Music is such an important part of both the ceremony & reception, so choosing a DJ/MC was a challenge. We were so pleased with Ron! He made the planning process easy and incorporated our wishes and ideas throughout our meetings and all communications up to the wedding day. Seamless transitions during our ceremony & a consistently fun dance party during the reception. Would for sure recommend.

Okay so I'm a little biased in starting this review, because Marc, our DJ - was the DJ for my 3 older sisters' weddings. So it was truly my only option when it came time for me to get married. There was no one else we wanted to be part of our big day. When I first reached out to Tamara, she made everything so easy and shared my excitement and enthusiasm throughout the entire process. She provided me with different options and we would talk through various approaches to ensure everything was perfect. Her follow up was timely, personal and engaging. I was super thankful for her partnership. Our planning meeting with Marc was so much fun. We went through our entire wedding top to bottom to ensure he had everything he needed to be successful the day of. I also had a brief moment of panic because I decided not to hire a day of coordinator so I called Marc to talk everything through and he reassured me that he was going to make sure everything ran smoothly, and boy did it. Our wedding was truly effortless and a big part of that was because of Marc. He was so much fun, so organized, and really kept us on schedule. Starting with our ceremony, everything was perfect - the music was so fun for cocktail hour and the reception was unbelievable. He played all of the music we wanted and then some. He did a great job of reading the room and getting folks on the dance floor and then keeping them there. He emceed everything to perfection and I could not recommend Something 2 Dance 2 more. They were fantastic to work with from beginning to end. Definitely consider them when planning your wedding! If you want an extra fun time, request Marc to be your DJ ;)

Absolute best decision of the whole wedding day was picking Ron as our DJ! He not only played the best music that captured both of us perfectly, but helped us organize and plan out our whole day. When we met in the office we talked through the night from ceremony, cocktail hour to reception and I felt so at ease that we had a plan. It was super easy to add songs to the list that we wanted to play and also note what special dances we wanted like the cha cha slide. He is such a great guy and made our wedding so memorable. I had so many people come up to us throughout the night saying he was playing the best music. I 100% would recommend Ron to anyone getting married!

Ron absolutely killed it and we very much enjoyed working with him. As many other reviewers have pointed out it was like having an extra wedding coordinator on our team and when you're throwing a big event like ours you need all the help you can get! Ron made it so easy from the beginning and really took an active role in making sure everything went smoothly. Many people told us after the wedding that it was one of if not the very best that they'd been to, that we didn't miss any detail, and Ron is largely to thank for that. As to his talents as a DJ and emcee, the music was absolutely great and the dance floor was hot the whole night. There's an online portal where we could select songs we wanted played or not played, and I'm pretty sure he hit them all, plus some extras that really flowed with the vibe. There was one song in particular that Ron picked out on the fly and he made reference to something the maid of honor had said during her toast, which I thought was a nice touch. As my wife said, we barely had time to sit down or to meet/greet our guests because we couldn't get off the dance floor as every song was a "banger!" (and that says a lot since I consider myself a pretty bad/reluctant dancer). I noticed a couple times during the dancing that Ron was getting really into the music as well and seemed to be having as great a time as we were, not just some guy up there to push buttons and collect a check. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I wish we could do it all again! I would absolutely recommend Ron Fiedler to DJ your wedding or other event and am doing so to some of our cousins who have weddings coming up soon.

Ron Fielder with Something2Dance2 was our DJ and MC for our wedding at Hoosier Grove Barn on 8/6/22. Ron was the best! We had been to a previous wedding that he had DJ’ed, and really liked how he kept the guests on the dance floor and faded out songs that people weren’t feeling. Ron did the same great job at our wedding. The best part about having Ron as our MC was the work he did before the wedding to make sure our night ran smoothly. He sat down with me and husband and went over every detail of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It felt like we were talking to a wedding planner, but at that point in the wedding planning process it really helped ease the burden of the day. Ron used all of that information to make our wedding run so smooth and I had multiple guests compliment his skills. We 110% recommend Ron Fielder and are so so happy that we got to celebrate our wedding with him!

