Solare Wedding Photography

We had Solare do both our engagement and wedding photos this past summer and we couldn't have been happier. Nora did our engagement session and her and her wife Lauren-Shelby worked together for our wedding. They were both a joy to work with, very professional and really made the experience fun. We told Nora for our engagement session we wanted to do a combination of traditional photos as well as some that were fun and less traditional and she was able to capture exactly what we were looking for. They were also very flexible when it came to working around the weather when some rain made an appearance on our wedding day; and were even able to use it to their advantage when photographing to get some really beautiful images. We really can't recommend them enough.

We were so happy with our experience with Nora and the Solare team for our wedding photography. Due to weather we had a few last minute decisions to make on location and Nora was accommodating and on top of every minute of the schedule. The photos are beautiful and captured our day so well.

I chose Solare because they were recommended by our venue (Smith Barn). Cory was very professional and easy to work with. We had our engagement shoot about a year before our wedding and it gave us a good idea of what to expect on our wedding day. Communication ahead of our wedding was clear and everything was organized on the day of. I will also mention that Solare's prices are reasonable as wedding photographers go. I would recommend them to a friend :).

I am a minimalist bride who wanted to elope with no photographers, I dread wedding photos. With a push from my husband, we did things the more traditional way. We reached out to Solare for our photos and I am so happy we did. They made the photo process enjoyable and I actually had a blast doing it. They captured the real me, the real him, showing the authenticity of us as a couple. Their photo quality is excellent, so lively and representative of that day. I would highly recommend them and look forward to using Solare in the future.

Looking for photographers was a little stressful at first because I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for, but when I stumbled across Solare's Instagram, I had no doubts in my mind that I needed them to capture our wedding! We booked Solare Photography for our 8/5/2023 wedding. Nora is incredible! We also used her for our engagement photos and our welcome party photos. Nora kept us on time for our entire wedding day, while getting thousands of amazing photos. She has such a good eye for creative yet classic photos, you will not regret booking them! We have gotten so many comments on our photos already and we've only received our sneak peaks! We are so excited to see the rest, and have no doubt they will be incredible!

Cory shot both our engagement photos and wedding and was so wonderful to work with! She has an exceptional creative eye, used some really unique and beautiful techniques, and highlighted all the details of our wedding day so beautifully. We love how vibrant and artful all of our photos came out. Everyone at Solare was extremely kind, professional, and fun to work with from start to finish and we’d recommend them without hesitation!

We loved working with Solare! Nora was extremely communicative and helpful during the planning stage. On our wedding day, she turned it up to another level! She was efficient, gave great direction, and made our pre-wedding shoot super smooth. She took charge when we needed it, going above and beyond to make sure everything went as planned. I honestly cant put into words how absolutely perfect Solare has been before/during/after our wedding. From the very first phonecall, we knew we had made the right decision in choosing to work with Cory. The communication was consistently amazing throughout the planning process – we never had to wait for a response to a question or wild idea we had, even when we suggested an engagement photos at a haunted house. Cory was on board and ready (and even showed up with a smoke bomb) with a smile on her face, despite having to reschedule THREE times because of unruly weather. We were FLOORED with the end result. She continuously made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, despite us being super awkward. Wedding day had some bumps on our end with timing but Cory remained professional and got through all photos we wanted and were important to us without skipping a beat. She never made us feel uncomfortable or weird asking for specific things, she felt like a friend that was there with us, not a vendor. She went above and beyond every single step of the way. We got sneak peaks back a few days after the wedding, followed by over a hundred a few weeks after that. Our entire wedding gallery is absolute perfection. It truly was a dream – her artistic ability to see shots we couldn’t even dream of helped create the most gorgeous plethora of wedding photos we will happily share and look back on for the rest of our lives. She got all the moments we missed, and the ones we were part of and forgot happened. Cory, you have a special place in our heart forever. If you need a photographer, look no further – just book it. You will not be disappointed.

Nora and her team were fantastic! From the initial consult to after the wedding, Nora was extremely attentive and helpful. She made our big day stress free and captured every little detail that we will look back on for years to come. Oh my GOSH, I cannot express my gratitude and love I have for Solare and each photographer that makes up this team. They were amazing to deal with from the first point of contact all the way to receiving my unbelievable wedding album. We used Solare for our wedding and engagement photos, and it was a fantastic experience! Nora was kind and really experienced. She was able to support us, and was great with our families, wedding party and guests. The pre-planning sessions were great - I was able to show her some ideas and she went from there. I am so impressed with our photos! Cory and Bethany did a spectacular job catching our special day. Cory's energy was amazing! There was a full moon on our wedding night and she stayed to help capture photos of that with us. The photos are crisp, vivid, and capture so many moments from the day. Cory was very responsive before, during, and after our wedding. Could not have asked for a better photographer!

