We recently had our wedding at this incredible venue, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! Our guests absolutely loved it, and many of them told us it was their favorite wedding venue they’ve ever been to. The food was delicious! (Opt for the steak)— and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate food allergies, which made everyone feel so cared for. A special shoutout to Jenn and Dakota, who were simply the best! They made sure everything ran smoothly, were attentive to every detail, and made us feel so supported throughout the entire process. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding experience!

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE at Solitude Links went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. Thanks to them it was! Jenn and Dakota were godsents for getting us through the planning, and Chef Jordan knows his way in a kitchen. Everything he makes made my taste buds dance! Everyone who came to the wedding ranted and raved about how kind and attentive the staff was, how beautiful the venue was and how AMAZING the food was! 10/10, I hope someone I know has a wedding here just so I can come back!

Solitude Links was an incredible venue to hold our wedding and ceremony at. Jen and Dakota helped were always available to answer the many questions that we have had throughout the year of planning. Solitude was an amazing venue for our wedding! Jen was very professional and communicative which made the wedding planning process very smooth. The day of the wedding was very smooth as the staff ran everything and were very attentive. The food was delicious, and the views are amazing.

What a day to remember, July 27, 2024! Our daughter and new son in laws day was perfect!! We couldn’t have ask for more! The venue was stunning, the food was absolutely perfect( guest are still contacting us to say how perfect it was). The staff was always available when we needed them. Jenn and Dakota were so helpful with everything!! I would highly recommend booking Solitude Inn along the 3rd fairway, the wedding party stayed there for two nights and it was perfect being a 3 minute walk from the wedding venue! Highly recommend for your event!! LOVE this place!!

My husband and I got married at Solitude Links Banquet Center in April 2024. The entire process from start to finish was spectacular. Jenn and Dakota were so detailed and professional at making sure our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. They were available to meet many times to review the wedding plan, and always responded quick to my questions. Our wedding day was actually perfect. Everyone raved about the food. We had the pleasure of booking our rehearsal dinner with Solitude Links, along with a brunch the morning after our wedding. Each occasion, the food was absolutely incredible. Food at the wedding came out hot, flavorful, and delicious. We would recommend hosting your rehearsal dinner or a brunch/shower at this venue as well. Additionally, we heard from all of our guests about how wonderful the staff was on our wedding night. Everyone worked so hard to make sure our evening was perfect. Solitude links provided many recommended vendors to us that we booked for our special day. We are thankful for the recommendations, because our DJ, photographer, and florist were all recommended, and they were fantastic. They really did take care of everything. Setting up the ceremony hall and the reception hall, timing the ceremony, dinner, and dessert perfectly, and cleaning up everything afterwards. We are very thankful that we chose to have our wedding at Solitude Links. We want to do it again! We would absolutely recommend getting married at this venue. You will not regret it.

Where to begin on our wonderful experience with Solitude Links. When we started planning for our wedding I was transitioning jobs and my fiancee was doing the same. We decided we didn't want to deal with the added stress of finding caterers or bartenders and searched exclusively for "all-inclusive" venues. Solitude Links was the second venue we toured and it was the last! Jenn and her team are fantastic to work with from the jump. She communicated effectively and professionally all with an air of personal touches that makes you feel like she's there just for you and your partner. People raved about the food constantly! The ability to have the ceremony, reception, and sleeping arrangements all in one place was so perfect for our party! The shuttle service was an added bonus and we even had the flexibility of moving the timing of transportation around as our party winded down before our end time. The service staff was incredible and made us feel so special the entire time we were there. And! They have a golf simulator in the pro shop that the groomsmen could use while they got ready for our February wedding. I couldn't recommend this place more and will always recommend it to future couples!

