I never really heard of any major hiccups so I assume she did her job! My only issue is that her assistants never introduced themselves to me on the day, so it was a tad impersonal, but not a deal breaker!

An event planner was definitely a must and, after reading many recensions and talking directly to Nathalie on a Skype call, I immediately trusted her. I could tell she was reliable and grounded and I needed someone to help me put my ideas into reality (I am a creative soul)... while keeping us "stress-free" during the process and events. Her impeccable French taste also added to our European-style needs: I have a design (fashion/architecture) background and had a lot of ideas/input. I joked with Nathalie I must have been a painful bride... as I am a true perfectionist with great expectations. Add that to being a libra (=highly undecided)... and the Solea team should become saints :). Nathalie was always comprehensive of my views and dedicated us a full time resource - Emmeline, who not only was efficient, but passionate, patient, and creative. Alex, who also helped us the day of the wedding among other projects, was very professional and sweet. I guess my only issue was dealing with the wedding expenses... which ended up doubling vs my expectations. I assumed later this was inevitable, considering the circumstances (my detail oriented views, my personal high standards, my somewhat budget flexibility - which kept me "upgrading"). I had also false hopes that in America a wedding "would cost less" vs Brazil/Europe... but The Solea team always advised on what to expect, fought for lower deals, and reminded me of how much we were spending. In the end I focused on "how much we were saving", since it is a one-in-a-lifetime celebration ;). Our wedding was at the same time classy, low-profile, mind-blowing (people told me it had been the best wedding they had ever attended): flawless organization and executiom, with that design-oriented touch I cared for. My weekend program included a welcome cocktail, the wedding, the next day brunch, and a farewell boat party... add to the full "agenda" that we wanted to pamper my guests with favors: welcome baskets, hang-over kits... the list goes on (thanks again to Emmeline who took care of all of it). I can maybe think of a few details only a bride notices I'd have done differently... but would not touch any major decision/vendor Solea advised. My husband - very demanding - was too busy to participate much, yet he could not have been happier with the outcome. So yes, if we'd do it again... I'd spend it all over, and this time, no remorse :). Nathalie/Emmeline even helped me with some personal issues on the way LOL...: my anxiety to move to Sofia, picking the right apartment (thanks Nat)... Emmeline: I will never forget when I decided - seconds before entering the aisle - that I should "first use the restroom"... as I was afraid not to be able "to hold it" during the ceremony. You were so kind trying to help me with my rolled-up-stuck-multiple-layers-of-skirts... (and Nathalie came madly looking for you since "everyone was waiting"! I felt so guilty. Still laughing on this one 😂). So... Thank you all for making this dream come true, we could not have done it without you!! a "Day Of" coordinator at first because all of the planning had already been done by me (and I'm VERY thorough and a bit OCD). However, much to the suggestion of friends who had gotten married, I started looking into to someone I could hand off the reigns so that I could enjoy my wedding day stress-free. That being said, we had fielded in a few referrals from our friends and our venue, and the 2nd one I contacted was Nathalie from Solea. That was the last coordinator I contacted-- we hired her immediately! From start to finish, Nathalie was available to answer all of my questions and I felt especially at peace because she knew our reception venue like the back of her hand and had worked with many of our vendors for years. A month before our wedding, we were introduced to Nathalie's assistant Alex who was an absolute joy to work with. Like most could expect as weddings get closer to their dates, things changed a bit here and there-- but Nathlie and Alex were always able to adjust things as needed with no stress. Words cannot express how GRATEFUL we were to have Nathalie with us during the rehearsal and more importantly, our wedding day. EVERYTHING was FLAWLESS (and if it wasn't-- I never found out about it). For anyone that need a coordinator for a special event, I will recommend Nathalie and Solea day in and day out. Even my mother raved about how Nathalie was the star vendor of our wedding. Her attention to detail, warm demeanor, organizational skills, communication, etc etc are what made our wedding the most perfect day ever. I couldn't be happier with how everything worked out. Nathalie was extremely responsive and knowledgeable. From the moment that I spoke to her, I knew that I would be in good hands. She was honest, fair and trustworthy. As soon as I hired her, Nathalie stepped in and took over the reins. Originally, I thought that a day-of coordinator would just show on the big day and oversee the process. Nathalie went above and beyond that expectation! She started working on my wedding right away. Among other things, she contacted the vendors, drafted a day-of schedule, walked through the venue with us, and reviewed the vendor contracts to ensure that everything was perfect. Thanks to Nathalie and her team I was able to enjoy my wedding, without having to worry about the little details. We were calm and relaxed the entire day. Nathalie was an indispensable part of our wedding day. Our wedding day was perfect. I could not have asked for anything better. In many respects, I attribute that to Nathalie. She managed all the behind the scenes seamlessly. If I could go back and change one aspect of my wedding planning, it would have been to have hired Nathalie sooner! She was such a wonderful sounding board and calming force whenever I got too stressed out. I was an out of town bride, and Nathalie was able to schedule and coordinate vendor meetings to maximize my very limited time at home. She made it so much easier on my mother and I! I relied heavily on Nathalie's vendor recommendations and they all delivered. My DJ, for example, I hired based only on her recommendation. He was great! I would have never found him were it not for Nathalie. Best money we spent on the wedding! I recommend her services wholeheartedly.

She's more than willing to pick up wedding necessities for you as well if needed. Her staff is super friendly and very helpful. They have one assistant to stay with the bride sort of like a personal bride assistant. She was there to help me whie i was getting ready and stayed until the end oof the night. Nathalie (and her team) is a God send and I recommend her to anybody planning a wedding. If not full planning at least partial or day of planning. You will not be disappointed.

I can say is that I should have taken her from the beginning and not 6 months into planning. Before I hired Nathalie, I was being taken advantage of left and right by multiple vendors while trying to plan my wedding on my own. She was able to fix the mess I had gotten myself into and turn my wedding into a dream. She is the most patient, kind, organized, loyal, and wonderful person. She is everything I could have asked for. I am beyond thankful.

After our initial conversation on the phone I called my fiancé & told him we definitely needed to hire her. Prior to meeting Nathalie I was overwhelmed by the amount of planners & met a few but none of them struck me as "the one." From the get go Nathalie was sweet, attentive, organized, & professional. I remember having a mini breakdown a week prior to the wedding because one of our vendors was on out of the country & Nathalie texted & emailed me while she was on vacation herself & helped me through the breakdown. On the day of the wedding, Nathalie & her assistant Tammy were a great help to calm the nerves & help everyone be on time & at their right places. The night ran smoothly thanks to Nathalie, not once did she pull us apart from enjoying the party for pictures or videos. During the party she would come up to us & ask if everything was to our liking, she even helped me switch from my first pair of shoes to the back up pair I had hiding under our sweetheart table. We truly felt pampered thanks to Nathalie. If we could do it all over again we would hire her as the full planner because she was truly amazing. PLUS she sent me an email recommending restaurants & attractions to see in Paris as that is where we went for our Honeymoon & she is a native Parisian :)
