Mark was very easy to work with. The entire process from scheduling the tasting to the wedding day was very straightforward and the food was priced very reasonably. The food received many compliments as well with the mac and cheese being eaten entirely! The line moved fast and all was cleaned up quietly and quickly. It was all very well organized and seamless!
My only complaint is that they did not leave the leftovers. I will admit that this was not brought up during the planning process and I hadn't thought about it either. I guess I was thinking of giving some of the food to family members but when I went in the next day for clean up, the venue had said that they took everything with them.
Overall though, I highly recommend Snappers! Everything about working with Mark was great! Just don't forget to coordinate what to do with leftovers!

The food Snappers provided was excellent and the service they provided was top notch. They provided plenty of food for all our guests. The meat was excellent as was the potato dishes. We got a lot of complements on the wedding food from Snappers.

Mark and his crew were super easy to work with. The wedding was in Nebraska and they are from Kansas but that all worked out perfectly. He had a tasting all of us could attend which was super helpful. This helped the bride and groom pick what they really wanted served on their big day. Many options to choose from. Everything they served at the tasting was amazing.
We gave Mark guest list numbers and needed to change closer to the date and that was not a problem for them. We wanted different plates and he was fine serving on them. They came in the day of the wedding very quietly, served, cleaned up and were out the door just as quietly. Nobody actually saw them come in and set up nor leave. They were so quiet and efficient!! They had everything set up at the requested time.
Many, many people raved about the food and wanted to know who the caterer was. One actually told me she hates "creamy" foods but could not get enough of the mac and cheese. Another told me he hate potatoes but had three helpings of cheesy potatoes that night.
Great experience and would HIGHLY recommend Mark and his staff at Snapper Catering for all your catering needs.

Snappers was an amazing caterer for our wedding. Mark is such a wonderful guy and is very responsive to emails or phone calls. The company is also very flexible and helps ensure that you do not have to worry about the food at your event because they have it covered. Our event was about 180 people and Snappers handled the group very well. They also were responsible for our bartending/drink services and they did a wonderful job, I never saw a long line which is great for guests!

The caterer was super nice and got back to me with any questions that I had. The prices were good, and the selection on the menu had a lot of variety.
I was pleased with most of the food that we had for our event. A couple of the dishes I was not very impressed with.

We hired Snapper for our reception. Mark was amazing to work with. He was very responsive to emails/communication, informative & answered all of our questions and flexible with requests to help make our reception move smoothly. They arrived when they said they would be there & cleaned up quickly & quietly after the food service was done. We had numerous compliments on how great the food, with the smoked brisket being the favorite. They had just the right amount to serve our 200 guests & did not run out of any of the food items. Snappers has a great variety to choose from. We would recommend using for your wedding!

Drove 2 hrs down there and they did not have power. They did not contact me to tell me about their loss of power. I found out when the owners daughter pulled up to the space and said they lost power. They never reached out to follow up with me or to apologize. Would not recommend!

Professional yet casual. Mark from Snapper’s made my wedding night stress free! I had so many compliments on the food. The price was so good. The crew drove 70 miles through a snowstorm to get the food to my reception. The wind was gusting up to 40 mph and the windchill was -35. The weather kept many of the guests away but not my caterer.

Mark Stallbaumer of Snapper’s and his crew are excellent. Mark was at the top of the list of vendors because we had been to events he had catered. Communication was exceptional all throughout the planning of our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding reception and dinner. They provided an excellent buffet style meal with no worry of running short on anything. (We had about 300 guests.). They were even able to provide bar service for our wedding celebration as well as cutting the extra sheet cakes stored in the kitchen.
We knew we would be in excellent hands and we were able to enjoy the reception and dinner without worry. Thank you Mark for helping to make our important day extra special!

Snappers Catering was an excellent choice for our wedding. Though at first we were somewhat concerned of their location in Hanover, KS being 2 hours away from our venue in Fremont, NE, they reassured us that they have catered events at similar distances. They exceeded all expectations: the food was delicious and perfectly cooked; the presentation was beautiful; the service was very professional; the communication was thorough and simple; and the overall experience was amazing and stress-free. Additionally, they ensured to keep all guests safe during COVID-19. Instead of a self-served buffet, they served the food while wearing masks. We would absolutely recommend Snappers Catering to anyone looking for food and service that makes an already special day even more delightful.

We used Snappers Catering for my daughter's wedding reception and had an overwhelmingly positive experience. If you're planning an event, I highly recommend this vendor!
Our first meeting was at a scheduled tasting about 3 months prior to the big day. We met with Mark and were so impressed with all the dishes we were tasting. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional, answering all of our questions, which were many!
The food they provided at our reception was top-notch...delicious; the price was fantastic; and Mark was so easy to work with, especially among the restrictions of Covid and our desire to keep the safety of our loved ones a top priority. Thank you so much for helping to make our daughter's wedding such an incredible day!

We loved having Snappers Catering at our wedding! The food was delicious and our guests loved it. Lots of people went back for seconds and thirds! It's very affordable and Mark was so wonderful about answering any questions we had ahead of time. They took care of the set up and clean up and the whole process was just so seamless for us! Couldn't have asked for a better experience with a caterer for our daughter's wedding.
They were so easy to work with while we were planning the reception meal. I also appreciate how understanding they were when we needed to make a few adjustments to our plans due to the Covid-19 situation.
Family and guests thought the food was great. I would highly recommend Snappers to anyone who is looking for a caterer.

Snappers were wonderful to work with, and provided us with an excellent, cheap meal!! Since the wedding, we've gotten many comments to the effect of, "Where were those caterers from? They were awesome!!" We live in a small town in the middle of Nebraska, and there aren't many different options for this type of service. My daughter and her fiance encountered them at a bridal show, and there couldn't have been a better choice! So, so easy to work with, helpful and wonderful food. You couldn't ask for more, especially at this very stressful time in our lives!! I'd highly recommend them to everyone!

Snappers Catering did not disappoint. We had to change our caterer, because our original caterer was not available on our new wedding date and it was the best decision.
Mark was very responsive to all of my questions and the food was very reasonably priced. You get so much food for the price. We received so many compliments on the food!
We couldn't have asked for a better caterer. We would 100% recommend Snappers if you are looking for amazing food at a very reasonable price!

We went down to Hanover to try their food. After one bite, we all said, "You're Hired!" Mark's cooking is amazing ~ it has that homemade taste of comfort food that you could just keep eating. We had prime rib and a pork tenderloin for our choices. The food was hot the entire time all 200 guests were served. We could not have made a better choice. We received compliment after compliment on the meal all night long. Mark is wonderful to work with - very accommodating on what you want for you big day!

This vendor was so easy and awesome to work with. Mark was always very punctual on reply’s whenever we needed anything. The taste testing was awesome and difficult to choose from the excellent selection of foods. Speaking of the food was superb. Plenty to go around if you went home hungry it’s your own fault ! I would definetly recommmend snappers and will use him for future catering events.

As the mother of the groom, I must say - the rehearsal dinner was the easiest part of that day! Snappers made it exceptional because the food was amazing. Portions were fantastic, let alone the taste of the food. Everything we ordered was prepared by the owner (or his wife!) and you could tell they put heart and soul into it! Communication was great (I prefer e-mail); I was always up to date. They were so easy to work with. My son and his beautiful bride were so happy with how the dinner turned out and that's what was most important! I will use Snappers again - for personal and corporate events! I'd give 10 stars if I could!
