Becki and Ryan genuinely get to know you, enjoy becoming friends with their clients, and are absolutely hilarious, kind, and so much fun!!! I honestly can’t imagine ever using another photographer for any other event ever. Extreme? No way. Becki and Ryan not only take the most beautiful photos, but their entire service is seamless. After booking, we received a gift box with coffee mugs and all the info we would need for our engagement pictures and wedding day. Following this was a consistent service of timeliness, kindness, and incredible attention to detail. We were followed up with throughout the planning process and the couple took time to genuinely get to know us. Their attitude has created an incredible friendship between us, which allowed us to be very comforted on our wedding day. I know they make all of their clients feel like best friends! They were even able to help us get some otherwise awkward family photos done. Thank you for ALL that you did to capture our day!

Simply the best! Becki and Ryan are an amazing photography team and couple. They went above and beyond to make sure me and my husband were comfortable infront of the camera. Every photo I've seen of theirs is stunning; Becki is so creative and has a great eye for detail. We absolutely loved working with them the last year and we will definitely be working with them again in the future!

I N C R E D I B L E. Becki is crazy talented, professional, and patient! Throughout the planning process she was available to answer questions and help resolve logistical concerns! We had an intimate elopement ceremony and dinner, and Becki captured it perfectly! Becki truly made us feel valued and appreciated - we even received a welcome box from Smithhouse, with a magazine, hand written note, and 2 coffee mugs! During our dinner, we never felt rushed. Becki and Ryan had everything under control! Beyond her professionalism and reliability, it goes without saying that Becki is amazingly talented. All of her photos capture the ethereal aesthetic we wanted for our wedding. We are so incredibly grateful to have worked with Becki and Ryan, who formed a MAJOR part of our DREAM TEAM of vendors! We will be working with them for every occasion from now on!! Not only that, but my husband and I will be living in San Antonio soon, so Becki and Ryan have inherited two new fans/clients/groupies!! :) Also, we have not even seen our full gallery yet (just married on 10/7) but the sneak peak photos have already been recognized and one was featured by Mori Lee !!! This review is long overdue but no one deserves a great review more than Smith House Photography!! Sometimes when booking a photographer people don’t realize that you will spend most of your wedding day with your photographers. That’s why it’s important to find someone that you like and want to spend all day with! Becki and Ryan took the time before our wedding day to become our friends!! They were wonderful the day of the wedding and they kept us grounded and laughing all day long! They are sooooo patient and kind (I have some very pushy family members and Becki was nothing but kind and gracious with them.) At one point during the reception my bustle would not work, Becki quickly got on her knees and was able to fix it!! I could go on and on about how incredible and professional they are but the pictures they capture speak for themselves! Our wedding pictures are perfect, everything I dreamed of and more! After I shared some of my pictures I had multiple people inquire about Becki and Ryan. I think they are probably some of the best at what they do in all of Texas!!

Such an Amazing photographer! As venue, we love working with photographers that capture not only the natural beauty of the venue but of our couples as well, Smithhouse does this effortlessly every time. Their work speaks for itself, and our brides can't get enough of them!

Words cannot express just how wonderful and talented Becki and Ryan are. My dalmatian, Jackson, was featured in a wedding styled photo shoot that they photographed. They were so sweet and patient with Jackson, and the photos were simply stunning. I highly recommend Becki and Ryan - they are truly a pleasure to work with!

I'm not even sure where to start when writing this review because that's how amazing Becki and Ryan are! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This husband and wife team is AMAZING and a dream to work with. I was planning my wedding from a different state and was not familiar with vendors in the Houston area so when I discovered Smith House Photography it was an answered prayer. Becki and Ryan were by far my favorite vendors I worked with on my wedding day. I remember when Becki came in to my bridal suite on the day of, I felt a sense of relief and comfort that she was there. That is how the whole experience with Becki and Ryan went. I was blown away from the beginning at how kind, professional, talented, and genuine this couple is. Their attention to detail in their work and their dedication to making my husband and I feel comfortable during our photo sessions are a few reasons we both knew we had hit the lottery with booking this couple. They even flew to Alabama to take our engagement photos!! They are so talented and take the most beautiful pictures that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I love the natural lighting and bright pictures they captured and our albums turned out stunning as well. During my wedding day, they were there capturing every moment and didn't miss any details. Their organization and attention to detail made our wedding day a breeze. We feel that we have gained life long friends through this process who we love dearly. I cannot recommend Becki and Ryan enough. They truly made my wedding day the most magical day of my life. I had no doubt from the moment I met this couple that our pictures would turn out perfectly and I was not disappointed. I am continuously amazed at how talented this couple is and I am so grateful they were apart of the most special time in my life. Please do yourself a favor and book this amazing couple!!

As a florist we work with a lot of photographers, Ryan and Becki are among the best! Our clients rave about how easy they are to work with and we couldn't agree more. Becki and Ryan were easily the best choice we made during our wedding planning! Not only did our photos, both wedding and engagement shoots come out absolutely STUNNING, but Becki and Ryan were absolutely wonderful! My husband is not the most comfortable with taking pictures and they made it so easy for him, and kept the atmosphere so fun and calm! They made sure that everything is perfect! From our first meeting, through the wedding day, and then mapping out our wedding album, they really went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted! I am literally OBSESSED with all our images and am so thankful to have found the Smiths! If you are looking for a photographer you could not make a better choice than Becki and Ryan!

