Something Blue was the best decision I made on my wedding day. Marion was an absolute pleasure to work with and created the most beautiful flowers for my wedding. I wanted blues and purples (I'm not a fan of the all white wedding) and wow did she deliver. Marion was professional, trustworthy and truly a pleasure to work with. Marion always answered emails timely, and was always accommodating no matter what questions or concerns I had. I haven't stopped thinking about my flowers since my wedding and just wish I could keep my bouquet fresh forever. Not only is Marion a florist but she is an artist at her craft and I am so so thankful for her services!

Something Blue and Marion were such a dream to work with. Marion answered all of our questions, clearly understood our vision for florals, and worked with our budget to create the most beautiful floral decorations and bouquets. Our guests and bridal party were raving about the florals all night. I had shown my mom a photo of the vision I had for a bouquet (which I shared with Marion) and my mom rightfully commented that what Marion created was way more beautiful than what I hoped for. She was also super professional and easy to work with the day of. It was a chaotic morning getting ready and she delivered everything early, and I just knew I didn't need to worry about anything floral-related. I can't recommend Marion highly enough!!!

We interviewed several florists, but Marion was the one who stood out. She was on our preferred vendor list, and it’s easy to see why. Marion is incredibly knowledgeable and has a keen eye for aesthetics. While we didn’t know much about flowers, I shared some inspiration photos and described the overall theme, look, and feel we wanted for our wedding—summer romantic florals.
I showed her the bridal party's attire and my dress, then gave her creative freedom to bring our vision to life. Marion absolutely hit it out of the park! The flowers were stunning and perfectly tied the entire wedding aesthetic together. I was genuinely sad that I couldn’t keep those beautiful arrangements forever

Marion and her staff did an amazing job with not just our flowers but all of our decor for the wedding. We came in with a vision of a rainbow beach wedding and Marion made it work and it came out fantastic. She worked with our budget and was flexible with our changing wedding party. She also came up with great ideas to really help our vision come true, suggesting hanging starfish on the aisle instead of flowers and many of our guest told us how beautiful our arch that Something Blue provided was.

I cannot thank Marion and her team enough for the amazing job they did on my wedding day! It was absolute perfection and exactly the way I envisioned. Marion was amazing- from start to finish she was professional, courteous, helpful and very creative. She went out of her way to make the flowers come to live and really tried to make sure she created unique and gorgeous arrangements that were also exactly what I wanted. She even helped me when I was overwhelmed with details and took the table cloth decision off my plate and did an amazing job coordinating it all. Walking into the venue was like walking into a dream! It was absolutely magical! Everyone at the wedding commented about how incredible the flowers were. Marion definitely went above and beyond to make my wedding incredibly special. We were married September 16th 2023, outside venue, the only weekend that was not awful weather. It was, in fact, a beautiful day. We were blessed.
My vision for our wedding included a broad floral palette, but specific. It is important to say I LOVE flowers and color in general, so wedding flowers was a big, daunting deal for me. I wanted so many different light pinks but not a peach look. I wanted yellow. As my personal process came to light, I went ahead and added blue (delphinium) into the mix. I shared with Marion one or two inspiration photos.
That said, I could not wrap my head around how Marion would be able to create what I envisioned in my head. I had no fear though, my great friend and wedding planner, Patrick, and my beloved cousin, Hilary, both sung Marion's praises.
Ironically, the day I met Marion, which was a splendid meeting, Marion and I were talking flowers and we came to realize my cousin Hilary had her florals done by Marion!!
It was uncanny. What a small world. I kept my cousins centerpiece until almost her second wedding, just a few months before meeting Marion! The centerpiece sat on my dining room table alone for months, as with Hilary's vision, she wanted some synthetic flowers for her winter wedding. Synthetic flowers, I know, odd, but it worked beautifully and it lasted! Marion.. worked it beautifully, just like our wedding.
The florals for the two weddings were different, with different venues, but both perfect for the individual brides (whom people often say are very much alike;).
Our guests were floored, to say the least. It was a wonderful day. I can not thank Marion enough and I can not say enough good things about Marion. She is so kind. She is so talented and versatile, and Marion did an exceptional job for us.

