Smallcakes Aurora

We found Smallcakes Aurora by chance one day when we ventured in to see exactly what they were. We were immediately wowed by the choices of flavors available for cupcakes for sale, as well as how they tasted when we got home! Moist cake, fluffy, light buttercream, some with cupcake fillings. We inquired with Vicki, store manager, about tiered cakes and she told us that if we found it on pinterest she could make it. So, we doctored up a cake between many different designs we found and she made it come true! She created our dream cake, personalized our flavors, and even worked with us on personalizing mini cupcakes. Along the way we had some changes happen and she quickly addressed them, giving us guidance and making what we needed to happen a possibility. We received great customer service by the entire staff along the way! Ordering our cake was very easy once we decided on flavors. Designing the look was great fun! The hardest part is that we were not limited, and I couldn't have been more grateful for that! The biggest seller was how excited Vicki was to work with us and make our cake magical for our special day! Our order included a 2 tier wedding cake and 108 mini cupcakes. The cake top tier was an 8" 2 layeres red velvet cake, while the bottom tier was a 10" 2 layered cake with one being a layer of almond cake and the other cherry(sooooo good!). We did 28 mini cupcakes of each flavor; lemon drop, red velvet and wedding cake(almond cake and buttercream). We also did a dozen gluten free and a dozen sugar free of half chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and half vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. We had a lot of personalization and changes and it was all met with a lets-make-it-happen attitude! And, yes, we way over ordered for 40 guests plus vendors, but we don't mind leftover Smallcakes!