Surprisingly our wedding photos lacked creativity and attention for detail. When confronted about this, excuses were made and accountability was avoided. Work appears great on the portfolio examples, but missed the mark for our big day. Very disappointment but we will make the most with what we have. Thank you anyway.

We found Solare through our good friends who hired Cory for their wedding. Cory’s style is so unique and beautiful. The attention to detail and quality of her photography is incredible. We knew from the minute we had our first call with Nora that we had to book her for our wedding, and we ended up booking her for both of our weddings — a Covid micro ceremony and our big celebration! She was incredible during the planning process…responsive, organized and a joy. She fit in perfectly and made us feel so comfortable, capturing everything we asked for and more. Nora was amazing!!!! We hit it off from our very first conversation, had so much fun with her at out engagement shoot, and appreciated her organization leading up to our wedding day. We loved working with Cory! We got a very nice mix of traditional shots and some more artsy photos with cool lighting, and Cory even got us on the roof of the hotel for some sunset pictures. My dad typically takes a lot of family photos and he really appreciated Cory’s attention to detail (especially making sure all the guys took stuff out of their pockets). Cory also did us a huge extra favor - our wedding was the day before Mother’s Day and she sent photos in to CVS (after getting home late after the wedding!) for us to give to our moms the day after the wedding. (They loved it!)

Cory was fantastic to work with. She was very communicative about the process before our wedding and really helped everyone relax during the event. I feel super uncomfortable getting my picture taken so I needed some support from my photographer that day. She nailed the romantic look I was going for and the photos are great!

Solare Wedding Photography is AMAZING. We had our photographer back out 3 months before our wedding and I started to look elsewhere. Solare was slightly out of our budget at first, but I can't tell you how happy I am that we spent more than we expected. Their work is out of this world. You will not be disappointed.

Unbelievable photography!!! We hired Solare Wedding Photography for our wedding originally planned for August 2020. When we had to reschedule due to COVID, Nora was very responsive and accommodating. We had the honor of having her and her team shoot our wedding on 5/22/21. I am so impressed with how easy and kind they were to work with. They made us feel so relaxed and comfortable the entire day. Though I haven't received the full reel of photos yet, Nora showed me a few sneak peaks and I am speechless. They look like they are straight out of a magazine! I have no doubt the rest of the photos will be just as fantastic. On top of her great team and great photography skills, she really let us enjoy our day uninterrupted. She captured us and our guests as we carried throughout our day in true, natural celebration rather than a string of posed photos. I cannot say enough good things about Solare and Nora. We were originally supposed to get married in 2020 but had to postpone due to the pandemic (and changed plans several times!). Throughout the whole process Nora was so supportive, flexible, and understanding. When it came time to our actual wedding day, Nora was phenomenal. Neither myself or my husband are used to being photographed so much but Nora and her assistant instantly made us feel at ease and made it fun! I felt like I had an extra friend with me throughout the night. She stole us away a few times for sunset and night time photos that came out AMAZING in our sneak peek! And speaking of our sneak peek, we have gotten so many compliments already about how great the pictures are! I would recommend Solare to anyone planning a wedding in MA or NH!

Hiring Nora as our wedding photographer was the best decision my husband and I made! We had originally planned a larger ceremony in Vermont for our October 2020 but, but our venue asked us to postpone our wedding until after the pandemic. Joe and I decided we still wanted to get married and asked Nora if she would be willing to get up at the crack of dawn and hike a mountain with us to shoot our small COVID ceremony. Nora, being the amazing photographer she is, agreed and she took the most beautiful pictures I could have imagined! We literally cannot thank her enough for being so flexible with our changing plans. We cannot say enough about how amazing Cory is to work with. From our initial meeting, to driving 2+ hours for our engagement session, to working with us as we had to make changes due to Covid, Cory was always personable and rolled with the punches while going above and beyond for us. Aside from her professionalism, her talent is remarkable. Cory can find the best shots in the most uncommon places, and we have been so happy with all the shots we have seen. As someone who is extremely self conscious about how I look in pictures, I have always loved Cory's pictures of me, which says a lot!! You can't go wrong with Cory!

