Wow, it’s hard for me to write a review on Shannon, because I feel like I’m reviewing a friend. I’ve followed her on Instagram for years, way before getting engaged, knowing I wanted her to be my photographer, and chatting once in a while about the day I would finally meet her. When I got engaged, I legit got SO excited about having Shannon being part of my adventure, and her excitement about it just confirmed my choice. Onto our engagement pictures... first she helped me picking my outfits, was very easy about picking a day and knew where and when to go to get the best pics. The weather wasn’t looking good, but she never sounded discouraged and we ended getting super lucky with a gorgeous afternoon light. My fiancé and I are also super camera shy and she KNOWS how to make you laugh and look naturally “gorgeouuus” on your pictures. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she will get you the most timeless, amazing looking pictures of yourself. I’m not kidding, both my fiancé and I are in awe at the pictures she took, and he is hard to impress. She made him feel comfortable and excited about pictures and just for that, she deserves an award. And me... gosh Shannon, I didn’t believe I could look so pretty on pictures. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to be part of this adventure with us. Now we are so in love with her, we can’t wait for our wedding day and we are so confident that we will get the most amazing pictures ever. That feeling is worth everything, knowing that anything could go wrong on your big day, but my pictures won’t. Love you Shannon!!!!

Shannon is ONE OF A KIND you guys! If you get the chance to work with her as your wedding photographer, you won't go wrong. She is SO FUN, talented, always on time, professional, and caring. Every album I have seen of hers is drop dead amazing. I seriously can NOT recommend her enough to a bride looking for a photographer!

I’ve been sitting on this for a while because it’s hard to find the right words to describe Shannon.. After my fiancé and I got engaged, I hired Shannon from a cute ad on Instagram and figured it would be a normal photo shoot that is typically both awkward and exciting. Boy was I wrong! Meeting Shannon was like catching up with an old friend. Seriously, we had so much fun shooting our engagement pictures we asked her and her boyfriend (that we didn’t even know!!!) if they wanted to go eat pizza with us that night AND THEY CAME! As I said before, it’s so hard for me to put into words how incredible this human is! Shannon is HILARIOUS (she communicates frequently through GIFs which is basically one of my love languages), she’s a hit with all the guests and family, and she knows just how to get the P E R F E C T shots of the raw emotions of your big day. She also edited some pictures DURING HER DINNER BREAK so that she could display them AT THE RECEPTION for us and our guests to enjoy/cry over! She is hands down one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day, aside from my husband (ily Jon)! Shannon, THANK YOU for capturing the most special day of our lives. I actually refuse to imagine what our engagement season would be like without a pizza-loving QUEEN like you! ILY!

Shannon’s the best. Hands down. Look no further *mic drop* ... No, I’m just kidding. But not kidding about Shannon being the best. She’s friendly, she’s kind, she’s confident, she’s professional, she’s on time, she’s talented, she makes you feel so beautiful and with that I would like to hire her to follow me around always and snap photos of me because no one has ever made me feel as pretty as Shannon and that’s freakin important for your wedding day ok! Love her and her work so much. She is worth every single penny. Would recommend her ten times over. I am proud to now know someone as talented as she is.

Shannon was absolutely awesome to work with! My husband and I are not comfortable in front of a camera and are not the PDA type at all, so wedding pictures freaked us out, to be honest. We are pretty laid back and wanted our wedding to be more of a celebration than a huge “photo-op” ordeal, as we’ve been together for yearsss. We had all of our younger siblings and some family members with disabilities in our wedding party, which comes with its own set of challenges- Shannon was amazing at helping everyone get in the right positions to get all the shots in a timely manner. Shannon was SO chill, but also made sure we got great shots to remember our day! She immediately made us feel comfortable. She, our videographer, and my husband kept everything so lighthearted - we were cracking up the whole time and just had the best time! Book her ASAP!

