l what you wish for because we got that and more! When I initially spoke to Meena, she assured me that she and her team would be there in any element of weather to capture our day. Our wedding day weather delivered ten fold, a week with 14 feet of snow, mountain, road and airport closures. Meena and Oleg adjusted their travel plans and made sure they were there for us. They were in calm and cool contact the whole time with me. I cannot tell you how much relief I felt morning of our wedding when these two showed up covered in snow and frozen hands from capturing footage outside just before. Their calm, expert energy was everything we needed as a couple, especially since the rest of our vendors were freaking out about the weather. They melted so much of our stress away and basically took over for the timeline because it was much needed. SO grateful. They directed us so kindly and calmly and captured the emotions of our day and our big day so beautifully. Admittedly, anyone would be worried about capturing a snow covered wedding but this team ABSOLUTELY nailed it. They even helped us pivot to a never before done ceremony location and found some insanely beautiful spots for our pictures (all while snow was coming down). Our photos and wedding video look straight out of a ski magazine. They even captured our dreamy first dance that was underneath majestic Tahoe powder and the photos/video literally look like they belong in a fairytale. I actually figured I needed to mentally capture that moment because I had no clue photos could even do it justice, well they do! Our planner even advised us to be hesitant about booking a photography/cinematography team outside of the Tahoe area and specifically for the uniqueness of the venue. Let me tell you I am SO grateful I trusted my gut and went with Sohi Productions. All contact has been so professional and great. Our video and photos were delivered in a timely matter and they even posted some teasers day of, which was so nice to share with family abroad. Not only are the final products something we will cherish forever but working with this team and their energy saved our day. Our bridal party and family cannot stop talking about how great the Sohi team was, I even have friends that are event and wedding planners that said they were some of the best they have worked with.
