Direct quotes "Nevermind wedding meal, this was a top 5 meal of my LIFE," "I have never had good food at a wedding before this," "I'm from Kansas City and that's some of the best brisket I have ever had" "I'm still thinking about the scallops weeks later." The presentation was gorgeous, a coordinated reveal of the most gorgeous feast. And if possible, it tasted even better than it looked. Sally served as wedding coordinator for us until we hired her recommendation, she hired people to move our chairs, take care of our trash, she coordinated our tent rentals, and our tables and linens. And then on top of doing all of that, she delivered on the absolute best wedding food we have ever had. And we she left us leftovers of everything, including whatever produce went unused. We are still eating our leftover cheeseboard and pickles. Her food matched our love for eating, and made the meal that much more personal for us. Run, don't walk, to hire Sally and her team, if you are lucky enough to get them.

We had a wedding at a private residence, and Sally came many times over the year that we were planning to talk with us about the set up, measure for the tent, etc. She has strong relationships with other vendors (tents, furniture, etc) and was great at managing them on our behalf. She made our wedding planning so much easier! Both the food and presentation are exquisite, and the attention to detail and willingness to cater to our tastes and desires was exceptional. d Pickles are! Sally and the entire Smoke and Pickles team were incredible. Sally helped me and my partner with so many of the smaller details of planning, like liaising with the tent and furniture rental companies, connecting us with their and providing us with a seating chart template. She was basically our de facto wedding planner. On the day, her team were professional and pleasant. And the food. They created a huge appetizer buffet spread of meat, cheeses, pickles, etc. The passed apps were delicious. The main meal featured tender brisket and the showstopper of an immense whole roasted fish (there were 4 total to feel 120 guests!). Hire Smoke and Pickles if you want the most delicious, memorable catering ever for your event.

vendors that made our day so special. When it came down to food - everyone was thrilled with it. Everything from the passed apps (smoked bluefish is a must), main meal, the smoker, and display of it all was just amazing. We ended up choosing a sea bass which was so tasty and light, local/in season vegetables which were so so good and a steak with a chimichurri. Everyone left so happy and full and were looking for leftovers the next day. We love that Smoke and Pickles does everything in season and local because it just makes it so much more special and delicious. They were amazing and we'd book them again any day!

Sally completely set up, making everything look so beautiful, and also cleaned up and packed up for me at the end of the night. Every guest at my wedding could not say enough about how outstanding all of the food was. We had a great variety for guests to enjoy, and everything was local, fresh, and cooked to perfection! I'm vegetarian and my husband wanted BBQ, so Sally and the chef put together a menu that we both loved. The day of the event, I was blown away by the efficiency and professionalism of the S&P staff. The big smoker/grill parked next to the hall was a great first impression for our guests! I want to talk about Courtney for a minute. Courtney was the day-of coordinator and she saved me from losing my mind. She helped with EVERYTHING! She came to the rehearsal, she was at the venue early with me, she set up my centerpieces, she brought me cheese & pickles while we took photos, she worked with the MC to organize the buffet line, she kept me (kind of) on track with time, and made sure we had all our leftovers and centerpieces boxed up at the end of the night. You are amazing, Courtney!!

fessionalism. We could not have pulled off the wedding with out Sally and Arlyn's direction. We had an issue with the tables we rented and Sally pulled a last minute favor getting new tables from another company. Their prior experience with our wedding venue, Dragonline Studios, was invaluable. Arlyn even helped with the timing of each bridesmaid walking down the "aisle", they set our tables and flowers, everything ran so smoothly with them on our team. I've read other reviews and can join in saying multiple guests told us this was the best food they've ever had at a wedding and I have to agree (pat myself on the back for choosing S&P). From the cheese and pickles to whole roasted sea bass, every item that was served was delicious and presented beautifully. The smoked bluefish! Everyone had a different favorite from the cheese and pickles table, there was so much variety. We cannot rave or thank them enough.

start with Sally - she was great to work with, professional, flexible, communicative, and... most importantly she saved our wedding day from being ruined by one of our vendors. Our tent company failed to drop off multiple items and made too many mistakes to mention, but Sally used her contacts with other tent vendors to make sure we had everything we needed. Crisis averted! Sally did all of this with a sense of ease and grace, at no point were we overly stressed. She held down the fort amazingly while we enjoyed the day. Now for the food and catering... Wow! Seriously amazing food. Smoke and Pickles make their dishes from fresh and locally sourced produce, cheese, and fish/meat. We had multiple guests comment on how it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. A few examples - we had a cheese and taco bar for the cocktail hour, striped bass for dinner, in season vegetables, and possibly the best strawberry shortcake I've ever had. If Smoke and Pickles had a restaurant, we'd be there! If you're on the fence about using them for your wedding, get off the fence and give Sally a call!

Sally and her crew prepared one of the most beautiful and delicious meals I've had the pleasure of enjoying in 7 years of wedding planning. They run a tight ship with regard to quality of service, excellence in staffing and professionalism in execution. The food looked as good as it tasted and the guests were blown away by the refined-casual cuisine (the suckling pig was really what put the meal over-the-top!) perfect from the deliciously pickled appetizers to the main course as well as the smoke grilled preparation and presentation was awe-inspiring. From the beginning we could tell that Sally Huntington was no ordinary caterer. She went far out to her way to accommodate our budget, took our wishes into account at every turn and made wonderful suggestions on the meal choices. In the end, it was truly all about satisfying us and our gathering of 130 family members and friends, every one of whom are still raving about the food and service a month later. Having done past events at the location (The Overbrook House near Cape Cod, MA) Sally and her group were able to aid in logistics and even helped with the set up of the chairs for the ceremony and in the reception tent to ensure that the day ran smoothly. Sally is largely responsible for the “success” of the evening. She absolutely knows her stuff and her positive attitude is infectious. Her team was truly wonderful and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We cannot say enough about how much we appreciate having someone like her involved and consider her to be a part of our extended family. Smoke & Pickles uses only the best, locally-sourced foods and provides the absolute highest possible level of service with true genuine feeling. Top that off with their uncanny ability to make every event feel as unique as the participants and it’s easy to see why we would recommend them to anyone who needs catering for any event! I can’t say enough about Smoke and Pickles other than act quickly! This was the single-best decision we made for our wedding. From Day 1, Sally was attentive, sharp and an incredibly hard-worker. She completely understood my vision and offered ideas and solutions that fit within our style and our budget. Although she is way more than a caterer, I’ll start with the menu – she listened to what we loved and offered unique and fun options that our guests raved about, especially the lobster roll bar during the cocktail hour and the brisket at dinner and all the native vegetables. My only regret is not eating more! Sally’s team was incredible – again, way more than just caterers. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed (including changing the toilet paper in the bathroom trailers when the attendants seem to have disappeared!). Rather than ordering two sets of chairs, her team moved the ceremony chairs to the reception area immediately following the ceremony. Sally herself had six chairs at a time. They will hustle for you and make sure everything turns out just as you want it. Sally also knows everyone in the business so she served as way more than a caterter – she was also our coordinator for nearly everything. She managed our table rentals and gave vendor recommendations based on our style and budget. Sally asked our budget and worked within that to give us the most incredible wedding we could imagine. She even helped us find decorations by sorting through old furniture at her own house and at my husband’s parents’ house (where we had the ceremony and reception). When the chair rentals were wrong, she worked directly with the vendor to swap them within 12 hours. She oversaw everything and made sure that I wasn’t even aware of the snafus that arose. She has a calming affect that makes any bride feel at ease during a very hectic time!