I don’t even know where to start talking about this amazing place. My husband went golfing here while we were separated during COVID border closures and sent me pictures saying “we should get married here” and that’s what we did. We never look at any other venues because the grounds and view at Solitude Links are absolutely breathtaking - even walking into the room on my wedding weekend it brought happiness to my heart. This venue is nothing short of beautiful with intricate details that make it so perfect, like bridal suites to get ready in and store your things. It was my dream to be married outside by the gorgeous gazebo and although a bit chilly, we made it happen! Jenn and Dakota were the two coordinators we dealt with during the booking and planning process. They have a very helpful Bridal Guide that includes recommended vendors to help with planning. They answered every endless question I had throughout the whole process and helped me to plan the most perfect wedding. Every little detail they helped accommodate like adding Caesars and a late night poutine bar was so appreciated. Jenn was amazing the whole wedding weekend to keep us organized and telling us what we needed to do for the ceremony - that was a lifesaver. Now the food…. There are no words to describe how scrumptious the food was. I am not exaggerating when I say every single guest commented that it was the best food they have ever had. Everyone was stuffed beyond belief because it was so good they couldn’t stop eating. It’s been a month since our wedding and I still hear it every day. Every appetizer and course was to die for!!! Compliments to the chef! The staff… every single one of them were so kind and helpful. Some of the best service I’ve ever received. Bree was our lead person for the day and she worked so hard to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Even with a few glitches, she ironed them all out and I’m so grateful to her. Carissa, our head table server, never left my hand without a drink. She was so sweet and kind, and made sure we were eating on such a busy day. I watched all the servers and bartenders personally wait on each table - beyond any service I’ve ever witnessed at a wedding before. We were astonished at them all. No one left hungry or thirsty. They even helped us clean up at the end of the night. All linens were included with the venue which made everything so easy for us. We even rented the beautiful wooden backdrop from Dakota so we didn’t have to find one and bring it. Solitude also has a shuttle that you can book to bring guests to and from the venue. This service was so affordable and much needed! We could make sure our guests got back safely. We are so glad this was an offered option! The driver was very patient and kind. All I can say is if you book your wedding here, you WILL NOT regret it. It was the most perfect and amazing day. Everything I dreamed of and more. My guests had the best time and said it was definitely one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended.

Our wedding at Solitude Links was absolutely beautiful!!! Jennifer and Dakota were extremely helpful during the entire planning process and were always available to answer all of our questions by phone, email, or in person, and they even gave me a lot of suggestions to help my day go as smooth as possible! They were very flexible with last minute changes and were so great to work with!! They were AMAZING!! We were so grateful our dog was able to be included in our wedding ceremony and besides the incredible location, this was one of the other reasons we chose this venue. Jennifer, Dakota, and the entire team made it such a fun day for us and loved that we could include our dog! Additionally, the entire staff including the servers, bartenders, and management was absolutely PHENOMENAL and could not have been any better! They made everything run so smoothly and were there to help coordinate extra little things including our sparkler exit photo! The food was a 10/10 and so glad to hear the same from all of our guests!! Over a week later and we are still hearing amazing feedback! The service to myself and my husband, our bridal party, and our parents tables was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond for not only us but all of our guests. We can’t say enough good things about this venue and everyone who works here!!!!! It’s an absolutely beautiful wedding location with all of the trees, gazebo, and awesome reception location overlooking the golf course with all of the windows. We had an option of an indoor or outdoor ceremony - even in November we chose the outdoor and it turned out to be perfect!! If you’re considering this venue, I’d say look no further!!😊

I am completely overwhelmed with joy. My husband and I just got married 11.11.23 at Solitude Links, and we could not have asked for a better place to get married! Jenn & her staff were incredibly responsive to any and all questions had throughout the year leading up to the wedding. Solitude Links was a beautiful venue, and you had a lot of freedom to really make it yours. The support from the staff was our biggest thing. We always felt supported, heard, and valued. Jenn worked out a payment plan with us, and she worked alongside me to put together the timeline/small details, and I had zero things to worry about the day of the wedding. Everything went perfectly! They provide wonderful day of coordinating, down to her getting me tape for a dress malfunction right as I was about to walk down the aisle! Jenn and her team go above and beyond to help their couples. Also, props to the chef, as we are still receiving compliments about how delicious our food was. Thank you so much to Solitude for making our day perfect :)

Jen along with Dakota and the rest of the staff at solitude links took care of us right from day one and I don’t have a single negative comment about the whole experience. I didn’t think a perfect wedding could happen but they proved me wrong. Professional and friendly with great attention to detail.

