Something Borrowed Bridal Rentals

Don’t rent from here!!! Picked up my dress today. The dress had a large, new snag and a BROWN stain. I panicked because I have bridals on Monday! The owner was so rude, didn’t apologize, and refused to refund me. She blamed me for not seeing it and not calling her. She also said that I shouldn’t have rented the dress in the first place because I didn’t like it. Well, I bought the exact same dress from a different store! Don’t waste your time or money!

This place was SO AMAZING! The lady and guy who were working there helped me out so much. I went to go and pick out a few dresses that I liked, the worker also went around a picked out two dresses that she thought I would enjoy also. Turned out the only two dresses that I really loved were the ones she picked out haha!! They made me feel so comfortable and were so kind to my mom and I with all the questions we had regarding all the dresses, prices, rentals, and any other questions we had. If anyone is looking for a wedding dress rental place GO HERE!! I am a very picky girl and I found my perfect dress on the 3rd dress I tried on. They have so many different styles and sizes, and they are located in the cutest little older shop that fits the asthenic perfectly. So yes!! 5 stars for me!!🤩

This place is so fantastic! The owners are great and super helpful. I consigned my dress with them and they made the process so easy for me. Their selection of dresses are GORGEOUS! I almost wish I could have another wedding so I could wear one of their dresses. Love this place!!!

I’m sure my experience is not the norm since it seems like they’re nice enough people and others have had good experiences, but I just want to warn you about what happened to me with this shop. When I first went in and didn’t find anything I liked, Brooke, the owner, told me about a new process she was putting in place with a designer where you could basically order custom designed dresses and then just pay to rent them. Sounded great bc I wasn’t finding anything I liked ANYWHERE. I put in my order, paid the $200 down payment, and was told to expect my dress in 4-5 weeks. 5 weeks rolls around and I haven’t heard anything, so I emailed the owner for an update. I had to email her three times and call twice over the space of a month to finally get in touch with her FIVE DAYS before my wedding date and be told that my dress was stuck in customs. Luckily for her, I had already found a simple backup dress and didn’t mind as much since we were doing a small elopement bc of covid, and the nice dress that I ordered didn’t reeeeaally need to be here until August for our redo wedding. I was told I could expect it to be here in mid May. I emailed May 24, June 3, and June 20 and got radio silence. Nothing. I called three times over the course of three days and FINALLY got Brooke to call me back today (June 23) only to tell me the dress never arrived and she had no idea if/when it would. She offered me a refund and/or 25% off any other dress they have in stock, but I’m in Texas for the summer now and that does little to help me. My wedding is August 15th and instead of communicating with me so I can find a new dress these past two months, they had me sitting around waiting, ignoring me. I have very few options with so little time left, and I am LIVID. I trusted them to come through and they failed HARD. I feel taken advantage of and manipulated, and I am furious that I have been cheated out of my dream dress. I will have to settle for something I don’t love bc I waited months for them to answer a simple question. If you find your dream dress in stock, great. Good for you. I’m sure your experience will be fine. DO NOT order anything through them and expect them to come through. DO NOT expect them to communicate with you or be organized in any way.
