All of the girls here are amazing. I worked with Sandy who was super helpful when it came to finding dresses and trying them on. I fell in love with my dress and their HUGE selection made the process a whole lot easier
I visited several bridal shops and this was by far my worst experience. We arrived a couple minutes early with my grandma yet, yet we weren’t allowed to wait inside. Once inside, the experience felt far from special-no beverages offered, little assistance, and the staff spent more time chatting with each other than helping with dresses. Worse, we overheard employees whispering critically about another bridal. I regret visiting Something Blue Bridal due to how unprofessional the workers are.
Something Blue helped me find my something new! I purchased a beautiful Essence of Australia dress that took about 5-6 months to arrive. Being plus size, I was very nervous I would be limited to styles or forced to try on dresses that didn’t fit my body. This was not the case at all, in fact I never felt like any dress didn’t fit. I had so many options. They did such a great job making me feel comfortable and beautiful.
Also, I live out of state, but am originally from NWI. They were so helpful and shipped my dress to my house after they looked it over. They also helped me find a local seamstress to alter my dress closer to my house. It was a great experience.
Side note: be sure to check out their other locations. “The One” is in Saint John. This is an off the rack store. So if you have a tighter timeline, be sure to go here & you take your dress home same day. They are also opening a “Curve” store soon that will focus on plus size brides. They are very active on social media, so follow their pages for all of the updates!

Something Blue was one of the best dress shops of the six I visited when searching for a wedding dress. It was my first stop, and it was impossible to top. They have a very nice selection with many options. I ended up finding my dress at their pop-up, The One by Something Blue, which also had beautiful options.
I am extremely indecisive, and everyone that came with me to my first dress fitting knew this… I worked with Amber, and she listened to each detail from all the different dresses I tried on until we narrowed it down to the one that I could not beat at any other dress shop - until their pop-up. I made an appointment a month later at The One and requested Amber be there. That was honestly one of the best decisions I made that night. She remembered my taste. She remembered my style. She remembered my “dress to beat,” and it worked out perfectly. She found “The One,” and it was beautiful. She never rushed me, and it was such a pleasant experience at both Something Blue locations with her.
BEST Bridal Boutique in the area hands down. From the staff, the atmosphere, and the variety of dresses they exceed your expectations. Throughout the entire wedding process they are checking in with you which really makes you feel at ease. My dress was an absolute dream for my winter wedding, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
I cannot recommend this salon enough. The customer service is unparalleled (Shannon was the best!), they are quick to respond to questions, and they really do know exactly how to find the right dress for every single person that walks in the door. They also offer gown and veil preservation, and have contacts with great seamstresses to do your alterations (Thread Diva is AMAZING). Besides finding me the one single dress in the world that I could possibly have worn, they followed up constantly and even sent me a postcard congratulating me on my wedding after it was over, and requesting pictures... which I still owe them. If you haven't been to their website, be sure to check out their blog! Every week they do a feature on a Something Blue bride's wedding, and the pictures are great. If you are anywhere near the Northwest Indiana region, absolutely put these ladies on your list for your wedding dress shopping plans.
I can't say enough wonderful & amazing things about this boutique. The dress I came in to try on was at the sister location and Sandy drove it over on her day off to ensure my experience was perfect (& I ended up getting that dress). Amber was outstanding consultant. She worked very patiently with my guests (who had a lot of opinions & suggestions) & told me to let her know if I needed a break. She was supportive, compassionate & personalized her dress suggestions perfectly. 100/10 ranking I recommend every bride in NW Indiana, and the Chicagoland area to come have a wonderful experience here!
I can’t say enough good things about Something Blue and how easy it was to find “the dress”. I was able to reconnect with my childhood best friend Amber, who I highly recommend by the way because she’s awesome :) and enjoy that moment of finding my dress. I went in thinking I won’t find a dress today, I am not buying a veil, I don’t know about that dress on the hanger. All these preconceived notions. Once I put on my dress it fit like a glove, it was pure Disney princess glitter, and the veil made me feel like a bride as well as brought the tears on. The entire team at something blue answered all my questions and checked in throughout the wedding planning process without being asked. They also steered me in the right direction of Thread Diva thankfully! You won’t regret going there and I hope you find the dress that makes you feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day!
This store is amazing and really cares about their customers. They even let me stay additional time to find my dream dress! See attached photos. Afterwards, they sent me a handwritten card. I highly recommend them for your bridal gown!
Something Blue Bridal was amazing to work with! I ordered my dress in September 2020 for my October 2021 wedding. My shopping experience was great and I ended up finding my dress during my first appointment, which I was able to receive a discount for. Everything came on time and the size dress they recommended for me fit me like a glove! My dress was gorgeous and perfect!