I am SO glad we chose Something 2 Dance 2 as our DJ!!! I am typically very picky about DJs because I like when they structure the event, but not when they are overbearing. There is a delicate balance for me, and I thought it might be hard to find that balance since I've seen some pretty horrible DJs in the past... However, Ron is THE BEST!!! Truly. He is so helpful in building a timeline for your wedding (something I was stressing about!) and he gives really good tips and recommendations that help the day run so smoothly. His guidance helped me get through the most stressful parts of wedding planning. He is also so pleasant to work with. I really liked him as a person! On the day of our wedding, the dance floor was PACKED and there was never a lull all night! I received so many compliments about how awesome the DJ was and how people have never seen a dance floor so packed. He just did an awesome job and I cannot say enough good things about Ron!! From the moment the dance floor opened until the end of the night, guests were dancing and having a blast! The music was perfect and our DJ, Marc Simmons, was so easy and fun to work with. Everything went smoothly from start to finish.

People danced all night long! The groom was air guitar sliding across the floor and people were singing along! It went so smoothly the entire day and Marc Simmons was incredible! Highly recommend!

Ron was great to work with! We selected Something2Dance2 as a proffered vendor from our venue and we were so happy with our choice. Our prep call with him made me feel like the day way going to run smooth abuse his thorough questions made me know we’d have an extra set of eyes looking out for us that day. He was great great in incorporating the songs we wanted to hear while keeping the night moving!

Ron was amazing. He was extremely professional and bent over backwards to make our special day even more amazing. His music was on point and fit the multiple age groups and generations. At one point everyone was dance and it was due to his amazing skill at feeling the room!

After many date changes due to Covid, we were finally able to experience how wonderful this company truly is. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish (including dealing with all of our date changes). They made the process so easy. Ron, our DJ, was wonderful. Our guests complimented him all night long. He was so kind and personable to work with. We had a BLAST!

We couldn’t have been more thankful for Something 2 Dance 2!! We had to reschedule our wedding three times due to Covid and they were incredibly accommodating the entire process. Ron, the DJ, made sure that we had everything organized with each change which made everything so easy! Him and Tamra were so kind and helpful throughout our two year wait to enjoy our big day. Ron threw us the best party we could have ever asked for! Our guests are still talking about how fun the Dj was and how great the music was the entire night. We had Ron as our DJ for our wedding in October and had an amazing experience with him and working with Something2Dance2!! They made both the planning process and reception fun and easy! Throughout the planning process, Tamara was easy and quick to communicate with to answer all of my questions and was able to get access to the songs we wanted for our day. Ron helped us tailor the day to how we were envisioning it and used his experience to provide us with helpful feedback to make decisions. Ron was crucial in helping the day run smoothly as he became our point person and checked up on the small details so that I did not have to worry about them. During our planning, Ron spent a great deal of time with us to understand what we wanted for the music, as well as the other details we had going into the day so that he could ensure they were set up as we wanted. As the bride, it was comforting to know that he would be a second set of eyes checking my list so that I did not have to and could better enjoy the day. The music was perfect for the ceremony and reception and our guests seemed to have a blast and I know that my husband and I did! People were on the dance floor all night, including people we did not expect to dance which speaks to the environment Ron helped create! I felt that Something2Dance2/Ron went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect and genuinely care that the day goes well and experience is positive!

We wanted our wedding to be a dance party, and DJ Ron gave us exactly that. He precisely knew how to transition the music through the night from music for the older crowed earlier on into more modern genres later in the night. Most of all, we believe we got such a great bang for our buck as DJ Ron was more than just a DJ; he essentially became our reception coordinator. He drafted an entire timeline for the evening and coordinated with all our vendors to ensure everyone was aligned. Without his attention to detail and incredible commitment, our day would not have gone so smoothly. We owe it to him for making our day so seamless!

Ron was our DJ/MC for our Nov 6 wedding and I had so many people compliment his communication and ability to read the crowd! Ron was so helpful for the entire process between working on the schedule and song choices, and was always so responsive to emails and calls. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with for such an important portion of our wedding and the services provided were worth every penny!

Something 2 Dance 2 was the DJ we selected for our wedding back on 10/30/2021. Daniel and I were referred to S2D2 from family friends. I just have to say our DJ was Ron, and he was AMAZING. He kept our guest moving and dancing all night. I don't think th Dance floor was empty for a single minute. Ron made our magical night perfect and I can't thank them enough for making our night even more magical. I LOVED that a month before the wedding we did a face to face meeting with Ron. It was a great way to get to know him and for him to get to know us and get a feel for what we were looking for. I highly recommend them, Tamara (manager/company co-owner) was great to work with to get us prepared for the wedding. Once she told us Ron was going to be our DJ he reached out to us to see if we had questions and if we needed help to ley him know. Everyone I worked with at S2D2 was VERY professional and friendly to speak with and work with.

