Considering we had never met or discussed my needs, she arrived on time and we started the conversation that lead to a perfect hair and make up style all within a couple of hours. The standard bridal package (hair/make up) is $160 and worth every penny. She came to my hotel room which certainly made it less stressful. No running around. She brings a huge case of make up and hair items necessary; she had every shade of colour and matched my skin appropriately. My make up didn't feel heavy or oily, just felt natural and it stayed in place when I was emotional at the alter. I went with the glam look, fake lashes and all, and have had nothing but compliments. My hair is typically fine and therefore lays flat, Kelly styled it and for the first time ever I had volume! This didn't happen at once though. We discussed a few possibilities and she did as I asked and if I didn't like it, she simply started again until I was satisfied. There were no issues and no hassles. Kelly is very professional and listens to your needs and concerns and like all brides, I wanted to look my best and I did! Next time I'm in Vegas, I would hire Kelly to do my hair/make up just for a night out. Thank you for making my wedding memories so happy!!

She immediately put me at ease. After talking for a few minutes she understood the vintage look I wanted and managed to take my ideas to a whole other level! When I saw myself after she was done I couldn’t believe it. I felt so confident and beautiful....which is exactly what all brides want on their wedding day! Every person who has seen the pictures has agreed Kelly did a phenomenal job!! I truly cannot thank her enough or recommend her more! She is unbelievable!!

And my hair came out exactly how I wanted it to (it looked just like, if not better, than the picture I showed her for inspiration). And her placement of my blusher (veil) was beautiful; even better than I pictured it in my mind. My makeup also came out gorgeous. It was natural-looking, but still gave me an extra pop for my special day. I did not buy the airbrush package, but my makeup stayed on all through the night. My appointment was at noon and I didn't go to sleep until about 2am, so that is definitely saying something! Kelly is super talented and wonderful. I wish I lived closer to Vegas, so I could use her again!

r prices the most reasonable and the quality was excellent, I really loved my hair and got lots of comments about it, and she managed to do my hair and make up for my hen (bachelorette) party too am my trial, which worked out really well. I'd recommend Kelly and use her again if the need arose.

ugh a practice run, but I brought pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like, and they made my hair exactly the way I wanted. The wedding took place during the heatwave when it was 110 outside, and since our ceremony was outside I was worried about my make up running. Kelly recommended me to use the airbrush makeup, and it stayed for the entire duration of the wedding. I definitely recommend Smooth Brides!

other girl. The week before the wedding I emailed to confirm that it would be only me getting hair and makeup. Apparently 1 person was not enough business for her and she said there was an additional $50 charge for 1 person; something that was NOT mentioned at any time. She said that it was the busiest day of the year for her and it wasn't worth her time to come to the strip for just 1 person. We agreed to cancel my appointment and she also agreed to refund my deposit since she cancelled the appointment. Since then, trying to get a refund from her has been incredibly difficult. She ultimately only sent part of the deposit back. She is incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL in her business dealings and not a vendor I would recommend using. As a note, this is the ONLY review I have posted. I have not created other accounts to post about her as her comment claims.

lly was so great keeping in contact and prompt answering any questions that I had. She called me the night before the wedding to confirm the room and what time she would be there. To my surprise, she was early and made it to my parents room before I did! By the time I got there, they were all set up and ready for me. I was delighted that my hair and makeup only took about a half hour altogether and I LOVED how I looked! Both of the ladies were lovely and sweet and made me feel very comfortable while they bother worked on me at the same time. I would love to get my hair and makeup done by them every time we visit Vegas just so I could look as good as they made me! Their prices are surprisingly affordable for the service they provide (especially since they will come to any hotel on the strip without an extra fee.) They made me look and feel like a million dollars and my husband said I was glowing I looked so pretty! Thank you Kelly! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anybody look for good quality hair and makeup that's affordable and professional! Thank you again Kelly! You're AMAZING!