This was the first and only venue we toured and met with while trying to decide on a venue and I do not regret our decision one bit. Jenn, the wedding coordinator has been amazing since day one, before we even booked this venue. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the staff. We had a two year long engagement and Jenn helped us every step of the way with any questions we had. Jenn is the best person we have ever met and really loves what she does. We also worked with Dakota, who is just as amazing. No matter how many times I emailed them they always responded in a timely matter and so polite. Jenn and Dakota both made our wedding day run so smooth and perfect. They are hands down why we loved this venue so much, on top of it being so beautiful and having amazing food. We have had so many guests rave about how awesome the food was and how pretty the venue is itself. All of our bridal party keeps telling us how awesome our coordinator was. At the end of the night, we did a private last dance but wanted pictures, one of the staff members was so kind to take these for us while keeping it private and intimate. The staff all day and night was absolutely amazing and we cannot thank them all enough for making our wedding day so perfect. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Thank you Solitude Links staff!!

We were so impressed from our first time visiting the venue up through our wedding day! Jennifer and her team went way above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was the best it could be. The outdoor venue for the service is absolutely beautiful. The staff coordinated the day wonderfully and made sure the guests had all they needed. The food was delicious. We had several guests tell us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We are so happy we chose Solitude Links for our special day.

Solitude links was the perfect venue for our wedding day. We knew it was the place for us as soon as we walked the the doors to tour it. We had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour with firepits, cornhole and an outdoor bar. The ambiance of it truly does not make you feel like you are in Michigan. We received so many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous it was. Jenn, the wedding coordinator is phenomenal to work with and never had me feeling worried about my day. The whole staff was truly there to make it unforgettable for us and all my guests were shocked. I truly recommend this venue!

Had my wedding reception and ceremony at Solitude Links in June 2023, and my experience with them couldn’t have been better. Jennifer and Dakota are both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The staff was incredible and we got tons of compliments on the bartenders and servers. The food was also phenomenal! I swear it tasted even better than it did during the tasting. Our guests made many comments about how fantastic the food was, as wedding food is typically nothing to write home about. The outdoor deck was a hit, and the view is just beautiful. The surrounding area in Port Huron is also great for out of town guests to stay as there’s lots to do and it’s a scenic area. Can’t recommend this venue enough!

We ended up pushing the ceremony 15 minutes back for the rain to stop and had the most amazing wedding day we could ask for!! The Hours Devours were amazing (especially the fried cheese ravioli’s and candied bacon), and the generous portions of dinner (parmesan baked chicken and beef tenderloin) were all delicious!Each and every staff member throughout the night was also so friendly to us and our guest to make sure we were having the best night ever! Jenn you are best, thank you for everything!

Solitude Links should be your top option for your wedding - I promise!! I had a tough time finding a venue. We are on the large size with 300 people invited. I knew I wanted a location that felt outdoors and beautiful- not a box with four bare walls - and I was limited with my options. My now husband loves to golf this course and suggested that we take a look. I originally counted out a golf course with price and the general vibe but, wow did this place change my mind. When we met with Jennifer we quickly discovered all of the magic her team creates! The hall itself has all its windows creating a 180 view of the course and its beautiful lakes. There is an elevator that accommodates disabled and elderly family members. It has rustic features that create - a vibe! The ceremony was right on the water that brings in a touch of the lake. For extra space for the ceremony guests can watch from the balcony above which we had plenty of people do and they said it was a wonderful spot! The entrance of this venue is a beautiful corridor that is full of mirrors. We rented two barrels from Dakota (another AMAZING piece of our day) that created an outdoors vibe for our seating chart to sit on. We also rented a backdrop from him that was easy to set up and payment as a preferred vendor with solitude links. For all of our vendors we used what they had as preferred and it was SO accurate. On site there are two suites- Let me tell you - AMAZING! Both have bathrooms in them and the bridal party can have access to them all night. It was PERFECT for me and my 8 bridesmaids, 3 mothers, and a flower girl! We got there at 8 am along with the hair and makeup team. From there Jennifer, Dakota, Bre and the entire team helped us stay on track! They were there to literally coordinate the ceremony, guide me to my photos and assure I was having the BEST time. As for the food, it was deliciouso!! We were in an off season package so we had the duet plates and ate the mushroom chicken and hibachi salmon - chefs kiss. Everyone raved about it! I personally had the best chicken and tenders of my life because I eat like a kid! The bartenders were so kind and polite. Unfortunately I had a family member that was not behaving very kind. They worked with professionalism and tried to make sure I didn’t know! They truly just wanted to make sure I had a good time! I know they went through a lot and it kept them busy!! Jennifer was so cool and calm when she brought it up and helped me work through the problem without feeling even a bit flustered. She was like a wedding mom and truly is an expert! At the end of the night our lead, Bre, was able to help save my wedding cake so that we could pick it up from them in the morning as our hotel did not have a large cake or freezer to save it. We picked it up the next morning, no problem at all! Our guests began arriving about 3:30 or so with the ceremony at 5. The ceremony was very quick for room to take it all in! I cannot express enough how smoothly the entire thing went and how much longer we wish it could last! I was so sad to board our shuttle and say goodbye to the staff. Afterword's I truly have only heard good things….we have genuinely had multiple people say “I am not joking that was the best wedding we have ever gone to” and I am not joking when I say it is highly in part of Solitude Links! I would rate this as a top choice - Jennifer and her team are so worth it!

