Erin helped to choreograph my father daughter dance and my husband and my first dance and they both were amazing! She really got a sense of what level of choreography we were comfortable with and we loved working with her. I would highly recommend her!

Let me start by saying that my husband and I are not good dancers. Like at all. But wow, Social Style really made us look like we knew what we were doing! We wanted to do something special for our first dance and struggled to find somewhere that could help us choreograph the dance of our dreams. When we met with Erin at Social Style Dance she explained that she helps people do this all the time and even showed us a couple of moves at our consult before signing up! We went with the 10 class package to make sure we had enough time to learn our dance and that was the perfect amount of time. We ended up having our dance fully choreographed before the 10 classes were up but it allowed us to use our final classes for perfecting the small things and making the dance look even more flawless! Erin was amazing and gave such good advice. We originally were going to have our wedding band play our first dance song, but Erin recommended having a shortened mp3 version to play so that there were no inconsistencies between what we were practicing and what was played on our big day. We were hesitant at first but we are so glad we listened to her! We shortened our song to 1:30 mins which was the perfect amount of time. Just like she said, we held everyone’s attention and had them wanting more! Everyone was blown away by our dance and said we made it look easy but little did they know we put hours and hours of practice into it! Thank you Erin for helping us pull off such a special part of our day! We hope to come back and take dance classes with you in the future!

Social Style Dance Studio owner Erin O’Boyle choreographed a special father/daughter dance for my daughter’s wedding day. We came to Erin at Social Style to learn our first dance for our wedding. After wasting money and time with lessons at another competitor, we were sooooo happy to have found Erin who was GREAT to work with and affordable!! She gives you input and is open to you asking questions not only during lessons but you can call or text her outside of lessons or even come into the studio to practice at almost any time. She really looks at all the details for you and you can genuinely tell she wants your first dance to be amazing! I am happy we found Erin and to me, the set price and her being forthcoming in the number of lessons needed to get us to our first dance made it a clear decision for us to sign up right away. Erin is simply amazing! She choreographed a challenging (by our wish!) first dance for our wedding involving lifts and spins and jumps, and most importantly she taught my husband and I who have two very different dance abilities! She listened to what we wanted and her main goal was always for us to be able to have the best first dance possible. We wanted to surprise our entire guest list and we pulled it off, with the help of Erin. We came to her with some ideas which she incorporated and pulled together into a seamless dance. She patiently taught us how to do lifts and move together. Her wedding package, including an onsite lesson at the wedding venue and a dress rehearsal (without my fiance), was perfect and vital - it helped calm us down day of knowing we'd already performed in the same area and me in my dress. We couldn't be more happy with our experience working with Erin!!

My father and I worked with Erin on our Father\Daughter dance and had so much fun. We first met with Erin for a free practice and then bought her bridal package, it included multiple lessons, on site lesson and a dress rehearsal. My Dad and I had a tight timeline, but on our first meeting we were able to schedule all of our lessons and have a great idea of what to expect. I was more nervous for this dance than anything else at the wedding. Erin kept with us, encouraging us and sharing her expertise with us. Everyone was blown away when the dance started, and we now have such great memories of all the practice and time we spent together!

Erin was amazing to work with! Created the perfect surprise dance for my wedding! It was so fun spending time with my Dad before the wedding and sneaking around in order to make it a surprise for my Mom. I would recommend Erin's dance school for anyone looking for either a fun activity or for a special occasion.

Erin is an amazing dance instructor! We had taken a free trial lesson at Fred Astaire and had a terrible experience. I thought for sure that my now husband would never agree to go dancing again. Then we met with Erin, and everything was different! My fiance and I took the "bridal package" of dance lessons, learned a customized first dance, and enjoyed all the bonuses of the bridal package. Erin allowed me to have a private lesson in my dress (without my fiance present) to make sure all of the moves would work. She came to our reception site and watched us dance on the floor to make sure everything was rotated correctly for best show. She went so above and beyond helping us prep for our wedding. The day after the wedding my husband made the comment that the first dance was one of his favorite moments of the day, which he NEVER would have said prior to dance lessons. We have continued group lessons with Erin and have continued to learn more dances that impress friends and family, and most importantly help us have fun!

Let me first start off by saying that I do not give positive reviews flippantly. Out of the many services contracted for a wedding, my wife and I had a small issue with several services, and major issues with a couple of services. One of the few that we were completely satisfied with was the dance lessons with Erin O'Boyle at Social Style Dance. Before coming to Erin, I did not dance. I did not really even like to dance. And yet there we were elegantly dancing for five minutes or so on our wedding day, impressing all of our family and friends. Erin is a total professional. Before even stepping on the floor, there is a comprehensive discussion about a game plan. Preferred music, level of skill, venue considerations, etc. The game plan is then implemented step by step. Although she has many clients, she made herself available to accommodate OUR schedule. She was there for us in the early morning of our Saturday wedding to practice at the venue. She also came to the reception and videotaped us. Erin's greatest skills are patience, and being able to explain things in different ways until you are able to understand. It is also obvious that she is an expert from classic to modern dance. I had fun learning to dance, and I imagine that you will too. I can't say enough good things about Erin. I think we paid $1000 for 9 or 10 private lessons. That initially seemed like a lot, but when comparison shopping it was not out of line, especially considering this was for one-on-one attention. My wife and I consider it among the best values of our wedding services.

My daughter and I hired Erin to help us put together a father/daughter dance for my daughters wedding. We did not just want to do the old 'stand and sway' dance that father/daughters do at most wedding. Erin put together a program for us and worked with us over 10 sessions to make sure we knew each dance step, that they became second nature to us and that we were prepared for any unsuspecting surprises that might arise. We even had 1 lesson at the wedding venue so we knew which way to face and what it would feel like once the dance actually began. Erin is meticulous, friendly and a real pro who knows her stuff, If you are looking to learn a new dance, take dance lessons for an upcoming event or just want to have fun I would strongly recommend talking to Erin at Social Style Dance.

My dad and I wanted to do a swing dance for our father daughter dance (we took lessons together when I was young, but we were rusty to say the least!). Erin was great in showing us a routine that we could do, but also looked awesome. She made sure that we were comfortable with everything and that we could do the dance in our sleep! Guests at the wedding were so impressed. I highly recommend taking lessons from Erin!

My husband and I started taking lessons from Erin in December 2014, and we decided to have her choreograph our first dance as well. We began learning the first dance in February for our August 2015 wedding. We had a blast working with Erin, and she choreographed and perfected a beautiful waltz for our first dance.
