e appointment once we rescheduled. We ordered basic chocolate cupcakes for bridal shower, I came to pick them up and they were all vanilla. How do you mess up basic flavors? Gave us an invoice for what we wanted for wedding. Owner said they have another event the same day we have our wedding but said they would “make it work”. We made some changes to the invoice, wanted to take off delivery and cake stand charges. We even calculated the deposit for them and tried contacting owner multiple times with NO response. When the owner finally called, she said “Hey just calling to get that deposit”. Didn’t bother to discuss any changes. How do we know what we are getting? Had no confidence what so ever that they would get what we paid for. No trust at all and they only care about what money they can collect from you

Lauren - may apologies that you feel this way. The difficulty in scheduling was due to limited options. Most of the times you were able to get together were Sundays which we already had booked or did not have a consultant available . As for...

having to reschedule, I had an emergency come up that had to be attended to (which I apologized for ) and we were able to move it to the next day. Your estimate was sent the morning after we met detailing what we had discussed. I had mentioned we could add or take off whatever you like - this would just get you a blueprint. In our meeting I also mentioned we had another wedding scheduled that day (to be transparent) and do not double book and only accept 2 weddings per day. The weddings were a few hours apart , hence the comment we will make it work. The conversation regarding the deposit was to secure the date and ensure there was availability as we tend to fill up fast. I did not receive an email (possibly a phone call) regarding the changes and would have been happy to revise the estimate to accommodate your requests. The actual call was that I wanted to touch base on the deposit so we could line up the date for you. At that time I was told you were looking for some other things and would get back to us. What we had sent you the first time is an estimate, we then go to proposal and final contract which you would have signed and approved to ensure everything was correct. The reason for the deposit is to hold the date for you. The remainder isn't due until one month before so I am unsure about the comment that we only care about the money. We wish you the best.. .

ng the cake was and asked where we got it. It was super delicious! On another positive note we dropped off a container and asked if we could get a wedding cake cupcake since our wedding cake pieces were picked up before we got a chance to eat them, they obliged and were sweet enough to just give it to us. I can’t wait to get more cupcakes from them!