so I totally relied on reviews to make my decision. I wasn’t sure if I would have a rental car and I wasn’t familiar with getting around Vegas at all. So, the idea of having someone come to my room seemed great to me! Now that I have been to Vegas I learned that getting anywhere in Vegas takes longer than you expect so having someone come to my room was priceless and a stress reducer! Why I picked Smooth Brides: Getting someone you are not familiar with to do your hair and makeup is worrisome especially for something as important as your wedding and is documented with hundreds of pictures! Communication prior to the event was outstanding. Kelly answered all my questions promptly and was flexible with scheduling. She was responsive and professional. I read all her reviews which were mostly all positive except for a few random ones. I’m a big review reader and have learned to read between the lines and pick out things that are important to me. I disregarded the negative comments. I looked at the pictures on her website and felt that she had the style and look I was going for. I wanted a beautiful, romantic, bridal look and not a made-up runway model look. I also liked that all the reviews mentioned that Kelly herself did the bridal hair and makeup. She promotes her experience and you actually get her expertise without having to pay an extra fee for it. The reviews mentioned that she was punctual as well, another plus. Trial Run: I was impressed with the service and very pleased that I chose Smooth Brides. I made the decision to do a trial run prior to the wedding day. I wanted to meet Kelly, see how the hair and makeup would hold up and get friends’/family’s opinions as well. I especially wanted to try out the airbrush makeup since I’ve never had it done before and I’ve seen mixed reviews about how it can dry out your skin and mis-coloring. The trial run went well and Kelly was on time. The makeup looked great and did not dry out my face (I tend to have oily skin). The updo was just what I was looking for and lasted all night even after I zip lined down Freemont Street! The Big Day: The day of the wedding went just as well. Kelly and her assistant Blanca arrived on time and did my hair and airbrush makeup and three bridesmaids’ hairdos as well. They were done with time to spare. The girls were very pleased with the results and the fact that their hair looked good all night and in Vegas that can mean until the next morning! One girl told me her hair even looked good after she woke up the next day. I LOVED my hair and makeup and it too lasted all night. I’m glad I had the trial run because I asked her to kick the makeup up a notch. The previous look was good in person but didn’t translate to a photo as well. We discussed adding fake eyelashes (the one thing my fiancé asked me NOT to do for fear of looking fake). After seeing Kelly’s selection of lashes and hearing her explanation I went for it! They looked great and added that little something extra. The best part was that my fiancé never even knew they were there until I confessed at the end of the night. Great job, Kelly!

No, I am no Frankenstein, but Kelly is a magician! I had airbrush make-up done for the first time ever and loved it! I need one of these machines in my house. The make-up lasted for HOURS until I washed it off and my hair went perfectly with my dress. The second night Kelly wowed me even more. She has such a talent and skill for combining colors to compliment your skin tone and what you are wearing so that you end up looking like a million dollars. At each event there was a professional photographer present to take souvenir pictures. Mine came out fantastic and I got so many compliments and turned heads. ;) I will be returning to Vegas in 2012 and I will be giving Ms. Kelly a call. I know I spoke of the quality of Kelly's work, but just as important was the customer service part of the experience. Kelly makes you feel comfortable, like her most important client, and her overall demeanor is very disarming. She wants your feedback while she is working to assure your 100% satisfaction and happiness. She is wonderful. Book Smooth Brides - you won't be disappointed.

t my hair and makeup. Kelly showed up about 15 minutes early to my hotel and was happy to offer to get a cup of coffee if I wasn't yet ready. I had extensions in my hair and Kelly was able to work with them easily. I described what I wanted and she constantly checked with me to make sure I still liked it. My hair was curled exactly as loose as I wanted it, and did not move for the rest of the night without looking too shellacked. The makeup was also flawless. I was very nervous about using the airbrush, since I didn't want to look like I was wearing a mask. I typically do not wear foundation, but this looked so completely natural, I want to buy the machine myself! All of her makeup was MAC, which is my favorite and she applied it perfectly. I had originally wanted individual eyelashes, but Kelly suggested the full set. They looked amazing. I told her that I didn't want to look like a hooker, but wanted a little bit of drama on the eyes. Kelly delivered. Though I didn't have a full "reception" with dancing, my makeup stayed perfectly for several hours. I didn't need to touch up a thing and not one thing ran, smudged, or creased. The makeup also looks amazing in the pictures. VERY reasonably priced (I'm from New York) and would HIGHLY recommend!

uess the hotel lighting wasnt great but I did think she would have planned for that. :( I knew I had wayyyy too much contouring on my forehead and it matcned my blush which was odd....a deep bronze on my fair skin...I also had asked for a vew subtle lashes to be added but NOT a full set...I ended up with eyelashes that were so flipped out at the ends that I truly dont look like myself in my wedding photos. My lips were super pale but in a whiteish way, not a natural way. I also opted for airbrush...I was super excited....Maybe what happened is my fault because I did deeply exfoliate the morning of...but my airbrush was so dry, every subtle wrinkle, laugh line, and crease was spotlighted. I am usually known for having great skin and looking younger than my 38 yrs. Put it this way, our photographer took 400 photos of our big day and we could barely find 25 that were decent enough to pay for. :( Again, I loved Kelly...she is great...and my hair was lovely. But my makeup was clownish and I am thankful that we didnt let it ruin our day....but it has tarnished the memory due to the lack of photos capturing the day. akeup was awesome! It stayed on all night and the pictures look flawless. My hair was amazing. She put my extensions in and curled it all for me to wear it down. I think I went 2 days without washing it... haha. The curls lasted until I washed it. There was no need for touching up hair or makeup during anytime of the night. Not even my lipstick! Kelly herself was easy going. She made you feel comfortable, like it was my sister doing my hair. She was prepared and on time, which is something brides worry about on the big day. I did not do a trial run,it was a destination wedding for me. I highly recommend her to anyone needing hair and makeup done for any occassion. You can't go wrong with Smooth Brides, I wish I could afford to fly her out to KY where I live to do mine on every occassion.

p, we all did air brush was the best! I loved the way the makeup turned out. To avoid running around and to keep us all together, having them come to our room was the best decision we made.
