she was totally flexible and made me feel more at ease at every turn. And the photos are truly spectacular, like I am so so SO happy with the portraits. My family literally won't stop talking about how gorgeous they turned out! I would absolutely recommend her and have told all my friends she's best.

I searched hashtags on Instagram for what seemed like eternity, I finally found SloDak Photography and fell in love with all of her posts. I messaged her right away. Sloane was extremely responsive and was available for our wedding date. I immediately booked her as I did not want to lose her. Sloane was living in another state at the time and setup a video call conference with my husband and I to formally introduce herself to us. She took her time to truly understand our vision for our wedding. She was extremely genuine and professional. I knew I made the most perfect choice hiring her as our wedding photographer. We added an engagement shoot to our package even though we had already taken engagement photos because of the great deal she offered. Since we already had typical photos, I wanted to do something entirely different. I picked a children’s exhibit to highlight our big kid personalities. Sloane did a great job capturing beautiful moments in a very rushed environment with hundreds of kids running around. She was able to capture our personalities and gave us photos we will treasure for a lifetime. On the day of the wedding, Sloane arrived at our hotel and began capturing our first look photos. I had some anxiety and Sloane made me feel so comfortable and eased my worries. She wasn’t just a photographer that day, she was a friend. She made us feel amazing. Once we arrived at the venue, we met with her assistant, Jessica. Both of them were truly amazing and captured every important detail and stayed close to us throughout the entire wedding to ensure all moments were captured. Now get this-Sloane sent me previews right after our wedding! I’m talking the same night! And then sent us more a few days later and then the entire package two weeks later! That’s unheard of! My husband and I were blown away. We went through each and every picture and we felt like we were reliving our wedding. Its been two month since our wedding and I was supposed to send our videographer a list of songs for our wedding video and I haven’t because Sloane’s pictures have been enough, I’m not even worried about getting our video anytime soon lol. Sloane responded to every email, text and phone call and was always to easy to reach. She has excellent customer service skills and puts her brides first. I never questioned her talent or work ethic. She is phenomenal and understands the importance of wedding photography. It is so easy to see that Sloane is passionate about what she does, it’s not just another job to her. It’s a platform to utilize her talents and passion to bring happiness to others. She sees beauty in things that the average person will miss. I can’t imagine our engagement and wedding photos being any better. Every time I show my pictures to friends or family, they always ask who the photographer was because they have never seen wedding photos that beautiful, I’m not even exaggerating!!! Sloane is professional, genuine, fun, responsive, punctual and a pleasure to work with. I wish Sloane/SloDak photography continued success. She is the best.
