Smoky Mountain Elopement Company is based in Western North Carolina, and we specialize in small, intimate weddings and elopements in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. We do not take weddings with more than 30 guests, as we believe in the value of an intentionally small wedding experience, and we don’t travel outside our area — we focus on making local celebrations stress-free, personal, and unforgettable.
Think of us as your one-stop wedding shop: we handle everything from fully customizable ceremonies to legal paperwork, professional photography, fresh-cut flower bouquets, and even a custom wedding cake. Our goal is to take the stress out of planning so you can relax, enjoy your day, and soak in the beauty of your surroundings.

- Sarah DooleyOwner/Lead PhotographerSarah has photographed hundreds of weddings since she began her photography journey in 2019. She is from Orlando, Florida, but has called Western North Carolina home for over 8 years. She has a love for true crime, dogs, coffee, and chasing waterfalls. In her free time, she is often found in the garden, tubing down the river, or snuggled up on the couch with her cats. After planning her own wedding, and realizing how expensive and stressful it was, she became more and more passionate about offering a budget friendly and stress free way for couples to get married. She firmly believes that getting married should be an exciting time in a couples lives together, not something that causes them to be emotionally or financially burdened.
