We couldn’t of liked Megan and Dan more! She did an excellent job helping everyone pose and letting them know what to do. Everything went seamlessly and I couldn’t of asked for a better photographer. She even let me borrow her shoes when mine were killing me! 10/10 would recommend! :)

Megan and Dan are LITERALLY a dynamic duo. It felt like it was 1000 degrees today in St. Louis for our engagement shoot and they both made it as fun and easy as possible. As a husband and wife team they are not only professional, but so kind and helpful in every way possible. I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone. I cannot wait for our wedding day with y’all!

As a wedding planner, I have worked with Meagan on several weddings. We met in person at a client's wedding rehearsal. She was the first photographer I have worked with who attends the wedding rehearsal in order to get a feel for the procession and ceremony details. This was so impressive and makes so much sense since this can be a very quick and very important moment of the day. Meagan goes out of her way to communicate and educate her clients in order to give them the best possible photos. I know that when a couple books with Meagan, they are in great hands.

There is a reason Megan and her husband are the best in the business! They work with you to accomplish what you want out of your shoot and are very positive and professional! Not only this but she isn’t scared to tell you what will make a great photo. She is worth every penny! She did our engagement session and got our photos back two us in two weeks!! They were amazing! Megan even gave us teaser photos the day after our wedding! She is so committed! I would highly recommend her to anyone and can’t wait to see the rest of our wedding photos! This vendor is a husband/wife duo. I met the husband at a bridal show in January, and they emailed me pricing information. I emailed back giving dates and times available to speak over the phone to discuss specifics and signing a contract...3 weeks later and no response, so I emailed the wife back again (pretending I hadn’t already emailed them so as to not make her feel bad since I figured she was busy) with my availability to speak over the phone. The wife gave me the run around for 2 Days, and then finally told me another couple just booked my wedding date. Completely unprofessional. I’m actually glad this happened because I cannot imagine how terrible communication would’ve been leading up to the wedding.

My fiance and I were able to work with the Something Bleu team for our engagement photos and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Even before the session started, Megan and Dan were out scouting locations, which showed me they were taking everything seriously. Our session lasted for a few hours and their excitement never dwindled which helped keep our energy up - very helpful! The next day, we had a sneak peak of our pictures and then we saw all of our photos a few weeks later! Everything happened in a reasonable time and we loved the quality of the shots - we got so many compliments!

So far we have done our engagement session with Megan and I am so incredibly happy to be having her for our wedding next year. She helped position us and kept us moving so that we got the most out of our session. She made it so easy for us to be laughing the entire session and enjoying our time, evening though we were taking pictures in the freezing cold. She incorporated every requests we had and did it with such creativity. I feel so lucky that we were able to find such an amazing photographer and person!

Oh my gosh our photographer and videographer were amazing! Megan was extremely nice and helpful when it come to taking pictures. She told us exactly what to do and where she wanted us to stand, and that was a feat for me. We also had our photo booth through them and they were amazing as well. Megan, Dan, and their team were great and I highly recommend them.

Megan and Dan were amazing! We received a phone call from Megan to introduce herself within less than 12 hours of our initial online inquiry. They were willing to phone conference and communicate via e-mail since our schedules are so varied and it can be difficult to schedule face-to-face meetings. Megan worked with us to prepare ahead of time by sharing a Pinterest board for ideas and requesting previous photos of us so she could get a feel for our style and personalities. During the planning and preparation process, Megan and Dan were incredibly patient and helpful considering they were planning and celebrated their own wedding only 2 weeks before coming to photograph ours! On wedding day they arrived early and got straight to work photographing details and everyone getting ready (which we hadn't planned on capturing...bonus!). They were efficient and incredibly organized with wrangling family members for photos to the point that we had down time between family pictures and the ceremony (which was awesome). Megan and Dan listened to us regarding requests for specific shots and didn't push us about shots that we didn't want to do. Megan made recommendations based on her past experience and respected our decisions either way. Megan was polite and checked with us throughout the day regarding any shots we wanted to make sure were taken. This included asking if we would be willing to leave the table during dinner in order to capture some pictures during the sunset. We are so glad we took her up on that instead of continuing to eat in that moment because one of the best photos of the set was taken at that time (we still finished dinner later...we weren't gone that long). Megan and Dan used a combination of posed shots as well as candid shots by cracking jokes, waiting for us to relax and be ourselves, and moving us around the beautiful venue for the best angles and lighting. Our dog is somewhat difficult to photograph and she captured a few beautiful images with us and our pet. The day after the wedding we were given a preview teaser photo to share with family. We chose to purchase the print release and digital gallery of all of our photos in high-resolution. We received the link to our gallery ahead of the estimated 6 weeks (we got them in 4 weeks). The photos are brilliant and beautiful! The whole process was fluid and we greatly appreciate Megan and Dan's support in capturing our special day.

