Smoov was a great choice for our wedding! No guests had a bad word to say about the music played. Daniel, the owner and DJ for the night, was top notch! Very respectful, enjoyable and made sure the communication throughout the night was on point! Their planning system was super easy to use. Admittedly, we were running a bit behind on music selections, but Daniel kept us updated on due dates. I would 100% recommend Smoov!

Smoov Music did an amazing job DJing our wedding! Our DJ Connor worked with us before our wedding to talk through our music selection + to better understand our music taste. We had requested quite a few songs not typically heard at a usual wedding reception, and he had no problem finding and playing the music we requested. Connor did a GREAT job reading the room knowing when to start playing music geared toward our friends and younger family members. We had a full dance floor for almost the entire night! Connor handled our guest's music requests with no problem considering the variety of genres requested and everyone had such a great time on the dance floor. I cannot stress not important it was to find & have a DJ that can read the room and dance floor and to know when to change things up. We've attended MANY weddings in the last 2 years from various friends & family, and Smoov Music was easily one of the best wedding DJs we've experienced at weddings (no bias with this being our own wedding). Smoov music absolutely crusted our October wedding! They were super communicative and professional throughout the entire process. A part of our wedding music was in Arabic and our dj Shaun clearly did his research before and played the perfect mix of Arabic and American music. I gave him a pretty lengthy list of songs and he picked the perfect ones to play at the perfect moment. Me and my husband did not leave the dance floor the entire night and were super grateful for the care and attention to detail that smoov music took in preparing for our wedding.

Our DJ did an absolutely fantastic job! I was a little nervous because DJs aren't a vendor you can pre-listen to like a band, but I had nothing to worry about! Everyone at our wedding said that the best part was the dance floor and that was because of our DJ. He rocked it. My dad had a surprise song combo for our father-daughter dance and our DJ had no problem accommodating him. They went above and beyond. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved working with Smoov music! Daniel was timely and responsive leading up to the wedding, and once we had our DJ assigned I knew we were in good hands. Our DJ Shaun was easy to work with and understood our musical vibe right away. The portal was a crucial and awesome tool in helping us build our music library. We hired Smoov Music for our wedding ceremony and reception and were very happy with them! Mason was our original DJ but got sick the day before the wedding. Daniel (the owner) filled in at the last minute and was very professional and responsive. I was pretty particular about the songs I wanted to play and was worried about finding a DJ that would allow me to create a playlist. Smoov Music gives you access to a tool on their website where you can add "must plays", "maybe plays" and "do not plays", which I really appreciated! The night went great and there were no issues with their lighting or sound equipment. I highly recommend Smoov Music!

We hired smoov music for our wedding on 11.5.22 and they were great! They also were the DJ for my sisters wedding in 2021 and both times they kept the dance floor full. We worked with Sean and he was great at reading the room and playing songs that got people up and grooving. The colored lights are also really fun... made it feel like a real party. Smooth was phenomenal! We constantly had guest complement the music and that the dance floor was always full. In addition, the uplighting was perfect for our venue. The photo booth was stellar as well, we got copies of each photo strip and used it as our guest book. Our original dj last minute couldn’t make it and Daniel stepped in. He was fantastic, easy to work with always on top of the event tasks. Their online portal made it easy to communicate and plan the event from speeches, first dance to dedicated songs.

The first time we experienced Smoov Music was at a wedding we attended over 3 years ago. It was one of the best weddings we’ve ever been to and always hoped to have them for our special day as well. Needless to say, we had pretty high expectations for Smoov Music and yet they somehow managed to exceed them. Tony and Paul were fun, professional and genuinely cared about us and our special day from beginning to end. They were prompt, organized and easy to communicate with. We had so many extra stresses leading up to our day because of COVID but thanks to Tony’s expertise and guidance, making sure everyone would still have a good time was one less thing we had to worry about. We knew Tony and Paul would show up for us/give it their all and it is easy to say they completely made our wedding. We worked most closely with Tony and wanted to address him specifically in our reviews as we can’t thank him enough for everything he did. He worked tirelessly to perfect our playlist and even sent us updates, helping to get us excited for our big day (which sadly was easy to forget given everything going on/us not knowing if it would just be cancelled). He also checked in to see how we were feeling leading up to our day and always made sure we knew he was available for any questions or concerns. Being able to hear “Don’t worry, we’ll take care of it” and truly being able to believe it goes a long way when trying to plan a wedding. A lot of vendors promise such things but Tony and Smoov Music is one of the few that actually deliver. We’ve been to a lot of weddings and can confidently say Smoov Music is the best in the business. If you want to host a great time, Tony and Smoov Music are your guys.

