Carly at Someplace Images was the first person I booked for my wedding. We were not going to book at the early date we did, but we were feeling eh waters and met up with her to see...
what she was all about. From the first instant I met her though that changed. I knew I wanted her as my photographer because of so many reasons! 1st is her photography is some pretty bomb stuff. If you’ve ever seen her photographs, you’ll fall in love with her mastery of light. 2nd her bubbly personality is literally the best! She makes you feel loved, comfortable, and supported. She is truest a wonderful person. 3rd- that wonderful personality spills into every part of her life. And everything she touches turns brighter or kinder. She brings out the best in you. Definitely a person who made my wedding the absolute BEST it could be! She also has so many suggestions when it comes to venders and is extremely helpful on every front! 10/10 for me :)
Carly is amazing, both as a person and as a photographer. We met up with Carly weeks before the wedding to get to know her and it was like we had been friends forever. Not only did...
she emphasize that our day was about what we wanted, but she listened intently to all of our wishes, concerns, quirks, and was confident and reassuring. When the big day came, she caught moments that I will cherish forever. She arrived early and immediately sat on the floor next to me, chatting excitedly and offering to help with the last minute decorations I was finishing. Pre-ceremony photography time was spent laughing while Carly somehow brought out the best of everyone. She captured all of the emotion, love, and joy that happened that day, and her photos reflect it. The photos she took are amazing, as is Carly. Someplace Images was, by far, the best investment we made when it came to our wedding.
I only wish we could give her more than 5 stars. I was immediately drawn to Carly's pictures because she was clearly able to really capture each couple and their personality. From ...
the first email Carly was so much fun to work with. She spent time really getting to know my husband and I, and making sure she knew what we wanted for the big day. When the day finally came she was so much more than we ever could have hoped for. I arrived late and frazzled, but Carly immediately calmed me down and had me relaxed and ready to enjoy our day. It felt as though she had known us for years, she was so much fun to shoot with. At times we were all laughing, and others she had us in happy tears and she was able to capture it all. The emotions you see in her pictures are so incredibly genuine. So many of my guests and bridal commented on how amazing she was. We feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to work with Carly. If you want an incredible photographer (and person) and amazing pictures, Someplace Images is the way to go.
