The day of the ceremony was the. best despite the weather being super unpredictable in mid-May and shout out to Melissa for helping us come up with a Plan B solution given the 40% chance of rain during the afternoon. We were able to work quickly with them and the ceremony was absolutely perfect and glad it ended up not raining during our special day. I highly recommend working with Small Miami Weddings as they are really the best in the business.

e ceremony script, which they reviewed with us, was fantastic, it really was a great script that encompassed our relationship. The location was peaceful and beautiful, Crandon Gardens. The detail behind my flower selection was stunning, and Gen even wore my favorite color top for our ceremony without me even asking. The hair and makeup was very professional and clean. Kate was my hair and makeup stylist, she arrive perfectly on time, asked what look I was looking for and delivered. She was so sweet, made the experience for me very comfortable, as I usually do not wear makeup. I wanted a natural look and she hit it right on the mark. And Aussie, our photographer was so nice, funny, and very good at what he does. He also made the experience of being photographed very easy and comfortable. I can't wait to see the professional photos of us. I can't thank Gen, Melissa, Kate, and Ozzy enough for making our day so special and meaningful. I am very detail oriented and really appreciate timeliness and everyone we worked with knew exactly what to do. Our professional photographer Ozzy showed up early and even helped in ensuring our special moment was made and captured. Under his coordination it made the process a walk in in the park, he made us laugh a lot and we were able to get in a ton of poses and photos in multiple spots around the the venue within the allotted time***I will be adding his professional photos once available to this post*** All the staff involved in making this day truly magical showed up early as they said they would and they delivered. My fiancé and I wanted to do an elopement, just the two of us, and our wedding day was the most perfect day thanks to Small Miami Weddings. Our officiant Melissa made our ceremony completely perfect, tailored to the two of us and our story. My hair and make up artist provided by Small Miami Weddings came to my hotel room, was right on time, professional and delightful…not to mention she made me look the most beautiful I have ever looked. The photographer provided by Small Miami Weddings was also perfect. Our photographer made the process so fun and was very skilled in his craft, posing us in the best lighting and always making us look amazing. All we had to do on our day was show up and everything else was taken care of for us, which was exactly what we wanted.

I cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work, they really love what they do and you can definitely see that. When the time comes for us to renew our vows we will be reaching out to them again.

d not hire their photo/ video service, I hired a photographer and videographer separately. During the first few weeks of planning SMW was very professional and responsive, but when we encountered our first bump on the road they changed. FIRST ISSUE First issue I had was with SMW and my videographer. SMW requested a “Certificate of Insurance” from my videographer, which needed to have “Small Miami Weddings” as the insurer. The videographer got difficult and would only send a certificate with the venue’s name on it (Vizcaya). Letty from SMW told me that they could not deal with my videographer directly because I hadn’t hired video through them. So I was in the middle calling the videographer and SMW back and forth to try and resolve the issue. RIDICULOUS! Several days of back and forth & NOTHING! As the bride I was very frustrated & according to SMW without the certificate there would be no wedding. FINALLY I called Vizcaya & asked Lilian (the rental manager) to contact my videographer & explain why the (DAMN) certificate needed to have SMW’s name on it. Lilian resolved that issue in 5 minutes. SECOND ISSUE The second issue was with my “first look”. My ceremony start time was 10 am. Before the ceremony I wanted to have our “first look” inside of Vizcaya. SMW allows all guests (including the bride and groom) to go into Vizcaya at the same time, and only 10 minutes before the ceremony start time. I asked Melissa if the groom and I, the photo and video could go inside 15 mins before (instead of 10 mins) so that video would have enough time to setup his equipment and capture the first look. Melissa’s first excuse was that Vizcaya was too strict and would not allow that. When I asked her if she could call Vizcaya and ask the manager to allow us to enter the venue 15 minutes earlier (instead of 10 mins) her response was “ABSOLUTELY NOT!” She told me that my wedding was “the most difficult wedding” she had dealt with and that she was not going to mess up SMW’s reputation with Vizcaya for me. WTF? She said that the time to enter the museum was “SET IN STONE”. This was 5 days before my wedding. I was very disappointed in her response. All that “professionalism” and "kindness" went out the window in that conversation. When I hung up with Melissa I called Vizcaya directly and spoke to rental manager. I asked her if there was a problem with me entering the venue 15 before my ceremony to do the first look. Lilian told me that there was no problem in allowing us enter the museum 15 minutes before the ceremony. She said that that was probably a policy from SMW not allowing anyone enter the venue until 10 minutes before the ceremony. SMW basically REFUSED to give me an additional 5 minutes because they felt like it. DISAPPOINTING! The correct response would have been “let me see what I can do”, even if you weren’t going to give me the 5 minutes I asked for. This is typical Miami service for ya. No manners, no consideration. I gave SMW 3 stars out of 5 because the ceremony went on without problems. Had they handled the two problems I had differently, I would have given them 5 stars. Hopefully they will be more understanding when the next bride that hires them encounters a bump on the road.

We are a widowed couple in their 60s, getting married for second time with our four young adult children serving as bridesmaids/groomsmen, thus the "elopement package." If I had to do it all over again I'd Small Miami Weddings take care of our daughters' hair and makeup, too. I had a makeup artist - Amy - recommended by Small Miami Weddings come to the hotel room, and she was great. But our daughters used the hotel salon and despite booking months in advance they had only one stylist for both of them - and she was late, which made us late to the wedding! Gen and Melissa handled it though and the small, simple ceremony was everything I'd hoped for. Thanks to Leticia, too, behind the scenes, keeping me on track!

best locations. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to have our special day, Key Biscayne. Gen and Melissa planned and organised our wedding at very very short notice, over the Christmas and New Year period. They are absolute stars and such lovely, friendly people. They couldn’t have put us more at ease and it was like meeting old friends at the beach. We can’t express enough how fab these ladies are, we had read the reviews about their service and everything was as wonderful as could be and more. Thank you so very much, we are so so happy Xxxxxx
