The venue is affordable and beautiful, Katie and her staff are so accommodating and responsive, the food is excellent, the sound system is great, and they offer so many small touches to make it your own (sofas, decor, projector, etc). They make it so easy, and they are so helpful, that planning a wedding here was not stressful. We had a lot of questions and they answered them all with patience and kindness. The day of, they went above and beyond (and beyond) to help set up and keep everything running smoothly. Our guests commented to us repeatedly how beautiful the space was, how good the food was, and how great the staff was. Get married here, you will not regret it.

ue where we could provide booze and keep the party rocking past midnight. We hosted about 100 people at Sole Repair for drinks, dessert, toasts, dancing, and games, and the space was perfect. It’s clean and open, with a great little loft that allowed us to divide the space up a little bit, with a dance floor (and limited seating) downstairs and board game tables upstairs. The staff was wonderful to work with. I met with Paula and Joan when we booked the space, almost a year and a half before our event, and while there appeared to be some management changes between then and the day of, it was easy and straightforward all the way through. All of our questions were answered quickly and clearly, and they were super generous and helpful. We added a few things to our order in the month before the wedding, and I was able to stop by and get input to make sure my floor plan made sense before I sent it to my day-of coordinator. They allowed us to bring in our own desserts and snacks (as long as we didn’t need serving staff), and let us use their serving utensils to dish up the cake. Because we’d already served dinner, we only ordered drinks through their bar. We planned to cover drinks up to the minimum, and then have guests pay for their own, which we were going to coordinate with a token system that they offered to help manage. However, we ended up not needing it- our final drink bill fell about $30 short of the minimum! Overall, our experience with them was AMAZING, and if I ever plan another large-scale event, I will definitely look to Sole Repair.

They helped us create a menu (of stationary and passed appetizers) that was tasty and accommodated our budget, and also helped us to create two custom cocktails for the event - one with a house-infused whiskey! They were flexible with how we used the space, but also provided guidance when asked. During the event, we hit the beverage limit that we'd set, and they subtly communicated our options to us via our wedding coordinator (we opted to cover another half hour of drinks, which was worth it). Our guests gave us lots of compliments about the cool venue. One note: parking is pretty difficult in the area. We strongly encouraged our guests to use a taxi or rideshare service.
