The first thing I saw the day of the wedding was the cake on the desk of the event planner. It was SO awesome and beautiful- I took some photos immediately. I adored the cake and, while I didn't get to have any of the cupcakes, the cake itself was delicious and moist. We took some home with us so we could have more and my husband ended up having at least one more slice while I was off dancing as well the night of. The bakery was very accommodating and easy to work with. They replied quickly and brought our vision to life. I was recommend them to anyone looking for a special occasion cake and to just stop by to buy some cupcakes or some other baked good. We've been numerous times just to get a cup of hot tea and cupcakes. Its a wonderful place to just while away an hour or two.

aving a cake that is too sweet, this place is perfect. Their flavors are elegant and not over bearing or bland. We had three flavors for three tiers: lemon, banana, and strawberry pink champagne! They were perfect for a morning wedding and everyone loved it! They were even so generous as to add a small vegan cake separately for my MOH and her mom for no extra charge. Their vegan cake is delicious too. Customer service is very nice (their wedding cake section is separate from their bakery so it is quieter). Nothing went wrong with their service from tasting to serving our guests. Be prepared to eat a lot of cake during your cake tasting!!

The cake was delicious, moist, and uniquely flavored. Some Crust was also awesome because they provided great advice in addition to a tasty cake. They suggested we save money by providing most of our cake via a sheet cake rather than as part of our round, decorative cake. This saved us a bit on the cost of the cake as our guests couldn't tell the difference when it came time to serve. Some Crust has been a favorite with my family for years. They will continue to be one with my new family in the years to come.

They were polite, professional, and very responsive to all our questions. Although Some Crust rescheduled our initial consultation due to an emergency with one of their wedding consultants, they asked if we wanted pick up the cake samples that we had selected since they were already done. We picked up the cake samples and they provided notes which explained the different frosting, bread, and filling types. We ate them on the spot and knew what we wanted for our cake. During our rescheduled consultation, they had the additional samples we had requested based on our prior tasting and explained what was included in regards to number of tiers, design, and flavors. We were extremely pleased with the cake. It was not only beautiful, but delicious. We received so many compliments from all our guests. My husband and I highly recommend Some Crust Bakery for all your cake and pastry needs. Their staff is very professional and helpful, and their cakes are mouthwatering. We’re looking forward to our anniversary cake from them.

cake looked better than the sample picture I sent them and my guests kept telling me how moist and delicious our cake was. Would definitely recommend. I actually recommended them to my sister who's getting early next year and she has an appointment to meet with them next month. :)

o the rescue. They were prepared at our cake tasting with multiple options, all of which were delicious. While the vegan frosting limits some of the decorating options (no fault of Some Crust), they worked with us to find great options that matched what we wanted from our ideas (and Pinterest, of course). We love that they have the option for a 1-year anniversary cake, so you don't have to freeze the top layer yourselves. Hillary told us "no one wants to eat frozen year-old cake" and let us know that 2 weeks before our anniversary, we can call in to have a mini cake, in our same flavours, made - and the cost is included in the wedding cake, so no charge at this one year mark. Our cake looked beautiful and tasted so good. Many people commented that the fresh raspberries in the filling were so decadent and made this cake stand out from the typical wedding cake. It was delicious and I don't think any guests realized it was vegan. We'd highly recommend Some Crust bakery!

WILL eat cake from this vendor again. Our 3 flavors: black & white with chocolate ganache and raspberry filling; miss divine which was pink champagne and strawberry mousse; and raspberry cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry filling. The texture, flavor diversity, and professionalism of this vendor is top notch. I adored working with Nicole. Both she and Hillary were excellent at correspondence and answering any questions I had about their different options. Their cake designers also deliver excellent quality. I had a minor snafu: I ordered a cake smaller than I thought I had. This was something I had overlooked since I was originally planning on including tarts and individual desserts from their menu. However, we caught this 5 days before the event and were able to add the extra amount of cake in. They were able to add another tier as well as throw in an extra round for slicing. Everyone displayed professionalism and patience and I am extremely happy about the turnout. I am so excited that included in our package is a one year anniversary cake. I can’t wait!