For all of you brides (and grooms) that love being organized, you need to hire Smoov Music as your DJ! We had to postpone our Saturday, May wedding to a Friday night in August and Smoov Music was so patient and understanding. The back and forth email communication was good and their web portal with planning documents is super thorough! Andrew, our DJ, was great to work with and easy to chat with on the phone in the weeks leading up. Smoov did both our ceremony and reception music and handled a last minute song change for our processional really well. Kept everyone dancing too even during a pandemic. I met Daniel the owner at Wed MKE and he was great to talk to and presented the company very well! Ever since then he had great communication with me throughout the entire process. From the first day we met Daniel (Owner) at the State Fair Expo it was nothing but a positive experience all the way through wedding day. This is an extremely professional company and they communicate very well through the entire process. Tony (DJ) was incredible. 11/10 stars. Smoov Music was a great DJ for us. We had been to a wedding previously with them, and fell in love. We made sure to hire them for our wedding, and everything was super easy, they were quick to respond, and we had a great time. They kept us informed when things came up on their end, and when we had a technical problem with a DVD we had made, the owner came out and helped us fix it himself. They did a great job.

Go to any Wedding Expo and you'll realize there are a LOT of "bro"y DJs out there. Found DJ Smoov at an expo and was immediately glad at how nice and not kitschy they were, and for a reasonable price. Very much recommend. -- Their website made it very easy to relay details about timing for our big day and specific instructions, and made it very simple to list out specific song requests (and a do not play list). -- We were assigned our specific DJs about a month in advance of the wedding. Kevin and Shawn did a fantastic job at our reception. They kept the dance floor full all night, were very chill when our vendor had a mix up with their food, and were totally self sufficient for setup and take down. -- The uplighting was a big factor in why we selected Smoov as well. They switched up colors after dinner, which allowed us to get a lot of very cool and different looking photos during the dancing and reception.

Andy was a pleasure to work with. He truly understood our vibe for the day and kept the music flowing all night. Awesome value!

We knew Smoov Music was a great partner from the beginning. We had a consultation with Andy, our lead DJ, about a month before the wedding. He went over any details we had questions about and made sure he knew all the logistics for our big day. Their extensive list of music had almost everything we needed, and when I asked for a few extra songs so we could have them for our ceremony, Daniel and Andy we quick to buy them and make it happen for us. Our wedding day was such a wild success, and we are so grateful for Daniel and his team pulling everything together for us. When Andy arrived for our ceremony, we weren't able to connect with him because we were so busy taking photos and everything else. Even still, he made everything for ceremony music and our live singers go smoothly! Following the ceremony, the transition indoors for cocktail hour was perfect. Everyone enjoyed their drinks to the wonderful sounds of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. We kept the night moving and had an exciting grand march, and people would not stop giving us compliments about how great the music was all night long. Our dance floor was PACKED. We also threw Andy a couple curve balls with a birthday announcement we requested and some fun light up glow sticks we had him hand out to the crowd. He was quick to jump in and handle whatever we needed him to! A huge thank you to him and the way Smoov Music runs their business. We were so impressed throughout the night!

