We cannot express just how amazing this catering company is! From the first time meeting Kelly and Brad at our food tasting, we were shown nothing but kindness and professionalism. We had an amazing experience with Smoke In The Hills! First of all, Kelly was extremely helpful throughout the whole process - from scheduling the tasting to feeding our wedding guests at the reception. The food was also absolutely delicious. We also needed a dessert table for the “groom’s cake” and it was very convenient to go through our caterer for brownies and pecan pie bars. My whole family was raving about the desserts and asking for recipes. We recommend this business to anyone. It was a pleasure to work with them!

If you love BBQ you have to book with Kelly and her family. We loved giving our money to a family owned business. The food is incredible but the joy they have in serving is also top notch. We received so many compliments from the guest on how great the food was and that was shown in the very minimal leftovers we had. I planned a wedding for April of 2020 and when Covid-19 happened I had to postpone it. Kelly was very helpful and accommodating when I had to reschedule my wedding. Both Kelly and her husband were very professional and helpful, from the first tasting we had, to their professional recommendations on other vendors and all the way up to the wedding day. Kelly always responded in a very timely manner when I had questions. On the day of the wedding, they were on time, for everyone through the buffet line quick and brought mine and my husbands food to our table before anyone else got their food. We received countless compliments on how good the food was and couldn’t be happier with our choice to do business with them.

There's no better caterer in the Hill Country! We LOVED Kelly and her team! Kelly was always responsive and gave great suggestions when choosing the menu so we knew from the beginning we had made the right choice! Most of our family was traveling from out of state so we wanted them to experience Texas bbq, and we are confident we were able to provide the best! All of our guests raved about the cocktail hour food, the bbq and the Blue Bell ice cream cart! Kelly was at our wedding and had plates ready for me and my husband when we sat down! We ate everything! The buffet lines worked seamlessly and efficiently. The team always had a smile on their face, they truly care about their clients! Smoke in the Hills was such an amazing part of our wedding night! They were punctual, professional, efficient, and incredibly kind. Not to mention the food was superb. We had brisket, chicken, mac and cheese, and salad, as well as 3 different apps (Texas caviar, jalapeno popper dip, and sliced sausage). The apps were an absolute must for our guests while my husband and I took pictures and absolutely everyone raved about dinner. On top of everything, I have a couple of difficult food allergies, lactose and garlic (and garlic is in pretty much everything). They made sure to set aside a plate for me per these conditions. I can't tell you how much stress it was off of me, not to have to worry about this during the wedding. I will always recommend them going forward, the food and service was impeccable and I really want to reiterate how professional and kind the entire team was, it really made an impression. We had Smoke In the Hills cater our outdoor wedding with cocktail hour appetizers and a buffet dinner. We were able to sample everything and pick our menu ahead of time. The food is delicious and priced well. The service at the wedding was seamless and professional. Fast server line, great table busing and clean up. They were so nice and had the sweetheart table filled up with our plates the moment we got to the reception for dinner after the cocktail hour photos. They also left us plenty of packaged leftovers, which we appreciated. I would definitely hire again!

Kelly and her team created an amazing experience for us and our guests. They were able to set up stations so the cocktail hour and reception flowed exactly how we wanted it to, swiftly from the ceremony into dancing! The barbecue, mac and cheese bar, spinach salad, and appetizers were all amazing! The barbecue was the biggest hit, smoky, juicy, with amazing flavor. We saved it and enjoyed it for days after on our mini-moon in Fredericksburg. Working with Kelly was easy and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone considering it. The value was amazing as well.

Smoke in the Hills BBQ is absolutely outstanding in all aspects. They let us come sample on a spur of the moment and the food was incredible. I was so impressed with how organized, polite, and professional that Kelly and her family are. I had so many guests complimenting how delicious the brisket and chicken were. The guests were also asking for more of the sausage appetizers and the Texas Caviar. Smoke in the Hills is the only caterer I will use if I need one in the Boerne area.

Smoke in the Hills BBQ catered my sister’s wedding back in September at our family ranch just outside of Boerne. They were absolutely phenomenal throughout the whole event! The food was great and the staff was kind and attentive and never once got in the way. People got in line and got their food right away AND THEN they went though and pick up empty plates and offered to get refills. They saved all the left over food for my sister and her husband to keep and they cleaned up and got out of there quickly and easily. After the night was over they asked if there was anything else they could do or if they could help in any way before leaving. They exceeded expectations and I highly recommend!

Kelly and Brad were great to work with! Our daughter’s wedding was fairly large (325), and it poured all day. They were amazing. They had to do some maneuvering around, but they did what needed to be done and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and I was able to focus completely on enjoying the reception.

The brisket just melts in your mouth! Yes, I did taste it on my wedding night, I made sure I did :) Everything was so delicious! We had brisket, chicken, cream corn, potato salad, and spinach feta salad for our menu. A few weeks before the wedding we decided to add appetizers to our order, and this was no problem at all. We added the Texas caviar, jalapeno popper dip and white queso. We are so glad that we did, our guests were so impressed with the food and also thought it was delicious. The BEST BBQ you'll find in the San Antonio area. My mouth waters just thinking about how great their food is. Not only that, it's owned and operated by the sweetest family! Talk about some hard workers. They show up early, stay late and dress very professional. We had 400+ guests and they had everyone fed within 15 minutes. Oh my goodness!! This food was delicious, we had nothing but compliments all night long from our guests on how delicious the food was. Kelly and her family were absolutely AMAZING! I sampled their food at a Bridal Expo in June 2017 and after scheduling a few caterer tastings, it was clear I wanted to go with Smoke in the Hills BBQ! Even though our wedding was in San Antonio, their prices were FAR MORE affordable than any local caterer I found, even with a delivery fee. I HIGHLY recommend the chicken, my guests would not stop raving about how delicious the chicken was! On top of having fantastic food (their potatoes are delicious!), their service was top notch. Not only did they feed the guests, but also fed our DJ, security team, AND ladies working the snack bar at our venue AND they attended each table for clean up! My groom and I didn't have to lift a finger as everything was served to us! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Smoke in the Hills BBQ - thank you for helping make our day deliciously amazing!

Kelly and her family team made the wedding rehearsal dinner for our son and future bride and all the families fantastic. The whole team was quick and efficient at setting up in the conference room we reserved at the hotel in Boerne. And then once the food started coming in, the scents made everyone hungry to begin the feast. We chose a 3 meat and 3 sides plate with 3 desserts for the ending. Everything was very tasty, portions were good size and we even had leftovers to take home. And this was one of the best BBQ meals I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot of BBQ in a lot of states! I would highly recommend Smoke in the Hills BBQ for the taste, the price, the food choices and of course the friendliness!
