Solid Rock Photography

ng and very professional. On our wedding day him and Felix executed perfectly and didn’t miss any candid moments. Lastly, photos came out great and on a timely manner. Highly recommend Solid Rock for your photographer services. Thanks again Jamal!!!

ad to postpone because of COVID. We had multiple calls with Jamal before the big day to iron out all of the details and make sure that everything ran smoothly on the day of the wedding. On our actual wedding day a hurricane came through, requiring us to move our wedding inside and change our wedding photo locations. Jamal adapted to everything crazy the day threw at us and took absolutely beautiful photos! I cannot recommend him enough!!

dding day. He made the process so seamless and easy and is such a great guy! We loved working with Jamal and we would highly recommend to use him as your wedding photographer! Our pictures came out absolutely perfect!

call, Jamal made us feel comfortable, explained every detail of the process, and was always available to us when we needed him. Jamal is very detail oriented and made sure he knew about every single important item for our wedding. Jamal had great ideas for our wedding pictures and delivered throughout the night capturing wonderful moments. On top of everything, Jamal is also a great guy, easy to talk to and fun to have around on your wedding day. We will recommend Jamal to anyone!

al. He was also incredibly understanding, flexible, and accommodating when we changed our venue and photography needs several times over due to COVID. Our wedding day turned out to be very rainy - and he readily stood out in the pouring rain to capture our first look and pre-ceremony photos. After he left for the evening, our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful Jamal was! And of course, our wedding photos came out beautifully (he is a very talented photographer!) and perfectly captured our special day. I highly recommend Jamal for your wedding photography needs - if I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!!

instantly felt at ease! He was open to doing anything we wanted: fun lifts, dancing… just being ourselves! Jamal was also great about finding different locations at the venue, cuing us where to look, and giving us different postures to try so that we got a great variety of pictures! The photos are all clear and beautiful, not easy to accomplish on a 93 degree, brutally sunny day with no cloud cover! All our family and friends were blown away by the quality of our pictures! We are so happy with the photos from our wedding, and hope Jamal will consider taking photos for us in the future!

nothing but flawless. Jamal, the owner and main photographer, was truly the most professional, easy going, passionate vendor we worked with throughout our whole wedding experience. As crazy as it sounds, I don't think our day would have been as special as it was without him there - his attentive yet calming energy was EXACTLY what we needed on our big day. We had booked two photographers with Solid Rock for our 10/10/20 wedding that was supposed to have 120+ guests but due to COVID-19, we decided in August to do a small ceremony/reception with just Jamal in a totally different location. Jamal was understanding, adaptable, and communicative the whole time and really eased our nerves for the day of. He arrived on time, was willing to do anything he could to make sure he got the perfect shot, and made everyone feel extremely comfortable. Though we only had him for a few hours before the ceremony (getting ready, first look, tons of couples photos, family photos, etc) through an hour after the ceremony, he totally maximized the time and got some BEAUTIFUL shots. He was so great, we even had family members coming up to us letting him know how much they liked him!! I could honestly go on and on about how great Jamal and Solid Rock Photography is - he made such a strong positive impression on us that we've been recommending him to everyone we know. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and go with Solid Rock Photography for your big day. You will absolutely NOT regret it!!!

about how the pandemic was impacting us and worked with us every step of the way. The day of he was super prompt and made not only me, but also my bridesmaids and even my super shy flower girl feel so comfortable! We LOVED our pictures and can’t believe how quickly we got them back! No regrets in hiring Jamal and will be using him again in the future!

d he sent us our photos so quickly which really helped us. I’m so happy with his quick edit time. During the shoot he made us feel comfortable and we had a lot of fun. He knew where to take photos and put us in the scenery of the venue that made sense because we had no idea where to pose but we trusted his vision. I love how our photos came out and can’t wait to share our new engagement photos with our family. I would definitely recommend him for an engagement and wedding shoot! Jamal was approachable and not intimidating which made us feel comfortable the whole day.

ositive and upbeat! We never met him in person until the day of the wedding, but we did speak to him over the phone about a week or two before. The day of the wedding he was phenomenal with communicating his ideas about shots as well as his whereabouts if he was going to be out of site and taking pictures of decor or other vendors, etc. He was super flexible with my husband and I since we were pretty laid back about what pictures to take and where to take them. We felt so at ease the entire day around Jamal. He came with two cameras because he was buy himself but he honestly took the most phenomenal pictures (although we're not surprised as we started stalking his Instagram and FB posts before and after we booked him lol). Jamal is the photographer for your wedding if you want someone who is timely, positive, super professional, and relaxed. We have nothing but sweet things to say about Jamal! He is awesome and you will not regret booking him!