Where do I even begin with Becki and Ryan? Let's state the obvious first. Their work is so amazing! They have an eye for photography and know how to work lighting! Besides the fact that their work speaks for its self, I think what makes them stand out from the rest is...well them! They are so genuine and kind . They are a phenomenal team. They treat everyone as if they have known you a life time! I think one of the most important qualities to have in a photographer is that they can connect with the couple and the family. Becki and Ryan have no problem talking to everyone in a friendly manner while still keeping things flowing and controlling the situation. I also love how they give you more of an experience than just another service. They truly take time to get to know their couples and think of absolutely everything to make your big day the BEST DAY EVER! It was an absolute dream working with both of them! They made my job as a planner so easy and best of all, I have made two more great friends! I can't wait for the next one Becki and Ryan!

Becki and Ryan are truly the most amazing, husband + wife team we have ever met. I found Smith House Photography on a completely random whim from seeing a high school friend's wedding planning blog entry, when searching for our wedding photographer (and now, our forever photographers). I knew we needed to book them once I saw their photos. We loved our engagement photo session as well as our wedding photos - they are 3,000% organic all the way around from the candid shots to the lighting, to the creative-nonfiction vision that Smith House really holds true to. Communication is beyond excellent, and if I had any questions, concerns, needed validation on anything wedding related - I emailed Becki who would reply with lightning fast speed. I've already joked - but I'm really serious - that I'm looking for special occasions to book them in the future - first house, first year anniversary....Edgar and I have even talked about bringing them along on our next vacation(s) just to do photo shoots with them. Becki and Ryan: y'all were a complete joy to work with and I'm so excited we were able to share the best day ever with you both! Can't wait for more best day ever's for y'all to be a part of! :)

As a Wedding Planner, I always love and appreciate working with vendors who truly love what they do. I tell my clients that you should not only love the work of the vendors, but you should love them too! Becki and Ryan spend time with me for each wedding we work together to ensure we write the timeline to make best use of the lighting, our client's requests all while ensuring the day runs smoothly! I know our shared clients love the story they're able to tell in their albums, and how both of them make our couples feel- relaxed, and having fun! Highly recommended!

Becki has always been quick to email me and message me back. Never have I felt a lack of communication with her. They have a respect of moments and a passion for their work. The content of the work was present. Unfortunately, the quality of the art was overshadowed by the incredibly poor communications exhibited by the couple. It was not uncommon for response times to be up to several weeks for an email. My husband and I were not provided with updates unless we asked for them. The words "I definitely dropped the ball" from someone you hire for your wedding is absolutely not something a bride hopes to receive. My recommendations would be to ask every question that you want answered and make sure to view all options when deciding on your albums.

Becki + Ryan are some of the most genuine, full-hearted people I've ever met. Add in their talent for capturing emotions + details and you've got a photography team that will not only give you gorgeous images of your wedding day, they'll make you feel relaxed + comfortable the entire time - even if being in front of a camera makes you nervous! I loved working with Becki and Ryan of Smith House Photography! They are so fun and easy to get to know, so professional and gifted at what they do, and made our most desired shots & captures their top priority. Becki helped keep everyone's (especially my mom's and my) stress low by being incredibly prepared and paying attention to details ahead of time, which also meant nothing fell through the cracks the night-of . The end results were beautiful photos and memories from our favorite night of celebration, and we're so thankful that Smith House made that happen!

These two lovely people were recommended to me by my wedding coordinator. Becki and Ryan are wonderful, caring, and kind hearted and it can be seen within 5 minutes of meeting them! They were super flexible and comfortable with skyping for our meetings- I live in Illinois but was having my wedding in Texas. I felt comfortable with them in minutes and even though it wasn't until the day of my wedding that they were actually able to take a picture of me they came out wonderfully! They were laid back and made us feel super comfortable which is impossible for me in front of a camera. Becki had a meeting the day before and lined out what portraits I wanted, so the in between wedding ceremony and reception pictures went super fast and I got right into the reception without missing alot. She was always there when I wanted to grab a pic with a friend and took wonderful detail photos before the wedding that I am so great full for now! You miss so much of the tiny details the day of and it is so nice to go back and see what you missed! Again- two wonderful, laid back and easy going people who will definitely provide you with the best photos to remember the big day forever! Thank you thank you thank you so much Becki and Ryan!

Hiring Becki and Ryan was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! We loved how down to Earth they both are, they really helped us to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Some of my favorite images from our wedding are the ones of us laughing and goofing off thanks to the Becki and Ryan's behind-the-scenes shenanigans! We just received our wedding album a few weeks back and had the best time sharing it with our family during the holidays. It is truly a work of art that will help us to relive our favorite day for the rest of our lives. Posing for picture after picture can be a weird experience, but Becki and Ryan made it a fun environment and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent taking pictures together. The photos turned out beautifully. We loved how they truly captured the emotions we were feeling along with capturing the beauty of the scenery.