We have loved working with Jenn and Dakota at Solitude for our wedding. They have been so fun to wedding plan alongside and communicate with. They have put my fiancé and I at ease and were always able to answer any/all questions, making the entire wedding planning process feel easy and fun! I highly recommended this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, rustic, and elegant venue. Our wedding day is 15 days away and I have complete trust that everything will go perfectly. Solitude links is the most perfect venue! Inside is super gorgeous and you cannot beat the view. The staff at solitude are absolutely AMAZING to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure your special day runs smoothly. Jen is literally a rock star! Jen answered my many questions, and was very patient, helpful, and kind. The staff at solitude are very professional and will ensure that your day is nothing short of amazing! We used all the preferred vendors at solitude which helped the day run efficiently and smoothly My husband and I had the most perfect day and we believe solitude links played an important role in that.

We had a smaller wedding, under 75 guests. We held the wedding and reception all in the same room and they did a great job transforming the room. The food was delicious, the late night snack of popcorn was delicious. Would recommend working with Jen and Dakota to plan your event

Truly had my dream wedding here! My guests are still raving that Solitude Links has the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. Staff was always a pleasure to deal with and were phenomenal the day of the wedding. Everything ran so smooth. Jenn was wonderful to work with. Very helpful and accommodating. All of my vendors were preferred by Jenn and I cannot say enough positive things about how awesome they were and how well they all worked together.

If you are thinking about booking at Solitude Links, do it for the sole reason of the wedding planner there. Jen was the absolute best to work with, and she made wedding planning a breeze with her! She was always prompt with her communication and she was very organized. Every wedding will have last minute requests/things that come up and Jen took it all in stride. She even helped me the day before while I was setting up my decorations! The food was great, venue is gorgeous, and the staff make it a 5 star experience. The night of the wedding was flawless thanks to the staff - Mackenzie, Dakota, and Bree just to name a few! Bree served me and my husband and she was so kind to actually package our dinner and desserts (that went nearly untouched!) We were pleasantly surprised, and enjoyed it for lunch the following day. FYI - Booking the Inn at Solitude Links was my favorite decision. We spent the previous night there and had a relaxing evening with family and friends. We woke up on the wedding morning and got ready there too. LOVE LOVE LOVE Solitude Links, and I will always remember how much fun my wedding weekend was thanks to them.

Words cannot even begin to describe how amazing of a job Solitude Links did for our wedding!! The venue is gorgeous! Guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue is, how nice all the staff members are, and most importantly, how amazing the food was! The midnight snack of sliders was the best midnight snack I ever had at a wedding! They’re super affordable as well! I can’t believe this past weekend was my wedding because it was the best wedding ever!! Jenn and Dakota, thank you so much for making all of our dreams come true! You were so helpful through the whole process and the staff there that night was so amazingly nice to everyone!