Before we were even engaged, we had fallen in love with Solare’s photography style so they were one of our easiest vendor decisions. Cory took our engagement photos at Higgins Gardens at WPI, our alma mater. Though she had never shot there before, the pictures came out amazing and she really made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She stayed with us for over an hour and provided us with plenty of poses but also encouraged us to offer up our own ideas. In April 2020, we made the decision to postpone our big celebration and get married in a small ceremony on our original date. Cory was so flexible and helpful through the whole ordeal even as we changed our plans multiple times. On June 5, 2020 we had our “minimony” in Pierce Park. Cory was amazing; she was so unobtrusive but captured so many beautiful photos! She really went above and beyond, chasing off interlopers in the public park and crawling through bushes to get the perfect shot. She turned around our photos very quickly and even sent us a few sneak peeks to post on social media the day after the wedding. Cory is so personable and easy to work with and our photos are gorgeous - they perfectly capture our day. We can’t recommend her highly enough and can’t wait to work with her again next year at our big celebration!

Nora delivered the most beautiful photos of our mini ceremony that we could have imagined. Solare communicates easily and quickly. Nora adapted as our plans changed time and time again and was supportive and gracious about it. We are so excited to shoot with Nora again for our full ceremony!

The moment we met Cory we immediately felt comfortable and after seeing her work we knew we had to book her for our 6/6/20 wedding. We bought the package with the engagement shoot (highly recommend). Cory has such an artistic eye and really makes your "vision" come to life. She did our shoot in the seaport in downtown Boston. She knows the best spots, the best angles, you name it. ALL of our engagement photos came out absolutely perfect. Fast forward to March 2020 and we were hit with a major dilemma. Do we reschedule? Do we cancel altogether? Cory was so flexible, understanding, and really was a listening ear in a time of utter turmoil for us. She stood by our side when we postponed to August 2020 and when we had to ultimately cancel everything altogether. We decided to hold an intimate backyard ceremony on our original date. Fast forward to June 6, 2020. We got married in my BIL & SIL's backyard. We were originally supposed to get married at the beautiful Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA, so we were definitely a little bummed about that. Looking at the photos...you couldn't even tell we were just in a backyard. The photos were just STUNNING. Somehow Cory made their backyard feel like an enchanted forest and so, so special. She truly is such a natural and captured all of the important moments from the wedding. She is so talented, we can't recommend her enough.

Solare Wedding Photography is great! Cory is a very sweet person and has been a pleasure to work with up to this point. Unfortunately, our wedding was postponed to next summer, due to COVID-19. Throughout this very stressful process, Cory was super patient, kind, and understanding. We cannot wait for her to capture our beautiful day. When looking for wedding photographers, we wanted someone who was understanding of our needs and who had a keen eye for detail – after meeting with Cory, we knew she was going to be our photographer. Her photos are nothing but amazing and eye catching and we love the colors and angles she uses in her photos. We cannot wait for our wedding next year and to see our photos! Nora and her team beautifully captured our wedding day, July 13, 2019. From getting ready photos, first look, the ceremony, and the reception- every moment is reflected gorgeously in the huge amount of prints we spent months sorting through! Nora was professional and easy to be around throughout the day, and captured it all, while helping us feel comfortable and at ease. Amber and I hired Solare Photography for our October 5, 2019 wedding and couldn’t be happier! The photos have a natural and soft touch and do not look like any effort was taken in editing them, which is something that stood out to me when comparing Solare with other photographers prior to my wedding. I wasn’t sure what to expect since my husband and I did not do an engagement photoshoot with Nora since we were living in 2 different cities leading up to the wedding. Nora assured me that she would guide us and set up the perfect scene for the photos while keeping it fun and light-hearted. And she did just that! One of the small things she did that stood out to me in getting a candid photo of me and my husband is that she asked him to look at me and share his favorite part of the day. It was simple yet got us laughing and smiling in a way that was more natural than if she had said look at each other and “act natural”. I can’t say enough great things about Nora and Katie. They were absolutely amazing!! We fell in love with Nora’s work through several of our friends weddings. Nora came HIGHLY recommend and we knew we needed to have her the second we met her. Leading up to the wedding, she was very responsive and worked with meeting around our crazy schedule. Nore and Katie were more than just photographers on the day of the wedding...they did it all! They were the absolute dream team! Nora had every tool you could possibly think of and anything I needed, they did it! It was about 95 degrees the day of the wedding and any time we took a break, Katie was right there with a fan and some water. They went above, beyond and back around! Both Nora and Katie were so kind, calm and funny!! They were worth every single penny!! I could not believe how affordable they were. They are better than all of the photographers I was looking at and had much better deals. The best thing we did was hire them!! Solare Wedding Photography was so amazing to work with! Cory and Perri shot our wedding and got every last detail. Nora from Solare Photography did an amazing job capturing our wedding day!!! It was important to me to have a photographer who excelled at taking both posed portraits and the special moments of the day. Nora’s work immediately stood out to me because her photos were natural and beautiful (and not overly edited). Not only that, she was reasonably priced and willing to meet me after working hours to discuss my wedding day photography hopes even before I hired her. She even accommodated our laundry list of requests (ie being able to extend last minute if we wanted, providing us with the whole final collection, shooting bridal portraits quickly before my husband declared he could “take no more”) and the day of she was professional and efficient. However, it was the final photos that she sent to us that made us overjoyed! She captured all of our special moments, and I can’t thank her enough for having wonderful shots of everyone’s emotion during our ceremony or joy as we listened to speeches and had our first dance. I had told her nature was a big part of our lives, and despite it being an early spring day with few leaves on the trees, she managed to take photos of us together that truly highlighted the blooms that were available. Nora’s photography is gorgeous and I can’t recommend her more highly!!! One of my bridesmaids is getting married on Long Island and upon seeing the photos said, “If only I had waited to hire my photographer, I would have paid Nora any travel fee to come me. Cory is the best! She had a great eye for locations I would have passed by. She got gorgeous shots without having to pose us much. The whole process was really easy and fun and I can’t wait to see her at our wedding!

