I had the best possible experience working with Liliana. If you are looking for a talented seamstress with an eye for design and beauty, look no further. On top of that she is an absolute delight to work with. Her attention to detail is obsessive but she is kind and easy going with her clients. I had found a dress that was almost perfect....it just needed creative sleeves. Liliana to the rescue! She transformed my dress into the dress of my dreams beyond what I had hoped for and I have never felt more beautiful than the day I wore that dress!! Thank you❤️

I can’t say enough good things about Liliana. She is a fashion magician. Not only on my wedding gown, but ALL of my bridal looks. She is the sweetest, kindest woman to work with and will not spot until it’s perfect. She was so understanding and listened when i wanted to tweak something. She also made sure every look was perfect in time for the events. She is the reason i felt so confident though my bridal era. She literally reworked every dress almost completely, except for my wedding dress.

Liliana did the alterations for my wedding back in May and she did a wonderful job! The dress came out perfect and it was everything I could have dreamed. She suggested doing an under bustle and it really made the dress perfect.
She took plenty of time to get every detail and finished the dress with plenty of time before my wedding.
I definitely recommend her for her attention to detail and excellent skills!
Do keep in mind that she is not the least expensive out seamstress out there, but she is definitely working to get exactly what you want!

Liliana did an amazing job altering my weddding dress. My dress had lots of layers of tulle and I was a little afraid that it would feel too heavy and big, however, after being altered it was so easy to walk around in and had such an elegant feel with all the layers. Also, the sleeves on my dress had been rubbing into my back and cutting into it and Liliana did a great job fixing it while maintaining the original look. Overall, I would definitely recommend Something Blue!

Liliana did an amazing job on my dress. I didn't have a ton of alterations but she changed the straps that came with the dress and made me a second set of custom straps with bead work to match the dress. This change required the cups to be adapted as well which I liked better than the original! She pays very close attention to detail and as we were doing the fitting made notes on areas where the beading needed to be fixed. Highly recommend!

Liliana was recommended to me by the bridal salon I bought my dress. She was easy to schedule with on a weekend that worked for me. Her shop is very clean and I felt comfortable there. She is clearly very busy as she had a bride booked before me that carried over and another bride 20 minutes after me. She paid close attention to every detail and measurement and made sure the length of my dress looked great with both pairs of shoes. My dress was gorgeous and she did an amazing job making the bustle look like its own dress. However, I did not find her method of pricing to be professional. After she pinned me up, the next bride was sitting waiting next to me as she reviewed my estimate. I didn’t feel that I had the space to discuss it with her as she was so busy. Even though her page states starting at 400, her estimate to hem, bustle, and tighten the top corset of my dress was $900. I had to deposit half that day. I tried calling her the next week to discuss it and what I was paying for but she told me “400 is only for a simple dress like from David’s bridal”. Even though David’s bridal sells similar dresses to mine. I felt my alterations were basic and standard. Other brides I know who got married after Covid spent 500 or less for similar alterations. Then at my 2nd fitting the dress wasn’t ready yet because she didn’t have enough time (within 2 months) to sew all of my bustle buttons. She then told me that the new estimate could be up to 1100 but she didn’t give me a final price. I came back for my final fitting and the dress was perfect just how I wanted. The bustle details were gorgeous. I am very happy with my dress alterations. However she now had asked for a total of 1300 which is only 500 less than the dress itself! Again I had to discuss this in front of other people and I told her that wasn’t in my budget I budgeted for 900 give or take 100 and it didn’t seem fair to keep increasing the price based on “how much time it took me”. I felt I was at her mercy to be charged whatever price. She finally negotiated on taking $50 off the total price. But then she said since I didn’t have 600 in cash on me that she was charging me a credit card fee of $38. At no point did she mention a cash discount until that minute. I could understand if I was adding fabric or changing the shape or sleeves or something but this seemed outrageous for standard alterations. I would recommend you give yourself a lot of time and do not make a deposit with Liliana until you shop around, unless you are willing to pay any price for a perfect dress.

Liliana and her team were absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, she was incredibly personable and professional, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. I absolutely loved how my wedding dress turned out.
She skillfully took in a significant amount around the bust and sides, hemmed the bottom flawlessly, and even added a bustle that draped perfectly in the back. Every adjustment was done with such precision—it truly brought my vision to life. I couldn't be happier with the results. Love, love, love!

Liliana is a wedding dress wizard. She puts pride and attention into all of her alterations, and boy does it show. I'm a short curvy bride and thanks to her work, my dress fit me like a glove in no way any garment ever has before. She also worked with my mother on her gown as well, and was incredibly patient when she asked for some last minute alterations. I was recommended Liliana by a friend, and I will continue to pay that advice forward to anyone who needs alterations.