All I can say is WOW!! The day was beyond everything we hoped for. Solitude links is an amazing venue with an even more amazing support staff. Jen & Dakota worked with me even when I asked questions way too often! They were so polite, kind, and so helpful! The venue was perfect. The food was delicious and the entire experience was incredible. I look back at pictures and truly cannot believe that was my wedding. Everything was so special. We got married in May 2022 and I do not have enough words to describe how wonderful of an experience we had with Solitude Links. We postponed our wedding twice due to COVID and Jennifer at Solitude was SO accommodating. Every silly question or request we had, Jenn answered so quickly and was so incredibly patient. She was always available for a phone call and made the planning process so much less stressful. The day of, Jenn and Dakota were absolute rockstars. Everything went so smoothly because of them and their hard work. Even when my husband and I were late and were the ones that caused some delays in the schedule, they moved everything along without an issue. Dakota was so friendly and was always there throughout the night whenever we needed him. The wait staff were so amazing, they served everything so quickly and were so kind and welcoming as well! You can tell how much the entire staff at Solitude care about their job; they make you feel so special. If I could go back to that day, I wouldn't change a single thing. Thank you again everyone at Solitude, I will be forever grateful to everyone there for making our special day so perfect <3

We had our wedding at Solitude Links and it was absolutely amazing and beautiful! We cannot say enough great things about this venue, the atmosphere, the staff, the food and the site coordinator Jenn. She was amazing from the first time that we met, was upfront and personal and really listened to our wants and our needs. On the day of our wedding, the staff went above and beyond especially Marissa as she was in charge of our head table. She brought us appetizers and drinks during our photos while our guests were enjoying the cocktail party and made sure that we had everything we needed all night long, she was fabulous! The rest of the staff was friendly, kind and top-notch as well. We did the strolling dinner and received a ton of compliments from our guests regarding the quality of food and how everything stayed hot. We honestly are so grateful we found this venue and we can't thank Jenn and her staff enough. Thank you for making our day so incredibly stress-free and beautiful.

Finding a wedding venue was not easy during a pandemic. With limited dates and options, we are so glad we chose to have our special day at Solitude Links. Jen, the coordinator, was hands down the best wedding vendor we worked with. She is very kind, responsive, and helpful. She coordinated on our wedding day, and even drove to the store during our dinner hour to get more mixer for our signature drink. The food was outstanding as well. The venue is gorgeous, especially in the summer with the glowing sunset as a backdrop to your venue! We can't recommend Solitude Links enough.

I had my daughter's wedding at Solitude Links on October 9, 2021. I can't say enough amazing things about this venue. Jenn was the best event planner. She was able to answer every question that I had (and there were A LOT of them). She was able to walk me through every part of the planning, spent a lot of time with us coordinating colors, and helped us plan the most beautiful ceremony by the waterfall and reception. At the reception, the staff was wonderful. Jessica was an outstanding server. She jumped at every request. The bartenders, Sarah and Courtney, were efficient and friendly to all of the guests. Our guests were amazed with the amount of food that was served. We had the pork tenderloin and pretzel encrusted chicken as a duet plate. It was so delicious. I got so many compliments from our guests about the food. Most of all, we really enjoyed, Dakota, who the captain of the wedding. He saw to it that the wedding and reception went off without a hitch. He was a great entertainer getting everyone out on the dance floor and dancing with us. He made sure dinner was on time, the dessert table was kept stocked, and all of us were well attended. I can't say THANK YOU enough to Solitude Links for making my daughter's wedding out of this world!!!

Working with Jenn and all of Solitude Links was absolutely wonderful, even having to plan in the middle of a pandemic! Jenn helped us every step of the way, was very responsive and helped us have the most perfect wedding day without having to stress about anything! The food is absolutely amazing and there is not a bad spot to take a picture. Overall thanks to Solitude we had the best wedding day I could’ve imagined!

Everything was perfect, and Jenn was the best. Timely, straight forward, smooth, and flexible. Would recommend solitude to anyone looking! Grand room is beautiful and huge, had nothing but compliments on the food, bartenders, and late night snacks. We did the fillet and pretzel chicken duet plate and the pretzel late night snack. People are still talking about it.

