If there’s one thing you need to do it’s HIRE LEXI!!! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lexi for our August 2025 wedding and we could not have done it without her. She sent me to do’s at the beginning of every month, answered all of my questions and doubts, always responded in a timely manner, and was just a joy. There were so many details to remember (especially on the day of) and she helped keep me on track and stepped in when I felt overwhelmed! I didn’t even realize the small things that went wrong on the day of because she took care of it. She set up and took down exactly how we needed it! Hiring Lexi is an absolute must and totally worth the investment. I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Lexi was an absolute DREAM to work with as a wedding coordinator! From the beginning, she was very genuine, professional, attentive, timely, and flexible! My husband and I had a blast meeting her and discussing details because of her down-to-earth nature and kindness. We hired her as a month-of coordinator for our wedding, and she seriously made the last several months of wedding planning a breeze with her hard work. She coordinated our vendor team, created our timeline, contacted all vendors, decorated our venues, and cleaned up everything! Her organization, dedication, passion, and creativity truly helped make our wedding day run so beautifully and smoothly! Even with the 100-degree heat and 30 mph winds, Lexi made sure everything from our vendors, decorations, and timeline went perfectly! My husband and I were amazed at how stunning our ceremony and reception venues looked! She was able to capture my dream wedding inspiration ideas and make them a reality! We are beyond grateful for all the work Lexi did to help make our wedding so incredible! We truly could not have pulled off our dream wedding without her! I cannot recommend Lexi enough to any couple getting married in Lincoln and the surrounding areas! ❤️

Hey I’m Lexi, owner and lead coordinator of Something Blue Events! I’ve lived in Nebraska for the majority of my adult life, and am excited to continue making a life in this hidden gem of a state. Outside of touring venues, chatting about wedding dreams, and turning Pinterest boards into reality, you can find me spending time outdoors with my husband and our two dogs, sipping on some wine with friends, or catching up on my favorite TV shows. Getting to meet new people and be a part of one of the most important days of some amazing humans’ lives has made wedding planning such an impactful and rewarding part of my own life. I can’t wait to chat more and help make your dream day, perfect!

ding up to the big day, she was always very diligent, communicative, professional, and also super excited for us and fun to be around! On the days leading up to the wedding she did an amazing job of taking things off our plates and then on the wedding day she executed perfectly! I searched for day of coordinators originally and was seeking that with Lexi but ended up going with her deisgn package as well which was 100% worth every penny! When looking for a coordinator I immediately got a good vibe with Lexi and just felt like I could trust her, she did not let us down!

as involved as I wanted to be and stress and anxiety free. The regular meetings and her monthly to do lists/check-ins kept me right on track and helped alleviate my anxiety about what I needed to be doing – because she told me exactly what I needed to be doing! The takeover of vendor contacts a month out was incredible – I didn’t have to worry about my vendors being there on time or being barraged with questions and messages in the days leading up to the wedding. Lexi made sure no detail was forgotten. Lexi brought my vision to life and truly helped us have the wedding I had always dreamed of and made sure our day was perfect. Lexi was amazing to work with – she really cared about us and I can’t imagine wedding planning without her. Hire Lexi – you will be so happy you did!

e felt like every detail was finalized going into wedding week, which was very reassuring. And if any situation ever came up, she was the first person we texted and she would always give a prompt response. The vendor communication take over 30 days out was also wonderful and so stress relieving. She made sure everyone knew where they had to be and when they had to be there, and we weren't flooded with phone calls, emails, and questions as a result. Lastly, during the day of our wedding, everything flowed seamlessly and all details were in place. Even with our massive wedding party, we were all able to stay on time (for the most part :) ) with the help of Lexi's very detailed scheduled. Our wedding day was perfect, and Lexi played a major role in making it such a sweet and memorable day. We are so grateful for all of her insight and support, and couldn't recommend her more!! she did so much more than that. She checked in with me monthly to help me get all my ducks in a row. She also reassured me and made me feel like I was on top of what i needed to be! By the time I saw her on my wedding day I felt like she was one of the Bridesmaids and had to give her the biggest hug! She was there to help make sure everything ran smoothly so that I could experience the wedding day to its fullest. I am one of those people that tries to do everything myself because I'm afraid that if I don't things will be done wrong but I had no fears with Lexi and I knew that she was going to get everything right or help me when things didn't go as planned! I highly recommend having Lexi on your side for your wedding day, she will help you more than you know!