ct moments and was such a pleasure!

tured everything. I am so grateful for the amount of hard work he put into our day making us feel special and so comfortable. He has great ideas and took so many pictures. If you are looking for a photographer look no further because it doesn't get any better than Solid Rock.

e our cliff side wedding photos!!! He was professional, and very informative. He helped direct the poses and gave positive affirmation, because lord knows I’m the far from a model. Lol. I loved working with him. He was punctual yet flexible to the needs of our day. I could not have asked for more. You won’t be disappointed if you book him. Guaranteed!!

y wonderful. They were both extremely genuine people with a love for what they do. He was flexible with my day-of timeline and catered to changing circumstances. There were times during the reception that he seemed to come out of nowhere to grab a shot! I highly recommend this company if you are searching for a great photographer!

our wedding day, helping us feel at ease in front of the camera, and was a steady presence amidst the chaos of the festivities. Most importantly, he took beautiful pictures.

beautiful!) We would highly recommend him!

the most on top of everything. He was always punctual for every call and meeting. He responds so quickly and thinks through every little detail. We didn’t give him the easiest job of corralling a huge family, lots of kids, and photos with 100+ people. He happily took photos of us on the beach in 90+ degree heat. At the reception, the AC wasn’t working in the venue properly and he still kept going like an energizer bunny. He took the most gorgeous photos of our special day----we really couldn’t be happier. Prior to our wedding day, I mentioned to Jamal that my husband sometimes looks super awkward in photos or won’t smile, etc. and he looks so handsome and comfortable in all of the photos Jamal took. My favorite photos turned out to be the first look photos, which I thought were going to look kind of awkward/super staged. They looked totally natural and captured how we were feeling at the time. There were some really great candid shots, as well. Everyone felt totally comfortable around him. Our wedding was on a Sunday and Jamal had already shot a wedding the Saturday and another wedding the Friday before. He was still extremely energetic and immediately uploaded the photos. I couldn’t believe how fast we got back the proofs. Finally, the price was by far the most reasonable I found. I will add photos once I get back the edited versions (still need to narrow down which we want edited because there are so many good ones)! I really recommend Jamal for your photographer for any event.

cares about his passion so deeply, it is incredibly apparent. He was always any easy message away for any changes in the day-of plan or just general questions we had. Our final meeting was thorough and he was well-equipped to take on day-of. He and the second photographer we booked through him were set up before we arrived and immediately began to give direction. His presence was calming and he was an honest joy to be around. The whole day and night went smoothly and we received our proofs within a few short days! Even our selected edits came back very quickly! Jamal was everything we hoped for and we are very happy with our decision to go with him.

r us. The pictures came out beautiful. I didn't think I got a lot of pictures that I would want, but he got every single moment in a picture perfect way! Jamal from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU for making our day so perfect.

with us for our engagement photo shoot and wedding day which both turned out like a fairytale. For our engagement photoshoot he met us on the Atlantic City Boardwalk where my husband and I first met and captured magical moments that we hadn't even imagined. The way he positioned us and directed us through the photoshoot was brilliant. For our wedding day he met us at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club and was ready to take every photo we'd previously discussed. He worked with our videographer seamlessly and didn't skip a beat. Thanks to Jamal we have memories from our wedding that will never be forgotten. If you are searching for a photographer look no further, Jamal is your guy!

be. So glad we chose him and would suggest him to all those with big events coming up.

hank you enough for capturing such incredible photos for us!

amal was great about answering any questions I had and going with the flow! We had a little family trouble halfway through the day, but Jamal never missed a beat and made sure he kept the focus on my husband and I! He's so kind and makes sure he gets whatever shots we want! We got our proof pictures not even 12 hours later!! I would recommend him to EVERYONE!

y. The power went out and we had to change up everything at the very last minute. I felt like I was going to cry! Everything was falling apart! But when Jamal showed up he made me feel so much better. He was keeping my family and I calm and happy. He made everyone in my family feel so comfortable. He is a great guy you can really count with such great talent!! Highly recommend him for your special day!!

s way to make sure you get it. He’s affordable and truly talented at his craft. BOOK HIM!