Y'ALL, Shannon knocked it out of the park!! From the day that I reached out to her, through the day of the wedding and even after, she has been incredible! Since I was planning my wedding from North Carolina it was important to me to have vendors that "get" me and that I could really trust! Shannon was that and more! She helped me find the perfect package for our big day and stayed in touch throughout the entire process. Because I was in North Carolina I was unable to squeeze in an engagement or bridal shoot, so I was a little nervous for the day of being the first time. She killed it (per usual), kept everything calm, moving and made my husband and I feel super comfortable! She got amazing pictures of the guys and handled (kept them in check, lol) their sarcasm and goofiness effortlessly! So, the pictures. YALL THE PICTURES!!! They are beautiful!! It captured us, our family and our friends so organically! I look at my gallery all of the time and can't believe I get to relive this day forever. I highly recommend Sloane Photo. The quality of the photos and the person behind the camera are unmatched!

Tears as I type this because she’s just THAT dang good. Honestly, 3500 characters don’t even begin to give Shannon the credit that she deserves. As soon as we got engaged and I began looking at photographers, I knew we wanted someone unlike any other to capture our day. We wanted someone who knew us as a couple, someone who was personable and we could connect to, and someone whose work was so authentic it would perfectly depict each moment throughout our wedding process. Then, I found Shannon. The minute I saw her photographs, I knew she was our girl. HOW COULD YOU NOT?! I found myself obsessively scrolling through her work, first drooling because she’s literally THAT good, and then tearing up imagining Matt and I being “those people”. The minute I contacted her and heard back literally the SAME hour I knew we were set with the most perfect person. Y’all, her initial email had me crying, and laughing, and was the most professional email I’ve gotten all in one. I still honestly don’t know how she does it? Before we even met Shan, she literally made us feel like we had known her our ENTIRE lives. When we took our engagement pictures, it was an experience unlike I had ever had, ever. We laughed until it hurt because she’s hands down one of the funniest people I know, and our smiles were so genuine because she just GETS IT. We literally glow in our pictures because Shannon lights up any room she’s in (and in our case a park which is a whole lot of glow people). After our engagement pictures, she literally answered any and ALL of my emails and texts (even the ones at 12:30am) even though she wouldn’t be working with us again for a while. She stayed in contact and made us feel so loved and valued which you don’t find with ANYONE ELSE. Then came our wedding day. Over time, Shannon became someone I held so near and dear to my heart (because you can’t not do that with her), so naturally on my wedding day she was the first person I texted because I literally could not wait to see her again. From the minute she got to our venue and started working her magic, everything was literally so thought out and orchestrated, it was impossible to not take notice of her. Our family and friends literally begged for her contact and raved over her attention to detail, her infectious personality, her professionalism, and unrivaled talent. Each set of pictures she took were literally so fun, yet authentic, and fast, but each moment was so sweet. Y’all, to witness her in her element is INSANE. As our pictures are trickling in, each one brings back all of the feelings that we felt from our wedding day in the most BEAUTIFUL way. She captured raw moments and made them SO beautiful you can’t not cry, smile, and laugh. I relook at them hourly because they’re honestly that freaking good y’all. *wipes nose on sleeve* I’m obviously very biased but I haven’t seen pictures in the industry like hers. I will NEVER have the words to thank Shannon not only for giving us pictures that we will cherish forever, but giving us a friendship for life. Brides, listen to my words, there isn’t a photographer out there like Shannon. YOU. NEED. HER. Ily Shan!!!!!

SHANNON IS A FREAKING BEAST! Couldn’t have chosen anyone better to capture our special day! She was well organized & BOSY (in the best way!!) getting my big family together could be a challenge but Shannon made it so smooth & easy on me! We’ve received a handful of photos so far & I’m already in awe of her talent & pure attention to detail! She always returns emails or any questions you may have! BOOK HER. You won’t regret it! She worked her butt off & it shows! Can’t say enough amazing things about her! Thank you Shannon!!!

