At first we were just going to use her as a Day of Coordinator, but after realizing how much time planning takes we knew hiring a planner would get us going faster and avoid “costly” mistakes. So, we decided to upgrade her services to the Partial Wedding Planning package. We are glad we did. Stephanie set up an initial strategy meeting with us to get a feel for what our daughter and, now husband, wanted for their wedding. She started making recommendations for vendors and set up our event checklist, so we wouldn’t miss any of the many details. Stephanie was there with us throughout the planning process. She set up zoom calls, got proposals, reviewed contracts and guided us on what questions to ask or what to look for in services. She kept the planning process moving along smoothly. She was a great sounding board to bounce off ideas and when a vendor was dragging their feet on getting us a proposal she got right on it. A few weeks before the event, she gave us our “Wedding Day Playbook.” We really loved reviewing the "playbook", which gave us a detailed timeline on how the day would unfold. This is when you can really start visualizing the wedding ceremony and reception. We worked together to tweek the timeline by removing/adding things that were important to us. Stephanie took care of all the day's details which is huge! Since she was involved in the planning process from the beginning it made it so much easier for her to check on the vendors' and all the little details. This enabled us to relax, so we could enjoy the day.
Stephanie also has the experience and professionalism needed to deal with the unexpected. Without going into the “bizarre behavior” of this new venue owner, she kept things from quickly spiraling out of control which would have ruined this happy day. We highly recommend Stephanie Green and Socialite Events to everyone as she comes with the experience you need for your successful special event.