We could not imagine having a different DJ at our wedding. Something 2 Dance 2 was incredible from the very beginning. Tamara made the planning process so simple and easy. We had a great experience with Something 2 Dance 2 from booking to the follow up after the wedding. Our DJ, Ron, was amazing at not just nailing our taste but keeping a pulse on the day as a whole. We cannot say enough good things about S2D2. We originally met with Tamara in January 2020, for a fall date. When we had to reschedule that date to fall 2021, she didn't miss a beat. Ron was our DJ, and he was incredible. He spent over an hour meeting with us in person to go over every last detail. Everything he did was thoughtful. The week of the wedding he reached out to my family, and left me the loveliest voicemail. The week leading up to your wedding can be so stressful, and Ron's voice of calm and positivity was just what we needed. He was familiar with our venue, and knew all of the little in's and out's. We couldn't have been happier.

I cannot recommend them enough. Ron was amazing. He made sure everything went smoothly! He contacted us a couple of times and even went over the details in person. Ron even took notes about the small details of the wedding to make sure everything would go according to plan. Tamara and Ron went above and beyond for us. DJ Ron announces everything to ensure that our guests won’t miss anything. He even added a couple of songs for our money dance because we ran out of songs. The whole process was easy. For example, we didn't have a wedding planner, but he certainly filled that gap. :-) One of the things I was most impressed by is how well Ron incorporated everything we asked for into the night. For our introduction song (let my love open the door), I had asked for him to find a good spot in the song where we could walk out to a specific lyric and he timed it PERFECTLY. We cannot recommend S2D2 highly enough! From our first interaction with the company’s owner (Tamara) to our wedding day with DJ Ron, everything was smooth, organized, and fun! S2D2 truly made the music planning process (something we were initially very daunted by) so easy! Tamara immediately put us at ease during our first phone interview, and she was always extremely fast responding to questions/emails! DJ Ron was also a PERFECT match for us! We met with him for a full planning meeting ~1 month before the wedding and left feeling so confident that the music on wedding day was going to be exactly what we were hoping for. Not only did Ron not disappoint, but he helped us to think of small details for the reception that had not even occurred to us! He walked us through the entire itinerary step by step and even provided us with a written copy to tweak as needed leading up to wedding day. He even called us a day or two before just to check in to see if we needed anything! It was clear to us that he is an absolute PRO at what he does! When we arrived at our reception, Ron was the first person there to greet us and he immediately stepped into action making sure that everything went according to plan. In retrospect, we probably put him in a pretty tough position because we were running behind due to some extra photos that we wanted to take at the ceremony location. We were at least 30-45 minutes behind our itinerary, but Ron didn’t flinch! He remained so calm and poised and professional and made sure that all of the “photo moments” were captured before our photo/video crew had to leave. He did so without making anything feel rushed or pressured, which we absolutely commend him for! We’ve been married for a month or so now and we’ve received so many compliments from our family and friends! Everyone had an absolute blast—Ron knew exactly how to read the crowd and was great at taking requests too! The dance floor was FULL the entire night thanks to him! We are so grateful that he worked so hard to turn our wedding day vision into a PARTY! We highly recommend S2D2! You won’t be disappointed!

Something 2 Dance 2 was amazing! They came highly recommended from the coordinator at our venue and it was obvious why. The owner, Tamara was extremely responsive and helpful- and our DJ, Ron made our day and everything leading up to it go extremely smooth. This company treats you like family. They genuinely want your day to be wonderful. We booked them for our wedding in 2020...needless to say, 2020 did not happen the way we hoped. They were flexible and helped us schedule for the following year. They kept in touch and helped make our new date as special as ever. I cannot say enough good things about Ron and Tamara and the entire group at Something 2 Dance 2. I was the 3rd girl in my family to get married and my parents made a point to say how great and together this company is. First and foremost, the music was FIRE!! There was not a single moment of the evening when the dance floor wasn't full. Ron knew exactly how to read the room, transition from one song to the next, when to slow it down, when to pick it up, when to throw in a specialty dance.. He was funny, confident, on-que and definitely a PROFESSIONAL! It was beyond PERFECT! Next, he worked so so well with us leading up to the wedding. He made a point to call each of our parents before the wedding to let them know that everything was in good hands with him and walk them through the evening. That's the personal touch/extra step you get with this company. We booked Something 2 Dance 2 after having the time of our lives at my best friend's wedding. She gave us Tamara's contact info who then matched us with Run.. and her match was SPOT ON! From the first moment we met Ron, my husband and I just KNEW we made the best choice. Ron paid very close attention to detail with what we wanted, was careful to announce everyone's names correctly, had amazing suggestions and FUN games to add if we wanted. I am sure Ron had a million other things going on, but he and Tamara made us and our wedding feel so special and important. I cannot recommend them enough. They were personal, attentive, FUN, unique and an all around fantastic MC and DJ for the night.. My husband, my dad, my mom and I all really think he MADE the evening.