I had a great experience from start to finish. NO STRESS. They didn’t pressure me to buy when I went in to try on dresses. They had an extremely smooth process and the staff were so welcoming and patient. All smiles start to finish. Most importantly the dress came in so quickly that they were calling me frequently to come to pick it up.lol. Awesome experience and endless compliments on my dress!
I bought my dress from Something Blue in February 2020. The experience of just finding the dress was everything I could have hoped for. Shannon was my consultant and she was amazing at making me feel so special and making the experience even better. I walked out with my dream dress that day. From then on and through this pandemic they have exceeded expectations. The dress came in exactly when they said it would and they still made you feel special and like a bride with the first fitting. I had a destination wedding and they have the most awesome durable carry on bag for the flight to borrow. I could see they love what they do and even in these uncertain anxious times they go above and beyond for their brides. Thank you so much for the best experience a bride could wish for.

The SBB crew is just fabulous! They are there for your specific needs and make the day go by so easily. Wedding dress shopping can be stressful but it’s so much fun at SBB! All of the employees are bright, energetic, and so easy to speak with!!
I would recommend going to “Something Blue Bridal” to everyone. The store was so cute, clean, and nice. The employees were AMAZING! They made my time there seem just as important to them as it was to me! The price ranges of the dresses were very very good. I believe nothing in the store is over $3,500. Their gown selection was magnificent! The most beautiful gowns I had ever seen, I liked everyone I tried on. I decided to go to SBB because I followed their Instagram and they do a great job of showing the dresses they have there on real people. The dress I bought was one I saw on their Instagram and I immediately said “I need this”. 100/10 stars for SBB!
My wedding dress shopping experience could not have been better! The girls were so nice and understanding. Also, they didn't show me any dresses outside of my budget and I really appreciate that! I was so nervous about finding a dress but when in with an open mind. My girl recommended a style dress I didn't think I was comfortable with but that was the one I fell in love with and ordered! From start to finish I was done in about an hour and a half and on my way to get tacos with my family!
Something Blue Bridal Boutique was absolutely amazing. The staff is so comforting and kind. They don’t rush the moments of you trying on dresses and really do love that you love the gown of your dreams. Celine helped me during my bridal appointment and actually found my dream dress for me! They also gave great recommendations for alteration studios and the seamstress they recommended made my gown fit like a glove. It truly made me feel like I had a fairy tale wedding and I can’t thank them enough for helping me feel special & beautiful on my big day!!

Absolutely AMAZING. I am so happy I went to Something Blue to try on wedding dresses! I had such a great experience trying on dresses and working with Something Blue once I found MY DREAM WEDDING DRESS! The ladies were there to answer all my questions and made the experience enjoyable and special. They were so accommodating when making appointments to try on and pick up my wedding dress and accessories, especially with being an out-of-town bride. The communication with the ladies, whether in person, email, or phone was great! They truly treated me like a bride and I would highly recommend them!
These amazing ladies are the best of the best! They were SO sweet and SO supportive every step of the way! They bent over backwards to work with us on a tight timeline and ever-changing plans and never made me feel like it was a burden - they were always more than happy to help! They treated me like family and their personality and skills were top-notch! The selection was exceptional and I will be telling all of my friends and family about what a great experience it was!
I'm so glad I chose to go to Something Blue Bridal to find my dress! They were amazing from the beginning. Even after the virus hit, they did everything they could to make sure I still had a somewhat normal bridal experience. I couldn't have been happier with them!
I am so happy I went to Something Blue Bridal to try on wedding dresses! When I went in, I had some ideas of what I thought I wanted. However, I was more than willing to try on suggestions (after all these ladies know what they’re doing). I tried on a few gowns and liked them but wasn’t in love. Then I was shown a dress that had just arrived yesterday, and the lady helping me thought it might be something I would be interested in. So I tried it on... and I fell in love with it!

