Soho Hair Group & Day Spa

I looked and felt beautiful throughout my entire wedding day and into the wee hours of the night. I am so glad I chose to have my hair and makeup done at Soho! I have been going to this salon for routine hair cuts over the last year and have always been pleased with their services. When I selected Soho to service myself, bridal party, and family for hair and makeup on my wedding day I was blown away by the exceptional service we received. Throughout the entire planning process the bridal party and my family members were constantly making changes to the schedule and Colleen, the bridal coordinator, was amazing and understanding throughout the entire process. On the actual day of my wedding all of the staff, including Colleen were incredibly supportive and calming. I left the salon feeling amazing and confident that I was going to look exactly as I had envisioned on my wedding day.

I have been a client of SoHo Hair Salon for 4 years. I knew they would do a great job with my bridal hair, makeup, and my girls. I did not know that they would completely exceed my expectations! Adding in my hair extensions for my trial, rehearsal dinner, and my wedding day was seamless. My stylist was able to match the exact color of my extensions without even seeing them in person! My makeup was absolutely stunning. My makeup artist had a lot of fun as we did a Gatsby theme for the wedding so she was able to play me up a lot and use fun color pallets and super fun eyelashes! The day of my wedding, they had a beautiful table setup upon entry to the salon that had champagne, glasses, and a great Gatsby quote! They really paid attention to my theme and created some great finger waves into my bridal party’s hair while incorporating the feather headband I gave to all my girls. I was able to go in early to setup some snacks, although, they had offered to get all the food for me! GREAT JOB ALL AROUND GUYS! I and ALL of my girls felt so beautiful!!!!

I recently used Soho for my bridal hair and makeup for my wedding at the Carousel at Lighthouse Point Park. When I first called, Colleen was very helpful and polite on the phone and emailed me the information I needed right away. I had to book on a Sunday- which is the day they are closed but Colleen and her team were very accommodating, especially since it was about a month before my wedding ( we went from engagement to wedding in 3 months,so things had to be set up fast!). I set my appointment up for my trials and when I got there, I felt like I had been there many times before. Colleen, Alex and Christina treated me as if I were a regular customer, and the environment in the salon was happy and upbeat, and everyone was so friendly. When I talked with Colleen, Alex and Christina, it made me feel as if I had known these ladies personally. When the big day finally arrived-Alex, Tracy, Christina and Colleen were the best. They were absolutely great with my 4 year old niece- and let her be herself while were in the salon. My sister, niece, and mother's hair and makeup looked perfect; and mine looked exactly as it did when I had my trial. Colleen and her team were the absolute best and I would absolutely use Soho again- even though I reside in Mansfield and they are located in New Haven.

Very friendly and professional staff! Treated me and my bridal party with nothing but respect. Prices are reasonable and they are very thorough with their contracting. Talented hair and make up artists!

I had a fantastic experience with the soho hair group! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Large, clean salon. I also liked that the parking lot across the street so I didn't have to park on the street. Colleen was wonderful to work with in arranging everything. It was a great touch to have champagne for me and my bridesmaids along with a welcome sign!

I went in for my bridal consultation having no idea what I wanted besides an updo (necessary for a July wedding with an outdoor reception!) My stylist saw my dress and asked me some questions about the tone of the wedding. The first style she tried was the one, I didn’t need to see anything else! Soho's salon and its employees made me feel very comfortable - I don’t really consider myself a high maintenance girl who gets done up very much, and they struck just the right balance, making me feel pampered without being too extravagant for my taste. My hair and makeup looked just as good at midnight as they had when they were first done hours earlier - not an easy feat on a 90 degree day! In addition to their bridal services I’ve also come to the salon for body waxing and regular hair services and have had nothing but the best of experiences.