Nora is the BEST!! I chose Nora because she was the photographer at my best friend's wedding, and my best friend chose her because she was the photographer at two other weddings she had attended. Nora and Katie were fantastic! We initially met with Nora over a year before our wedding, and decided to hire her immediately after seeing samples of her work. Many photographers out there get a little too fancy or "artistic" with a lot of their shots and we liked that Nora's samples were so clean, sharp, and timeless. We did an engagement session with Nora before the wedding and the pictures came out great - she had also suggested a few different places we could go for the engagement shoot, which was helpful since we had recently moved to the area. She was organized before the wedding with a very thorough questionnaire detailing our wedding day timeline, family members' names, and special pictures we wanted. On our wedding day, she and her second shooter Katie were right on time and got right to work snapping getting ready pictures. It was cold and drizzly on our wedding day, so we ended up moving our first look and ceremony indoors. Nora and Katie had to find a new spot for our first look, and they found the perfect location and got it all set up in about 10 minutes! We decided to risk outdoor pictures before the wedding since the rain had stopped, and I cannot stress enough how wonderful Nora and Katie were in this situation! They showed us how to hold my dress up so it wouldn't get wet and muddy before the ceremony, held an umbrella over me for every second that pictures weren't being taken, and Katie even wrapped a jacket around me and rubbed my shoulders to try to keep me warm between pictures since my dress strapless was strapless and I was freezing! The pictures came out so good and were delivered to us 6 weeks after our wedding, just as promised! We love that the pictures are sent digitally, and we can print what we want in the sizes that we want instead of pre-paying for a certain number of set sizes. We also love that Solare provides a pared down number of images instead of all of the raw pictures - we don't need to sift through 10 copies of the same picture to choose the best one because Nora took care of that for us! We have already recommended Nora to several friends who are engaged and they have hired her too!

Nora! What Can I say! From our engagement photos to our wedding day photos..... you captured everything we wanted!!!! You have an artistic eye and the photos are just BEAUTIFUL! Nora was wonderful to work with! She did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. She has a great eye for what will look great in a photo and in a background. I sent a long list of must haves for the wedding, and she had it up on her phone the whole time we were taking pictures. Her assistant, Katie, was wonderful, as well!! Nora and her team at Solare were amazing from start to finish! Everyone at the wedding was commenting on how you could tell they were getting tons of amazing photos without being intrusive at all. She uses great quality equipment and was very professional throughout while still making us feel comfortable. She was also great at helping out with things like when to start photos, who we should have at what times, and checking with us throughout to make sure we were happy with things if other people asked her to do something (like take a group photo). We couldn't believe how quickly we got our sneak peak and engagement photos, and on top of that they were absolutely stunning!
