⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jenny was amazing at our wedding! She kept the dance floor packed all night and totally nailed the vibe we wanted. Everyone loved the music. If you want an awesome party, book DJ Jenny!

I hate to say it, but we were not at all impressed. In talking with Jenny ahead of time, she seemed like a passionate and professional DJ and MC. What we got was someone who basically hit “play” on a playlist that looked similar to what we provided while sitting down behind a table the whole night and occasionally making unenthusiastic announcements. The big things: -As the bride I didn’t know until after, but our 3 song processional turned into 4 songs as a random song was played while my mom walked down the aisle. Luckily she did play the 3 we asked for after that, but we’re not sure where that first one came from. -I had put together a 4-song compilation for our introductions, and there were 4 groups to be introduced. Could I have given her more detailed instructions? Sure. But I thought it was self explanatory enough. Instead of announcing one group per song, she ran right through the introductions, making the time and effort I put into it a waste and messing up how we wanted our most important people introduced. She also cut the final song short, going right into our first dance, which leads me to... -We had choreographed our first dance, starting right at the beginning of the song, but with her blending it with our intro song, we were not in position and missed the beginning of our first dance. -Similarly, the father daughter song, which she knew was important to me, started while my dad and I were still on the other side of the room and not at all in position to begin dancing. -She only played 1 out of the 4 line dances I asked her to (I can’t believe I didn’t get to do the electric slide at my wedding!) -Topping it all off was our last song of the night. “All My Life” which naturally fades out to a beautiful ending, and instead she cut it off and then that was it. Party over. Those of us left on the dance floor just sort of looked at each other and my MOH says “that was abrupt…” So, if I had to say some good things, she was there on time and had the right equipment, and played a lot of the songs I asked her to. But, I could have saved A LOT of money by just setting up an iPad and some speakers. I was hoping for a DJ and an MC who would play the right things at the right time and help guide my guests’ attention in the right way, and provide entertainment, not just play a playlist. TL;DR: From playing the wrong song at the beginning of our processional, to messing up our introductions at the start of the reception to cutting our last song short at the end, we were underwhelmed at best, and overall left frustrated and disappointed with our experience.

We had a great experience with Snapdragon! First of all, I want to shout out the flexibility. Our ceremony happened in the middle of a VERY rainy evening, but we had a forty-ish minute break in the weather. In a flash, Jenny and her wonderful assistant Pete got us all set up with music and mic-ing for our ceremony to make good on that window. The one lapel mic was perfectly set to pick up our officiant, me and my now-husband, so that was a super slick-feeling experience. It was a relief to not have to think too hard about leaning in or passing things around in our already-full hands (vows, rings, handkerchiefs in turns, etc). We also had a little delay with our flower child taking an extra long linger to scatter additional petals at the top of the aisle, but Jenny kept the song running a little longer than actually planned to cover for the extra time and was smoothly able to fade out before the bridge of our aisle song got too silly. It was a good improvised cut point! The real highlight of the wedding was our dance floor. Jenny did a fantastic arrangement with the kind of music we requested (60s-70s hits with some 90s and a small sprinkling of more modern songs blended in). The ebb and a flow of dance/chill songs felt very natural, and thanks to Jenny my one wedding wish of a bustling dance floor was fulfilled! Jenny also did a great job adapting to energy levels–when my dad and I went a *little* overboard for our first dance and had to take a bow for the last thirty seconds, Jenny was clearly paying attention and gracefully faded us into the next song. A+ experience–our guests all had a blast and the DJ is a huge part of what makes or breaks that vibe. I would highly recommend Snapdragon’s services!

Jenny and Snapdragon were extremely kind and accommodating. We were able to use the music we wanted, she did a wonderful job making our eclectic taste work for a wedding setting. We didn't really do dancing, and we had a couple of guests who had special needs, and Jenny was wonderful with making sure everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you for all you did for us!

Jenny was AWESOME! My wedding planner did all the coordination with her, so I didn’t really speak with her before our wedding day. We sent a mix of wants - some items were super detailed (e.g., I had a 60-minute cocktail hour playlist) and some were less clear (e.g., I wanted to walk down the aisle to “Married Life” from Up, and she found a beautiful piano version that was perfect.) AND she absolutely crushedddd it at our reception. At one point I, the bride, requested a song that cleared the dance floor (lol, whoops), and she knew exactly how to bring everyone back. Our wedding reception was so much fun and upbeat, and she had a lot to do with that! Book her!