I wasn't all that impressed however I really cared more about what the cake look like than anything and I knew Some crust could deliver the beautiful cake I want it. I was really impressed at the wedding with not only the way the cake looked but how it taste. We had four layers and each layer had a different flavor. We had chocolate, strawberry, lemon and red velvet. I had a taste of all but the red velvet and they were all muy delicioso. I was very happy and all my guess complimented the cake, the way it looked and taste. The staff was really accommodating and easy to work with. From the first point of contact we had with them a year prior to the wedding up to the wedding day we were happy with their level of service. Thank you so much some crust bakery. Chara J.

our layers, each one was a different combination of cake and frosting. My only regret is that we were not able to taste two of the layers (too busy dancing). We also custom designed the look of the cake. Each layer had a different design/texture. We were worried that the cake would not come out how we envisioned it, but it was absolutely stunning! My groom’s cake was the best. I am a diehard Green Bay Packers fan, and I wanted my cake to reflect this. It came out great! The cake looked like a football field, with PACKERS spelled in the endzone, and an oversized football with the Packers logo on it in the center of the cake. With how great the cake looked, I would not have cared if it tasted like garbage, but it was delicious too! SomeCrust is FANTASTIC!

My favorite thing though, is that they offer you a free top tier one year anniversary cake, so you don't have to keep the original top tier in the freezer. I think it's really nice of them to offer that. They were also very professional every time I spoke to someone. They even called me a week before to make sure my order was correct. The decorator got almost every detail right, so I was mostly happy. The cake borders were a little thicker and not the right color that I asked for, but they delivered the cake on time with no problems. So I would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone!

s - good luck choosing your flavors! Ours was a 4 tier cake so we decided on Pink Champagne, Truffle, White Cake w Strawberry filling and Red Velvet. Our guests raved about the cake! They were also very accommodating with the design. I brought in some photos I found on Pinterest of cakes I liked. I explained what I wanted to emulate from these examples, and what colors the cake should be in. I also brought our cake topper (which I made) to our cake tasting appointment. They agreed to hold onto it for me until the day of the wedding - what a huge weight off my mind! When I saw the cake, I was blown away. It was probably my favorite detail of the entire day. Thank you so much, Some Crust! (Also, a nice touch they offer is the "anniversary cake!" It eliminates the need to "freeze the top layer." They will make you a small anniversary cake for your 1st anniversary of any of your wedding cake flavors. Love that special touch!)

But we wanted something more unique, so we placed a special order (at not additional charge) for several non-traditional flavors. We decided upon almond. It was delicious. I had given them swatches of our wedding colors and they matched them well. Each tier had a different texture and color. They delivered it to the venue on time. The only thing I would change is the ability to reach the wedding coordinators by phone. I teach in a classroom from 7am-4pm after which they had gone home for the day.

nt really well, but the cake-tasting consultant was just a little strange to me.. maybe it was just me. It just didn't look like she liked being there. I don't except you to jump up and down to see me, but a little "quality customer service" would be nice. But NBD, it's still a job after all. The cake we ordered was chocolate with chocolate frosting/filling, and chocolate with raspberry filling. The chocolate cake seemed the moistest of all the other cake flavors. Day of wedding: They provided an excellent, beautiful cake! Looked exactly as the photo that I gave them. The cake was absolutely delish. I was so busy during the reception, that the only taste I got was the cake cutting with my husband. After that, everyone really dug the cake, and whatever was left over was put in little to-go boxes provided by Some Crust Bakery. Everyone took it ALL home. I'm kinda sad I missed out. Plus: On our one year anniversary, we get a small cake from SCB as a gift to celebrate. I'm already counting down the days! (As if I couldn't just go in and just get a cake.. seriously, what is wrong with me? I just love cake.) Great, quality service, timely delivery, DELISH cakes. Get a cake from here. Also, I've been a fan of SCB since I live nearby. I've always loved their Almond Croissants. This place is the best ever, not only for cakes and cupcakes, but for pastries, too.

Not only did our guests give such high reviews for the cake we chose but we loved it so much! Also no more saving the top layer of cake to eat on your first anniversary. g, the cake is delicious, and it was beautiful, but the bakery had trouble communicating amongst its staff, so it took way too many questions, emails, phone calls and meetings, including during the week of the wedding, to finalize details we discussed at our initial cake tasting. They need to work on their management process of designing cakes. I wouldn't recommend getting a cake from them because, while delicious, it was too much work at such a busy time.
