This was the best wedding food I have ever had. Smoke on the Hill BBQ made everything so smooth. They had everything set up beautifully and took care of anything. They served my wife and I first and they always made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Smoke in the Hills delivers an all around 5 star experience. From selecting your menu to headcount to service details and add ons, they provide a seamless experience!! We could not pull off our event without them! Their food is delicious (we had chicken caprese with green beans and homemade garlic mashed potatoes...YUM) The team is quick to answer calls and emails and wants you to have the BEST experience ever! I ask a lot of questions and need details and they are always so kind in explaining and helping me understand how catering works and how food service can flow. They delivered HOT food right on time to our event and our crowd raved over their dinner!! Thank you Smoke in the Hills@!!

We had Smoke in the Hills for our rehearsal dinner food because we wanted our out of town wedding guests to experience some good Texas bbq food and they did not disappoint! They came fully prepared, set up and took down the food, and even prepared extra plates for me and my husband to take home with us at the end of the night! Our guests were very pleased with the food, especially our out of town guests. I’d highly recommend them!

Kelly and her team are superior. They handled our wedding at ring mountain flawlessly. We had an array of bbq and deserts. They were on time and didn’t need any prompts to handle our guests. Don’t hesitate to hire them for your catering needs.

We cannot express just how amazing this catering company is! From the first time meeting Kelly and Brad at our food tasting, we were shown nothing but kindness and professionalism. After trying the food, we immediately knew that we had to book them to cater our wedding. Our guests raved about how great the food was all night. The appetizers pretty much flew off the trays before dinner. If you want some excellent barbecue, you don't need to look any further than Smoke in the Hills BBQ. The hardest part was choosing what to serve because everything was truly so delicious. You won't regret booking them for your event, we cannot recommend them enough. Side note: the strawberry lemonade is top notch as well!

We hired Smoke in the Hills to cater a rehearsal dinner held in San Antonio. The food was absolutely delicious and our out of town guests especially appreciated having great Texas BBQ! We had a truly amazing experience with smoke in the hills!! We worked with Kelly for 2 years! And from our very first tasting back in 2019 we knew having them at our wedding would be perfect. Their food is so delicious. We had appetizers, dinner, and dessert and everything was a huge hit! We are still getting compliments from our friends & family about how much they loved the food. (Kelly even did these super cute charcuterie cups & the creativity + care behind them was just the best) Kelly was wonderful — through all of our pandemic wedding changes she encouraged us, was patient & kind. They knocked it out of the park and I will recommend them to all my soon to be married friends!

We had an amazing experience with Smoke In The Hills! First of all, Kelly was extremely helpful throughout the whole process - from scheduling the tasting to feeding our wedding guests at the reception. The food was also absolutely delicious. We also needed a dessert table for the “groom’s cake” and it was very convenient to go through our caterer for brownies and pecan pie bars. My whole family was raving about the desserts and asking for recipes. We recommend this business to anyone. It was a pleasure to work with them!

If you love BBQ you have to book with Kelly and her family. We loved giving our money to a family owned business. The food is incredible but the joy they have in serving is also top notch. We received so many compliments from the guest on how great the food was and that was shown in the very minimal leftovers we had. I planned a wedding for April of 2020 and when Covid-19 happened I had to postpone it. Kelly was very helpful and accommodating when I had to reschedule my wedding. Both Kelly and her husband were very professional and helpful, from the first tasting we had, to their professional recommendations on other vendors and all the way up to the wedding day. Kelly always responded in a very timely manner when I had questions. On the day of the wedding, they were on time, for everyone through the buffet line quick and brought mine and my husbands food to our table before anyone else got their food. We received countless compliments on how good the food was and couldn’t be happier with our choice to do business with them.

There's no better caterer in the Hill Country! We LOVED Kelly and her team! Kelly was always responsive and gave great suggestions when choosing the menu so we knew from the beginning we had made the right choice! Most of our family was traveling from out of state so we wanted them to experience Texas bbq, and we are confident we were able to provide the best! All of our guests raved about the cocktail hour food, the bbq and the Blue Bell ice cream cart! Kelly was at our wedding and had plates ready for me and my husband when we sat down! We ate everything! The buffet lines worked seamlessly and efficiently. The team always had a smile on their face, they truly care about their clients! Not only do they offer a variety of delicious food but their pricing is reasonable and service is outstanding! They also catered my rehearsal dinner the night before. Smoke in the Hills was such an amazing part of our wedding night! They were punctual, professional, efficient, and incredibly kind. Not to mention the food was superb. We had brisket, chicken, mac and cheese, and salad, as well as 3 different apps (Texas caviar, jalapeno popper dip, and sliced sausage). The apps were an absolute must for our guests while my husband and I took pictures and absolutely everyone raved about dinner. On top of everything, I have a couple of difficult food allergies, lactose and garlic (and garlic is in pretty much everything). They made sure to set aside a plate for me per these conditions. I can't tell you how much stress it was off of me, not to have to worry about this during the wedding. I will always recommend them going forward, the food and service was impeccable and I really want to reiterate how professional and kind the entire team was, it really made an impression. We had Smoke In the Hills cater our outdoor wedding with cocktail hour appetizers and a buffet dinner. We were able to sample everything and pick our menu ahead of time. The food is delicious and priced well. The service at the wedding was seamless and professional. Fast server line, great table busing and clean up. They were so nice and had the sweetheart table filled up with our plates the moment we got to the reception for dinner after the cocktail hour photos. They also left us plenty of packaged leftovers, which we appreciated. I would definitely hire again!

Kelly and her team created an amazing experience for us and our guests. They were able to set up stations so the cocktail hour and reception flowed exactly how we wanted it to, swiftly from the ceremony into dancing! The barbecue, mac and cheese bar, spinach salad, and appetizers were all amazing! The barbecue was the biggest hit, smoky, juicy, with amazing flavor. We saved it and enjoyed it for days after on our mini-moon in Fredericksburg. Working with Kelly was easy and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone considering it. The value was amazing as well.

Smoke in the Hills BBQ is absolutely outstanding in all aspects. They let us come sample on a spur of the moment and the food was incredible. I was so impressed with how organized, polite, and professional that Kelly and her family are. I had so many guests complimenting how delicious the brisket and chicken were. The guests were also asking for more of the sausage appetizers and the Texas Caviar. Smoke in the Hills is the only caterer I will use if I need one in the Boerne area.