Joe and I had our wedding in September of this year and it was such a blast thanks to Smoov Music!! Nick and Josh were the absolute best and kept the party going all the way until the end!! During the planning portion, Daniel the owner, was always easy to get a hold of to answer questions and give suggestions. Daniel and his assistant, Kevin, played everything for us throughout the evening except for the bridal party and bridal processional (we had acoustic guitars for that). They were PHENOMENAL- with the music they played, locating hard to find songs, reading the crowd & being INCREDIBLY responsive via email throughout the entire planning. Their online planning forms are GREAT! Daniel and Kevin seemed to have a great time at the wedding and MAJOR KUDOS for doing a neon light show for the 30+ little kiddos at the wedding-- they went nuts! Great service!!! They worked with us to make our day perfect! It was my parents anniversary and Danny worked separately with them to create a beautiful song collage for them to dance to. Can’t say enough about Danny and Kristin (his wife did the photobooth) it was a hit!

We want to thank Andrew and his fellow DJ at Smoov Music Sound and Lighting Services for making our wedding special. We are so happy with the service both him and Daniel provided and could not have asked for a better DJ to host of our wedding. Smoov Music is very professional and takes your day seriously. Well before the wedding, they met with us to understand our needs. They even came to the venue walkthrough to make sure everything was perfect. Andrew (our assigned DJ) was everything that we could have hoped for. He took the time to make sure pronunciation of names was accurate. He was able to play special songs that we provided links to. He was able to read the crowd, play what we asked, but also allowed others to provide song suggestions. He understood tempos and mixing songs to ensure the dance floor was always full. He went above and beyond expectations and could not recommend him enough. The up-lighting in our space was amazing and the DJ lights were to the next level. We have a friend who DJs and said “He was very impressed with the equipment, the sounds, and the lighting was on point.” When you pick a DJ company, you don’t always know what you get. We are very happy that we went with Smoov Music and would choose them again for another event.

Smoov Music provided us an incredible DJ, Tony. He took our thoughts into account and provided his own guidance and recommendations, which turned out to make our wedding day that much more special. Tony DJ’d the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception at a venue he hadn’t been to before, and it all went seamless. He played great music and kept the dance floor packed! Smoov music was fun and easy to work with from start to finish. My husband and I could not have been happier and we had several people inquire about them to use for future DJ services. I also had inquired about a special first dance song, combining a couple of our favs and without hesitation, this was put together for us and sounded exactly how I wanted. If there were two goals my husband and I had from the first day we started planning our wedding, it was that we wanted to throw a great party for the people we love, without causing ourselves so much stress in the process that we couldn’t enjoy it. Smoov Music was not only able to accomplish those goals, but it was probably the most painless part of planning the entire wedding - which is truly the highest compliment I can give! We completed the online forms detailing information on the reception, bridal party, schedule for the night, and music preferences, and I really loved that it didn’t require a ridiculous amount of time or effort - unless you wanted to be extremely specific, in which case, you probably wouldn’t mind! Daniel was SO quick to return emails and answer questions, and he even reached out to connect with us the week of the wedding to be sure we were on the same page and to make sure things would go as smoothly as possible. In all the craziness of wedding week prep, we forgot to call him back, but he rolled with the punches and demonstrated what a true professional he is! He connected with us wuickly when we arrived at the reception and hit the ground running. He read the crowd perfectly and had people on the dance floor all night long, starting with the very first song. They were quick to check with us to see how we felt about the music, if we wanted any changes made, and accommodated any requests quickly and happily. Not only were they clearly good at what they do, but they were also extremely respectful and down to earth. We received so many compliments throughout the night (and continue to hear) from our friends and family about how great the music was. We couldn’t agree more! I have no doubt that had we made more requests/adjustments throughout the night that they would have made it work effortlessly, but what I really wanted was to NOT have to be concerned with the details of anything else at that point, and Smoov Music completely stepped up to the plate, hit it out of the ballpark, and allowed us to be fully present in the moment for our reception. We would not have changed one thing about that night and so much of that is because of the wonderful job Smoov Music did from start to finish. Can not recommend their services enough!

I could not be happier with the service provided at my wedding! Smoov Music made a fantastic day even better than I ever could have imagined. DJ Josh did a fantastic job of keeping the dance floor packed all night and Kristen was incredibly friendly and helpful at the photo booth all night!