Our wedding was July 15, 2023 and Marion couldn't have been more amazing from day 1. We reached out pretty early after seeing her a wedding she had done at Bourne Mansion while we were venue shopping because it was absolutely gorgeous, as is everything she does. Marion was so helpful during the initial meetings and absolutely knew my vision immediately, she made sure to include my favorite flowers all throughout my wedding which was so special. She also came to do a flower reveal at the spot I was getting ready with my bridal party which was so wonderful and really got the day started. Everything was magical, from the ceremony flowers with a gorgeous screen as a backdrop decorated with all the flowers to our wedding cake which was decorated to match. It was all flawless and I couldn't have been happier with the results. I HIGHLY recommend Something Blue Floral Events for your wedding!

Working with Marion was such a pleasure! She is so incredibly skilled in her work and it shows in every piece she and her team creates.
I don’t think I fully articulated what I wanted when I first met with her but somehow she pulled together the most elegant and elevated florals I’ve ever seen. She was able to take a very vague description of the aesthetic I wanted and create florals that went far beyond what I expected. We received compliments on our wedding flowers all night and I did not expect to be the bride that was so in love with my flowers. Her style is beyond sophisticated and she’s able to work with whatever venue/ environment you’re trying to create.
I highly highly recommend using Something Blue Floral Events and my advice would be to tell her the vibe you’re going for and then give her the freedom to create it! She’s truly an expert in her work and we could not be happier we used Something Blue!!
She also does a flower reveal the morning of the wedding with the girls if able which added such a fun memory for us!

Words fail to describe the work Marion and her team did for us on our wedding day. I will dream about my flowers and seeing them for the first time for years to come. And people will be talking about them, too, that is for sure. From the moment we saw Marion’s work, it was a no brainer. At our consultation meeting and subsequent phone calls and emails thereafter, Marion truly got my vision and brought it all to life in a way I could have never imagined. It was beyond beautiful. What sets Marion apart is that she truly understood how important flowers are to the wedding day and how they, in and of itself, can make or break the entire event. They are probably the most important part of the wedding, besides the bride and groom. Because they bring life and character to the wedding. They simply define it. Marion knows this and knows it well. Each and every step she took to perfect our flowers was noticed by everyone who attended our wedding. When I was handed my bouquet, it simply took my breath away! The professionalism, the care, the QUALITY, and the masterfulness that is Marion and her entire team is noticeable from the smallest petal to the biggest centerpiece and we are so incredibly lucky to have had Marion as a part of our team. Marion was the absolute best florist and friend a bride could have asked for. She took my dream to life but also more importantly put my trust in her to come up with my vision. She was patient, hardworking and her entire team was truly just phenomenal. People today are still commenting about my centerpieces, girls flowers, table settings, table cloths, etc. When people walked into my ballroom they were completely blown away. I have nothing but compliments for Marion at Something Blue. My bouquet was insanely beautiful – it fit my style and vision perfectly. She worked with us on different table centerpieces for our oval and round tables and everything was so beautiful! I loved the lanterns and the low laying wreaths. Our cake was gorgeous. She was also able to reuse large flower arrangements from our ceremony for the reception area in a seamless way. Honestly, florals were not the highest priority for me initially (I am no flower expert!). I knew I liked a lot of greenery and a bohemian vibe. I had some photos of bouquets I liked and pointed out a few flowers I really loved. As I got deeper into wedding planning, I realized that flowers become an integral part to the look and feel of your wedding. The end result really blew me away - I could not be happier. I’m surely a bit biased, but the flowers at our wedding were the most beautiful I’ve ever seen 🙂