SHANNON IS A FREAKING ROCK STAR. From promptness, attention to detail, stunning results, and ease of business, you really can’t go wrong. Shannon is so easy to talk to, funny, and keeps your environment fun- even in the stress of the day, and days prior. Her outline was so detailed that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. If you freak out like me, she puts your mind at ease! She’s also like just a fun addition to your bridal crew, and feels like someone you just want to hang out with. She always got my pictures to me sooner than expected, (I did engagements, bridals, wedding preview, and wedding). She turned around the next day to give me some wedding shots that we are all dying to plaster on social media, and within a week gave me my bridals so I could have them printed to be displayed at our wedding. I can’t thank Shannon enough for the mems she’s created for years to come. Not to even mention her photos are gorgeous, just check her social media. They speak for themselves!

You guys, I just honestly don't even know where to begin. First of all, there's just SOMETHING about Shannons photos that stand out over every other photographer I have met . I don't know exactly what it is , nor can I put a finger on it, but it's INCREDIBLE and it's pure magic. Second of all, my first line of wedding advice to anyone is to SPEND the money on a good photographer because those pictures are seriously all that you're left with after the best day of your life (she left me with some sneak peaks the night of the wedding and I look at them every single day). That's why I was so particular with who I wanted as a photographer & let me tell you, Hands down - 100% - no questions asked, Shannon is the BEST photographer I have come across. There's a lot of photographers in this world but like I said, there's just something about her camera skills and the way her photos turn out that are so unique. She is on top of her S*** (LOL), she is so organized, and she knows how to control a group of people-- which let me tell you--is hard to do at a wedding. She will tell you exactly what to do with your hands, your face, your body, your pinky, your toes and everything in between (LOL) so your pictures are magic AND you aren't standing there all awkward not knowing what to do and not feeling uncomfortable and not wasting time. She flat out just knows how to use a camera and her pictures turn out SO CLEAN & CRISP & BEAUTIFUL. Honestly, Im getting teary eyed writing this review because my pictures are just that gorgeous....not only is she a GOD behind the camera but she is SO.MUCH.FUN to be around (I'm laughing by myself right now just thinking about her at my wedding) she makes you laugh every .05 seconds and I LOVE IT. Weddings are already stressful so it's nice to have someone who can lighten the mood for you. So many people after my wedding said to me "Paige, your photographer was freaking awesome"...and honestly, my response was "I know she was" haha I was one who did my research and once I found her I never looked back. You will NOT be disappointed using her, and I just feel bad for anyone who doesn't get the opportunity to let her shoot their wedding. Ive never left a review on anything in my life because I just never felt like anything has ever really been worth the time to write one , but this easily was. I am going to end my novel with one honest and simple statement: SLOANE PHOTO WAS THE BEST DECISION I MADE FOR MY WEDDING DAY. (<--if I had to write my review in one sentence it would be that one.) I am absolutely obsessed with the photos from Sloan Photo! I'm so thankful we chose them for our wedding photographer. Both Shannon and Emily were so amazing. They answered all of our questions and concerns promptly, and most importantly, nailed our wedding photos. We got butterflies looking at them. It really felt like we were reliving our special day. A photographer is one of the greatest investments on your wedding day. After spending a lot of time researching and inquiring about photographers for my wedding, I was lucky enough to stumble across Shannon with Sloane Photo. From the very first conversation with Shannon, I felt like I just clicked with her. She was so much fun during the planning process and made our day enjoyable. Ok where do I even begin with Shannon?! I got married out of town where I had zero referrals to use and was on my own to find all my vendors. We came across her profile unexpectedly in a rush to try to find a photographer after having to suddenly move my wedding. I stalked her on Instagram first, and when I saw her work and read the captions to her photos I knew she was the one. I immediately fell in love with her work; its absolutely stunning. Every. Single. Photo. Her style was exactly what I had in mind that I wanted in my wedding photos. Not only is her work to die for, her personality is top notch. Shannon is so friendly, so sweet, helpful, answered every question I had in a timely manner, and made me feel like I was extremely important to her and not just "another client". Within 48 hours I had a handful of sneak peak photos to share with my friends and family! And of course, they were everything I wanted and more. I CANNOT wait to see our entire wedding album!!! Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. If I could give her 10 stars I would; you need Shannon as your photographer!