Tamara and Ron helped make our wedding day a dream come true! They were wonderful to communicate with all the way up to our wedding day. Saw this DJ at a friend's wedding a while ago and never forgot about them! I knew right away I needed to hire them when it came time for my daughter's wedding. Ron surpassed my expectations-- he chose the perfect mix of music and everyone had a blast. All of the guests complimented the DJ. He was professional and fun! When I got engaged, I asked my parents how to look for a DJ because I knew how important the DJ was at a wedding. They remembered Something 2 Dance 2 from 10 YEARS AGO at another wedding they went to because they were so amazing, so I immediately called. From day 1, working with this vendor has been so easy. Tamara is the sweetest person I have ever met. She helped organize everything and set it all up. Then, when COVID-19 happened, she continued to work with me and was extremely patient as we changed venues and plans. We ended up changing the state we were getting married in and they still accommodated us. Ron was our DJ and he played every song we requested and was so much fun to work with. He also went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly-- if myself or the Groom did not get any appetizers because we were taking pictures, he made sure to tell the waiter to put some aside for us so we could enjoy them during dinner. The people who work here truly care and want your wedding day to be perfect. I can't thank them enough for all they did for us. If you are looking for a perfect wedding, this is the DJ for you!

We knew Something 2 Dance 2 was the right choice for our wedding because of the amazing work they did for my sister's wedding several years ago. They did not disappoint! Tamara worked with us at first to figure out what we liked and they were able to find instrumental music of Phantom of the Opera for our cocktail hour! Ron was the DJ for our reception and he did a fantastic job! We had a meeting with him and he went over every single thing for our wedding to make sure it would meet all of our expectations and run as smoothly as possible! We had such a blast at our reception, Ron played just about every song on our playlist and my husband and I lived on the dance floor that night. We are so thankful for the work everyone at Something 2 Dance 2 did for us and highly recommend them for your wedding!

We are so glad we hired Something 2 Dance 2 for as our wedding DJ! We enjoyed working with Tamara in the early stages of planning - her excitement just made us excited to start planning the music for the wedding. Ron, our DJ, was incredible to work with. We were hesitant to go with a big DJ company for our wedding music but we ultimately ended up choosing Something 2 Dance 2 because they were on our venue's preferred vendor list and had tons of positive reviews, and we are so happy we did! We had DJ Marc do our wedding (both ceremony & reception) and he did an incredible job. He seriously kept everyone on the dance floor- including myself, the bride- the entire night. EVERY SINGLE SONG was spot on and it made for a very fun wedding. He was also so easy to work with prior to our wedding (and understanding when we put all of our "assignments" off until the last minute). He made us feel confident that he would be coordinating with the rest of our vendors so that we would not have to worry about a thing on our big day, and he delivered. Thanks DJ Marc!

Having Ron from Something 2 Dance 2 as our wedding DJ was easily one of the best decisions we made. We got to meet him a few months before our big day and he was wonderful with going over all the logistics. Very professional, friendly and great at reading the room throughout the reception – made it such a great night.

Such a great company! Tamara is such a sweetheart and we knew from our first meeting with her that we wanted to use Something 2 Dance 2 for our music. They really take so much time to make sure everything is perfect and it was! Mark Mallett was our DJ and he was beyond amazing. He was so quick to respond to all of my emails, even up to the night before the wedding, and was so accommodating. He took requests from our guests and we got SO many compliments on our music! Our guests didn't stop dancing all night which is exactly what we wanted :) Definitely recommend!!

My husband and I got married on October 4th, and DJ Marc was our DJ! we could not have asked for a better person to make our day special. These DJs are awesome! From day 1 working with Tamara to meeting with our DJ Marc, through the wedding, it was a fantastic experience. We didn’t have to deal with any music we didn’t want, and Marc was very accommodating of our music requests and preferences. I highly recommend them!

