Yolie began working on brows with Benefit Brow Bar more than 10 years ago. She discovered her passion for makeup, working with Aveda and then as a Master Esthetician at a Twin Cities salon. Yolie opened her own suite as So This is Love Studio, serving clients in Minneapolis-St. Paul and the surrounding areas. So This is Love Studio offers both on-site makeup services and in-studio services to meet your wedding needs. Yolie offers traditional and airbrushed makeup application, eyelash extensions, brow shaping, all-body waxing, and relaxing facials. You can look forward to feeling pampered and taken care of on your most special day.

I got my start specializing in Brows working for Benefit Brow Bar over ten years ago. That led me into my passion for makeup and began freelancing for Aveda and assisting in photoshoots and working with the Aveda Makeup team at New York Fashion week for 7 seasons. I became a Master Esthetician at a top rated salon in the Twin cities and continued my journey there for the last six years before I decided to finally open my own suite. I'am also a precision lash artist, offering lash lifting, tinting and Borboleta extensions services. I offer other esthetics services, such as facials and waxing.

Found Yolie (So This is Love Studio) through a google search! Went and got my eyebrows done then talked all things wedding. She was so kind and easy to work with! I did schedule a trial and loved that I did! It’s nice to have those details worked through before wedding day. Six of us got make up done needed to be ready at 11:00. We started at 8:00 and we got done right on time! I would highly recommend.

I literally cannot say enough good things about Yolie! This women not only made me feel beautiful on my wedding day, she prepped my skins, lashes, make up leading up to the wedding, and catered to my party like we were her only clients. I hired YOLIE to complete the wedding party for my sisters wedding. She did 6 people in a short amount of time and blew us AWAY with how beautiful we all felt. She listened to the needs of the bride and recreated exactly what she wanted. As the MOH I just wanted my sister happy on this important day and YOLIE delivered 10 times over. Professional, willing to travel, easy to talk too and so talented. Thank you YOLIE!

I can’t say enough about Yolie, who owns So This is Love. She is amazing at what she does and individualizes your experience even when part of a big group. She not only does incredible work on brides and bridal parties but has done my teenage daughters makeup for special events and a girls night party for her and her friends with age appropriate looks as well as teaching them what works best for their skin and application how to. Makeup, brows, lashes, facials....you will feel special and beautiful when you use So This is Love.

I loved worked with Yolie! She knows what she is doing and listens to the clients wants. She also has a great sense of humor that helps with the nerves! Also she has a great portfolio that ranges from NY fashion week to prom makeup so she has a lot of experience which made me feel extremely confident in her work. I can’t wait to book her again!!