Marion and her team were amazing. From my first meeting with her, it was clear she has our vision and our best interest at heart. I was a little intimidated with the process, and she made me feel so comfortable and helped me by asking me specific and clear questions regarding my vision. When I wasn’t sure about something, she took the time to explain the options, weigh the pros and cons, and help me make an informed decision. She was upfront about cost and different options, where I could save, and how to best work within my budget. Something that really made her and her work stand out was the comments and endorsements from other vendors. The venue, photographer, and planner I worked with all commented on how much they loved working with her and her team and how her product was outstanding. I was so impressed on the day of the wedding. The arrangements, bouquets, arch, and cake decor were absolutely stunning. So many guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. Marion is a visionary, simply put. The quality of her work stands above the rest and is a mix between carefully curated and artistically whimsical. Blown away! She went so above and beyond. Everything was art, and my personal favorite was the flower arch. I saw it on her Instagram and it provided a magnificent backdrop for our ceremony and was later placed behind our sweetheart table. My wife’s bouquet popped in every shot (we had a very bright color palette and could not have been happier with that choice, as Marion really nailed the vivid colors). The centerpieces gave life to a large white ballroom. And when we told Marion that we were going to have two fewer centerpieces due to last minute dropouts, she repurposed the flowers and made gorgeous mantle pieces to place around the mansion. I have to say that while we did get some cheaper quotes, you cannot compare the quality of Something Blue with much lesser priced options; you truly get what you pay for. We met with three other florists and it was clear Marion was not only going to give us more personal attention than any other, but that she was legitimately excited to design arrangements with less traditional colors. Each time we reached out, she would call to go over any potential changes to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. And she is also the absolute sweetest person you will ever meet. You should have two takeaways from the pictures: 1) the arrangements are STUNNING; and 2) they are EXACTLY what we asked for. The second is more important because even if you don’t love what we chose, you should know that Marion will bring your vision to life precisely how you want it. For us, she showed us a beautiful sample, then asked which colors/flowers we wanted enhanced, which we wanted less of, etc. It was truly perfect. My only disappointment was I couldn’t take the arch home! Working with Marion and the final product were both better than anything I could have imagined.

My daughter's wedding was held at the Bourne Mansion , in Oakdale, NY, on 9/4/2021. Marion, from Something Blue , did an amazing job decorating the mansion, and we have received so many compliments on the floral decor in every room!! I wanted the WOW factor for the ceremony and the ballroom, and Marion certainly achieved it flawlessly.
She was absolutely a pleasure with whom to work before and during the pandemic, and entertained every question and concern in such a timely fashion. Marion made our vision come to fruition! What gorgeous and magical floral displays!
My daughter's bouquet was also exquisite, and just what she envisioned, walking down the aisle.

Our husband & I had scheduled for Marion to do our flowers for our wedding but when Covid happened, we ended up doing a small backyard wedding. Fast forward a year, we wanted to celebrate our 1 year anniversary doing a photoshoot at the De Seversky Mansion and when we asked her to be apart of our special day, she did not hesitate at all. From the moment we met her until the day of the photoshoot, she has been so accommodating, gracious and willing to help in any way she could. What can I say about Marion, we have been working with her for the past two years as my daughter’s wedding was postponed from two years ago until this past Saturday, July 25. Her flowers are the most luxurious and according to all my guests the fullest flowers they have ever seen. From the first look at my flowers while getting ready, to the grand ballroom reveal, we were blown away! Marion's work was unparalleled. My grandmother keeps staring at photos of my bouquet. Marion was even able to tie my grandfather's (who passed away) wedding ring into my bouquet. We have been inside Flowerfield (our venue) often during the planning stages. Considering we have had to move our date a year because of COVID, we had many meetings there! The way Marion decorated Flowerfield made it look like a brand new place.
My husband and I walked into the ballroom for the first time and were absolutely blown away. Between the table floral arrangements, uplighting, and the elaborate ceiling installation that Marion was able to pull off, it looked like an absolute fairytale. All of the little touches Marion added in were amazing! The flowers on the cake looked gorgeous, the sweetheart table display was adorable & the loose flowers around the ice sculpture made it pop! We had a banner from my shower that we wanted to display and Marion was able to hand it for us and provide stunning arrangements for around it!
Honestly the pictures should speak for themselves. Marion was a delight to work with and we would want to work with her in the future for any event we might host!

