The texture, flavor diversity, and professionalism of this vendor is top notch. I adored working with Nicole. Both she and Hillary were excellent at correspondence and answering any questions I had about their different options. Their cake designers also deliver excellent quality. I had a minor snafu: I ordered a cake smaller than I thought I had. This was something I had overlooked since I was originally planning on including tarts and individual desserts from their menu. However, we caught this 5 days before the event and were able to add the extra amount of cake in. They were able to add another tier as well as throw in an extra round for slicing. Everyone displayed professionalism and patience and I am extremely happy about the turnout. I am so excited that included in our package is a one year anniversary cake. I can’t wait!

to attend. I wasn't all that impressed however I really cared more about what the cake look like than anything and I knew Some crust could deliver the beautiful cake I want it. I was really impressed at the wedding with not only the way the cake looked but how it taste. We had four layers and each layer had a different flavor. We had chocolate, strawberry, lemon and red velvet. I had a taste of all but the red velvet and they were all muy delicioso. I was very happy and all my guess complimented the cake, the way it looked and taste. The staff was really accommodating and easy to work with. From the first point of contact we had with them a year prior to the wedding up to the wedding day we were happy with their level of service. Thank you so much some crust bakery. Chara J.

sting. My only regret is that we were not able to taste two of the layers (too busy dancing). We also custom designed the look of the cake. Each layer had a different design/texture. We were worried that the cake would not come out how we envisioned it, but it was absolutely stunning! My groom’s cake was the best. I am a diehard Green Bay Packers fan, and I wanted my cake to reflect this. It came out great! The cake looked like a football field, with PACKERS spelled in the endzone, and an oversized football with the Packers logo on it in the center of the cake. With how great the cake looked, I would not have cared if it tasted like garbage, but it was delicious too! SomeCrust is FANTASTIC!

My favorite thing though, is that they offer you a free top tier one year anniversary cake, so you don't have to keep the original top tier in the freezer. I think it's really nice of them to offer that. They were also very professional every time I spoke to someone. They even called me a week before to make sure my order was correct. The decorator got almost every detail right, so I was mostly happy. The cake borders were a little thicker and not the right color that I asked for, but they delivered the cake on time with no problems. So I would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone!

o we decided on Pink Champagne, Truffle, White Cake w Strawberry filling and Red Velvet. Our guests raved about the cake! They were also very accommodating with the design. I brought in some photos I found on Pinterest of cakes I liked. I explained what I wanted to emulate from these examples, and what colors the cake should be in. I also brought our cake topper (which I made) to our cake tasting appointment. They agreed to hold onto it for me until the day of the wedding - what a huge weight off my mind! When I saw the cake, I was blown away. It was probably my favorite detail of the entire day. Thank you so much, Some Crust! (Also, a nice touch they offer is the "anniversary cake!" It eliminates the need to "freeze the top layer." They will make you a small anniversary cake for your 1st anniversary of any of your wedding cake flavors. Love that special touch!)

r wedding flavors are amazing, it was hard to decide which flavors we wanted but in the end our 4-tier cake was beautiful and delicious. Days before our wedding we even dropped off our cake topper and it came out looking great on our big day. Thank you Some Crust for baking us your amazing cake

wedding cake flavors. But we wanted something more unique, so we placed a special order (at not additional charge) for several non-traditional flavors. We decided upon almond. It was delicious. I had given them swatches of our wedding colors and they matched them well. Each tier had a different texture and color. They delivered it to the venue on time. The only thing I would change is the ability to reach the wedding coordinators by phone. I teach in a classroom from 7am-4pm after which they had gone home for the day.