Liliana did an incredible job with my dress. I needed it shortened and taken in and she worked well with the delicate lace so that it fit me perfectly. The work required going through several layers of fabric as well. She was so pleasant to work with and was well organized. I'd highly recommend her!

Liliana is one of the best people I had the honor of working with during the entire wedding planning process. She was recommended to me by a friend who had also had a great experience with her. It was truly one of the best decisions I made working with Liliana. I came to her with a vision in mind about my wedding dress, and she brought it to life in a way that exceeded my expectations. She added gorgeous sleeves to my dress, and made sure my worries about the fit were not an issue for the big day. I have a relatively busty top and Liliana made it so I could dance all night long in my gown with no problems. Throughout the entire process, Liliana communicated with me every step of the way. She was always so professional, poised and so so sweet. Not to mention, she made me feel like a queen in my gorgeous perfectly fitted dress! Thanks to her I felt calm and confident for the big day. I will forever call her my fairy godmother because I truly didn’t know what was possible until I met her. Liliana did a fantastic job altering my wedding dress. From my first visit I could tell she knew what she was doing and truly cares about making you feel perfect on your big day. The alterations required basically deconstructing the top of the dress to shorten the straps and adding both an under bustle and an over bustle to make the dress look just right. She went into each visit with a critical eye and I left feeling confident and beautiful!

Liliana was recommended to me from a friend when I needed my dress altered. I wanted someone I could trust with my expensive lace dress and seeing her photos, I knew she had the experience I was looking for. She finished my dress in two weeks which I was so grateful for. She took 4” in both sides, added a bustle, and took in my sleeves, and took out the padding in the bra. It made a huge difference in my dress and I fell back in love with my gown. It ended up costing me $700. But- the peace of mind and what I walked out with felt worth it to me. You get what you pay for.
My grandmother was a seamstress so I know the passion that goes into it and the work. I will only be using Liliana from this point on for all my seamstress needs.

I found my dream dress, but it was 1.5 sizes too big and since my wedding was 4.5 months away I couldn't order the correct size. Liliana worked her magic to make my dress fit! She was so friendly, accommodating and listened to my needs. She even let me come back for a follow up to my 2nd fitting to address additional concerns I had and I'm so glad I did, it allowed me to bring home my dress at my final fitting. Her suggestion for an under bustle was exactly what I wanted and it looked AMAZING! You couldn't even tell my dress was bustled it looked so perfect and I loved it so much, it also made for the perfect spin moment with my dress. I highly recommend!

I worked with Liliana to complete alterations on my wedding dress! She was great and friendly to work with and completed all alterations in a timely manner. My dress had many layers and was very difficult to figure out how to bustle, however Liliana took the time in our appointment to make sure that she created the perfect way to bustle the dress. She also redid my sleeves with the embroidery to make sure that they fit perfectly. Dress came out looking fantastic! :).

Liliana is a fantastic seamstress! 1.5 months before my wedding, my old seamstress said she couldnt finish my dress. Luckily, Liliana was there to save the day. She made time in her schedule to fit me in, and completely redid the bodice of my gown! It was illusion with lace and white cups, she undid it, made it smaller, added a partial lining and put nude cups. not only that but she took the time to sew the lining around the plunge front and keep the V shape back which was not easy! other seamstresses just said it would be a band like a strapless bra but Liliana worked tirelessly to make sure my dress was perfect and keep a smile on both my and moms face! talent aside she genuinely cares about each bride and takes time to make sure you are ok and enjoying the process. and her something blue finishing touch is just what my dress needed. if you need alterations, look no further - Liliana is the best. I will be having her preserve my dress for me after the wedding too - using all organic products!

My mom, sister, cousin and I have used Liliana for past events so when it came time for me to get my dress tailored I knew the only person I could trust with my gown was Liliana! My dress wasn't particularly heavy but because of where the lace fell on the train of my dress a traditional bustle made it look like the fabric was pulling. So in true typical Liliana fashion she worked her magic and left me with a 2 layer bustle! I absolutely loved it and I was incredibly comfortable wearing it the entire night of my wedding. Liliana is truly the best!

I love working with her! She is very lovely and passionate about her work. I had a conundrum about my dress because I needed to stay on budget and at the same time, I have a few weeks left before my wedding day. She offered her professional advise not to settle for minimum alterations. After convincing me to invest more and a few weeks of being anxious of how my dress would look, she modified my wedding dress into perfection and made it so that it is MINE and not just an RTW.