We were told by many that Marion at Something Blue is THE best florist in the area, but didn’t believe it until we saw her arrangements for our wedding. Her centerpieces were unreal and absolutely breathtaking. The bouquets and additional flowers were all complimenting and gorgeous. We were concerned with the ballroom at Bourne Mansion looking empty with our 50 person covid wedding, but the beautiful candelabras and full gorgeous arrangements that Marion used completely transformed and filled the room. My wedding was yesterday 11/10/19 and Something Blue Floral Events absolutely made the day look and feel special. Hands down A+++. Worth every penny. Marion the owner, was easy to work with and saw my vision. I was looking for a rustic, whimsical feel, with hanging greenery that incorporates my colors, and she nailed it. My bouquets were perfect, centerpieces were a show stopper, and so many people commented on how beautiful everything was. I know people say flowers are a waste because they die, but this was definitely necessary. Would recommend her over and over again.

We were planning our wedding from out of town and Marion was fabulous to work with! From the moment we met her, we knew our floral vision was in the best hands. She was very hands-on. Over the 11 months of planning, she kept great communication with us. We wanted a Late Spade inspired color pallet and she blew it out of the park! I think the most compliments we got about our wedding was the floral arrangements. We were absolutely blown away when we arrived to our venue to see our dreams and ideas come to life EXACTLY how we invisioned... And that's pretty hard to come across these days! Marion is absolutely amazing. She is my wedding florist and I instantly connected with her at the expo at my venue. We hired her to do my bridal shower too and I cannot say enough good things. She was able to produce exactly what I was looking for based on my sketches and inspiration photos and worked with us to give me what I wanted. Her choice of florals together was absolutely perfect and just seeing the arrangements together bought tears to my eyes it was just so stunning. The favors were also beautiful. We purchased the vases but she made the arrangements and they were arranged so lovely. Designing comes naturally for her. She helped to add a little touch of greens on my lingerie display too to help tie it all together. I cannot sing Marion’s praises enough! She is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet! WASTED OUR TIME.
At first we thought they were nice, but they have NO experience. Nothing creatively to offer. Very Bland. They recommened them at
Bourne Mansion but they were so expensive and had a lack of individualism for our wedding. Very Limited. The other flowerr companies just seem to copy each other and this place then beomes a dead end. Small flower place with little to no staff made us worry.
Marion and her team are just beyond words! My husband and I got married on November 17th, 2018 and hired Something Blue as our florist and we couldn’t have found a better florist if we had tried! Marion saw our vision and replicated it perfectly! Not to mention, she gave us bubble bowls over the dance floor with roses and candles that were to die for!! If you need a florist, do yourself a favor and go find Marion at Something Blue!! You will not be disappointed.

We met Marion at a bridal showcase at the Bourne Mansion, where we got married in October. We loved her from the first time we met and sat down to talk about our wedding. She really took her time with us, really got to know us and what we had envisioned for our flowers to be for our wedding day. We loved all the work she had shown us so we completely trusted her to design our flowers for our wedding. We gave her an idea of the color scheme and some little details we wanted, but other than that we really had no idea what our flowers would truly look like until the day of and boy did she kill it! Our centerpieces looked gorgeous and exactly what we had envisioned, but quite couldn’t put into words. Our bouquets were all beautiful as well. We received a lot of compliments on everything also! Marion did a great job at making everything feel romantic, yet slightly rustic. We rented her arch for our ceremony, the famous rustic arch. It was absolutely stunning in person and in pictures even more beautiful than I imagined it to be! Marion was so easy to work with, so kind, so talented and just an all around great florist. We couldn’t be more thrilled with our choice to go with Something Blue and we can’t wait to work with her again soon!