We had our ceremony and reception here on August 28th and it truly was the wedding we have always dreamed of. This venue is stunning inside and out and the staff was incredible. The gazebo was the most beautiful and perfect place to have our ceremony and the reception hall looked amazing. Everything turned out exactly as we imagined. Jenn made the entire process so easy and stress-free and the staff was super helpful and friendly. All of our guests had the most amazing time and can’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. We couldn’t be happier! She was always available to chat and went out of her way to help with all our wedding planning needs. I asked her probably over 100 questions throughout the wedding planning process and she was friendly, patient and helpful every single time. We are so grateful to her and her awesome team for making our wedding day perfect!

There are not enough words to describe the amount of gratitude that we have for Jenn & the staff at Solitude Links! We booked our wedding pre-covid times and when the pandemic hit Jenn & the team made sure that we were kept up to date with all guidelines. We were given plenty of options for refunds/rebooking/etc (which was a huge relief after hearing horror stories of friends at other venues). We ended up having a small ceremony in August of 2020 and then a "part 2" this past July of 2021 with a reception. Seriously, if you are considering this venue, just do it! The venue is just so stunning and has so many great spots for pictures. The food is also phenomenal and so is every single staff member! Not to mention the price compared to other venues of its kind can't be beat. Our event(s) were so perfect and we really cannot recommend it enough.

Me and my husband had our wedding at Solitude Links Golf Course on 8/13/21 and it was perfect. We originally had it scheduled for 8/28/20 but rescheduled due to the pandemic. Jennifer Hollenbeck the event director kept in contact with us and made everything so easy. Jenn ran through our rehearsal the day before and answered any questions we had. The day of her and her staff were amazing. They helped me set up things and everyone was willing to help if i needed anything. We had our ceremony outside and it was beautiful! So many people gave us compliments on how amazing and beautiful it was. Our reception was inside and we did a plated dinner. Our meals were out in no time and they were soo good. We did the filet and the salmon and everyone was coming up to us telling us how amazing everything the food was. It was the most perfect day and we really appreciated everything that Solitude did for us! Definitely wish we could relive our day over and over!

Solitude Links is the most beautiful venue! We absolutely loved getting married here! The grounds are gorgeous and made for the perfect backdrop to our photos. The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony and tranquility hall was great for our reception. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was! Jennifer was fantastic throughout all of the planning process. She answered emails and questions quickly and was always willing to help. All of the rest of the staff was very polite and helpful the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend Solitude Links to anyone looking for a beautiful venue to make all of your wedding dreams come true!

We booked our wedding at Solitude Links in 2018 for our June 2021 wedding. It was the first venue we toured and we booked it right away after our engagement. We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the accommodations. Jennifer is extremely helpful and responsive. I suggest you rent one of both of the rental properties on the course. We rented both (one through the venue and the other is through VRBO) and it was perfect. They were so convenient and it allowed for us all to get ready in one location, which was easier for our photographers and videographers. The course is absolutely beautiful and we highly recommend booking your wedding here.

I can’t say enough good things about Solitude Links! Jennifer is amazing and so helpful. The staff is so nice also. I had so many compliments on the food and the venue! It was beautiful and there were so many beautiful places to take pictures. A waitress accidentally dropped the mashed potatoes so some guests got them late so they made it up to us by getting us late night pizza! This place is great!

Jenn and the rest of the staff at Solitude Links were absolutely amazing! Even though it was during the pandemic our wedding couldn't have run any smoother! Jenn was always available to answer all questions I had and she was so helpful throughout the whole planning process. The venue is breathtaking! Great for pictures! Food was delicious! We got the filet mignon and chicken marsala! You won't be disappointed at the food tasting with so many options to try! My husband and I would highly recommend Solitude Links for a wedding!

This venue was everything we could ever have dreamed of. It had an amazing porch area were guest were able to view the sunset. A beautiful scenic view of small lakes and pine trees. So many photo opportunities of rustic scenery. Plus amazing food and staff! Jennifer was dream to work with and I will continue again and again to recommend this venue.
