SLT Makeup and Artistry was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day. From the initial consultation, to the trial, and lastly, to our wedding day, Sarah and her glam squad did it all. On the wedding day, Sarah and her crew took their time in getting to know the entire bridal party, creating a lively and fun atmosphere, even at 6:30am in the dead of winter in December! The quality of their work was exceptional - my hair held up and makeup looked natural and held the entire day!! We all received so many compliments on our hair and makeup. Sarah is amazing and so fun to be around!! I highly recommend SLT in a heartbeat!! Thank you Sarah!! XO

We loved everything about this team!
I was in a panic when it came to hair and makeup. For someone that doesn't wear makeup I had 0 expectations and no direction. After being in multiple "messy" weddings and hearing horror stories about wedding day makeup, I was so nervous that I was going to choose the wrong place for one of the most important days of our lives.
In the process of "Googleing" for what seemed like hours, I came across this team. Something was telling me "THIS IS IT!"
I emailed over to Sarah who responded right away! The transition and communication to book was so easy and so stressless! She prepared myself and my girls for everything.
I had the luxury of meeting Sarah while working with Shelbie and Katie!
My trial was flawless. The salon is beautiful! The atmosphere is just overall warming and welcoming!
All 3 ladies jumped right in making me feel like I was a "regular" client that has been coming to them for years!
Our wedding day was amazing!!
Starting out with such a heartfelt text message from Sarah personally who was not present during our day just to wish me a happy wedding day.
We got ready in the salon. The morning went so smooth. Shelbie and Katie worked literal MAGIC on all 5 of us!
We all explained what we wanted and they executed it perfectly!
Throughout the day and night, we had NO issues with our hair or makeup. Everything settled and stayed beautifully.
We can't thank this entire team enough for their talent and positive vibes!

✨ I cannot express how thrilled I am with the incredible hair and makeup stylists who made my wedding day truly magical! Sarah and Kylee were a god send💖 From the moment I stepped into the salon, I knew I made the right decision. The team understood my vision perfectly and transformed it into a reality that was beyond my wildest dreams.
They took the time to listen, offer suggestions, and really made me feel special. Every brush stroke and every hairpin was placed with such care and artistry. My hair was absolutely stunning, perfectly styled to complement my bridal look, and my makeup was radiant! I felt beautiful inside and out.
Not only did they make me look gorgeous, but they also brought such positive energy wedding morning that made the experience unforgettable. Communication was immaculate!!!!! Sarah never left me hanging. I had a couple mistakes in booking because one of my girls typically has her own stylist. Sarah was so accommodating with my mistakes and NEVER made me feel bad for asking questions or asking for help with something. I also thought it was kind of amazing that from the beginning she made me feel so comfortable and we literally just talked life my entire bridal trial, I loved that! ❤️❤️

Let me tell you - they were worth every penny. The team is so friendly, kind, and funny, on top of being top of the line experts in their trades. I was absolutely blown away at how quickly and expertly they were able to do my hair and makeup! I was especially pleased that my makeup simultaneously looked professional yet natural. After my trial, I even fell asleep on the couch for a few hours and when I woke up, my hair looked exactly the same. My eye makeup didn't even come off after I showered, so if you are worried about crying the whole day like I was, this is the team for you! Thank you, SLT! <3

first vendor I reached out to! She was absolutely perfect from start to finish! I rarely ever wear makeup, so it was important to find a style that allowed me to stand out as the bride without making me feel like I wasn’t myself. Both Sarah and Kylee were super appreciative of any feedback from my trial - and there wasn’t much because the trial was spectacular. Getting to work with Sarah and Kylee at the start of our special day really help set the pace for the day and I was able to be calm and truly enjoy and live in the moment. They made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day! My mom and Maid of Honor also got hair and makeup done by Sarah and Kylee. Not a single one of us had to do any touch ups except for our lips (from all that yummy food!). I cannot recommend Sarah, Kylee, and the rest of the team enough - I know this was the first of many appointments I hope to have with SLT Makeup Artistry!