Something 2 Dance 2 was recommended by a friend and after I saw the reviews we decided to use the company for our September 2019 wedding. Ron was our DJ and he did an amazing job!! I had been worried since we wanted to have an inclusive mix of songs that would appeal to all ages and include some Spanish music for my family. Ron was on point all night! Everyone danced the night away!

Something 2 Dance 2 provided the absolute best experience for Bryan and I as well as for our guests. My sister and Aunt used Something 2 Dance 2 for their weddings, and both highly recommended DJ Mark. Mark was attentive, organized and most of all a blast to work with. DJ Mark and Co. even helped set up and organize a surprise performance from my brother for my Father/Daughter Dance. It was beyond special. Ron is literally a wedding super hero. He was such a pleasure to work with and went way above and beyond what I would ever expect from a DJ! As we were planning our wedding, I had kind of come to terms with the fact that my family wouldn't dance at the reception. Boy, was I wrong! There were people on the dance floor who NEVER dance at weddings! And the floor was packed all night! Ron perfectly timed when to play each genre and was very accommodating to all our ideas and wishes (and I know I had a lengthy wish list!). You could always tell that he truly wanted you to relax and enjoy your day, and that is exactly what happened. What a professional! We are extremely happy with our decision to make Something 2 Dance 2 part of our wedding day!

We had Ron F for our wedding in June and he was AMAZING! He made the planning process so fun and easy. We were able bounce ideas off him, and email him with questions anytime and he was always very responsive. He even called our parents the week before to check in on them and run through things with them. We would highly recommend Ron F!

Ron was our DJ and he was absolutely amazing! He played the best music all night long and the dance floor was never empty. So many of my guests approached me after our wedding to comment on how amazing the DJ was! Thank you Ron and Something 2 Dance 2 for being apart of our wedding day!

Something 2 Dance 2 is a great company! They are easy to work with and are so friendly. They have an online site to privately sign in to and update songs, people (for announcements), and other music needs for your special day. We had DJ Ron and he was AMAZING! So fun, and personal. He did so well with our requests, keeping our guests on the dance floor, and keeping in touch with us to make sure everything was perfect. He even played a surprise Pear Jam song for my husband and I, knowing that we got engaged the weekend of a Pearl Jam concert in Chicago. Something2Dance2 was incredibly easy to work with. The initial meeting was so informative and the online system was so helpful the entire time. Ron was an absolutely amazing DJ who made our experience so much better. He was so friendly during our meeting with him and answered any questions we had. He even helped us plan a special surprise for my mom! He played the perfect music and kept up with what I wanted, as well as my guests. He even called my parents and my in-laws the week of the wedding to check in with them and see if they had any requests. It was such a great touch, that was so unnecessary, but really made our parents feel like they were a part of the process. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ and I am so happy we had Ron at our special day (June 8th, 2019).

Something 2 Dance 2 is the best DJ company in the area! We met with them on a recommendation from someone who experienced them at another wedding, and from the very first meeting with Tamara, we were convinced. They worked with us on how they would set up at the venue, let us know exactly what extra equipment would be needed (as they had tons of experience at our venue), and were just overall one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding. DJ Ron was a blast, kept the dance floor packed all night long, and took care of everything so we didn't have to worry on our big day. This company doesn't keep winning awards for no reason. They earn them, and they should be on your list of vendors to meet with for your wedding!

