Throughout my wedding planning process, as I thought of the day, I guess I just assumed that people would know what I wanted to come next, as weddings all have similar components. However, I ran into Sarah the month before my wedding, and she was able to coordinate for me, and with hindsight giving us the best perspective , I can say two things:
1. If you want things to go smoothly, it is delusional to think that you will be able to coordinate your own wedding day.
2. Sarah is wonderful at coordinating weddings!
Sarah takes the time to have a conversation with you and anyone involved in the planning, to make sure that she has the full picture of what you want to happen during your event and help create what you have spent months envisioning. From the start of the ceremony to everything that you want to happen during the reception, there are lots of little steps that could lead to a fragmented event; however, she also has great suggestions from lots of experience, to help with the flow.
When the day of the event arrives, she is the point person for all questions and logistics. As the bride, I was able to just focus on getting ready, and enjoying the party that my husband and I had planned. Everything that we had talked about with Sarah, from the extensive outdoor setup, the ceremony, and all the little things that punctuate the reception, was executed and coordinated beautifully by Sarah.
Sarah is an amazing wedding coordinator. She coordinated our daughter’s wedding last year. She is so detailed, has excellent people skills, listens to what the bride and groom want, efficient implementer and positive spirit.
She kept things moving, from the fotos before the ceremony to the very last dance of the night. She went the extra mile and helped clean up. Couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator!