Marion was super sweet and easy to work with. I have to say, when it came to flowers I was not the easiest bride. I had an ‘idea’ of what I wanted but was very uncertain about specific colors and how certain things would look. Marion was even kind enough to let me come in for a design session to see how a centerpiece would look. After a lot of back and forth and still not being 100% sure, I put my total trust in Marion to deliver the type of look I wanted. I am SO happy I did! Everything came out so beautiful!! Prices are on the higher side but Marion is a literal artist and a complete sweetheart and pleasure to work with. I told her my theme was elegant but not too much and a "soft garden-y feel" (clearly, I had no idea what I was talking about). I gave her a few inspiration photos and told her my colors and somehow she understood my vision exactly and made absolute magic happen on my wedding day. I did very little decor in the ballroom at Flowerfield besides flowers and had a mixture of highs, lows, and special manzanita tree centerpieces and Marion literally blew it out of the park. Every single flower from the petals my flower girl threw to the extremely ornate flowers around the gazebo were STUNNING. They stayed fresh for days after and I got a million compliments about them. One of my guests told me I should be an event planner because the wedding looked that beautiful. The bouquets were the most beautiful I have ever seen and when I saw them I almost cried. I would recommend Something Blue in a heartbeat. I know that most girls don't like to spend a lot on flowers but my whole theme was based on them so I definitely went all out and I would do it again. She hand delivered my bouquet, my girls bouquets, flower girl crown, and petals to me on my wedding day and her delivery boys and her were beyond professional and extremely kind. I did feel the need to oversee any of the set up because I knew Marion and her team know what they're doing and were going to set up my event in a way I could not even imagine. Would use her again and again.

Marion is a delight to work with. I don’t know how she compares to other florists as far as price, as she was the only one I met with. But she was affordable and completely got my vision after just one meeting. I’m not a flower person, but the bouquets and centerpieces were just beautiful.

Marion is by far my favorite wedding vendor!!! She won me over at our initial meeting by giving her honest opinion of where I should spend money as well as where it was not necessary. She maintained close contact subsequently to negotiate as she wants you to feel comfortable with what you’re getting. Marion did an amazing job for the flowers for our wedding. All our flowers and arrangements came out beautiful and exactly how I imagined it. Marion was wonderful and so easy to work with. She listens to what you want and gives great ideas and feedback in helping you create the wedding of your dreams.
Marion was an absolute pleasure to work with. She so genuinely enjoys what she does and is always so happy to make your event as beautiful as possible. From a businessman’s point of view, one thing Marion’s team at Something Blue does that I found unique and a BRILLIANT idea, is that she creates a “mock up” of your centerpieces prior to the event so you can see how they’ll look live and in person. This way you can see how your conversations are translated into reality and can make any further adjustments. We cannot recommend Marion highly enough!!

I was the bride that didn't think I needed all these floral arrangements for the wedding, thinking it was just a silly expense we could do without and wanted to opt for fake flowers - but when I met with Marion and spoke to her about what I wanted, and she told me (and showed me) what she could do, I was sold. Everything about the arrangements - from the centerpieces and bouquets to the boutonnieres, were absolutely gorgeous and I am so glad I spent the time and money working with her. It just upped the wow factor for the big day and everything came out stunning. She is the sweetest woman you could hope to work with, and she put up with me being very picky about what I wanted and it still came out beautiful. There wasn't an arrangement left after the wedding, so many people wanted to bring them home and keep them, and I don't blame them! When you're thinking about flowers, Marion and Bayview are the best you can hope for. And this is coming from a woman that doesn't even like big arrangements!

Marion was a dream to work with. Her knowledge, experience coupled with her openness to my suggestions allowed us to create and execute the wedding of my dreams. My bridesmaid couldn't get over how beautiful their bouquets were and how long they lasted - four days later my bouquet looks as good as it did the morning Marion dropped it off. The centerpieces were exquisite and gave our wedding the classic elegance we were hoping for. I will definitely be using Marion again for future celebrations!
After looking long and hard at florists we chose bayview because not only was the quality and style of their work what we wanted but the selling point was Marion. She spoke with me on the phone ( after being so upset we couldn't meet in person because we live out of state ) which I thought was so nice she wanted to feel us out and make sure she worked with us to give us what we wanted within our budget. She was so accommodating and prompt when responding to emails and calls. She presented many options within our budget and allowed us to choose what worked the best. Our flowers were STUNNING she created our bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, a flower crown for my flower girl, the centerpieces and a beautiful piece for our archway on the beach. It was the icing on the cake if you will ! She created the floral arrangements to be exactly what we wanted and was very detailed and informative when helping us choose what we wanted. She is a master of her trade and I highly recommend using this company. Her kindness, professionalism and passion for what she does is not something you find in every vendor.