Jenny was so amazing!! She was so easy to work with and extremely organized. She was extremely considerate and always made sure everything was as it was supposed to be. I would hire Jenny over and over again. She played every song we wanted, and always kept the dance floor full. I never left it!

You need to use Snapdragon Entertainment for your event! Jenny and team were awesome. We had a wedding at Wrightsville Beach and Jenny had perfect mix of music plus was great and confident about coordinating when to do what. Everybody had fun (old and young) and on the dance floor due to her knowledge and adaptation to what we needed and would be work for our group.

Jenny and her team were absolutely amazing. We had a smaller wedding so we were worried that people wouldn’t dance - couldn’t be less of the case! Everyone was on the floor all night long. We had such an amazing experience with Snapdragon Entertainment and would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing party.

Jenny and her assistant were excellent! In the planning stage, she helped us map out some things like dinner music vs. dance music, the first dance, transitioning to the less formal dance after that, how we’d invite our guests to the dance floor and more. Extras like asking for some extra mics and speakers on the patio for the ceremony, accommodating a sing-along… she took completely in stride. She took my fiance’s song list, played nearly everything on it and knew what to add so it flowed beautifully. Many guests commented to me how much they liked the music. And even the small things -- We had cupcakes. She announced they were ready, and on her own, thought to ask those who don’t need gluten-free to leave those for our family members who do. I hope to hire Jenny again for our first anniversary party!

Jenny and Pete were absolutely fantastic, I would recommend them to anybody. They were timely, professional, organized, incorporated my preferences, and got the party started all while braving the rain and my dance moves. Can’t say enough great things about Snapdragon! Book them!

JUSTIN.WAS.AMAZING!!!!!!!!! From the planning process to the night of. Our wedding was everything we imagined it to be!!!! He had some amazing suggestions and we really felt he was excited about and had fun at our wedding! He kept the energy up the entire night and had all ages involved and on the dance floor. Jenny was our wedding DJ and we couldn’t have had a better experience. From start to finish she answered every little question a nervous bride was worried about and when it started pouring moments before our outdoor ceremony she and her team got an inside setup ready within moments and everything went off without a hitch. Our group has a wide array of music preferences and they hit the nail on the head for every guest. There was a full dancefloor of guests the ENTIRE time. Guests are still telling me months after the fact that the wedding was one of the best they’ve been to specifically cause of the awesome music and how amazing the flow of the wedding went due to the entertainment. She was more than willing to do what was necessary to make us feel comfortable with booking someone without ever being able to meet them. Jenny and her team are THE best around! We hired them to DJ our wedding and from the very start Jenny told me if you have any questions let me know. When things started going south at the wedding with the day of coordinator not having a clue, Jenny stepped in and helped us through orders for things and timing. Then when we had not seen the catering company she took it on herself to call and investigate, multiple times and received multiple stories about what had happened. All through our special day while things went wrong Jenny and Pete both were there to keep us calm and reassure us everything would be fine, and at the end of the night it was in fact all fine. Thanks again Jenny, while I don't plan to get married again, we will definitely use you again if we need a DJ for something.

Jenny and Pete did an outstanding job as DJs for my daughter's wedding. They were punctual, professional and very easy to work with. Jenny's questionnaire was an excellent guide for my daughter as she planned the reception timeline. My daughter created an extensive playlist for the entire reception. Jenny and Pete played the music flawlessly while still managing to fit in requests from our guests. Jenny emceed the event and called tables to the buffet, announced toasts and dances, and finally called everyone outside for the sparkler sendoff. Guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night. We all had the best time! Jenny and Pete kept the party going until the very end, and it was a blast!

Justin Capps was the perfect pick to DJ our wedding! He made sure we were comfortable with the play list and gave great suggestions. Not only did he set the mood and get everyone on the dance floor, he also kept the events running smoothly from the ceremony to the last dance. I was so happy we chose her: She was professional, timely, responsive, and delivered exactly what was promised and expected.