e strange to me.. maybe it was just me. It just didn't look like she liked being there. I don't except you to jump up and down to see me, but a little "quality customer service" would be nice. But NBD, it's still a job after all. The cake we ordered was chocolate with chocolate frosting/filling, and chocolate with raspberry filling. The chocolate cake seemed the moistest of all the other cake flavors. Day of wedding: They provided an excellent, beautiful cake! Looked exactly as the photo that I gave them. The cake was absolutely delish. I was so busy during the reception, that the only taste I got was the cake cutting with my husband. After that, everyone really dug the cake, and whatever was left over was put in little to-go boxes provided by Some Crust Bakery. Everyone took it ALL home. I'm kinda sad I missed out. Plus: On our one year anniversary, we get a small cake from SCB as a gift to celebrate. I'm already counting down the days! (As if I couldn't just go in and just get a cake.. seriously, what is wrong with me? I just love cake.) Great, quality service, timely delivery, DELISH cakes. Get a cake from here. Also, I've been a fan of SCB since I live nearby. I've always loved their Almond Croissants. This place is the best ever, not only for cakes and cupcakes, but for pastries, too.

Not only did our guests give such high reviews for the cake we chose but we loved it so much! Also no more saving the top layer of cake to eat on your first anniversary. They send you a small fresh cake for you come anniversary time. This bakery was excellent!

ad trouble communicating amongst its staff, so it took way too many questions, emails, phone calls and meetings, including during the week of the wedding, to finalize details we discussed at our initial cake tasting. They need to work on their management process of designing cakes. I wouldn't recommend getting a cake from them because, while delicious, it was too much work at such a busy time.

e wanted to try. I am a baker and cake decorator so I knew I was going to be picky. I was so impressed with their work and the cake flavors. They were so delicious!!! Some of the best cake I have ever tasted that's for sure. We ate through the samples and chose 3 different flavors, chocolate rum cake with caramel filling, pink champagne cake with white chocolate mousse filling and pistachio cake with a dark chocolate and black cherry filling. We chose the design and set the date and were on our way. A little while later, I wanted to order a grooms cake shaped like a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs (as a surprise for my husband)and to change the design of our cake. I corresponded via email with the lead decorator and she was totally helpful. She worked with me to make my vision come to life and even on her days off (I was notified when I emailed her that she would be out of office) she still managed to respond to me! She would say that she was away but she was checking her email and would often forward me things from the bakers to make sure we were all on the same page. The day of I was so excited to see our cake and I was so impressed. The wedding cake was simply stunning and the grooms cake was a hit! Everyone loved the cakes and there wasn't a bit left, which was kind of a bummer because we wanted more but the goal was for our guests to be happy and they were! I can't wait 'til my birthday in February because you know I'll be ordering a cake from there haha! If you want an amazing cake that includes service from an amazing staff, this is your place.

sickly sweet. The design was exactly what we requested, a delicate flower design in blue and yellow. The consultant at the tasting was fun, helpful, and very generous with the extra cake. Working with them was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning.

busy store front to a private tasting room. They had huge pieces of cake to try and the cake was amazing. We decided to book them right then and put in our order. The day of the wedding our cake arrived on time and looked great. It was exactly what we had asked for. We can't wait to have our complimentary anniversary cake next year. The only issue we had with Some Crust was with a groom's cake that I had tried to order. After discussing through email for several weeks and working out details for a surprise cake for the groom I was ready to pay for the cake. When there was an addition to the price for the cake somebody from the bakery called the groom to tell him the price went up, ruining the surprise. They were very apologetic and sent us out a box of delicious cookies, but we were still saddened that the surprise was ruined.

er gobbling up every last bite of that pink champagne cake, I couldn't wait to have more on our wedding day! The cake was set up and delivered without any issues and it tasted just as scrumptious as it did at the tasting! Our guests were having seconds and thirds!

imple, partly my fault, since I asked for a cake that was not too extravagant. The buttercream was not as white as I thought it would be, it was more like a soft beige color and it didn't look right with the soft yellow ribbon I chose for the cake. I would suggest to do your research on the type of cake design you want before going in for cake tasting/consultation.

exactly how I wanted my cake decorated. We explained the whole even to them (outdoor summer wedding) & they made sure to plan accordingly. The day of we had no problems! Everything was great & everyone just loved the cake! I'd definitely recommend