From start to finish, working with Something 2 Dance 2 was a great experience! Our initial meeting with Tamara and our meeting with Marc prior to our big day were quite honestly one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. Throughout the whole process, we felt we were in good hands, and that this was one aspect of planning we didn’t have to stress about. They went above and beyond to stay in contact with us, to provide us with their expert input/suggestions, and really made picking out the soundtrack to our wedding day a wonderful time. I also want to mention how dedicated this company is to making sure your vision comes together. I chose a song for my father daughter dance that was not easy to find, and again they far exceeded expectations to make sure that I was happy with the results. That took the extra “something” that is so special and unique to this company. At the wedding, Marc was fantastic! I can’t tell you enough how great it feels to have your guests walking up to you and complimenting not only the music playing but how professional and approachable Marc was to everyone. We were so grateful for his help in making sure things went smoothly, and that we knew ahead of time our plan and timeline. He even went out of his way to check on me and my husband when we were taking photos to see if we needed anything. Talk about professionalism at its finest! We highly recommend Something 2 Dance 2 and Ron Fiedler! From our initial meeting with Tamara, we always felt comfortable that we were in good hands with S2D2. She was friendly, engaging, and kindly answered the very few questions we had remaining after she first let us know of the roles and responsibilities of our DJ both leading up to and on the day of our wedding. We had the same experience with our assigned DJ, Ron Fiedler. My then fiance and I left our first meeting with Ron thinking of him as a friend and someone who we could count on to make our wedding day go as smoothly as possible. We were absolutely right. Ron was fantastic in every way. It's true that the DJ is the quarterback of the wedding, and Ron is Tom Brady! He put together a schedule (which kept us on track all night), gave us friendly advice for things we were stuck on, and overall just helped take a load off our shoulders during a very stressful time. As far as day-of went, every one of our guests had a blast and the dance floor was jumping throughout the night, which when it comes down to it is a HUGE part of what makes a wedding successful. I can't think of one instance where guests weren't all over the dance floor just having a great time. It was exactly what my wife and I wanted in a reception. Ron and S2D2 were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. They were integral in making our wedding day an absolute blast!

We first heard Jay at my cousin's wedding and loved everything about him. After getting engaged, I knew there were no other options for a DJ. He truly is more than a DJ. He helped plan, put together the timeline, and does everything in his power to let the bride and groom actually enjoy the wedding! He kept an amazing flow of the wedding, always let us know where we needed to be, and the dance floor was always packed. People are still talking about how fun the wedding was with all the dancing. From start to finish, working with Tamara and Jay was the most simple process and they were always extremely helpful. One of THE BEST decisions we made for our wedding!

We greatly enjoyed working with DJ Ron Fiedler. He was extremely well organized and quick to respond to all of our questions. We had a few last minute changes to our ceremony and he had no problem accommodating us. He made sure to play all of our favorite songs during the reception. We were paired up with D.J. Marc and were so happy! He went above and beyond for us. We provided him with a playlist to get him started, and he was able to grasp our music preferences. All of our guests filled the dance floor the entire night. It really says something about a DJ when the guests never get bored with dancing. Ours didn't and we were so happy with Marc! He also ran our ceremony and MC'd for us, our wedding would not have gone as smoothly without him!

The team helps from the beginning stages of planning all the way through the wedding day, Something 2 Dance 2 is definitely more than just a DJ. We had our wedding at Winnetka Community House and our ceremony was supposed to be outside but rain changed that. Fortunately, that did not stop Marc from making it any less special. He was able to set everything up for our ceremony and reception and ran it beautifully! We had a wide range of ages and cultures at our wedding and Marc was able to keep everyone entertained and the dancing flowing throughout the night. Not only that, he was a wonderful master of ceremonies and made sure everything ran smoothly, which was very helpful for a self-planned wedding! We met Tamara from Something 2 Dance 2 during a bridal expo at Hotel Baker. We chose them due to their experience at the venue, but we knew we picked the right team when we first met Tamara to discuss our wedding. Ron was our DJ, and from our first meeting, we were confident he understood our musical tastes (not always mainstream). Ron's instincts with background music during parts of the ceremony were spot on. He kept the action going throughout the night, and mixed in our odd music preferences while getting everyone dancing! We had a blast!! Many of our guests have let us know how great our wedding was. I highly recommend Ron, Tamara, and the entire S2D2 team!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Ron was on top of everything even before the big day. The music that he played was exactly what we wanted to hear. The dance floor was always packed with people dancing. I think my favorite part of the night was the last hour. The crowd at that point was mostly young people and Ron new exactly what to play to keep us all dancing:) still can’t beleve how perfect everything was❤️

We can’t even begin to explain how happy we are that we chose Something 2 Dance 2 to provide our DJ services for both our reception and ceremony! Mark was our DJ and we would HIGHLY recommend him! We honestly cannot say enough great things about this company! We are so happy we chose them to be a part of our wedding day. Every single person we worked with was absolutely amazing. When we went to our initial meeting, we met with Tamara. She ended up being one of the main reasons we decided to go with Something 2 Dance 2. She was wonderful and extremely helpful in every way! Our DJ Marc was incredible and made our wedding day perfect. When we first met with him, we told him how important the music was to us and how our goal was to have every one out on the dance floor the majority of the time, and that is exactly what he did with the songs that he chose to play. He also made sure things ran smoothly during the ceremony and reception and continued to check in with us throughout the night. When it came time for the important dances and the bouquet and garter toss, he made sure all parents and grandparents were in the room so no one missed anything. All in all, it was an amazing experience and now that the wedding is over, our friends and family can't stop raving about our DJ and the music.