Shannon is SO fun and so good at what she does! We had the best day taking engagement pictures with her. She gives you plenty of direction and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera! I could not be happier with our photos - they are so bright and fun! Exactly what I wanted and so many friends and family commented that she truly captured us they way we are! Shannon was INCREDIBLE on our big day! She was very quick to help accommodate a fastly put together wedding. She was comfortable in a room full of girls that she didn’t know and was able to get great shots around the sun that pushed back starting times of everything. Having a very large family she was calm in getting everyone in one place to get the perfect shot. Not to mention finds the most creative shots! My hard drive crashed that had all our wedding photos and she was able to repost everything again for us to get those memories back! You can’t go wrong booking Shannon for your day! ☺️

First of all, Shannon is one of the coolest people you will ever meet. She's extremely down to earth, hilarious, creative, and she's freakin good at what she does! Second of all, I literally scheduled my wedding date around her because I HAD to have her do my photography/videography. The #1 thing on my list for the wedding was to make sure I had bomb pictures and a video to look back on one day and let me tell ya, Shannon delivered!! I woke up to sneak peak pictures the morning after my wedding and I just got the rest of the pictures back and I am obsessed! I work as a wedding DJ in Minnesota, I have worked in the wedding business for 13 years, and Shannon is the best of the best. My wife has worked as a professional photographer for many years so when it came to hiring a photographer i completely differed to her expertise, she found Sloane Photo on Instagram. I can tell you from experience that when you’re planning a destination wedding, finding local vendors can be difficult because you’re only resource is the internet, but boy did we hit the JACKPOT! Shannon was incredibly professional, really fun to work with, and the photos turned out AMAZING!! I would highly recommend working with her. Shannon is by far the most professional (but still willing to have marg with you during shoot), knows the best locations (she’s like google maps photographer edition), and knows EXACTLY how to get you that good pic!!! To sum it up if I could Tie Shannon up and stick her in my pocket the rest of my life I would Because she’s a damn good time. Shannon is truly talented at her craft. Not only does she have a creative eye, and passion for her work, she was an absolute professional and a pleasure to work with. My fiancé and I got our engagement photos done in San Diego in July. I wasn’t completely convinced we “needed” engagement pictures, as it seemed like we could pass on the pictures to save money for our wedding. I have not been a big proponent on professionally done photos. I cannot tell you how glad I am we DID NOT PASS THIS UP. Shannon sent over hundreds of beautiful shots within a week and I want to print them all out! For the work Shannon does, I would have paid 5x what we did. Highly recommend this girl to any bride or bride to be! ❤️

I don't even know where to begin. Shannon is an amazing soul, and she made what could have been a stressful day, so much better. She is so creative with her work, works over any obstacles, and can make ANY place a gorgeous photoshoot. (Seriously didn't know it was possible). Shannon is extremely talented! I had a concept in mind for my engagement photos and she was able to make it come to life! Shannon was also really good at scoping out the right views and environment for our photos. She knew exactly how to direct us as well. We love her so much, we knew we had to have her document our wedding, so she will be coming to Vietnam with us!!

SHE GETS IT- YOU NEED HER! I had recently moved to the Austin area when I was proposed to and looking for a photographer was nerve racking...My older sister is a photographer, but being a bridesmaid doesn't allow that as an option at your own wedding. TRUST ME I WAS PANICKING. It would be an understatement to say finding Shannon was the best wedding present (besides my Hubby) that I could have possibly received. Because of her, we can view our wedding for years to come just as we had envisioned it, maybe even better. I can't explain how quickly she acclimated to our style and just UNDERSTOOD what we wanted. The photos were spot on with what we had in mind; and so much more. She is innovative, and captures those special photos, the ones you didn't even think you needed.
