Had a terrible time doing business with them. Hard to schedule a tasting with. Then when we got one scheduled, the owner ditched our appointment and notified us only 3 hrs prior to the appointment and didn’t give us a reason. Then wastage to the appointment once we rescheduled. We ordered basic chocolate cupcakes for bridal shower, I came to pick them up and they were all vanilla. How do you mess up basic flavors? Gave us an invoice for what we wanted for wedding. Owner said they have another event the same day we have our wedding but said they would “make it work”. We made some changes to the invoice, wanted to take off delivery and cake stand charges. We even calculated the deposit for them and tried contacting owner multiple times with NO response. When the owner finally called, she said “Hey just calling to get that deposit”. Didn’t bother to discuss any changes. How do we know what we are getting? Had no confidence what so ever that they would get what we paid for. No trust at all and they only care about what money they can collect from you

This was the perfect cake place for us. We had a last minute problem with our cake person and called Smallcakes pretty late in the game. They were very accommodating with us even after we had to add 100 more cupcakes! Everyone told us how amazing the cake was and asked where we got it. It was super delicious! On another positive note we dropped off a container and asked if we could get a wedding cake cupcake since our wedding cake pieces were picked up before we got a chance to eat them, they obliged and were sweet enough to just give it to us. I can’t wait to get more cupcakes from them!

We LOVED our cake! It turned out EXACTLY how we imagined it and we were very pleased with the service we received as well as the price! They did a superb job!

We have only met for our consultation and my fiancé and I are already so impressed with Smallcakes. Allyson and her cake decorator were extremely professional and attentive. The pricing is very reasonable, and most importantly the cake we tasted was amazing. Allyson is very quick to respond to any questions/emails as well, (which is great since we live out of state). We cannot wait to see the beautiful cake they’ll make for our wedding. Highly recommendable!