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! They made me feel so at ease and so special every time I came to the shop! The girls were so sweet and I recommend them to everyone now! Colleen helped me try on over 20 gowns the first time I came in, and she was lovely! The owner follows up with emails, phone calls, with updates on your dress and they were so sweet to send us a postcard after we got married. Highly recommend! They have so many beautiful dresses to choose from!
I saw so many of my friends rave about this place and I knew I had to stop by. To no surprise, they were right. I found my dress on the very first day and they were all so accommodating and sweet. I ended up moving away from the area after finding my dress and had to travel back for my fittings. Keeping in contact was so easy and stress free. I also spend under my budget for the dress!
To follow up on another thing I love, they keep up with their brides and show them off in little blogs about their wedding day and I think personal touches like that mean the world when it comes to a small business.
I am so happy we stumbled upon Something Blue. I went wedding dress shopping with only one idea in mind – a long sleeve wedding gown – and walked away with not only my dream dress, but a feeling of gratitude to all of the girls that work at SBB. Celine was my bridal consultant and pulled every long sleeve gown in their inventory. My mother is handicapped, and they were accommodating to place a chair in several areas of their store for her to sit while we browsed through the dresses, while I tried them on, and even at the counter while we checked out. We went on ‘small business Saturday’ in Nov 2018, and received a discount toward a veil which was s surprise and very sweet of them to offer! We were never rushed or pressured into buying anything, and all of the girls at SBB were so sweet and accommodating. If you’re looking for a one-on-one experience with a large selection of beautiful dresses and accessories, SBB is the place to go!
The staff at something blue are amazing and do a great job of making every bride feel special. They also give honest feedback about dresses and aren't just interested in selling you one of their dresses. Two thumbs up.
I can’t say enough good things about Something Blue! I have recommended them to all brides I come across. I got my dress from Something Blue and it was stunning! They were involved in the process. Answered any questions I had. They even followed up with me after I picked my dress up to be sure there was nothing else I needed and to see if I had any additional questions.
They are a relaxed bridal boutique. Not like the others I went to before where they don’t listen to your wants and are just trying to push a sale. They treat you like family. They have a huge selection in ALL SIZES and price points!!
They offer different sales as well. I bought my dress originally and went back at a later time to pick a veil during their accessory sale and received a great deal on my accessories! They are the best there is! Everyone should truly go to Something Blue for their dress!
These girls are the absolute best! So patient, so sweet and helpful. They made this part of wedding planning so easy before, during, and even after I bought my dress. 100% recommend.
The store & people who worked there were great. The dress I tried on in the store was a few inches long on me & they said they would order the petite size which came a few inches shorter. With the shoes I was wearing it should have been the correct length on me. When I picked up my dress the tag said it was the petite length but it was still a couple inches too long so I’m not sure if there was a mix up.
Loved all the dresses I tried on there! They helped me figure out what looked best on me, and I loved all their suggestions! Would 100% recommend to others!
I was recommended this boutique by a friend last year and am happy I chose to go with Something Blue. I picked out dresses to try on and explained to the lady what I was looking for. After four dresses, she thought she had the dress for me. I tried it on and that was it! All of the dresses are reasonably priced, too. Thank you so much, Something Blue!
I LOVE this boutique! The customer service is beyond amazing and professional. They always did everything they could to work with my schedule since I was from out of town. I was also not enjoying the dress shopping process this and this boutique turned it all around for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Something Blue was my last stop for wedding dress shopping (#4 over 2 days) and I was getting discouraged but then they had the designer I liked and I pulled so many dresses to try on! They are fairly priced and you can tell they are quality dresses. Shannon was super nice and helpful and we all enjoyed our time there trying on dresses. I found the dress and I did not want to take it off! The staff was super friendly (Sandy even remembered my sister who got her dress here 3 years ago!). They kept me updated on my dress' status and checked in after I picked it up to make sure my fitting was scheduled and all was good. They also give recommendations for other vendors. Highly Recommend!!

Shannon was great! She was so patient with me wanting to try on a couple of dresses twice. She figured out what my style was and went and picked out a few that I liked that I didn't choose in the beginning. I ended up having a hard time picking between two, and she let me keep trying those two on until I made a choice. She then turned the lights off to see how it sparkled and I am still so in love with my dress. Everyone was really nice and the boutique was set up really nice! I highly recommend Something Blue Bridal to anyone wanting a fun experience!

I had the most wonderful experience shopping for my dress at Something Blue! Wedding dress shopping is such a stressful adventure, but the ladies at SBB made the experience enjoyable. They were so accommodating, even when I wanted to see that third dress a second time...and then a third. The were so patient and were just as determined as I was to find the perfect dress. I shopped at several different wedding dress shops in the area and Something Blue really takes the cake. I highly recommend you give them a try!
I loved Something Blue so much. As soon as you walk in you can tell the choices are endless but it doesn’t feel overwhelming. It feels cozy and welcoming and the music is fun and upbeat. You get excited as soon as you show up. My appointment was fantastic as I worked with Shannon. She was so enthusiastic and really knew her stuff. Also it can be kind of uncomfortable as these people are seeing all of your business and helping you in and out of dresses, but Shannon made me feel so comfortable and excited to keep trying on more. This place has something for every bride. Cannot recommend enough.
I had a wonderful experience shopping here. The staff was so helpful; I described my perfect wedding dress and the consultant was able to bring me a dress identical to what I had described. Everyone in the store was so polite and offered great advice on alterations as well. I felt the selection of gowns was great and also available at a reasonable price range.
