Snow King Mountain offers a one of a kind mountaintop wedding venue in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where unforgettable celebrations begin with a scenic gondola ride to 8,000 feet. At the summit, couples and their guests are welcomed by sweeping panoramic views of the Tetons, snow capped peaks, vibrant wildflowers, and the charming Town of Jackson below, an iconic backdrop for an extraordinary “I do.”
Ceremonies take place outdoors in our tiered summit amphitheater, surrounded by alpine beauty and breathtaking mountain scenery. Receptions follow at the Summit House, our modern three level venue featuring floor to ceiling glass windows, a rooftop terrace perfect for cocktail hour, and Aurora Restaurant, our elegant, glass enclosed event space with panoramic views of the Tetons and valley below. The space comfortably accommodates up to 200 guests and can be thoughtfully designed for intimate gatherings, full seated dinners, or elevated cocktail style celebrations, including larger guest counts depending on event format.
For couples seeking something more intimate, weekday elopement packages are available for gatherings under 30 guests, offering access to our iconic ceremony site and the same unforgettable mountain setting on a smaller scale.
Enhance your wedding weekend with unique experiences such as our Observatory and Planetarium, where guests can enjoy guided stargazing and live presentations beneath Wyoming’s extraordinary night sky.
Our experienced event and culinary teams provide seamless planning support, curated in house catering with customizable selections, and thoughtful service from start to finish. Snow King was an absolutely beautiful venue, from the ceremony site, to the rooftop cocktail hour, to the floor to ceiling retractable windows inside the reception space. One of a ...
kind! The food and cocktail were a 10/10.
With that being said, the year that led up to the wedding, was a complete and utter disaster. The venue is not honest with what they offer. They advertise having a bridal suite, but it’s actually just a conference room - we had to beg (yes, actually beg) for them to buy a mirror for this room. They were suggesting we bring up our own floor length mirror in a gondola to use for the day. Makeup mirrors weren’t provided so those had to be brought by the bridesmaids. Also, access does not open until 10 am, which complicated hair and makeup. They advertise having a dancefloor but they don’t, this needs to be rented. They plan weddings there every Friday and Saturday, while also having concerts there as well. Therefore, if you get married in the summer, be sure they stow away the porta-potties and the sod is laid. The venue coordinator is virtually impossible to get ahold of. My food and beverage order was not finalized until 7 days before the wedding due to lack of communication and inability to answer questions. Drink packages are not offered so all drinks are charged by consumption ($20/cocktail) - this was also not disclosed until after signing contracts. If you want a cake, it’s a cutting cake charge of $7 per piece. Because communication with the venue was so bad, I started communicating with other brides getting married there to see if they had answers, and they also were struggling to get any information. So from there, we started communicating any updates we got with each other. After freaking out because I had no answers and it was 10 days out until my wedding, the venue coordinator said “she’s really busy with other weddings and she’ll focus on mine the week of….” The week of she had a family emergency and said she wouldn’t be able to talk to me until the Monday before my wedding.
In the end, the wedding worked out, but I don’t know if I would recommend them because the stress and hassle working with them may not have been worth it. And yes, I had a wedding planner who also couldn’t get answers.
