Stacy turned the photos around in record time and put some much love into editing and finetuning each photo. She was SO intentional and detailed when it came to what shots to take and where to take them. Stacy worked with us after the wedding to put together our album and we seriously sat with her for 4 hours drinking wine with happy tears rolling down our faces. She also hand delivered our album and I was so sad to hug her goodbye. I am so thankful I chose her team to shoot our wedding. he was extremely understanding and took this aspect seriously. We were able to get all of the photos we wanted, as quickly as possible!!! She was amazing while taking pics of the bridal party getting ready, seemingly getting tons of action and candid shots, which I had told her would be our favorite. ous about the wedding day timeline, but Stacy arrived 15 minutes early and was ready to go when she arrived. Everything flowed beautifully that day and I even told my husband afterwards that I didn't even remember seeing Stacy at our reception. She was great at 'hiding' herself yet still getting great shots. Stacy is very professional, has a wonderful personality and is easy to work with. I was also happy very with her timeline on posting 'sneak peak' photos on her blog. I recommend her 110%!

tic, fun personality, but as others have noted, she is all business when it comes to execution on the "day of" for your events, as well as the final product. We presented perhaps the greatest challenge she's ever had a wedding - the groom was hospitalized and missed the entire dinner and reception. Stacy and her team didn't miss a beat, and she very graciously (at no extra cost) met with us again a week after the wedding to "recreate the day" so we could indeed have hundreds of beautiful photos, even if my husband missed the main event. The thing we liked the best was that her technique covers the wide spectrum of candid, casual shots to very formal, artistic portraits. She also clearly had good relationships with our other vendors, which is important in a town like Austin.

d Stacy for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. I interviewed her at her studio and liked her laid-back nature. I felt we could work with her. Also, we liked her candid shots. Some photographers had portfolios that looked too staged or too much like you were buying a high school yearbook. Her casual shots were very natural-looking and we decided on her. To my surprise her nature at the studio was completely different than at the wedding and the dinner because she was all business on those days. It's a compliment to how seriously she takes her job - she was the complete pro. Our pictures were just fantastic! We were very impressed with her editing and cleanup of each picture - there are no shots of guests dripping in sweat, no shots of closed eyes, and no shots of me sobbing to the altar. She never got in the way, she never tripped over people - it was like she wasn't even in the room. Our only regret was not hiring her to be at our engagement party - it never occurred to us to have a photographer there. I would recommend to other brides to have the photographer at *all wedding-related events*. That way you will have a record of the entire process.

Especially as we were doing portraits on a Saturday night on 6th street with loads of people watching us. Its not easy to look natural when all eyes are on you but she was PROFESSIONAL AND FOCUSED. SMS Photography came prepared, knew what to do and worked great with other vendors. Oh and yes handled the Mother of the Bride whom wanted last minute pics of everyone.