I love my pictures so so so much from our wedding and I can't wait to see the photo album from all the pictures I picked! I was amazing pickibg the pics because they quickly sent to me all pictures they took, almost 1,000 of them! I got to pick as many as I wanted to that I liked, which was almost all 1,000 of them! Haha😄! They are amazing and the lighting that they bring with them is spectacular! I mean wow! My husband is a hard man to please and not only did they put up with him in a very wonderful way af the wedding 😉 haha! Also, pleased him perfectly with the pictures and their wonderful presence there! ☺ I also want to mention how amazingly accessible they are. They did anything to get back to me ASAP if they were not able to answer! If I have any kind of question about absolutely ANYTHING! Ladies, as we know as brides, we will have questions before AND after the wedding about pictures and they are the best people about being accessible and getting back to you ASAP about anything you need to know and I've heard the experiences of everyone, friends and family alike, about my photo/ videographer being BEST AND most accessible. Lastly, the thing that REALLY got me excited is when we did our walkthrough before of where we would take the pictures at the venue on the day of the wedding. I had a place in mind and when I walked through with Megan she saw something I did not and it was right in front of my eyes the whole time! I didnt know if it was going to look right but trusted her completely so we went with the area she thought would be best and when I saw the pictures, I saw it, wow! How did she see this in her head without even taking one picture first! They are true professionals. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have great pictures! And what score of them 5 out of 5!

These photographers are FABULOUS!! My wedding was crazy due to last minute venue changes, broken dress zippers, and a sick bride. However, they were so helpful, calm, patient, and PERFECT through it all! I loved our engagement pictures and have loved our wedding sneak peaks! Highly recommend!

Megan was absolutely amazing! She did an awesome job on our engagement photos and went above and beyond our wedding photos. She took every photo possible and didn't hesitate when I or someone else asked to take a certain photo. She was such a pleasure to work with and just from the few sneak peaks we've seen of our wedding photos, they are going to be spectacular! I would definitely recommend her!!

Megan did the photography for both our engagement and wedding sessions. She was so kind and easy to work with. My husband and I were lucky enough to be part of her company's "giveback" program, and she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and relaxed while we were being photographed. At the wedding, she was very good with some of the more stubborn children that didn't feel like smiling for family pictures. And all of the photos we've received are more beautiful than we could ever have imagined. Overall, I would can't recommend Megan and her team enough for your wedding. It was one of the highlights of ours.

We recently had our engagement pictures taken and they are amazing! She knew the perfect location (Waterloo, IL) for the country look we were wanting! She was very easy to work with and always took our opinions into account! We recently got to see a few sneak peeks from our session and I could not be more impressed! Megan was amazing to work with. I had a few places I wanted pictures taken but she was able to make suggestions on amazing places that are breathtaking. She helped keep me at ease during the day and was flexible with what I wanted and didn't want. When I got the pictures back I knew I picked the perfect photographer because she captured everything. They really are a work of art and you can tell her training was extensive and worth every penny. Something Bleu was the best choice I made for the whole day (besides my fiancé of course).

I was the maid of honor for a wedding Megan shot. As some background on myself, I am a part time photographer and have many friends who are photographers. I also made the dress for the bride, who is my best friend and my now sister-in-law. Megan made the day feel so special. She took so much care to highlight each and every small detail that made the day special. She took time to photograph the little moments while we were dressing about the many hours I put into the bride's dress. Megan is just so professional, I can't stress that enough. She was everywhere yet nowhere. To explain, basically within the first hour we had forgotten Megan was there in the best of ways. She became a part of our day and we felt so comfortable with her as a group that she was able to capture our dynamic without us feeling like we were being watched. This is the hallmark of a good photographer. She is technically savvy and can really setup a frame, that is without a doubt, but I believe her true in talent is in how quickly she makes you at ease. I wish she had been both our main photographer as well as videographer. She is kind, talented, and professional. You would be smart to hire her.

Loved them so much! I had my videographer cancelle last minute and something bleu worked so well with me. They answered any and all questions I had and we're always understanding. The end result was AMAZING! everyone loved the video and I felt like it really captured the energy of the day. We had such high expectations because we had one shot to capture one of the most important and intisipated days and they nailed it. So nice and easy going. Great pricing too!

Megan captured us fantastically in out engagement photos. Even the dog loved being included. After seeing out engagement photos I can't wait to see the wedding pics!

I can not express how amazing Megan Eileen was through our entire wedding process. She gave Peter and I more than professional photographs, she gave us an experience. When I first met with Megan, she had me take a style test. I felt like she really cared about me as a person and what I was looking for in a photographer. I love everything about our images. More than that, I love her as a person. She is so real and funny! Our entire wedding party couldn't help but laugh. And the photographs read how relaxed and comfortable we were. She took us out to dinner a month before our wedding to go over last minute details with our wedding planner and DJ. She attended our rehearsal the day before and handed out timelines! She even gave tips our wedding planner forgot! When it came time to receive our album, she took my vision and went above my expectations. I love everything about my Italian Leather Album!!!