g my hair in the sink and redoing it myself), my sister (Maid of Honor) had to go to the ER four hours before the wedding from a 5hr energy mishap, and I was already emotional that both my grandparents couldn't make it do to sudden medical issues. I literally do not know how Jamal managed to take and capture such beautiful moments for me through this all. He was the only thing at my wedding going right! He was punctual, so polite, and completely calm and understanding. He helped keep me on time without making me feel rushed. Everyone told me how great he was and that I chose a great photographer, and I couldn't agree more. My husband and I are so grateful for all that Jamal had done for us and for the amazing pictures he captured on our crazy day that ended beautiful! He is the kind of photographer that you would want on your big crazy day hands down.

. He was so accommodating throughout the whole process. He listened to what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. Our photographs are absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier. I would recommend Jamal to any and all brides looking for a photographer. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Jamal !!!

ctures of us, our family and friends as well as two scenic sites to take some couple pictures. Jamal was a complete professional the entire day, took stunning photographs, and also made all the photo shoots fun! He brought two cameras (strapped on him with the coolest leather strap harness that got compliments from ALL my wedding guests haha) and took photos the entire time giving my husband and I a great collection. Of all the things to budget on your wedding day, I would say don't compromise on a photographer as these are the only lasting physical memories you will have of that day, and Jamal truly captured the entire feeling of the day and night. I can't recommend Jamal enough not just for wedding day pictures but engagement pictures, high fashion photographs, everything. I can say you will not disappointed as my husband and I can testify looking back on our wedding pictures and relieving the entire day and night as we experienced it:)

n for sure for upcoming events. I look forward to seeing you again Jamal!

y gratitude enough! And we have soooo many great pictures!! We love you Jamal!!

hly recommend Jamal!!!

e I heard back from him! Jamal was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day. He is kind, relaxed, and makes you feel comfortable. We actually had guests comment to us on how nice he was! Jamal was so flexible as to when pictures were taken. He braved the cold and snow to set up beautiful outdoor shots. When he was taking pictures of the important moments, he was so carful not to be "in your face" as other photographers can be. He fit right in during the reception and captured some amazing shots of smiling guests having a great time. He is hard working, dedicated, and professional and does whatever it takes to make his clients happy and give them beautiful pictures!

were there to catch every second of our wedding. We got our unedited proofs back right away and we were blown away by how gorgeous each photo was! We cannot thank you enough for everything. Jamal takes his time and creates beautiful images. He is very professional, friendly, and was great to work with!

. When we received our 500+ wedding photos back, there wasn't a bad photo. It's was extremely hard to narrow down the choice. Our pics are everything, if I could upload a shot I would. I plan on using Solid Rock for all future events. Outstanding work!

hoto ideas that I wouldn't have thought of myself in the moment. I loved that! I could tell he was trying to get that perfect shot, or have the best lighting with every picture he took. He took every shot I asked him too. He is a true professional. At the end of the night I was bummed when he was leaving--he was such an important part of our wedding day that I just wanted him to stay! Great photographer all around!!

ng about Jamal is that he cares about his clients and does things that's makes them happy. He is so talented and creative and I will definitely recommend him to all my relatives and friends.

nalism and dedication. His work ethic is unparalleled and we are so glad to have had an opportunity to work with him. Our families have already decided that any event in the future would be photographed by Jamal. Thank you very much for making our day so special.

above and beyond the duties of a photographer He captured the night beautifully and we can't wait to relive our wedding day all over again when looking at our pictures.

zing ideas for great shots as well as his dedication to getting the ones that we wanted. He loves what he does and that is evident through his enthusiasm during the entire process. He is easy to talk to and communicate with, as well as quick to provide photos after taking them. We absolutely love all of our pictures and can't wait to show them off to family and friends!

larly to make sure we were on the same page about the shots I wanted. On the day of he got so many beautiful shots and we barely even knew he was there. He didn't monopolize our time so we still got to enjoy our wedding day. I highly recommend him

for poses and backgrounds. He was enthusiastic and energetic. Jamal's positive attitude made the day fun for all, which was reflected in our happy and relaxed smiles in our photos.

time!

. It was such a fun experience. He is very laid back but professional, and isn't afraid to joke around to keep the atmosphere light and fun. He is very good at explaining what kind of poses he wants you to do and how they will look in the final product. I felt absolutely beautiful the entire time during the shoot. Overall, the best wedding photographer I could have asked for!
