Leading up to my wedding day, Rob was always available for a quick call which you can schedule any time with a convenient link he has in his email signature. He created my whole wedding day timeline, which was super helpful since I did not have a wedding planner and was a little stressed about it. We went off the timeline on the day of my wedding, but Rob kept his cool and went with the flow. I forgot to mention, my wedding fell on his birthday! I also love all of the ordering options on the customer portal and have ordered a few special keepsakes, my favorite being the bound book that you can completely customize in any layout and with any and all photos you like using a super easy tool. All around 15/10!!

For my wedding, Rob was the first vendor that I contacted once I got engaged because I knew that he would capture the day better than anyone. Not only does he produce THE.MOST. BEAUTIFUL, high-quality photos (he's an EXPERT at what he does), but he also has such a fun, relaxing vibe that makes everyone ENJOY every second of the experience. lationship Rob made himself totally available with his personal number for any concerns or questions or ideas we had. Rob was a comedy king, helping to create so many organic captured moments of laughter and joy (especially when I felt awkward at first in the morning) and Bela was the kindest soul. And just as importantly, our full album was divine. My husband and I are both a little awkward with photos and Rob and Bela made us look like breezy candid professionals. They worked seamlessly with our videographer. Rob and Bela were totally in tune with when to hype us up and give us shot ideas vs when to fade into the background when appropriate to capture the real images of us connecting with each other, family, and friends (of which we have tons). I'm currently designing our physical album, and just keep adding pages and pages because Rob and Bela captured so many candid and real "must prints" that capture the essence of what it felt like to be there on that day. Jaws drop when I tell people how quickly our full album got back to us. Have shed tears of gratitude that our fabulous coordinator connected us with Rob, Bela, and the Solo Mio team.

They captured everything and got our full photo album with a preview video back so quickly! I loved Rob and his wife's energy and felt their upbeat and natural energy from our phone planning appointments to the moment they walked into the bridal suites to capture us both getting ready. They gave us a mix of portrait style photos and candid pix all night long. I am still flooded with joy and awe every time I open up the album and love that I can order prints, albums, wall hanging artwork and more directly from their website. They were effortless to work with and it was such a relief to have full trust and confidence in this vendor to deliver high-quality wedding photography.

Day of the event, they were extremely punctual and were able to look around the venue to find the perfect spots for our pictures. They were extremely friendly and they had a great sense of humor, making it enjoyable to work with them. Whenever we had concerns or stress, they were able to guide us and offer us peace of mind. The end product is what amazed us the most. The eye they both have for the art is just incredible. Our pictures exceeded our expectations and we’ve heard multiple times that they belong on a magazine. Their editing skills were amazing as well and it added even more value to our pictures. We loved the fact nothing felt posed and they just captured us just being ourselves. This was a sigh of relief considering we definitely don’t consider ourselves models. day. I knew I wanted Rob to do our wedding the second I saw his pictures on Wedding Wire and The Knot (the other amazing reviews didn't hurt either). I could tell that he is a true artist and that he aims to capture REAL moments in a dynamic and stunning way, which is exactly what I wanted, and let me say...he HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK!! I am OBSESSED with the photos from our wedding. They are hands down the best photos of me and of my husband that I have ever seen. Rob was able to seamlessly and effortlessly capture the true magic of the day through his work and even my husband who hates having his picture taken was impressed by the way Rob was both instructive and easy going about directing him what to do so the pictures would turn out amazing. Rob had amazing ideas of his own, but also was super accommodating to the ideas that I had for the photos as well. Millie was so lovely in not only assisting Rob, but also helping me with things like my accessories and fixing my dress before walking down the aisle (unfortunately my family and maid of honor were not able to attend because of COVID), which was greatly appreciated. She is so cute and lovely!! That brings me to the fact that Rob was SUPER flexible even though I only booked him a couple weeks before the wedding. We had to cancel our original wedding in New York because of COVID, and we basically had to plan a new one in Miami in under a month. Rob was super helpful in figuring out the timeline for the day, calling, texting and replying to my questions SUPER fast, and helping me brainstorm ideas for the wedding day that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Because my family was not able to attend the wedding, it was super important to me that the photographs give a real sense of what the day was like for us. They literally could not have turned out better and Rob was able to get us the photographers in LESS THAN A WEEK. LIKE, WHAT??? He also let us keep the copyright to them and doesn't plaster his logo all over them like most other wedding photographers do. I appreciate that SO MUCH and I know a lot of other people do too. I will add that because of this, I am more motivated to always give him credit for the photos anywhere I share them and to recommend him to ANYONE AND EVERYONE! If you've made it this far in the review, I think you know what you need to do: BOOK SOLO MIO!! I can't accurately describe our happiness with his work but our hearts are so full from seeing our elopement captured in the way that he did it. He will be our lifetime photographer! You don't want to go with anyone else. -The Bride I will second my beautiful bride's review and I'll add to that--I am typically not the type to enjoy being in the spotlight or in front of the camera, usually photo's to me feel forced and I am generally uncomfortable--Rob not only made me feel comfortable but I actually had a lot of fun, something I never thought for myself. At times I forgot I was in front of a camera. He has a niche for capturing everything candid and is extremely professional. His portfolio speaks for itself--the way he works with natural lighting and the coloring he uses. Through our gallery I was able to relive the entire event. The turnaround time for our photos is unprecedented, I've never heard of anyone receiving professional photos in such a short matter of time. These pictures deserve a lot of publicity, they belong in an advertisement or a wedding magazine somewhere. My only regret was not booking him for a longer amount of time. --The Groom This shoot far surpassed any expectations we had--and judging by his portfolio and the few conversations we had, our standards were already set really high. We are both over the moon . HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

He makes it all seem natural and everyone at our wedding loved him. You see a lot of happiness and laughter in our pictures and he was responsible for a lot of the laughs. We married on Thursday and I had all the pictures on Sunday. Who else does that!!! The quality of the pictures is top notch - absolutely beautiful and the best photos I’ve ever had of myself. Yippee. He captured the intimacy and happiness as well as our real and natural personalities. I think my family would adopt him if given the option. Half our attendees were children and getting them to all look at the camera and smile at one time is like finding a leprechaun riding a unicorn and drinking from the holy grail. We have amazing group photos and all the kids are looking at the camera! A note to brides: I agonized over a photographer for our destination wedding. I wasn’t aware of the price of wedding photography and my stress level had skyrocketed after receiving quotes. Solo Mio was BY FAR the most reasonable we found and now having met Rob and having seen our pictures, I feel like we truly hit the jackpot.