getting ready so fun. She is very trustworthy and punctual. She arrived earlier than me on the wedding day and was already setting up when I got there. On the day of the wedding, I decided to change a few things I wanted for my makeup look and she was able to adapt with such short notice and give me exactly the look I wanted. Sarah's talent is undeniable, but what truly sets her apart is her personality and professionalism. She will come fully prepared on your day. I wore a bandaid that had removed a spot of my spray tan and she was able to fix it day-of in the makeup chair. They are SO MUCH FUN to work with! This is the team you want to kick off your wedding day morning with.
I also used SLT for my spray tan, which ended up the perfect shade and gave me the glow and confidence boost I needed for my special day.

ever we wanted. If someone did not like something, they took the time to fix it by scheduling in quick fixes at the end of hair/makeup. They also provided great recommendations if someone did not know what they wanted. For example, my hair is thin so Karly made certain recommendations to make my hair look full on my wedding day.
I did a trial hair session and recommend it for any bride. I did not do a makeup trial because I was not too nervous about that.
If you choose SLT, you will not be disappointed!

Post wedding update: The Glam Squad at SLT was amazing! We utilized their services for our wedding party and they were such a blast to be around, great energy despite it being 9 AM...

When one of our ladies was running late, they were super accommodating and able to swap the service order to allow for everyone to still get their hair and makeup done.
Trial: Just had my wedding trial with the folks at SLT and had such a fun time with them! Makeup and hair were fantastic, and their team really worked with me to create a look I felt confident in. I left relieved knowing that I had such a rockstar team lined up for my wedding day!

was their favorite hair/makeup experience. In addition to amazing hair and makeup, they were also super prompt and professional. We were actually done ahead of schedule! This promptness applied to the whole experience - Sarah was also super quick about getting back to me during the wedding planning process which was much appreciated. I usually don't wear a ton of makeup and told Sarah I wanted a natural look, and she nailed it. I am also a big face toucher, and even though I accidentally touched my face constantly throughout the day, my makeup still looked super fresh at the end of the night! I am also very indecisive and changed both my hair and makeup the day of, and Sarah (makeup) and Karly (hair) were awesome at helping me make final decisions and went above and beyond to make sure I loved the final product (and I did!). In addition to amazing services, all of the girls (Sarah, Karly, Stef, and Steph) were super sweet. It felt like my friends were doing my hair and makeup. Hair and makeup with SLT was the perfect way to start my wedding day, and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for wedding hair and makeup!

Below are some highlights to why I would give them 5/5 stars!
- when I say all the girls looked and felt beautiful, I truly mean ALL the girls. And it lasted all night! We were all thrilled with how it looked, I personally felt SO beautiful even after a hot weather ceremony.
- Costs were extremely fair!
- The trial went perfectly and they really make sure you are happy with the result and open to any changes! I also really loved how they documented exactly what you liked and came super prepared for the wedding day.
- Honestly, my day of wedding day (not involving hair and makeup) was super stressful but they stayed so calm, professional, and didn’t let it affect them - extremely grateful for this!
- They give a plan of how long each service will take per girl and are completely on point with timing of it all.
Overall amazing experience - wedding planning is definitely scary but this is for sure a company I would 100% recommend you book and you can breathe easier being in great hands!

ld be an understatement!! I showed her the look I wanted for my wedding, and she nailed it! My makeup looked incredible, and I received so many compliments... I didn't want to take it off! Sarah also did the makeup for my bridesmaid, maid of honor and my mom who all looked amazing as well! She fit right in with all of us, almost as if she were part of the wedding herself! I'm hoping that I have another event come up where I need my makeup done, just so I can have her do it again!
Side note: About 6 weeks before my wedding I reached out to Sarah asking for some advice on skin care (I'm clue less in the area). I had no idea she was going to above and beyond helping me out with this. She even took the time and devised a routine for me with recommendations on products. I would have been so lost on this and probably wasted hundreds of dollars on stuff I didn't need!
Sarah with SLT Makeup is the best and I will continue to recommend her to everyone one I know!