DJ Jay was awesome! He did such a good job of reading the room and being able to tell when people were in the mood for dancing and when they weren't and then choosing the music for those moods! I had a lot of communication with Tamara to set up everything and she was super helpful and accommodating! We were able to meet with Jay before the wedding too and talk about all the details of the day and he was so helpful on the actual day with all of the audio. Definitely recommend for anyone's big day!

Something2Dance2 was on our recommended vendor list at our venue. I assigned my husband to set up meetings with DJs so we could meet the company and discuss details. We loved how they were so close to our wedding venue and our home. We initially met with Tamara and she was so nice and showed us some sample wedding agendas. We loved the company and immediately booked Something2Dance2 for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. After booking, we updated our online portal - which included answering questions regarding our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception as well as a "Do Play" and "Do Not Play" Lists. A couple of weeks before the wedding, our DJ - Ron Fielder - reached out to us to finalize our details. Meeting with Ron helped ease any concerns I had about the timeline as he generated a complete timeline of the day. He literally reached out to all the rest of our vendors to send out the timeline! He also called me, and our moms the week of the wedding so he could see if we needed anything. During the night, he definitely helped the timeline move forward. He was the best!! I highly recommend Something2Dance2 for your wedding, reception, or any other event! They go above and beyond!

Initially for our wedding we were just planning to have a friend do the DJ duties but they had to cancel and with only about a month and a half to go we needed to find a DJ. I had already known about how great Something2Dance2 was since they had DJ'd at my brother's wedding but experiencing it first hand was absolutely incredible. Our DJ Ron worked with us to make sure everything was perfect. Despite crazy work schedules, Ron made sure to find a way to meet with my now wife and I so we could go over every single detail about the wedding. He brought things up that I would never have even thought of to have planned for a wedding. After that meeting, Ron had an entire agenda planned out and sent over which we then constantly made changes to for the next month and Ron was always there ready to answer any questions and update everything accordingly. Day of the wedding, everything was so pre-planned that Ron wasn't just a DJ, he was basically our wedding coordinator too. My wife and I didn't have to worry about anything at all because Ron had everything scheduled and planned out ready to go. We had about 100 people attend the wedding and reception and the night was a blast. Everyone was dancing all night and the energy level was through the roof thanks to the amazing song selections and hype brought to the party. All in all, our DJ Ron helped make the night exactly what we wanted it to be and without him I have no idea how the night would have gone.

Our DJ was Marc Simmons and let me tell you he was amazing !!!! We met with him a week before our wedding and he answered all our question and gave us his professional opinion. The day of our wedding went so smoothly thanks to Marc. He was so personable and so fun to work with! The dance floor was packed the whole night up until the last song. Not only did we have the best time dancing but so did our guests. Throughout the night our guests kept coming up to us and telling us how good our DJ was. I have been to many weddings and let me tell you the DJ makes or breaks a night. So stop searching for a DJ ... Marc is your guy!!!!

We had our reception at the Morton Arboretum, and they suggested Something 2 Dance 2. We could not have been more pleased with the result. Our DJ was Marc Simmons. Before the wedding, he sat down with us for over an hour to make sure that he knew exactly what we wanted. He was patient and asked great questions to really get a feel for the type of reception that we wanted to have. He put together an incredibly detailed timeline, and gave it to me with enough advance that I could review it. He was also flexible, as he was willing to make changes on the day of. Marc responded to the crowd so well! Everyone has told us how wonderful our party was, and a HUGE part of that is due to Marc. He kept people on the dance floor all night. You simply cannot go wrong booking Marc.

Something 2 Dance 2 was very detailed with their work. They gave us many options for the entertainment. They offered to us the complete package to make our wedding a dream come true! We weren’t worried about finding another company after sitting down with Something 2 Dance 2 because they offered many services like personalized reproduced videos on a video screen. It doesn’t matter how many calls or emails you send them, they are always answering very quickly. Our DJ, Mark Mallett was very professional and patient with all the requirements we had. He respected all the playlists that we wanted for the dancing. After the wedding we received many compliments from our guests that said Mark did an amazing job incorporating two cultures into the reception.
